Israeli media: Thousands of soldiers have psychological issues and the call to help Gaza's children is Madonna's gift to her son.

Israeli media discussed the shortage of the army's personnel and equipment, as more than 50,000 soldiers have sought psychological help. Military affairs correspondent Nir Dvori from Channel 12 pointed to the significant gaps the army is facing, primarily the shortage of soldiers, with 10,000 soldiers available, including 7,000 combatants and 3,000 support personnel.

The correspondent also noted gaps in the operational readiness of tanks and armored vehicles, in addition to a shortage of spare parts. He explained that there is a ban on arms exports, making it difficult to operate everything at full capacity after 22 months of fighting.

According to Channel 12, the prolonged war in the besieged Gaza Strip has resulted in injuries to more than 18,900 soldiers and security personnel, of whom 10,000 are facing psychological issues. More than 50,000 soldiers in regular and reserve forces sought help from the "Eran" committee for psychological services last year.

Statistics show that the most common cases are feelings of isolation, followed by recurrent depression and psychological crises. Others have turned to the committee due to trauma and personal relationship problems.

In terms of employment, reserve soldiers are the ones paying the price, as one-third of soldiers and their spouses reported being affected and referred to unpaid leave or being fired from their jobs. The channel reported that 72% of freelancers said their work situation has deteriorated.

In a related context, Channel 12 reported that the anti-Israel campaign is escalating, with Paris becoming more aggressive towards Israel, starting from damaging El Al's offices to an air traffic controller calling for the liberation of Palestine.

Reports indicate that there is a diplomatic tsunami wave against Israel, joined by celebrities like Madonna and the band "U2." Madonna wrote a post calling on the Pope to go to Gaza to help children facing the risk of famine.

The band "U2" also issued a joint statement through their official website, expressing their shock at what is happening in Gaza and directing severe criticism at the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu: We will allow the residents of Gaza to emigrate abroad during and after the battles.

The Israeli occupation government’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that residents of the Gaza Strip wishing to leave the territory will be allowed to emigrate abroad during and after the fighting. This announcement comes at a time when the genocide against Palestinians has been ongoing for 22 months.

During an interview with the Hebrew channel 'i24', Netanyahu mentioned that his government is in contact with countries that could host the people of Gaza, but he refused to disclose the names of these countries. He confirmed that the step includes allowing civilians to leave the combat zones within Gaza first and then leave the territory.

Netanyahu pointed out that millions of people left Syria due to the war, as well as in Ukraine and Afghanistan, questioning: 'Why should Gaza be closed?'. The Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip for 18 years has displaced about 1.5 million Palestinians out of approximately 2.4 million.

Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel is in talks with other countries to receive Palestinians from Gaza, as the Associated Press reported that Israel is discussing with South Sudan the possibility of 'transferring' Gaza Palestinians there.

The occupation adopts former U.S. President Donald Trump's plan for the forced displacement of Palestinians, but faces widespread Arab, Islamic, and international rejection due to its violation of international and humanitarian law.

For decades, the occupying state has occupied Palestine and lands in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw from them or establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the borders prior to the 1967 war.

In the interview, Netanyahu spoke about his connection to what he called the 'Greater Israel Vision', which relies on expansion and the occupation of more Arab lands and the displacement of Palestinians.

When asked if he feels he is 'on a mission on behalf of the Jewish people', Netanyahu replied that he is on a mission of generations, affirming his strong connection to the Greater Israel Vision, which includes the occupied Palestinian territories and parts of Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt.

Gaza Health: The toll of the Israeli aggression has reached 61,722 dead

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 61,722 dead and 154,525 injured. This statement was made in the ministry's daily statistical report.

In the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 123 dead and 437 new injuries, reflecting the ongoing escalation and aggression against civilians in the besieged enclave.

Since the resumption of Israeli aggression on March 18, 2023, the death toll has risen to 10,201 dead and 42,484 injuries, indicating the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by the Palestinians.

The ministry also reported that the death toll among those waiting for aid has risen since May 27, 2023, to 1,859 dead and more than 13,594 injuries, following the killing of 21 Palestinians and the injury of 185 in the past 24 hours.

It is noteworthy that Israel has been implementing a plan for distributing aid since May 27, which Palestinians describe as 'death traps.' This plan is supported by Israel and the United States but rejected by the international community.

The Ministry of Health also reported the death of 8 Palestinians in the past 24 hours due to complications from famine and malnutrition, including 3 children, raising the total number of famine victims to 235 dead, among them 106 children.

The ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, which is supported by the United States, includes genocide involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop these actions.

In addition to the dead and injured, there are more than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, further complicating the humanitarian situation in the besieged Gaza Strip.

British Council Palestine Marks the Successful Completion of the Get Speaking Programme

The British Council, in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education and UNRWA, has concluded the Get Speaking programme in Palestine, an initiative designed to strengthen English language teaching by building teachers’ confidence and ability to teach speaking skills more effectively, even in a complex operating environment.
Since its launch in 2022, the programme has supported more than 1,000 English teachers across different schools. According to the final Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning report, the percentage of teachers rating their own English speaking skills as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ rose by over 16% by the end of the programme. Confidence has also grown significantly, with 83% of teachers feeling more confident speaking English and 95% reporting increased confidence in teaching speaking skills in their classrooms.
Teachers also noted an increased use of English as the main language of instruction, helping to create more immersive learning environments for students. By the final stage, 93% of teachers said they used English frequently in their lessons, compared to 75% before the programme began. The initiative also fostered stronger connections between teachers, with 93% regularly sharing ideas and best practices with colleagues through live sessions and collaborative activities.

