Hebrew media: "Israeli" security estimates are pessimistic.. "There is no escape" from imposing military rule over all of Gaza

Channel 12 Hebrew revealed pessimistic estimates within the occupation's security establishment indicating that there will be no escape from imposing direct "Israeli" military rule over the entire Gaza Strip starting from next November.

According to the report, the Chief of Staff of the occupation, Eyal Zamir, will soon present this crucial recommendation to the political level of the occupation government. The recommendation states that in the absence of any practical and stable alternative for governing the sector, the occupation army will be forced to take full security and civil responsibility there.

These leaks reflect the depth of the predicament Israel faces regarding the "day after the war" issue, and the failure of Netanyahu's government to formulate a clear and internationally and regionally acceptable strategy for the future of Gaza.

These security estimates are based on the assumption that by November, and with the continued dismantling of Hamas's governmental capabilities without an alternative force capable of maintaining security and managing civil life, a catastrophic "security and administrative vacuum" will arise in the sector.

The occupation's security establishment believes that this vacuum will lead to a state of rampant chaos and the re-emergence of armed groups, which will compel the occupation to intervene directly and impose its complete control to prevent Gaza from becoming a renewed security threat on its borders.

The option of direct military rule by the Israeli occupation represents a scenario that successive occupation governments have long tried to avoid, due to its significant repercussions, which include: human cost: the need to keep large forces permanently inside the sector, exposing them to the risk of attrition and a prolonged guerrilla war.

Economic burden: taking direct responsibility for managing the lives of more than two million Palestinians. International isolation: facing widespread international condemnation and accusations of completely reoccupying the Gaza Strip.

This issue is one of the main points of contention within the Israeli occupation's War Council, as occupation ministers like Benny Gantz and the army pressure Netanyahu to make clear strategic decisions regarding the future of Gaza, which Netanyahu continues to postpone.

Netanyahu's office responds to Hamas proposal: "A new maneuver" and these are our conditions to end the war in Gaza.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Hamas's proposal for a comprehensive deal that includes a prisoner exchange and a ceasefire in Gaza, describing the proposal as "a new maneuver that brings nothing new."

The office stated in an official statement today, Wednesday: "The war can end immediately, but only under conditions set by the Cabinet."

The statement listed five conditions for ending the war: the release of all detainees, disarming Hamas, stripping the Gaza Strip of weapons, imposing Israeli security control over the Gaza Strip, and establishing an alternative civilian government that does not defend terrorism, instill terror, or threaten Israeli occupation.

Netanyahu's office emphasized that these conditions are the only ones that would "prevent Hamas from rearming itself and repeating October 7, as it intends."

Israel rejects a comprehensive deal with Hamas and reaffirms its determination to continue the war.

Israel announced on Wednesday its refusal to end the war through a comprehensive deal with Hamas, reaffirming its intention to continue the aggression against the Gaza Strip, unless the movement agrees to its conditions, including its security control over the sector.

This came through a series of statements from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and officials in his government, including Defense Minister Israel Katz, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

Hours after U.S. President Donald Trump called on Hamas on Wednesday to "immediately" release all twenty Israeli hostages (alive), promising that "things will change quickly," the movement renewed its readiness to go for a comprehensive deal with Israel.

The movement added in a statement: "Hamas is still waiting for the response of the Zionist enemy to the proposal presented by the mediators to the movement on August 18, which was accepted by the movement and the Palestinian factions."

It continued: "We affirm our readiness for a comprehensive deal under which all enemy prisoners held by the resistance will be released, in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners held by the occupation, as part of an agreement that ends the war on Gaza, withdraws all occupation forces from the entire sector, opens the crossings to bring in all the needs of the sector, and starts the reconstruction process."

Following the movement's statement, Netanyahu's office claimed that "this is just another maneuver by Hamas, with nothing new in it." He added: "The war can end immediately on the terms set by the security cabinet (the cabinet)."

These conditions, according to Netanyahu's office, include "the release of all hostages (prisoners), disarming Hamas, and Israeli security control over the sector, and forming an alternative civilian government."

He stated, "These conditions alone will prevent Hamas from rearming and repeating the massacre of October 7, time and again, as promised."

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed in a statement from his office that "Hamas continues to deceive and repeat empty words, but it will soon realize that it has to choose between two options."

Katz added: "Accepting Israel's conditions to end the war, the most important of which is the release of all hostages and dismantling its weapons, or turning (the city of) Gaza into a version of (the cities of) Rafah (south) and Beit Hanoun (north)."

He concluded by saying: "The Israeli army is fully prepared."

In a related context, Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich stated in a statement: "The matter is very simple: the return of all hostages, disarming Hamas, stripping Gaza of weapons, establishing a security zone, and allowing Israeli operations in the sector in the long term."

Smotrich continued: "This is the minimum to end the war. Nothing less than that. We will achieve it, either through Hamas's surrender and acceptance of these conditions, or by destroying it in the war soon."

In the same vein, far-right National Security Minister Ben Gvir said: "In order not to have to respond to Hamas's hollow statements, there should be no Hamas."

He continued in a statement: "This should be the only response to them... the choice between complete surrender with complete disarmament, voluntary migration from the sector, and the immediate return of all hostages – without any compensation like releasing thousands of prisoners from jails, or you will be completely destroyed."

In contrast, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said on the platform of the American company "X": "The Israeli government is not obliged to accept Hamas's conditions, but is obliged to return to negotiations immediately and seek to conclude a deal."

He continued: "It is impossible not to even try to bring our hostages home."

