Poll: Netanyahu's popularity declines regarding the management of the Gaza war despite Likud's lead.

A poll conducted by the Hebrew channel "i24 News" showed that the Likud party, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, still dominates the political scene with 26 seats in the Knesset, followed by a new party led by Naftali Bennett, which secured 22 seats.

The Yisrael Beiteinu party, led by Avigdor Lieberman, received 10 seats, the Shas party got 9 seats, and the Democratic Party, led by Yair Golan, obtained 8 seats. The parties of Gadi Eisenkot and Yahadut HaTorah each received 7 seats.

The Yesh Atid party, led by Yair Lapid, the United Arab List, led by Mansour Abbas, and Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, each secured 6 seats. The Hadash-Ta'al alliance garnered 5 seats, while both Blue and White, led by Benny Gantz, and the Religious Zionism party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, received 4 seats each.

The Balad party did not surpass the electoral threshold, reflecting changes in the Israeli political power map. The poll indicated that Netanyahu's camp would secure 52 seats, compared to 57 seats for the Bennett-Eisenkot camp.

The results show that the current coalition parties hold only 49 seats, against 61 seats for the center-left camp, while the Arab parties retain 10 seats without allying with any bloc.

Regarding Netanyahu's performance in managing the war on Gaza, 60% of respondents gave a negative evaluation, while only 31% viewed his performance positively. Additionally, 46% indicated that the continuation of the war is due to political considerations to maintain the coalition.

As for options to end the war, 54% supported a complete ceasefire, while 28% preferred to expand operations and occupy the city of Gaza. Only 3% supported a partial deal with Hamas remaining in power.

Concerning calls to disrupt the economy to pressure for the release of Israeli prisoners, 39% supported this step, while 43% opposed it. Moreover, 66% of respondents blamed Hamas for the failure of negotiations regarding the release of prisoners.

These results indicate a shift in the Israeli political power map with the rise of new faces like Bennett and Eisenkot, and a decline in public confidence in Netanyahu's performance amid the ongoing war and the stalled prisoner issue.

This reflects the intensifying political competition in light of the security and political crises plaguing the occupying state.

UN condemns the crime of Israel's assassination of the Al Jazeera team in Gaza.

The United Nations Human Rights Commission condemned today, Monday, the assassination of 6 Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation army, including Al Jazeera correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qareqea, due to the bombing of their tent in Gaza City. The commission considered this a "flagrant violation of international humanitarian law."

In its condemnation of the massacre of journalists, the UN commission stated via X platform: "Israel must respect and protect all civilians in the Gaza Strip, including journalists." It added that it "condemns the killing of 6 Palestinian journalists by Israeli army fire targeting their tent, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law."

The commission also called for immediate, safe, and unhindered access for all journalists from global media to the Gaza Strip, which has been facing a fierce Israeli war for 22 months. The spokesperson for the UN Human Rights Commission emphasized that Israel must respect and protect journalists, not target them.

The treacherous assassination targeted Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif, a symbol of media coverage of the war on the Gaza Strip, along with another correspondent from the channel, Muhammad Qareqea, and 3 members of the filming crew, after a direct targeting of their tent set up in front of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

This crime by the Israeli occupation follows a concentrated campaign of threats and incitement launched by Israeli army spokesperson Avichai Adraee against journalist Al-Sharif, which lasted for many months. Earlier today, the government media office in Gaza announced the death of journalist Muhammad Al-Khalidi due to injuries sustained from an Israeli bombing that targeted the journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital.

With this new crime by the occupation, the number of martyrs among journalists has risen to 238 since the beginning of the genocide war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, according to the government media office in the sector. Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide war, Al-Sharif and Qareqea have not stopped reporting on the events, developments, and repercussions of the ongoing bombardment on the sector.

Palestinian and international journalistic bodies mourned the Al Jazeera crew that fell last night, confirming that the crime comes as part of ongoing Israeli attempts to silence voices and images, and to continue committing acts of genocide away from the cameras' lenses.

The journalistic bodies also considered this crime a direct targeting of freedom of expression. Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,430 martyrs and 153,213 injured, in addition to thousands of missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, and famine that has claimed many lives, including dozens of children.

How did Netanyahu try to obscure the signs of the starvation in Gaza?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared before the camera holding a piece of paper, with a screen behind him displaying images of three starving Gazan children suffering from hunger under siege. In his recorded speech, Netanyahu addressed these images one by one, attempting to twist the meaning and deny the reality of famine documented by Palestinian and international reports and testimonies.

This speech was not an exception, but an extension of an escalating Israeli campaign aimed at denying and refuting any narrative that links the siege to famine in Gaza. The images that Netanyahu labeled as "Fake" conceal real tragedies of families who have lost children to weight loss and weakness due to hunger, yet Netanyahu attributed their suffering to genetic diseases.

The "Al Jazeera Investigates" team followed up on these claims and revealed – through evidence and official documents – the full facts behind each child's story, allowing the true picture to emerge, far from the narrative of Israeli propaganda.

Osama Al-Raqab began Netanyahu's remarks, as he read from a paper in front of him, stating that the Gazan child Osama Al-Raqab was suffering from genetic health issues. However, scrutiny of the matter debunked this narrative, as research into the child's condition showed medical documentation confirming that Osama did not suffer from any hereditary disease, and that the deterioration of his health was due to a lack of food.

On June 12, Osama was evacuated to a hospital in Italy for treatment after his body had turned into a skeleton due to severe malnutrition resulting from the ongoing war and the closure of crossings.

In the same recorded speech, Netanyahu claimed that another child named Abdul Qadir Al-Fayoumi was suffering from genetic neurological problems, but the research conducted by the "Al Jazeera Investigates" team revealed contradictions in this narrative; sources at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza confirmed that the child died due to hunger and malnutrition.

Continuing with his claims, Netanyahu presented a picture of the child Muhammad Zakariya Ayoub Al-Matouq, alleging that he suffered from a hereditary issue, but our team reviewed the child's file at the outpatient clinics of Al-Rantisi Hospital, and it became clear that the child was suffering from severe malnutrition during the war.

The child's mother also confirmed that her son was living normally before suffering from malnutrition, noting that his weight had significantly decreased due to the war.

Netanyahu did not stop at accusing Gazans of fabricating scenes of hunger, but claimed that Israel recently allowed tons of humanitarian aid to enter, yet verification showed that the image he presented was published months before the peak of the starvation catastrophe.