Shahida MacDougall, British Council Country Director in Palestine said:
“We are incredibly proud of what the Get Speaking programme has achieved in partnership with the Ministry of Education and UNRWA. Supporting over a thousand teachers to build their skills and confidence has already made a clear difference in classrooms across Palestine. By the end of the programme, more teachers were using English regularly as the main language of instruction, creating more immersive learning environments for their students. It is especially encouraging to see 83 per cent of teachers now feel more confident speaking English and 95 per cent feel more confident teaching speaking skills. These results show how investing in teachers directly strengthens learning outcomes and opens up new opportunities for young people.”
Muaweyah Amar, Chief Field Education Programme- UNRWA said:
“Get Speaking program provided UNRWA English language teachers with a great opportunity to transform their classroom practices, to be more interactive and encouraged school-aged children to develop their critical thinking approach. UNRWA teachers engaged actively in this programme over 3 years with all of challenges and barriers facing them due to huge external threats and they have succeeded to make a difference in teaching and learning English language at school level”.
The Get Speaking programme was del”vere’ through the British Council’s English for Teaching course, combining self-paced online study with live sessions, discussion forums, practical assignments and peer support. This blended approach gave teachers practical strategies to encourage student participation and boost learners’ confidence in speaking English.
The British Council remains committed to supporting teachers’ professional growth and will use the lessons learned through Get Speaking to inform future training and development opportunities for English teachers in Palestine.

United Nations experts express their dismay at the ongoing targeting of the healthcare system in Gaza by the occupation.

United Nations experts expressed their dismay today at the targeted destruction of the healthcare system in Gaza by Israeli occupation forces, considering this destruction to be a form of "medical genocide." The experts accused the occupation of deliberately attacking and starving healthcare workers, paramedics, and hospitals, with the aim of eliminating medical care in the besieged territory.

The Special Rapporteur on the right to health, Taling Mofokeng, and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory since 1967, Francesca Albanese, stated that as UN experts, they cannot remain silent regarding the crimes being committed in Gaza. They affirmed that what is happening is ongoing genocide and medical extermination, contributing to the creation of deliberate conditions for the destruction of Palestinians.

The experts warned that the apartheid system targeting Palestinians in the occupied territory and the ongoing attacks on the healthcare system in Gaza are exhausting the last remaining resources in the besieged and devastated sector. They noted that healthcare workers have been subjected to detention and torture, and are now, like the rest of the population, starving.

The United Nations also reported that healthcare workers have fainted due to food shortages, hindering their ability to perform their duties and endangering the care and necessary treatment conditions for their patients. The experts emphasized that ignoring the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza shows that Palestinian lives are worthless.

They called on the international community to end the massacre and allow the people of Gaza to live with dignity, free from occupation and apartheid. They stressed that the failure of states to fulfill this duty imposes a heavy price on the besieged Palestinians in Gaza.

In conclusion, they called for a ceasefire as a first step towards holding the Israeli occupation accountable, to save what remains of the healthcare system in Gaza and prevent the extermination of its population.

Dozens of settlers storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police.

Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday, under heavy protection from the occupation police. This incursion comes at a sensitive time as tensions in the region are escalating.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem stated in a statement that the incursion included settlers conducting suspicious tours in the courtyards of the sanctuary, in addition to performing provocative Talmudic rituals, which heightened tensions between Palestinian worshippers and settlers.

The statement added that the occupation police secured the settlers' incursions while simultaneously preventing Palestinian worshippers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque through its various external gates, reflecting the occupation's policy of tightening restrictions on Palestinians.

This incursion coincides with an increase in assaults on Islamic holy sites, as Al-Aqsa Mosque is considered an important symbol for Palestinians and forms an essential part of their religious and cultural identity.

It is worth noting that these incursions are part of the occupation's policy aimed at changing the status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque, raising concerns among Palestinians and the international community.

These assaults continue amid international silence, reflecting the inability to protect Palestinian rights and Islamic holy sites.

The Israeli occupation's airstrikes have claimed more martyrs on a new day of genocide in the Gaza Strip, where 29 Palestinians have been killed since dawn on Wednesday. These airstrikes come at a time when the suffering of Palestinians in the besieged enclave is increasing.

A source at the Baptist Hospital confirmed the martyrdom of 12 Palestinians in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. This strike adds to a series of assaults targeting civilians, resulting in more martyrs.

The occupation army committed a massacre against the Abu Hanidq family, where 7 of its members were killed, including 5 children and a woman. This bombardment targeted tents sheltering them in Tal al-Hawa, south of Gaza City, reflecting the scale of the atrocities committed by the occupation.

The Al-Awda Hospital also confirmed the death of 5 Palestinians and the injury of 10 others in the Israeli occupation's targeting of aid seekers in the central Gaza Strip. These assaults reflect the occupation's disregard for human rights and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions.

The Nasser Medical Complex documented the martyrdom of several Palestinians and the injury of others by the fire of occupation forces near aid centers in Rafah, southern Gaza. These events highlight the catastrophic situation faced by Palestinians in the enclave.

Reporters have noted airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire from Israeli helicopters on the center and north of Khan Younis in the southern sector. These military operations come with American support, complicating the humanitarian situation further.

The Israeli army approves the "central idea" of the plan to occupy Gaza.

The Chief of Staff of the occupying army, Ayal Zamir, approved on Wednesday the "central idea" of the plan to occupy the Gaza Strip, which includes attacks on the Zaitoun area south of Gaza City. This came during a meeting that included leaders from the General Staff and the "Shabak" security agency, along with other commanders.

According to a statement published by the spokesperson for the occupying army, Avichai Adraee, the meeting reviewed what he described as the "achievements" of his forces, including the ongoing aggression against the Zaitoun neighborhood east of the city, which began on Tuesday.

Adraee noted that the plan adopted by Zamir comes in accordance with directives from the political level, indicating coordination between the army and the government in executing these aggressive operations.

He also mentioned that the Chief of Staff directed to raise the readiness of the forces and prepare to call up reserve troops, in addition to conducting field exercises, indicating the occupying army's readiness for further escalation in the coming days.

These developments come at a sensitive time, as the aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip continues, increasing the suffering of civilians and emphasizing the urgent need for international intervention to stop these violations.

A lawsuit before the ICC accuses "Israel" of committing crimes against journalists in Gaza.

Two human rights organizations have filed a joint lawsuit before the International Criminal Court, accusing the Israeli occupying state of the systematic targeting of journalists in the besieged Gaza Strip. This lawsuit follows the assassination of reporter Anas Al-Sharif and four of his colleagues, reflecting the escalation of attacks on journalists in the region.

According to available information, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights in Gaza and the Hind Rjab Human Rights Foundation, based in Brussels, have submitted the lawsuit to the International Criminal Court, where the organizations confirmed that the recent Israeli attack represents much more than just another tragedy in a conflict characterized by violence against journalists.

The organizations noted that 242 journalists have been martyred since the beginning of the war, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists, indicating the scale of violations faced by journalists in the Palestinian territories. They affirmed that these incidents are not isolated events, but rather part of a broader campaign against the press.

In the submitted lawsuit, the organizations called for the issuance of arrest warrants against specific Israeli military officials, while expanding the current International Criminal Court warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to include crimes against journalists.

Diab Abu Jahja, head of the Hind Rjab Human Rights Foundation, pointed out that the case is not a symbolic lawsuit, but reflects a tragic reality, considering that the assassination of Al-Sharif was a brutal and arrogant act. This statement reflects the frustration and anger over the escalation of attacks on journalists.

Amnesty International condemned in the strongest terms what it described as the "deliberate killing" committed by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian journalists, following an airstrike that targeted their media tent in the occupied city of Gaza.

Journalist Anas Al-Sharif and several of his colleagues were martyred during this airstrike, where the six targeted journalists represented the voice of Gaza in the face of siege and destruction, continuing their field coverage despite direct threats of death.

Israeli Defense Minister sticks to his position on appointments in an unprecedented dispute in Israel.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he bears responsibility for approving appointments in the army from the rank of colonel and above, emphasizing the necessity of following the correct procedures in this regard. His statements came amid an unprecedented dispute with Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, centered around new appointments among senior officers.

Katz criticized attempts to change procedures by listening to advice from consultants he considers hostile to the government, indicating that these attempts will not succeed. He affirmed that he will continue to direct the army according to a clear offensive policy, especially after the attack that occurred on October 7.

Katz clarified that he is responsible for approving appointments after a recommendation from the Chief of Staff, noting the need for close monitoring of the army. He also confirmed that the damage inflicted on army officers due to the policy of listening to advice hostile to the government is negative and regrettable.

According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, Katz refused to approve the list of appointments prepared by the Chief of Staff, preventing the latter from entering his office despite a scheduled meeting between them. Despite this refusal, the army published a list of appointments for the rank of brigadier general without the signature of the Defense Minister.

Military leaders accused the political leadership, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of being behind the obstruction of appointments, considering that this is part of the pressure on the military institution to proceed with the plan to occupy the city of Gaza.

Military sources described what is happening as political extortion of the army during the war, indicating that this crisis undermines the harmony between the political and military leadership at a sensitive moment both on the ground and strategically.

Commenting on the dispute between Katz and Zamir, leader of the Democratic Party Yair Golan said that Netanyahu demands personal loyalty before the security of Israel, wanting a Chief of Staff who harms security and implements illusory plans.

Golan considered that harming the Chief of Staff harms the security of Israel, affirming that decades of courageous service by the Chief of Staff cannot be traded for the whims of Netanyahu, his family, and his partners.

Earlier, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized the current situation, noting that the appointment of officers in the army does not occur without leaks, brawls, and defamation, describing Netanyahu's government as crazy.

Australia: Israeli Starvation in Gaza is a War Crime

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that the starvation policy practiced by Israel against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip is considered a war crime. This came during an interview with Australian ABC News, where he expressed his deep concern over the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Albanese explained that the restrictions imposed on the flow of humanitarian aid since March have led to a real humanitarian catastrophe, pointing out that the loss of lives due to the genocide being committed by Israel is absolutely unacceptable.

He added that Israel's actions are unjustifiable, and that there is immense suffering experienced by the people in Gaza, who are suffering from hunger and loss of life. He noted that many people are being killed while trying to obtain food and water, which is completely unacceptable.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli starvation since October 7, 2023, has risen to 227 Palestinians, including 103 children, after five people died within 24 hours.

Albanese also indicated that Australia will recognize the State of Palestine during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meetings in September, reflecting a shift in Australian policy towards the Palestinian issue.

Since October 7, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop these actions.

The Israeli genocide has resulted in the deaths of 61,599 Palestinians and 154,088 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, leading to a famine that has claimed the lives of 227 people, including 103 children.

Israel and the Temporary Defeat: The Battle of Symbolism Before the Battlefield

Ibrahim Nairat

Ibrahim Nairat

Opinion Writer

Since its declaration of independence in 1948, Israel has been keen to build its military narrative around the idea of absolute superiority, creating a mythical image of its army as an invincible force, not only internally to convince its citizens of their safety, but also as a regional deterrent against all those who confront it. In confronting the Palestinians, this sensitivity to any moment of defeat, even if brief, is even more evident. The Israeli military establishment considers any Palestinian success, even temporary, to constitute a threat not only on the battlefield, but also symbolically and psychologically.