In the context of discussing the accumulation of aid, UNRWA confirmed that the occupation authorities have complete control over the entry and exit crossings, which hinders their ability to deliver food and medicine to Gaza.

Important developments regarding the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.. A Hamas delegation in Cairo

A leadership delegation from Hamas arrived today, Monday, in the Egyptian capital Cairo, in a move that represents a resumption of official communications. This visit comes as part of new regional and international efforts to resume indirect negotiations with the occupying entity, with the aim of reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

This visit follows a Turkish mediation that successfully reopened negotiation channels between Cairo and Hamas. According to the source, the diplomatic move began with a visit by a Hamas leadership delegation to Ankara last week, where they met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Subsequently, Fidan visited Cairo last Saturday, where he met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and presented an official request from Turkey to mediate in restoring communication between Egypt and Hamas regarding outstanding issues.

Cairo has expressed its readiness to receive the movement's delegation, amid regional and international pressures to halt escalation and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. These efforts come at a sensitive time, as the occupying government announced early last Friday that it had approved a gradual plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip.

The plan, which may take months to implement, involves the participation of up to six military units, starting with the occupation of Gaza City and the displacement of its population of nearly one million towards "shelter centers" in Khan Younis within two weeks.

In return, Hamas confirmed that it has shown all necessary flexibility to ensure the success of ceasefire efforts. It stated that it is ready to take all steps that pave the way for an agreement, including "moving towards a comprehensive deal for the release of all detainees held by the occupation at once, achieving a halt to the war and the withdrawal of occupying forces."

The occupation police arrest an Israeli on charges of writing "Holocaust in Gaza" on the Western Wall.

In an incident that sparked a wave of anger among occupation officials, the phrase "There is a Holocaust in Gaza" was written on the Buraq Wall, also known as the Western Wall, in occupied East Jerusalem. This phrase came in the context of the ongoing aggression faced by the Gaza Strip for 22 months.

The occupation police announced that they had arrested a 27-year-old suspect, and a photo of the writing, which was inscribed in black and in Hebrew, was published. The police also reported that a similar phrase was written on the wall of the Great Synagogue at another location in Jerusalem.

This incident provoked angry reactions from occupation officials, with the rabbi of the Western Wall, Shmuel Rabinowitz, describing the sacred place as not a venue for expressing protests, demanding that the perpetrators be brought to justice.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir deemed the incident "shocking," pledging that the police would deal with it "at lightning speed." Meanwhile, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich considered the perpetrators to have "forgotten what it means to be Jewish."

Opposition leader Benny Gantz described the incident as "a crime against the entire Jewish people," reflecting the sensitivity such phrases evoke in the Israeli context.

This incident comes at a sensitive time, as tensions in the region escalate due to the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, increasing the importance of the discussion about freedom of expression and its limits in religious and political contexts.

Hebrew newspaper: Hamas still holds power in Gaza despite the fiercest war in modern history.

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that despite nearly two years having passed since the occupying state launched a war aimed at dismantling Hamas following the attacks of October 7, the movement remains the dominant force in the besieged Gaza Strip, continuing to govern, fight, and even pay the salaries of its fighters, largely unaffected by the suffocating blockade and the damage inflicted on its infrastructure.

The newspaper added in a lengthy report that Hamas is entrenched in Gazan society, having adapted financially and militarily to withstand the aftermath of the assassination of its senior leaders and the intense pressure exerted by the occupying army within the enclave of the Gaza Strip. Resilience.

The newspaper quoted analysts as saying that Hamas's resilience is not mere coincidence, but rather the result of an organization that has deeply integrated into the fabric of Gazan society, militarily adapted, and developed its financial methods to survive one of the fiercest conflicts in the modern history of the region.

Michael Milstein, head of the Palestinian Studies Forum at the Moshe Dayan Center, stated that Hamas is not just a military wing or a political party, but a broader entity deeply rooted in Palestinian society. Over the past twenty years, it has managed to build strong ties through education, charitable work, mosques, youth clubs, and women's associations.

Milstein believes that the social infrastructure of the movement is the main reason for its continued support, even as reports emerge about its loss of thousands of fighters. He explained that the essence of Hamas's organization is based on flexibility and repetition, and they remain the dominant force in Gaza, possessing thousands of elements and supporters ready to intervene.

On the other hand, Ihsan Attaya, head of the Arab and International Relations Department in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, stated that Hamas's strength comes from ideological commitment and operational structure, which is the secret to its success in maintaining its political control amid a campaign of genocide and starvation.

He added that they operate within a tight organization and a strong security apparatus that helps maintain internal order even under the harshest conditions. Contrary to rumors of a sharp division between its leadership in Gaza and its exiled political office, the cohesion of its unified leadership structure is one of the main reasons for its resilience.

From a military planning perspective, Milstein noted that since mid-2024, Hamas has adopted the principle of attrition, shifting from just the Al-Qassam Brigades to cells of three, five, or seven fighters at most, executing ambushes and attacks.

Attaya confirmed that military operations remain intensive and coordinated, with fighters planting explosives, preparing ambushes, and maintaining tactical communication between their units, despite the dominant aerial and ground presence of the occupying state.

The experts point out that Hamas's underground tunnel network remains essential to its ability to endure, allowing the movement of fighters, weapons, and even leadership figures across vast areas of Gaza.

Perhaps most surprisingly, Hamas continues to pay its members' salaries even amid financial blockade, albeit through innovative means, finding ways to ensure some compensation for its members, according to Attaya, who confirmed that this has caused significant frustration for the Israeli leadership.

Milstein stated that there is no doubt that Hamas is suffering from financial distress, but it has always been characterized by its ability to adapt and find solutions to crises, whether through the use of drones, smuggling routes via Bedouin networks, or back channels in Rafah, they find ways to transfer money.

The newspaper's report indicated that Hamas's current strategy relies on enduring against the enemy, focusing not on achieving a quick military victory but on undermining the occupying state's ability to endure and its global legitimacy.

This was confirmed by Milstein, who stated that Hamas is betting on attrition, pushing to raise the costs militarily, economically, and politically until the occupying state can no longer continue the war; it is a long-term game.

Attaya sees this as the only viable option under the current circumstances, stating that with no political horizon, stalled ceasefire talks, and the absence of alternatives, Hamas is compelled to engage in a long-term war of attrition, battles that undermine the stability, image, and sense of control and superiority of the occupying state.

Milstein concluded by saying that Hamas remains resilient, even if weakened by the war, continuing its work, ideology, and social services, and its operational flexibility enables it to survive in a war zone that most people would find difficult to control, demonstrating their deep-rootedness in the reality of Gaza.