In the consciousness of the Israeli military, a symbolic defeat is often more dangerous than a defeat on the battlefield, as it threatens the prestige the state has sought to establish for decades. Any qualitative Palestinian operation, however limited, can be viewed in the media and on the Arab and Palestinian street as a symbolic victory that weakens the army's image and threatens the deterrence upon which Israel builds its strategy in the region. Therefore, the policy of immediate and intense response is pursued, aiming not only to neutralize the battlefield threat, but also to erase any trace of the temporary victory from the public consciousness. This policy has been evident in several recent rounds of escalation. In the 2021 Gaza War, scenes of rocket fire on Tel Aviv undermined Israel's deterrence. A large-scale military response was accompanied by a media campaign emphasizing that the army had regained control and that the bombing was a response to terrorism. In the 2023 Jenin Camp battle, the resistance attempted to impose a prolonged engagement within the camp, but faced swift action from Israeli special forces and tanks to end the battle, despite the human and field costs. This was aimed at preventing any appearance of Palestinians in a position of strength. October 7, 2023, was a turning point, when the resistance seized control of areas within the border for hours, exposing the fragility of Israel's strategies and forcing the government to declare an all-out war, not only to reclaim territory but also to reassert the army's image as invincible. This has not only a field dimension, but also a psychological and political dimension. Israel realizes that any symbolic defeat threatens regional deterrence, encourages other powers to test their capabilities, affects the internal morale of a security-sensitive society, and gives the Palestinians a political and moral boost in international forums. In this context, the current negotiations appear pointless unless Israel first achieves this goal—that is, establishing itself as the victor on the ground and in the public consciousness—because any discussion or agreement will be unviable if the Palestinians appear to have imposed their will, even temporarily. Accordingly, it can be said that Israel is fighting a symbolic defeat before a real one, realizing that modern wars are not just battles of tanks and missiles, but rather battles of images, headlines, and public emotions. Any scene that portrays the Palestinians as the initiator faces a fierce military and media response to maintain the myth of superiority in the minds of Palestinians—a condition Israel sees as essential for any successful negotiations or the restoration of political control.

Maduro: The United Nations is powerless to stop Israel's massacres in Gaza.

The Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, stated that the United Nations is unable to stop the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, pointing out that the international organization has suffered a fatal wound. This came during a television interview, where Maduro confirmed that the Palestinian people are facing massacres and genocide at the hands of the occupation.

Maduro added that the bombs and missiles launched by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fall on the desk of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, reflecting the international community's inability to protect the Palestinians. He noted that the International Court of Justice is also powerless in the face of these massacres.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli starvation since October 7, 2023, has risen to 227 Palestinians, including 103 children, after the death of 5 individuals, including two children, within 24 hours. These figures reflect the catastrophic situation that Palestinians in the sector are experiencing.

Maduro also pointed out that the occupation has assassinated 6 journalists, including 4 from Al Jazeera, by bombing their tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, which increases the suffering of journalists working in dangerous conditions. With the assassination of these journalists, the number of media personnel killed by Israel since the beginning of the genocide has risen to 238.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop these violations. This genocide has resulted in 61,599 dead and 154,088 injured Palestinians, in addition to more than 9,000 missing.

These conditions require urgent action from the international community to save the Palestinian people.

The Washington report on human rights ignores the crimes of deliberate Israeli genocide and starvation.

After leaked drafts revealed the Trump administration's plans to downplay human rights violations in certain allied countries, including Israel, the U.S. State Department released the final version of its annual report on Tuesday, sparking a new wave of condemnation.

It was noted that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, contrary to previous traditions, did not provide a written introduction to the report or disclose its publication to reporters, nor did he make any comments on it.

The section of the report concerning Israel - the occupied Palestinian territories, and Gaza consists of only nine pages. This brevity caught the attention of various media outlets, being significantly shorter than last year's version compiled during the Biden administration, and it did not include any mention of the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation authorities have killed more than 61,000 Palestinians in Gaza, according to local officials, although experts warn that the actual death toll is likely much higher, with most being children and women. The report did not mention the famine in Gaza due to Israel's blockade on aid, which has led to the starvation deaths of more than 200 people, including 103 children.

The U.S. report on Israel does not mention the genocide case Israel faces at the International Court of Justice regarding its attack on Gaza, nor the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The section dedicated to war crimes and genocide is limited to stating that "the terrorist organizations, Hamas and Hezbollah, continue to indiscriminately target Israeli civilians, in violation of the law of armed conflict."

While the world mourns the killing of six more Palestinian journalists in Gaza this week - prompting the United Nations Security Council to hold an emergency meeting - the section of the report concerning press freedom is also brief and does not mention the hundreds of journalists who have been killed in Israel's genocide of the enclave.

The release of the report was delayed for months due to Trump appointees radically altering a previous draft from the State Department to align it with "America First" values, according to government officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce explained these changes during a briefing on Tuesday, stating that the reports focusing on 2024 "remove redundancy, increase readability, and respond to the legislative mandates on which the report is based, rather than an expanded list of politically biased demands and claims."

It is noted that in previous editions of the report concerning Israel and the occupied West Bank, and Gaza - including those compiled during Trump's first term - claims and figures from United Nations organizations and human rights groups regarding alleged violations were included, although they were almost entirely omitted in the 2024 report. Concerns about Israel's violations of rights were kept general, and there was no mention at all of settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, which has largely gone unchecked and has even resulted in the deaths of several American Palestinian citizens. No mention was made of any Palestinian attacks against Israelis - aside from those related to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2025.

It was also noted that the 2024 U.S. State Department report on human rights practices in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza overlooks some of the most serious human rights violations committed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, undermining the annual report's value and credibility.

According to experts, Secretary of State Marco Rubio reviewed the State Department reports for one main purpose, aimed at whitewashing Israel's crimes, including the horrific genocide and starvation in Gaza. Shockingly, the report does not include a word about the compelling evidence of genocide, mass starvation, and the deliberate bombing of civilians in Gaza."

Experts believe that Rubio has challenged the text and purpose of U.S. laws that require the State Department to report truthfully and comprehensively on human rights violations in every country, instead providing a soothing cover for those committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

The occupation storms villages in the West Bank, and settlers target a family in the Jordan Valley.