After the occupying state failed to achieve its war objectives against Gaza, which included eliminating Hamas and recovering its captives held by the movement, Netanyahu is seeking to fully occupy the

Reporters Without Borders condemns Israel's "assassination" of the Al Jazeera crew in Gaza and calls for international action.

The organization "Reporters Without Borders" issued a statement strongly condemning and expressing outrage at the "premeditated assassination" of Al Jazeera correspondent Anas Al-Sharif, who was martyred along with four of his colleagues in an Israeli airstrike targeting the channel's crew in Gaza City.

The Israeli army confirmed its responsibility for the attack, highlighting the escalation of aggression against journalists who seek to convey the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation.

The statement described Anas Al-Sharif as a prominent voice expressing the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip under the weight of the ongoing Israeli blockade and bombardment.

"Reporters Without Borders" called on the international community to take urgent and effective action to stop these repeated violations targeting journalists, considering the bombardment a clear war crime that warrants accountability for the Israeli officials.

The organization clarified that targeting journalists in conflict areas violates international law rules that protect journalism and freedom of expression, demanding the guarantee of safety for those working in the media field.

These statements come amid escalating violence in the Gaza Strip, where civilian neighborhoods and media outlets are subjected to continuous bombardment, resulting in hundreds of martyrs and injured.

Al Jazeera continues to highlight the crimes of the Israeli occupation, despite the significant risks faced by its journalistic team, prompting the occupation to target its correspondents in the sector.

The assassination of Anas Al-Sharif and his colleagues is one of the most prominent events revealing a dangerous escalation in targeting press freedom, raising questions about the impunity enjoyed by the Israeli occupation.

"Reporters Without Borders" called for support for independent investigative efforts and international accountability to curb these violations and ensure the protection of journalists, as silencing their voices means concealing the truth.

A Saudi academic reveals details of Israel's plan to displace Gaza residents and the failure of Arab peace.

The Saudi writer and researcher, Professor of Political Science Dr. Khalid Al-Dakhil, revealed the dimensions of the tragedy in the Gaza Strip, which is facing a comprehensive Israeli assault, pointing out that this assault reveals the intentions of the occupying state to completely seize the territory.

Al-Dakhil clarified in a tweet on the 'X' platform that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced a plan aimed at displacing the residents of Gaza to Arab countries, particularly Jordan and Egypt, with American promises to finance the reception of these displaced individuals.

He noted that Israel has imposed a complete blockade on Gaza, leading to people dying of hunger, especially children, as those waiting to receive food aid are targeted by bombardment.

Al-Dakhil confirmed that this policy aims to turn Gaza into an 'uninhabitable area,' pushing Palestinians to leave for neighboring Arab countries with support from the American administration.

In the context of strategic analysis, Al-Dakhil pointed out that this policy is part of a deeper Israeli strategy that began before the establishment of the Hebrew state, which includes the refusal to delineate final borders and the adoption of a continuous settlement program.

He also mentioned that Israel did not respond to Arab recognition of its legitimacy by recognizing the Palestinian state, which illustrates the imbalance in peace relations and complicates the crisis further.

Al-Dakhil considered that the escalation in Gaza and the ongoing Israeli refusal of any political solution places Palestinians in a deep humanitarian and political predicament, confirming that the suffering in Gaza is not just an emergency situation.

With American support, Israel is waging a genocide against Gaza that includes killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,430 Palestinian martyrs and 153,213 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals and a famine that has killed 217 people.

The West Bank.. Israeli settlers establish a settlement outpost north of Ramallah.

Israeli settlers began establishing a new settlement outpost on the lands of the town of Attara, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Monday. This step comes as part of the expansionist settlement policy pursued by the occupying state.

According to the Bedouin Rights Defense Organization, groups of settlers have started land leveling and placing mobile homes (caravans) on the lands of Attara, indicating the occupation's intention to seize more Palestinian land.

The settlement activities are taking place under heavy protection from the occupying forces, which provided security cover for the settlers and prevented landowners and citizens from approaching or attempting to confront them, reflecting a systematic policy of repression against Palestinians.

The establishment of this settlement outpost is considered a blatant violation of Palestinian rights, especially in rural and Bedouin areas, and constitutes a clear breach of international laws and United Nations resolutions that prohibit all forms of settlement in occupied territories.

The organization called on the international community and human rights institutions to intervene immediately to stop these violations and hold those responsible accountable, noting that this step is part of a systematic policy to displace indigenous populations.

A report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission of the Palestine Liberation Organization indicated that settlers attempted to establish 18 new settlement outposts during last July, demonstrating a rise in settlement activity in the West Bank.

According to the commission, the number of settlers in the West Bank reached about 770,000 by the end of 2024, distributed across 180 settlements and 256 settlement outposts, reflecting the ongoing expansion of the occupation in Palestinian territories.

Argentinian artists, writers, and historians declare their stance against the genocide in Gaza.

In a statement issued in Argentina, at the invitation of the Association of Socialist Intellectuals and Artists, a position rejecting the genocide being inflicted on the residents of the Gaza Strip was announced. The statement, titled 'Gaza: Before It's Too Late,' condemns the catastrophic humanitarian situation faced by Palestinians as a result of Israeli aggression.

Approximately 1,200 prominent figures from various cultural, artistic, and academic fields signed the statement, noting that Gaza is suffering from ongoing genocide, with over 60,000 Gazans killed, including around 20,000 children, during 21 months of aggression.

Since October 2023, the region has been suffering from a brutal blockade that hinders the entry of food, medicine, and essential aid, leading to widespread famine and tragic conditions, where people are dying of hunger in the streets, and hospitals are filled with children suffering from malnutrition.

The statement added that Israel is preventing the entry of thousands of trucks loaded with aid, and that most of the assistance passes through a private American company, reflecting international complicity and cultural silence regarding the issue.

The signatories also addressed the announcement by the Israeli Minister of Defense regarding his intention to establish a detention camp in Rafah, which threatens to expand the ethnic cleansing project to include the West Bank after the Israeli parliament voted to fully annex this area.

The statement concluded with a call to take to the streets worldwide to stop the most brutal genocide of our time and to halt the occupying state's aggression against Gaza before it's too late.

In a related context, Argentine Jewish editor 'Ariel Kohn' issued an open letter addressing the genocide in Gaza from the perspective of culture and literature in Israel, condemning the complicity of cultural circles there.