This morning, Wednesday, the occupation forces stormed the town of Anabta east of Tulkarm, just hours after incursions in the village of Luban south of Nablus and Meithalon south of Jenin in the West Bank. These incursions come as part of the ongoing aggression against Palestinian cities, where Anabta has witnessed repeated incursions by the occupation forces.

In detail, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Ain camp in Nablus and the town of Kafr Deek in Salfit, where they arrested the brothers Zahi and Amr Ibrahim Deek. The home of the Naeem Salman family in the town of Bruqin was vandalized, with its contents tampered with and the family detained and interrogated on-site.

In the town of Anabta, the occupation forces entered from the eastern side, patrolling the streets and alleys, raiding and searching several homes, which led to the destruction of their contents. The occupation forces also detained a number of young men and checked their identities without any reported arrests.

In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the village of Eastern Luban with several vehicles, where they stationed themselves in the Bayader neighborhood and searched and detained several citizen vehicles. The occupation forces continue to tighten their military measures on Eastern Luban, which is subjected to daily incursions.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Meithalon south of Jenin, where they spread at its eastern entrance and around several residential buildings. The occupation forces have intensified their incursions into towns and villages in the Jenin governorate since the beginning of their aggression against the city and its camp.

In another incident, settlers assaulted the family of citizen Shamkh Daraghmeh in the Farisiya area of the northern Jordan Valley, resulting in injuries to his son Mustafa after he was struck with a metal object. A number of settlers also attacked Palestinian vehicles northwest of Jericho.

According to local sources, the settlers threw stones at passing vehicles on the Ma'arjat road, resulting in the shattering of glass in several of them, and they also blocked the road, disrupting traffic.

These assaults coincide with the genocide in the Gaza Strip, where 1,013 Palestinians have been martyred and about 7,000 others injured by the fire of the occupation and the assaults of its settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. More than 18,500 Palestinians have also been arrested.

According to a report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 466 assaults against Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank during July, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 citizens and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities consisting of 50 Palestinian families.

Egypt resumes efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and begins "preliminary" talks.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Aty, announced the resumption of Cairo's efforts in coordination with Qatar and the United States to revive the proposal for a "sixty-day truce" between the Palestinian resistance and the occupying state, amid stalled negotiations for a ceasefire in the besieged Gaza Strip.

During a press conference in Cairo, Abdel Aty clarified that the goal is to return to the "initial proposal," which stipulates a two-month ceasefire, interspersed with the release of a number of Israeli prisoners in exchange for the release of Palestinian detainees, in addition to allowing humanitarian and medical aid into the Gaza Strip without obstacles or conditions.

In a statement, Hamas indicated that a leadership delegation headed by Khalil al-Hayya arrived in Cairo at Egypt's invitation to hold talks with Egyptian officials regarding the latest developments related to the genocide in Gaza and the situation in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Hamas leader Taher al-Nounou, who is in Cairo, noted that the delegation has begun preliminary discussions for meetings that will start on Wednesday, focusing on ways to stop the aggression on the Gaza Strip, facilitate aid delivery, and end the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, as well as addressing internal Palestinian relations to reach national agreements.

The occupying authorities estimate that there are about 50 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, including 20 who are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are held in the occupation's prisons, amid human rights and media reports documenting their exposure to torture and medical neglect, leading to the deaths of many of them.

The proposal, which was the focus of an indirect negotiation round in Doha between Hamas and the occupying state, ended on July 24 without an agreement. It included the release of 10 living Israeli prisoners in two phases and the return of the remains of 18 others in three phases, in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners and an increase in the volume of humanitarian aid to the besieged sector.

Despite this, the occupation withdrew from the negotiations due to its refusal to withdraw from Gaza and stop the aggression, in addition to disagreements over the prisoners' file and the mechanism for distributing aid.

In a related context, diplomatic sources reported that a Hamas delegation headed by Khalil al-Hayya arrived in Egypt as part of intensive Egyptian efforts to establish a two-month truce, amid divisions within the Israeli negotiating team regarding the feasibility of progressing towards an agreement for prisoner exchange and a ceasefire.

Sources expect that mediators will increase pressure on both sides in the coming days, while Egypt and Qatar mediate in the negotiations with American support.

For its part, Hamas confirms its readiness to release Israeli prisoners all at once, in exchange for ending the war, the withdrawal of the occupying army from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

In contrast, opponents and families of prisoners accuse the head of the occupying government, Benjamin Netanyahu, of seeking partial deals to prolong the war and ensure his stay in power, fearing the collapse of his coalition if the more extreme wing opposed to stopping the war withdraws from it.

Netanyahu faces trial on corruption charges that could lead to his imprisonment if convicted, while the International Criminal Court demands his arrest on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, with American support, the Israeli occupation continues to commit what international organizations describe as genocide in the sector, through killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring orders from the International Court of Justice to stop it.

These crimes have resulted in the martyrdom of 61,599 Palestinians and the injury of 154,088 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, while famine has claimed the lives of 227 people, including 103 children.

The Israeli occupation has been occupying Palestinian territories and parts of Syria and Lebanon for decades, refusing to withdraw from them or allow the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

When Gaza's food basket turns into extended tents for the displaced.

Adel Al-Jabali, displaced from the city of Rafah, never thought that the day he left his home would carry seeds in his pocket instead of keys. The day of departure was heavy, dust filled the sky, and the sound of shelling followed him even as he crossed the crowded streets. He took with him his memories and his nine family members, leaving behind a small garden that filled their home with the scent of mint and fresh tomatoes.

In the new displacement camp in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, Adel stood in front of a barren piece of land, surrounded by tents on all sides, wondering, "Can life return here, even with a single vegetable seed?" From the first day, he decided to start from scratch. He had no agricultural tools or enough seeds, but his will was present.

He collected empty aid boxes and filled them with soil, planting what remained of the dry seeds he had kept before. He knew it was a gamble, but his sense of responsibility towards his children pushed him to continue. Amid the tents, green seedlings of okra and arugula sprouted, planted by a Palestinian displaced person.

The area was not large, only 70 meters around the tent, but over time it transformed into a small green patch amidst the white desert of stretched fabric. He planted molokhia, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, green peppers, and even some corn, arugula, and parsley.

Securing seeds was another dilemma. The markets were nearly empty, and what was available was sold at prices beyond his means. He resorted to drying some ripe vegetables to obtain their seeds. He recycled plastic bottles and tin cans to make small pots that could be easily transported if he had to flee again.

He also planted flowers and cacti, their bright colors wiping away some of the sadness from the faces of the children passing by. Even his wife, who had been suffering from depression since they lost their home, found in this green spot something resembling therapy.

Water was another challenge; after the networks were destroyed, Adel had to walk long distances carrying buckets to water his plants, sometimes mixing vegetable wash water with rainwater. As for fertilizers, they were a distant dream, as their absence delayed the ripening of the fruits and made the harvest of lower quality.

However, he feels that this small garden is not just a source of food, but a message of resilience saying that a Palestinian can grow life even in the heart of destruction. The scene in the west of the Gaza Strip was different before the war. Fields of tomatoes, cucumbers, and potatoes stretched to the horizon, and greenhouses reflected sunlight over lush plants.

But today, thousands of tents have replaced them, extending like a vast fabric city, covering what remains of the green. The war of extermination systematically devoured agriculture. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), only 4.6% of the Gaza Strip's land was arable last March, while more than 90% of the areas were out of service.

The displacement of hundreds of thousands to these lands caused them to lose their function as the food basket for the region. With the halt of production, vegetable prices in the markets soared to unprecedented levels, making the purchase of a kilogram of tomatoes or cucumbers a luxury that most residents could not afford.

On a gray morning, Hossam Al-Buhaysi (37 years old) set out on a quest for cheap vegetables. He thought that the greenhouses in the Mawasi area of southern Gaza were still producing what could sustain his family, but the reality was shocking. When he arrived, he found himself in front of a sea of displaced persons' tents.

The greenhouses he had frequented for years were destroyed by the occupation or neglected until they became lifeless structures. Al-Buhaysi stood in shock, remembering the days when he would enter these greenhouses, smell the fresh tomatoes, and buy what he needed at a reasonable price.

Now, he found nothing but white fabrics fluttering in the air and children playing on land that was once fertile. He says, "I came to check on the greenhouses, and suddenly I found a country without crops; the occupation destroyed the majority of the agriculture, and instead of fertile land, I found people and tents."

In a small tent in the southern sector, farmer Mahmoud Hijazi, who owned 5 acres of tomatoes in modern greenhouses near the Mawasi area of Rafah, speaks in a hoarse voice about the day the Israeli bulldozers came and leveled everything to the ground.

His project, built over decades of effort, collapsed. He stored in his tent

A source in the Palestinian presidency demands Samir Halila to "stop spreading lies."

A source in the Palestinian presidency urged businessman Samir Halila on Tuesday to "stop spreading lies," referring to his statements about what Hebrew media reported regarding efforts to appoint him as the governor of the Gaza Strip. These statements come at a sensitive time when the Palestinian cause is witnessing rapid developments.

Halila confirmed to the Palestinian radio station "Ajeel" the accuracy of what the Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported about his name being proposed as "governor" of the Gaza Strip by an Israeli lobbying group operating in the United States. He claimed that he received this offer months ago from a Canadian contractor working with the U.S. administration.

A responsible source in the Palestinian presidency stated that "the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Palestinian state, and its administration is the responsibility of the Palestinian National Authority and the Palestinian government alone." He emphasized the rejection of any attempts to separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank within what he described as "the Israeli project."

The source condemned Halila's statements, which he considered "a circumvention of the official position of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority," demanding that he "stop spreading lies and covering up his disgraceful position that places him under responsibility."

In a related context, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with the American network "Fox News" that he would reoccupy the Gaza Strip, claiming that he would hand it over after "taking control" to "civilian rule" free from the influence of Hamas.

Samir Halila is a Palestinian businessman and politician, born on May 11, 1957, in the city of Jericho in the eastern West Bank. He has held several positions, including Secretary-General of Ahmed Qurei's government and Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Trade.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop. This genocide has resulted in a massive number of martyrs and injured.

Guterres: Reliable information on the commission of "sexual violations" by Israeli forces

An annual report from the United Nations has shown that Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed concerns about sexual violations committed by Israeli occupation forces. This report was submitted to the United Nations Security Council, where Guterres warned of the possibility of including Israel among the parties suspected of committing patterns of rape or other forms of sexual violence.

The report highlights specific patterns of sexual violence, including crimes related to the torture of Palestinian prisoners. The United Nations has documented cases that include the mutilation of prisoners' genitalia, prolonged exposure, and humiliating searches.

In a related context, UN experts confirmed that the occupying state has committed acts of genocide against Palestinians and has used sexual violence as a strategy in its aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. These statements come at a sensitive time as violations against Palestinians are increasing.

Bassem Naeem, a leader in Hamas, strongly denied the allegations against the movement in the report, considering them attempts to distort the facts and divert attention from the crimes committed by the occupying government and its army against the Palestinian people.

Guterres expressed his deep concern regarding credible information about violations committed by the Israeli occupation army against Palestinians in several prisons and detention centers. He noted that cases of sexual violence include violence directed at genitalia and forced exposure.

Despite ongoing communication between Israeli authorities and Guterres' special envoy regarding sexual violence, the information provided about accountability measures was limited, raising questions about the seriousness of the occupation in addressing these violations.