Kohn mentioned that his publishing house announced its intention to place a phrase on the back cover of its books expressing opposition to the killing of innocents in Gaza, but the reactions were negative, reflecting a state of cultural repression.

Kohn called for gathering international condemnations from the literary community and stimulating dialogue, emphasizing the importance of reevaluating the relationship with the occupying state, and that literary publishing should become a political and humanitarian tool to stop the massacres and famine in Palestine.

Israeli Colonizers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

On the morning of Monday, August 11, 2025, settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police. This incursion comes in the context of ongoing Israeli violations against Islamic holy sites.

Local sources reported that dozens of settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, where they carried out provocative tours in its courtyards. They performed Talmudic rituals, which provoked the resentment and anger of Palestinians who consider Al-Aqsa a symbol of their resistance.

These incursions coincide with rising tensions in occupied Jerusalem, where the occupation seeks to change the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, threatening security and stability in the region.

The occupation police continue to provide protection for the settlers during their incursions, reflecting the occupation's policy of supporting settlement and enhancing the presence of settlers in Palestinian territories.

The death toll of journalists in Gaza due to the Israeli genocide rises to 238.

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the number of dead journalists  has risen to 238, following the death of the journalist Mohammed Khalidi as a result of the Israeli airstrike near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Khalidi, who worked with the Sahat platform, is the sixth journalist to be killed in a horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation through direct shelling of the journalists' tent in the area.

With this, Khalidi joins his colleagues who were killed in the previous airstrike, including Al Jazeera reporters Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Qareqea, and photojournalists Ibrahim Zaher and Moamen Aliwa, along with their assistant Mohammed Nofal.

Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh condemned the killing of these journalists, calling for urgent action to hold the occupation accountable and stop its ongoing crimes.

Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, reporters Al-Sharif and Qareqea have continued to cover the developments of the aggression on Gaza, despite the threats they faced.

Al-Sharif was subjected to extensive incitement campaigns by the occupation, as his home in Jabalia camp was bombed in December 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of his father.

The administration of Al-Sharif's page on the 'X' platform also published his will, which he wrote last April, reflecting his commitment to the Palestinian cause.

Israel continues to wage a genocide against Gaza with American support, resulting in the deaths of 61,430 Palestinians and injuring 153,213 others, most of whom are children and women.

The Israeli aggression has also led to the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands and a famine that claimed the lives of 217 people, including 100 children, amid the disregard for international calls to stop these crimes.

Israeli fire belts and the demolition of residential buildings in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza.

The occupying army carried out a series of airstrikes on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City on the night of Sunday/Monday, resulting in the destruction of several residential buildings in the area. Residents of the sector heard the explosions that shook the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that the heavy Israeli strikes caused significant destruction, although human losses have not been immediately determined. These airstrikes come at a sensitive time as tensions in the region escalate.

Our correspondent clarified that the occupying army heavily shelled and bombed the southern and eastern areas of Gaza City, exacerbating the suffering of civilians under difficult humanitarian conditions.

This escalation comes two days after the Israeli government approved a plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, with warnings that this step could worsen the humanitarian situation and endanger the lives of Israeli captives.

In a related context, the occupying army targeted a tent for journalists near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza with an airstrike, resulting in the martyrdom of five crew members from Al Jazeera, including journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qareqea, highlighting the dangers faced by journalists in conflict areas.

The military escalation followed a phone call between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump, during which they discussed the occupation plan for the Gaza Strip, raising concerns about international support for these operations.

On Friday morning, the Israeli cabinet approved a plan that begins with the occupation of Gaza City, by displacing its population of about one million to the south, indicating the intention of the occupation to carry out incursions into residential areas.

The second phase of the plan includes the occupation of refugee camps in the central sector, which have suffered severe damage due to the ongoing aggression, placing further pressure on the civilian population.

Ibiza negotiations.. Will they succeed in ending the massacre?

Dr. Hussein Al-Daik: Washington seeks to achieve a political breakthrough that could be credited to Trump and possibly open the way for him to run for the Nobel Peace Prize if he manages to end the war

Dr. Dalia Arikat: Previous rounds of negotiations confirm that any dialogue that does not address the roots of the conflict or establish a clear framework for ending the occupation remains prone to failure

Nabhan Khreisha: The Ibiza negotiations reflect that attempts to stop the war have not yet ended despite the field escalation and the decision to proceed with the complete occupation of the sector

Dr. Raed Al-Dab'i: The chances of achieving a real breakthrough in the round of negotiations between Witkoff and the Qatari Prime Minister seem weak in light of Netanyahu's insistence on war

Dr. Irini Said: Repeating the same methods and tools previously used in negotiations will likely lead to the same results

Sari Samour: Israel is proceeding with its plans on the ground and will not back down even if agreements are reached, and it will violate any understanding as it has done before

In an atmosphere of anticipation, the Spanish island of Ibiza witnessed a meeting between U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and the Qatari Prime Minister, in an attempt to break the deadlock surrounding the negotiations regarding Gaza, amidst the potential revival of negotiations and the end of the massacre in the Gaza Strip.

Writers, political analysts, specialists, and university professors, in separate conversations with "Y," indicate that the meeting came in light of the Israeli cabinet's decision to proceed with a plan to occupy the city of Gaza or control it and displace its residents, linking the implementation of this plan to Hamas's acceptance of Israeli conditions. In return, the movement announced its readiness to release all prisoners and detainees at once, provided that the war stops and the occupation army withdraws to its position before October 7, 2023.

While writers, political analysts, specialists, and university professors considered that the meeting might open a new negotiation track that would bring the Israeli delegation back to Doha to resume talks, or it could end in failure as in the past, others believe that it may not go beyond surveying positions or tactical pressure to force "Hamas" to make concessions. Despite the American moves that some are trying to market as a political breakthrough, writers, analysts, specialists, and university professors warn that Israel is still proceeding with its field plans, and that the hesitant American, European, and Arab positions give it additional space for military action.

Critical and Sensitive Timing

Writer and political analyst Dr. Hussein Al-Daik believes that the meeting between U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and the Qatari Prime Minister in Ibiza comes at a critical and sensitive time, as a joint attempt between Washington and Doha to break the deadlock that dominates the negotiation track regarding Gaza.

This meeting, according to Al-Daik, follows Witkoff's own announcement of the failure of previous negotiations and placing the blame on Hamas, after the Israeli cabinet approved a plan to occupy the city of Gaza or control it and displace its residents.

Al-Daik believes that this plan, announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, is conditional on Hamas's retreat and acceptance of Israeli conditions, and it will be frozen if that happens.

Al-Daik points out that intensive communications took place at the highest levels between Cairo, Doha, and Washington, leading to the Ibiza meeting, aimed at pulling the rug out from under the Israeli government and preventing the implementation of its military plan. In return, Hamas announced its readiness to release all prisoners and detainees at once, provided that the war stops completely and the Israeli army withdraws to its position before October 7, 2023.

Possible Scenarios

According to Al-Daik, the possible scenarios after this meeting include: launching a new negotiation track, with the Israeli delegation returning to Doha and starting negotiations through technical committees, which may later lead to an agreement, or it may end in failure as it did in the previous round.

According to Al-Daik, the second scenario is an attempt to survey positions, i.e., to find out whether "Hamas" has changed its positions or not, and whether Israel should proceed with its plan or if there is room for mutual concessions.

The third scenario, according to Al-Daik, is Israeli tactical pressure, where Netanyahu may

Where is the escape

The only refuge left for the Gazans is the sea and its raging waves, a sanctuary from the ongoing extermination that has persisted for nearly two years, where death is distributed among everyone through killing, starvation, diseases, and the oppression stemming from the bleak scenery and the dire situation.

In the garb of the preachers, the Likud fox appeared yesterday before the foreign press, his tongue dripping with blatant lies, expressing his concern for the civilians who are daily subjected to the knives at their throats, promising them that he would shower them with much aid after he destroys what remains of their homes and cuts off the last lifelines in their neighborhoods after he liberates Gaza from them, pushing them "voluntarily" under the aerial and artillery bombardment to the south, denying starvation as a systematic policy that he has long encouraged and incited to implement; by cutting off water, electricity, food, and medicine from the children of the giants whom he ordered to be killed, starved, and their crops and offspring destroyed in revenge against them.

Lying is Netanyahu's policy and his daily bread to prolong the war so that he does not fall from the throne; if Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda for the Führer during World War II, were to be resurrected from his grave, he would faint from the sheer volume of lies he would hear, surpassing his own theory of lying, which he never expected anyone after him would compete with him in the invention of.

The starving in the last kilometer of the afflicted city find no refuge to escape to from the ongoing and anticipated hell other than the sea, they who returned from the south as men and in every emaciated form, during the solitary truce that allowed them to return to the ruins of their homes, setting up their tents under the collapsing roofs and among the demolished buildings and the swept streets, before the killers pursued them, threatening them with worse and more severe conditions than what they have lived through during the past days and months, as if the war were to return as if it were on its opening day.

The killing of the witnesses, the correspondents of "Al Jazeera," Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qariqa, by targeting the journalists' tent in front of Al-Shifa Hospital last night falls within the framework of a systematic policy of obfuscation, carrying ominous signs and serious threats regarding the crimes awaiting the city of Gaza that are intended to be carried out away from the lenses of the press.

Occupation of Gaza: Ethnic Cleansing in an Updated Version

Shadi Al-Sharfa: The adoption of the "gradual occupation" plan for the Gaza Strip is a step within a deeper project to reshape geography and demographics.

Dr. Thaer Abu Ras: There are several risks to the occupation of the Strip, the most prominent of which is the confinement of all its residents to the south of the Mawasi, which practically means complete ethnic cleansing of the north.

Ismail Muslimani: The proposed scenarios include starting to control the eastern and northern border strip and then cutting the Strip into isolated areas.

Wadi Abu Nasar: There are persistent attempts to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip or push them to leave, and this may also apply to the West Bank.

The adoption of the Israeli Security Cabinet's "Kabinett" plan for the "gradual occupation" of the Gaza Strip reflects a shift in the nature of the aggression that has been ongoing for nearly two years, and opens the door wide to a more bloody phase against unarmed civilians. While this approach, although it seems purely a military escalation, carries in its essence political dimensions related to the implementation of a pre-prepared racist plan to empty the Gaza Strip of its inhabitants through extermination and forced displacement, as part of a deeper project to reshape the geography and demographics of the Strip.

Writers and analysts, in separate discussions with "Y", pointed out that "this path raises real fears of reproducing scenarios of forced displacement similar to what happened in the Srebrenica genocide, when the population was stripped of their means of defense before being left to their fate, noting that since the announcement of the gradual occupation, features of a plan that exceeds the limits of Gaza as a battlefield to being a laboratory for applying old-new policies aimed at controlling the land while reducing the Palestinian presence by confining it to crowded pockets or pushing it outside the borders are emerging."

They warned that "this racist thinking interacts with an extended Israeli policy, which is the policy of buying time as a means to achieve the process of Judaizing Palestine, and then imposing the status quo on the Arabs, and what helps this is the experience of American support for the Judaization of Jerusalem through the transfer of the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem."

Erasing Palestinians to Achieve Israel's Expansionist Goals

Dr. Mazen Al-Ramdhani, Professor of Political Science/International Politics and Futures Studies, Head of the Futures Studies Unit at the Global Institute for Arab Renewal, stated: "Israel is one of the regional powers whose projects involve the erasure of Palestinians and Arabs, as an identity and future, as a means to achieve its expansionist goals."

He pointed out that "the experience since 1948 indicates that Israeli behavioral patterns, perhaps the latest of which is what is happening in Gaza with programmed destruction and widespread killing of innocent civilians, in addition to its inclination towards occupation, these patterns are equivalent to the behavioral patterns of the imperial state, which is no longer only linked to direct military control tools, but has also become associated with indirect subjugation mechanisms, economically, culturally, and then politically."

Al-Ramdhani added: "All these mechanisms, in both types, erase those values that secure humanity for the individual, and for states their liberation, independence, and civilizational advancement."

Al-Ramdhani emphasized that "the policy of displacement and total destruction resulting from the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and the claim that Israeli control remains extended over time, is intended to pave the way for the cancellation of the Arab identity of Gaza, and then its complete Judaization later as is happening with Jerusalem. The question is: Why is there a desire to Judaize Arab Palestinian lands?"

He believes that "Talmudic Jewish thought provides an answer to the above question. This thought links place and time to the role of the Jewish Zionist, as it affirms that "the Jewish Zionist who denies the other and recognizes only himself wants the place for himself alone, meaning he wants the land, and he also wants the time, meaning he wants to seize history and monopolize it... As for the other, who is meant to be the Arab, he must be expelled, otherwise his fate will be death and subjugation."

Al-Ramdhani clarified that "this racist thinking interacts with an

Israeli Government leak reveals: Israel chose to starve Gaza as a weapon to break the truce.