The report does not only address violations by the Israeli occupation but also discusses violations by Russian forces in Ukraine, reflecting the widespread nature of sexual violence in armed conflicts around the world.

Trump administration softens its human rights criticisms of Israel and friendly countries.

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump made significant changes to the 2024 Human Rights Report, notably easing its criticisms of certain allied countries such as Israel and El Salvador. This trend reflects the 'America First' policy adopted by the administration, affecting how human rights issues are addressed globally.

In the report, the U.S. State Department issued warnings about the decline of freedom of expression in Europe, while ramping up its criticisms of Brazil and South Africa. However, it seems that any criticism of governments regarding their treatment of LGBTQ+ rights has been largely omitted, raising questions about the administration's commitment to human rights.

The report briefly addressed Israel, failing to mention the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza or the number of martyrs there. This trend reflects a change in how the administration deals with human rights issues in the occupied territories, indicating a waning interest in Palestinian suffering.

Regarding El Salvador, the report stated that 'there were no reliable reports of serious human rights violations,' which starkly contrasts with the 2023 report that highlighted significant issues in this area. This change reflects the growing relations between Washington and El Salvador under the Trump administration.

The Trump administration has abandoned the traditional approach to promoting democracy and human rights, viewing it as interference in the affairs of other countries. However, the administration continues to selectively criticize certain countries, highlighting a double standard in its policy.

This year's report was prepared after a comprehensive overhaul of the department, which included the dismissal of hundreds of individuals from the Office of Democracy and Human Rights. This change reflects the administration's desire to realign its policies with its own values.

In a previous op-ed, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that the Office of Democracy and Human Rights had become a platform for 'leftist activists,' illustrating the new direction of the administration in addressing human rights issues.

Colonizers assault citizens in the northern Jordan Valley.

In a new incident of settler assaults, the family of citizen Shamkh Draghamah in the Farsiya area of the northern Jordan Valley was attacked by a group of settlers. About ten settlers stormed the family's tents in the middle of the night.

According to testimonies from citizen Draghamah, the settlers assaulted his children while they were sleeping, causing a state of terror and fear among the family members. This incident is not the first of its kind, as the Farsiya area witnesses repeated assaults by settlers.

These assaults occur under the protection of the occupation army, which often ignores or fails to intervene to protect Palestinian citizens. These actions reflect the occupation's policy of reinforcing the presence of settlers at the expense of Palestinian rights.

Complaints from citizens in the northern Jordan Valley about repeated assaults are increasing, necessitating intervention from the relevant authorities to protect civilians. The continuation of these assaults threatens security and stability in the region.

Citizens in the northern Jordan Valley emphasize the need for effective measures by the international community to stop these violations and protect their rights. The ongoing assaults reflect a painful reality that Palestinians live under occupation.

677 days of genocide in Gaza.. The occupation continues the massacres amid a suffocating famine.

The Israeli occupation forces, with American political and military support, continue their genocide against the Gaza Strip for the 677th day, through air and artillery bombardment, targeting civilians who are starving and displaced, amidst unprecedented international silence and betrayal from the international community.

Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported the martyrdom of several citizens due to the fire of the occupation army since dawn today in various areas of the strip. Four citizens were killed and others were injured while waiting for aid near Kissufim east of Deir al-Balah.

Occupation aircraft also targeted a house in the center of Khan Younis, demolishing residential buildings in the vicinity of the Al-Amal neighborhood in the northwestern part of the city, exacerbating the suffering of residents living in harsh conditions.

According to the Ministry of Health, the war has so far resulted in the death of 61,599 Palestinians, the injury of 154,088 others, and more than 10,000 missing, alongside a famine that has claimed dozens of lives, while more than two million Palestinians live in forced displacement.

Among the martyrs, there are 10,078 dead and 42,047 injuries since the occupation reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025. The number of dead since the occupation turned aid distribution points into killing traps on May 27 has reached 1,838 dead.

The number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 227 dead, including 103 children. The occupation has also killed 1,590 medical personnel, 115 civil defense members, 220 journalists, and 754 police and aid security personnel.

The occupation has committed more than 15,000 massacres, targeting over 14,000 families, completely exterminating about 2,500 families. It has also destroyed more than 88% of the buildings in the Gaza Strip, with total losses exceeding 62 billion dollars.

The occupation has completely destroyed 149 schools, universities, and educational institutions, partially destroyed 369, completely destroyed 828 mosques and partially destroyed 167, in addition to 19 cemeteries, reflecting the extent of the destruction inflicted on the infrastructure in the strip.

Netanyahu again hints at the displacement of Palestinians, with South Sudan as a proposed destination.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday evening that Israel will allow residents of the Gaza Strip who wish to flee the war to leave for abroad, in a controversial move that comes as the conflict intensifies. Netanyahu confirmed in an interview with Israeli channel 'i24' that he seeks to realize U.S. President Donald Trump's vision regarding the relocation of a large portion of Gaza's population.

Netanyahu indicated that what he calls 'voluntary migration' is the most suitable option under the current circumstances, stating: 'I believe that the right thing, even according to the laws of war as I know them, is to allow the population to leave.' He explained that this measure aims to protect civilians from the effects of the ongoing conflict.

In the context of his remarks, Netanyahu mentioned that Israel is in talks with several countries that could host Palestinians wishing to leave, urging countries expressing concern for the Palestinians to open their doors to them. These statements come after previous calls for the deportation of Palestinians to other countries, which have raised significant fears among Palestinians.

Netanyahu also noted that his government is working to find third countries to receive Gaza residents, following Trump's proposal to relocate them and develop the area as a tourist destination. Far-right ministers in Netanyahu's coalition have called for a 'voluntary' departure of Palestinians.