A report from the American site "Mundois" revealed that Israel's decision to starve the residents of Gaza is a war strategy aimed at breaking the ceasefire and forcing Hamas to surrender. This decision came despite the opposition of senior security and military officials in the Israeli government.

According to leaked minutes from the Israeli government meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected several proposals aimed at securing the release of Israeli prisoners during the ceasefire period between January and March 2025. Instead, Netanyahu decided to break the truce and cut all aid to Gaza.

The Israeli government meeting scheduled for March 1 was set to discuss the fate of the ceasefire with Hamas, where the second phase of the agreement, which includes talks to end the war permanently, was expected to begin.

The leaked minutes showed that military and intelligence officials called for ending the ceasefire agreement, while ministers opposed this. Brigadier General Nitzan Alon, responsible for the prisoner file, indicated that the only opportunity to secure the release of prisoners lies in discussing the terms of the second phase.

The head of Israel's internal intelligence service, Ronen Bar, confirmed that the preferred option is to move forward with the second phase, noting that Israel can return to war later. A senior security official expressed the possibility of securing the release of more prisoners, but this requires engaging in talks about the second phase.

Despite these proposals, the government led by Netanyahu, who was supported by Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, rejected them, asserting that Israel is not prepared to end the war as long as Hamas remains in power.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich attacked military officials, asserting that they are misleading the public, while Defense Minister Israel Katz supported a partial deal to return a number of detainees.

On March 18, Israel broke the ceasefire by launching airstrikes on Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of 400 Palestinians, most of whom were civilians. The occupying state also closed crossing points, leading to a sharp decline in goods and humanitarian aid.

The continuation of the blockade has led to the spread of famine, with UNICEF describing the deaths of Palestinian children from hunger as unbearable. Israel also halted the work of UN agencies in Gaza, restricting aid distribution to the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

This foundation, supported by Israel and run by the United States, forced Palestinians to travel to distribution centers in southern Gaza, where they were endangered by the occupying army. So far, 1,561 people have been martyred at these sites, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Netanyahu calls Trump and discusses a "rapid operation" in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed with U.S. President Donald Trump the plan for the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, where he talked about a rapid military operation aimed at taking control of what remains of Hamas strongholds to end the war.

In a statement issued by Netanyahu's office, it was noted that the phone call between them is the first since the Israeli government approved the plan to occupy the sector, where Netanyahu thanked Trump for his steadfast support for Israel.

Netanyahu confirmed that the military operation would be swift, but he did not specify any timeline for it, claiming that Israel's goal is not to occupy Gaza but to 'liberate it' from Hamas, which reflects an attempt to avoid the legal ramifications associated with the word 'occupation.'

In a related context, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the Israeli army will deploy 'all its regular forces to Gaza' as part of the planned operation, as the army seeks to build a plan to occupy the city of Gaza and needs a week to outline the details.

The Israeli security cabinet also approved a plan that begins with the occupation of the city of Gaza by displacing its population of about one million to the south, then surrounding the city and conducting incursions into residential areas.

Since March 2, the occupation has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, resulting in a state of famine despite the accumulation of relief trucks at the border, where only limited quantities are allowed in that do not meet the minimum needs of the citizens.

With U.S. support, the occupation is committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, including killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop these actions.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,258 martyrs and 152,045 injured, with more than 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons, reflecting the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the besieged sector.

New Zealand and Australia intend to recognize a Palestinian state.

New Zealand's Foreign Minister Winston Peters announced that the New Zealand government is currently considering recognizing a Palestinian state. He clarified that the official decision will be made in September.

During a joint press conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Peters confirmed that New Zealand will present its approach during the UN Leaders' Week, reflecting a positive trend towards supporting the rights of Palestinians.

For his part, Australian Prime Minister Albanese stated that Australia will recognize a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly in September, marking an important step in Australian foreign policy.

These statements come at a sensitive time, as international pressure is increasing to recognize the rights of Palestinians to self-determination amid recurring crises in the Gaza Strip.

These steps by New Zealand and Australia are seen as an indication of a shift in political positions regarding the Palestinian issue, and may inspire other countries in the region and around the world to take similar actions.

Palestinians hope that these recognitions will enhance their rights and provide the necessary international support to end the occupation and achieve a just peace.

10 dead in the occupation's shelling of Gaza and Khan Youn

This morning, Monday, 10 citizens were killed after the occupation aircraft bombed the city of Gaza and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. This ongoing aggression reflects the escalation of the occupation against Palestinian civilians.

Medical sources reported the death of 7 citizens and the injury of several others due to the bombing of an occupation aircraft on a house in the western camp in Khan Younis. This attack comes at a time when the sector is suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis.

In the city of Gaza, 3 citizens were killed and others were injured after the occupation bombed a tent for displaced persons on Al-Lababidi Street in the city. These attacks directly target civilians, exacerbating the suffering of the population.

The Israeli occupation army also demolished residential buildings east of the city of Gaza, leading to the destruction of more homes and the displacement of Palestinian families. These actions contradict international laws that protect civilians in times of conflict.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 61,430 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 153,213 others. These figures reflect the magnitude of the humanitarian disaster that the Palestinians are experiencing.

Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, and rescue teams cannot reach them due to the ongoing aggression. This situation requires urgent international intervention to save what can be saved.

An impactful will from the martyr Anas Al-Sharif: Be bridges to liberate our usurped land.

The martyr journalist Anas Al-Sharif left an emotional will before his martyrdom, expressing his steadfastness to the principle and his commitment to his message in defending his people and exposing the crimes of the occupation. Anas published his will through his official account on the "X" platform, where he said: "This is my will, and my last message. If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice."

In his will, which he wrote last April, Anas began by expressing his love for his people and his hope to return to their original town of Ashkelon, "Majdal." He said: "God knows that I have exerted all my effort and strength to be a support and a voice for my people."

Anas lived the pain in all its details, tasted the agony and loss repeatedly, and despite that, he never hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without distortion or alteration. He recommended that God be a witness to those who remained silent and those who accepted our killing, and to those who besieged our breaths.

The martyr Anas bequeathed Palestine, emphasizing that it is the jewel of the crown of Muslims and the pulse of every free person in the world. He also recommended its people and its oppressed children who were not given the chance to dream and live in peace.

Anas called for not remaining silent about injustice, and for everyone to be bridges towards liberating the land and the people, until the sun of dignity and freedom shines on our usurped land. He recommended his family, especially his daughter Sham and his son Salah.

Anas spoke about his mother, whose prayers were his fortress and the light of his path, and he recommended that they be a support for her. He also mentioned his wife Um Salah, who remained steadfast and patient in his absence.

Anas concluded his will by praying to be accepted among the martyrs, and that his blood be a light illuminating the path to freedom for his people. He asked everyone to pray for him for forgiveness and acceptance, emphasizing not to forget Gaza.

The Israeli army admits to killing journalist Anas Al-Sharif, a correspondent for Al Jazeera in Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army acknowledged on Sunday evening the martyrdom of Anas Al-Sharif, a correspondent for Al Jazeera in the Gaza Strip, in a new attack on journalists.

In an attempt to justify its crime, the occupation army claimed in a statement that Al-Sharif was a cell leader in Hamas and alleged that he was planning rocket launches towards the occupying state.

Earlier on Sunday evening, an Anadolu Agency correspondent reported the deaths of Al Jazeera correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qariqa, as a result of an Israeli bombardment targeting a journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

According to information, an Israeli drone targeted a journalists' tent in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, where several Palestinian journalists were present, including Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qariqa.

Al Jazeera quoted a spokesperson from Al-Shifa Hospital confirming the martyrdom of Al Jazeera correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qariqa due to the Israeli bombardment on their tent, highlighting the dangers faced by journalists in conflict areas.

This attack comes at a time when assaults on journalists in the Gaza Strip are increasing, prompting international calls to protect journalists and ensure their safety while performing their professional duties.

Israeli Broadcast Authority: The Israeli army will deploy all its regular forces to Gaza.

The Hebrew broadcasting authority stated on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army will deploy 'all its regular forces to Gaza' as part of a plan to occupy the entire strip. This step comes within the framework of the ongoing military escalation against the Palestinians.

The authority clarified that the army is working on building a plan to occupy the city of Gaza and needs a week to outline the details. However, the specifics regarding the military plans, including the routes for incursion, have not yet been clarified.

The authority mentioned that the occupation army plans to send all its regular forces to Gaza, while the task of other fronts will be assigned to reserve forces. This approach reflects the occupation's intention to carry out large-scale military operations.

In a related context, the Israeli security cabinet 'kabinett' approved a plan that begins with the occupation of the city of Gaza, by displacing its population of about one million to the south, then surrounding the city and carrying out incursions into residential areas.

The second phase of the plan includes the occupation of refugee camps in central Gaza, which have seen extensive destruction during the ongoing aggression since October 7, 2023.

The opposition and families of Israeli prisoners accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of seeking to prolong the war to ensure the survival of his government. These statements reflect a state of concern among Israelis regarding the political situation.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid from entering, which has exacerbated the humanitarian situation in the strip.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls to stop these violations.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in 61,258 dead and 152,045 injured Palestinians, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and famine that has claimed many lives, including dozens of children.

Britain arrests 532 opponents of the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

The British capital's police announced the arrest of 532 supporters of the 'Action for Palestine' movement during a demonstration in London, where protesters gathered to express their rejection of the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The police stated that the majority of the arrests occurred due to 'carrying a banner in support of a banned organization,' in violation of anti-terrorism laws, making this number of detainees the largest in a single protest in London's history.

The demonstrations witnessed in London were part of a series of global protests calling for an end to the war and starvation against Palestinians, where protesters gathered near the Parliament building and raised banners calling for support for the Action for Palestine movement.

British media reported that about half of the detainees are elderly, with some of them over sixty, reflecting the diversity of participants in these protests.

In its statement, the police confirmed that they would work on gathering the necessary files to prosecute the detainees, who may face penalties of up to 6 months in prison.

The British government had banned the Action for Palestine movement last July, after it claimed responsibility for storming an airbase in protest against British military support for the Israeli war.

Since October 2023, the Israeli occupation army has continued to wage a genocidal war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 61,000 Palestinians and the injury of over 153,000, in addition to the complete displacement of the Strip's population.

Lapid says that the occupation of Gaza means the death of prisoners and the collapse of Israel's economy.

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said on Sunday evening that the government's plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip means "the death of prisoners and soldiers" in the area and "the collapse" of Israel's economy. This was stated in a televised speech that Lapid broadcast on his account on the "X" platform.

Lapid spoke in response to a press conference held by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who announced a plan approved by the security cabinet to occupy the entire Gaza Strip.

Lapid clarified that what Netanyahu proposed means that "prisoners will die, soldiers will die, the economy will collapse, and our international standing will deteriorate."

In the press conference, Netanyahu claimed that "our goal is not to occupy Gaza but to establish a civilian administration in the area that does not follow Hamas or the Palestinian Authority."

In response to Netanyahu's statements, Lapid said: "What we saw this evening was not a press conference, but a tragic scene of a failed Prime Minister who replaced reality with a presentation."

Lapid also warned that expanding the war in Gaza "poses a danger to Israel and its security and is of no benefit."

He suggested that instead, a deal should be made, all prisoners should be released, the war should end, and Egypt should be brought in to manage Gaza.

An emergency session of the United Nations Security Council witnessed international rejection and condemnations on Sunday regarding the occupation's decision to fully occupy Gaza, along with warnings of "serious" repercussions of this decision on the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.

The Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations, James Kariuki, stated that the occupation's decision to occupy Gaza is "an additional bloodshed," calling on Tel Aviv to reverse its decision and lift the restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid.

The Deputy Representative of France to the United Nations, Darmad Hikari, warned of "acute humanitarian impacts" resulting from the occupation's decision, emphasizing that France strongly condemns the occupation's plan to expand its military operations.

The Deputy Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyanskiy, urged the occupation to abandon its plan, describing it as a "serious escalation," warning that forced displacement could constitute crimes against humanity.

The Permanent Representative of Algeria to the United Nations, Amar Ben Jaafer, reiterated his country's rejection of the occupation's decision, pointing out that the killing of 18,000 Palestinian children by the Israeli army is "not enough" on their list of crimes.

The representative of Kuwait expressed deep concern and condemnation of the occupation's decision, stressing the need for urgent measures to stop the aggression and ensure international protection for the Palestinian people.

The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, stated that the occupation seeks to reinforce its control over Gaza to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, calling on the council to act under Chapter VII to stop the genocide.

Japan and South Korea reject Israel's plan to occupy Gaza.

Japan and South Korea announced on Sunday their rejection of the Israeli occupation plan for Gaza, with the Japanese Foreign Ministry expressing concern over the implications of this decision.

In an official statement, Japan confirmed that this decision could exacerbate the already deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling on all parties to return to negotiations and work towards a ceasefire and the release of detainees.