In this context, Israel is in discussions with South Sudan regarding the possibility of relocating Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to its territory. Six people familiar with the matter confirmed these talks, but it remains unclear how much progress has been made in these negotiations.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry declined to comment on these discussions, while the South Sudanese Foreign Minister did not respond to inquiries on the subject. A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department also indicated that the department does not comment on private diplomatic discussions.

Joe Slavik, founder of an American lobbying firm working with South Sudan, mentioned that he was informed by South Sudanese officials about these talks, adding that an Israeli delegation plans to visit the country to discuss the possibility of establishing camps for Palestinians there.

Egyptian officials confirmed that they have been aware for months of Israel's attempts to find a country willing to accept Palestinians, including its communication with South Sudan, and expressed concern about a potential influx of refugees into their territory if these plans are implemented.

Any effort to relocate Palestinians outside Gaza will evoke memories of the 'Nakba' in 1948, as Palestinians consider these plans to represent forced displacement in violation of international law. These proposals have been met with widespread rejection from Palestinians, human rights organizations, and the international community.

Sweden opens investigations after receiving more than 700 reports of war crimes in Gaza.

The Swedish police's war crimes investigation team revealed that it has received more than 700 reports of war crimes since the outbreak of the war in Gaza. These reports came from individuals and organizations, prompting Swedish authorities to open several investigations into these cases.

Irina Dvygon, the head of the prosecution team assigned to investigate these crimes, clarified that most of the reports include accusations against individuals present in the area, in addition to reports concerning prominent leaders. This reflects Sweden's interest in investigating potential violations that may have been committed during the conflict.

Dvygon added that prosecutors are paying special attention to testimonies from individuals connected to Sweden who were at the scene or possess direct evidence. These testimonies are considered vital in building strong legal cases.

Dvygon points out that similar investigations were previously conducted regarding crimes committed in Syria, which included violations such as torture, sexual violence, and ethnic cleansing. The common factor in these investigations is a connection to Sweden, whether through the complainant, the suspect, or the victims.

The organized international crimes unit of the public prosecutor's office is working to gather testimonies and documents that can be used in the future before Swedish courts or courts of other countries or international bodies such as the International Criminal Court. This effort reflects Sweden's commitment to international justice.

Dvygon emphasized the importance of collecting testimonies early, as this enhances their reliability and makes their documentation critically important. This approach can contribute to achieving justice for the victims and holding the perpetrators accountable.

A Hamas delegation headed by "Al-Hayya" arrives in Cairo to discuss a ceasefire in Gaza.

A delegation from Hamas, headed by Khalil al-Hayya, arrived in Cairo on Tuesday to hold talks with Egyptian officials as part of new efforts to stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip. This move comes at a time when the intensity of the war on the sector is escalating, as the delegation seeks to discuss ways to end the humanitarian suffering experienced by the Palestinians.

Hamas leader Taher al-Nounou clarified that the talks will address the latest developments of the aggression in Gaza, in addition to the situation in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. These points are considered pivotal in the context of the discussions that will take place with the Egyptian side.

The delegation has begun preliminary meetings in preparation for the official meetings scheduled for Wednesday, which will focus on ways to halt the aggression and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the sector. The discussions will also address internal Palestinian relations and ways to reach national agreements, in addition to bilateral relations with Egypt.

On another note, Palestinian sources reported that the delegation will discuss with the Egyptian side Cairo's efforts and those of mediators regarding ceasefire negotiations and prisoner exchanges. These negotiations come amid mediators' attempts to present a new proposal for a ceasefire.

In a related context, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that "the partial deal with Hamas is a thing of the past," emphasizing that the current phase requires "a comprehensive deal with no turning back." This statement reflects the challenges facing ceasefire efforts.

This visit is considered an important step in the pursuit of ending the aggression on the Gaza Strip, as Palestinians hope to achieve tangible progress in talks with the Egyptian side.

Pilots in the Israeli army protest against the plan to occupy Gaza due to its danger to the prisoners.

Israeli occupation pilots demonstrated on Tuesday evening in front of the General Staff headquarters in Tel Aviv, protesting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plan to reoccupy the Gaza Strip. The pilots considered this plan to pose a significant danger to the prisoners and soldiers in the sector, as the security cabinet approved a plan to fully reoccupy Gaza, which sparked widespread protests in Israel.

The protests came after the pilots, who are reservists and retirees, announced their support for Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who opposes the expansion of the war and calls for a deal to return prisoners from Gaza. Clear disagreements have emerged between Zamir and Netanyahu since the occupation plan was proposed, which includes the occupation of Gaza City and the displacement of its population of about one million.

The plan involves occupying Gaza City by displacing its residents to the south, then surrounding the city and conducting incursions into residential areas. The second phase includes occupying the refugee camps in the center of the sector, which have seen extensive destruction during the ongoing aggression since October 7, 2023.

In contrast, Zamir proposed a surrounding plan that includes multiple axes in Gaza, aimed at applying military pressure on Hamas to force it to release the prisoners, without falling into strategic traps. The pilots expressed their concern in their statement that the war imposes a heavy price on the prisoners, with an estimated 50 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive.

Human rights reports speak of the suffering of more than 10,800 Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's jails, where they are subjected to torture, starvation, and medical neglect, leading to the martyrdom of many of them. The pilots confirmed that the war endangers the occupation's soldiers without purpose and causes unnecessary harm to innocent civilians.

The pilots also noted that this war is pushing the occupation's standing in the world to an unprecedented level of decline, emphasizing the need to stop this senseless war and immediately work to return the prisoners to their homes. In a related context, the families of the prisoners and martyrs announced their intention to carry out a comprehensive strike on August 17.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice. This genocide has resulted in more than 61,000 Palestinian martyrs and 154,000 injured, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and famine that has caused the deaths of 227 people.

For decades, the occupying state has continued to occupy Palestine and lands in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw from them or to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the borders prior to the 1967 war.