Japan also emphasized its opposition to any actions that could undermine the achievement of a two-state solution, reflecting its commitment to international law and human rights.

For its part, the South Korean Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the Israeli decision, noting that the situation in Gaza is witnessing a worsening humanitarian crisis.

In its statement, South Korea affirmed its support for the two-state solution and its opposition to any actions that hinder its realization, calling for an urgent ceasefire and ensuring the passage of humanitarian aid.

It is worth noting that the Israeli security cabinet, known as the 'kitchen cabinet,' has approved a plan to occupy the city of Gaza, which includes the displacement of its population of about one million people to the south.

Military expert: An impossible mission for Israel to enter Hamas strongholds in Gaza.

The occupying state faces complex military and strategic challenges in its plans to target what it described as the "last" two strongholds of Hamas in the besieged Gaza Strip, amid serious questions about the feasibility of achieving the declared objectives, especially the rescue of prisoners, in light of the absence of safe areas to evacuate more than two million Palestinians.

Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatim Karim Al-Falahi, confirmed that Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding the anticipated military operation reveal an Israeli intention to target the last two sites under the control of resistance factions, namely the central sector that includes the areas of Deir al-Balah, Al-Maghazi, and Al-Bureij, and the city of Gaza.

Al-Falahi pointed out that the expected Israeli options include launching a military operation against these two sites, which would require a comprehensive evacuation of the population, but he warned that this would take a long time due to the presence of more than two million people in these areas.

The military expert explained that the operation could be one-way or two-way, where the 162nd or 36th division could carry out the operation, noting that regular forces would be tasked with this mission.

Regarding Netanyahu's claims about the speed of the anticipated operation, Al-Falahi expressed skepticism about the possibility of achieving that, emphasizing that this depends on the occupying army's ability to achieve its declared objectives, which include completely dismantling Hamas.

Al-Falahi warned of the difficulty and expected ferocity of the operation, pointing out that there is a whole area outside Israeli control that contains a complete infrastructure for resistance factions that has not been affected by previous military operations.

He addressed the issue of prisoners, confirming that the Israeli Chief of Staff previously indicated the necessity of scrapping the goal of reaching the prisoners, due to the significant difficulty in achieving this objective.

The military expert highlighted the biggest challenge represented by the evacuation of the population, explaining that evacuating more than two million people would take a long time, especially with the presence of the elderly and sick.

Al-Falahi noted the absence of a safe area in Gaza capable of accommodating these large numbers, making the situation practically impossible.

He attributed Netanyahu's urgency in this military operation to increasing international and internal pressures on him, prompting him to speak of a swift operation and ending the war despite the enormous challenges.

The Israeli government has approved a gradual plan to completely occupy the Gaza Strip and displace Palestinians from north to south, which will close the doors to negotiations.

Arab and Western countries condemned the plan to reoccupy the Gaza Strip, considering it a dangerous and unacceptable escalation and a violation of international law.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls.

Palestine demands the Security Council to take practical and immediate action to stop the genocide in Gaza.

The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, called on Sunday for the Security Council to take practical and immediate action to stop the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip. Mansour emphasized during his speech at the emergency session of the Security Council the necessity of not being content with feelings of guilt and shame, stressing the importance of immediate action to halt the genocide.

Mansour pointed out that the occupying state seeks to fully occupy the Gaza Strip to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He explained that the Israeli security cabinet, known as the "kabinett," has approved a plan to occupy the city of Gaza, which includes the displacement of its population of about one million to the south, then encircling the city and conducting incursions into residential areas.

Mansour added that the second phase of the plan includes the occupation of refugee camps in central Gaza, which have been largely destroyed as part of the ongoing aggression supported by the United States since October 7, 2023. He noted that more than two million Palestinians in Gaza are suffering unimaginable hardships.

Mansour continued, saying: "We can no longer afford to let them down any further, and we should not be satisfied with feelings of guilt or shame; the Council owes it to act now to stop the genocide." He affirmed that Israel does not care what anyone says, and what matters to it is the ability to turn condemnations into just actions.

He also called on the Security Council to act under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, which allows for the use of force or economic sanctions to enforce decisions. He pointed out that previous attempts by the Council to stop the aggression have been thwarted due to the American veto.

Regarding the plans to occupy Gaza, Mansour stated that the destruction of the Palestinian people and the annihilation of life in Gaza continues, stressing the need for the Council to act to stop this massacre. He confirmed that there is an international plan based on ending the use of starvation as a weapon of war, establishing a ceasefire, and increasing humanitarian aid.

Mansour mentioned that the international conference for a two-state solution, chaired by Saudi Arabia and France, resulted in a declaration that includes concrete steps to achieve the two-state solution, despite the boycott by Washington and Tel Aviv. He affirmed that Israel seeks to strengthen its military control over Gaza and prolong the war to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls. The genocide has resulted in 61,430 Palestinian martyrs and 153,213 injured, most of whom are children and women.

Images of children gathered in Gaza.. Evidence that refutes Netanyahu's claims

Contrary to the claims of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court and denied in a press conference today, Sunday, the genocide and starvation in the Gaza Strip, images continue to emerge from the besieged territory revealing the extent of the tragedy, where children die in their mothers' arms in front of the world.

Reports from international humanitarian organizations and Arab and global media have documented the worsening famine in Gaza due to the Israeli blockade. The Ministry of Health in the Strip stated in its latest report today that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 217 deaths since the beginning of the war, including one hundred children.

In the following image captured by Reuters, nine-year-old Maryam Abdul Aziz Dwaas lies on a bed in a shelter in Gaza City, her bones protruding due to malnutrition. Medical examinations confirmed that Maryam does not suffer from an organic disease but has lost weight due to malnutrition.

In another image, Jana Ayad lies in a hospital in Gaza City suffering from malnutrition amid the absence of necessary treatments due to the blockade. Nisma Ayad holds her daughter Jana's hand in a photo dated July 29.

As for Huda Abu Najah, she is receiving treatment inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, where her mother, Sumaya, explains how her daughter's condition deteriorated due to famine. The photo was taken on August 5.

Two-year-old Sham Qadiha suffers from liver enlargement and severe malnutrition, with her weight dropping to 4 kilograms. Doctors say her condition is critical and she urgently needs to leave the Gaza Strip for treatment abroad.

Last Tuesday (August 5), 15-year-old Tamer Shaheeb died from complications of severe malnutrition. His mother cried as she recounted to reporters how he was withering away before her eyes while she could do nothing to help him.