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli hostages in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned, suffering from torture, starvation, and medical neglect, with many having died, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

On August 18, Hamas accepted a proposal from mediators regarding a partial ceasefire and prisoner exchange in Gaza, but Israel did not respond to the mediators, despite the alignment of its terms with a previous proposal put forth by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, which Tel Aviv had accepted.

Instead, Netanyahu is pushing for the occupation of the city of Gaza under the pretext of releasing the prisoners and defeating Hamas, amid significant skepticism about the feasibility of achieving this from opponents and former officials, and the Israeli army confirming

Why did America prevent the Palestinian president and his team from entering New York?

The American decision to prevent the Palestinian president and his team from entering the United States is based on a number of reasons, or rather pretexts: incitement to terrorism and hesitation in resisting it, spreading a culture of hatred, pursuing Israel criminally, and urging countries around the world to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state.

Washington did not stop at merely denying the Palestinian presidential team entry visas; it also proceeded to revoke the valid ones, ultimately generalizing the decision to the entire Palestinian people, with very few exceptions.

In form, the American decision is considered an insult to the authority and the presidency, and a disregard for them, as well as a new blow to the entire Palestinian people.

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, officially announced on Wednesday the launch of "Gideon's Chariots 2," which aims to fully occupy the city of Gaza after surrounding it and displacing the Palestinians from it.

Zamir's announcement, which was reported in a statement from the Israeli army, comes despite Tel Aviv declaring last Friday that the city of Gaza is a "dangerous combat zone," and has already been conducting extensive airstrikes and demolition operations for more than three weeks, resulting in the deaths and injuries of many Palestinians, and massive destruction in the devastated city.

According to the statement, Zamir conducted a "field tour in the Gaza Strip today accompanied by southern region commanders Yaniv Asor, 162nd Division Sagiv Dahan, Givati Brigade, 401st Brigade, 215th Brigade, and more commanders."

The increasing Republican divide over Netanyahu and Israel

Washington – Saeed Arikat

As U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and influential Republican figures prepare to participate in the "Annual Gathering of the Conservative National Movement" taking place in the U.S. capital Washington (Tuesday, September 2-4), prominent conservative figures have begun warning Trump that supporting Israel's war in Gaza represents a political burden, according to multiple statements from movement leaders.

Experts say there is an increasing divide regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and what the U.S. president should do about Israel.

Kurt Mills, executive director of "The American Conservative" magazine and a speaker at the fifth national conference of the conservatives, stated: "If the 'MAGA' movement and 'America First,' or whatever its name is, truly want to be ideologically cohesive, it cannot be 'America First' except for Israel."

This conference, which began on Tuesday, brings together voices from the Trump administration such as Tom Homan, immigration official, and Tulsi Gabbard, national intelligence director, along with key figures in the "MAGA" movement like Steve Bannon, as part of a project to enrich the political framework supporting Trumpism.

Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Movement in the UK, addressed the conference on Tuesday.

After four years of isolation, the national conservative movement and its priorities – which emphasize national identity and sovereignty, family values, and opposition to globalization – are gaining significant momentum.

The fast-paced sessions reflect Trump's approach to reshaping American society, with titles such as: "Fighting the Islamic Consciousness Coalition on Campuses."

Mills warned that Israel could drag Washington into a long-term foreign entanglement – controversial among some audiences.

He said: "I think young people will love it, and I think it will receive mixed acceptance among those in power."

He added that the reasons for U.S. involvement in the Middle East have diminished over the years. While it was previously necessary to protect oil supplies, the U.S. is now a net energy exporter, and the importance of the Suez Canal for American trade has decreased.

This means that only Israel remains (as a reason for U.S. involvement) – and there is no longer justification for saying that defending it serves American national interests as a means to promote stability in an unstable region, according to Mills. He added: "I also think it's the wrong question, because I believe Israel has 200 nuclear weapons, all aimed at Tehran."

"So the idea that it is actually threatened by its neighbors... I think it's the wrong choice. I believe its greatest threat is its own contradictions and its inability to solve its humanitarian problem at its borders."

It is noted that for many years, both the left and the right prioritized aid and arms for Israel. Its founding as a state in the aftermath of the Holocaust gave it a special status in Washington, and for decades, it was considered a bridgehead for democracy in the Middle East. However, Democrats have long warned Benjamin Netanyahu that his right-wing policies and hardline approach to Palestinian territories undermine their party's support.

Now, the rise of "America First" principles has created a divide within the Republican Party, torn between an isolationist war policy to end foreign conflict and the necessity of returning to an old friend.

It is noted that Matt Gaetz, a former congressman, is among those who warned Trump that supporting Israel represents a political burden.

Bannon, who was one of Trump's staunchest supporters and served as a strategic advisor in the White House during Trump's first term, and hosted the influential "War Room" program, has long argued against foreign interventions. When Israel launched its 12-day war against Iran on June 13, he was among the right-wing figures who warned that Washington risks being dragged into a devastating conflict in the Middle East.

Netanyahu has warned, stating to the conservative site Breitbart: "Israel is fighting Iran, and you cannot be 'MAGA' if you are pro-Iran, and you cannot be 'MAGA' if you are anti-Israel," prompting Bannon to

"The voice of Hind Rajab".. A cry from a girl in Gaza shakes the Venice Festival and is nominated for an Oscar.

The story of six-year-old Hind Rajab, who was trapped in a car targeted by Israeli occupation fire in Gaza, has transformed into a poignant cinematic work that carries her cry to the world.

The film "The Voice of Hind Rajab," directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, revealing a humanitarian tragedy that shook consciences and inspired an exceptional artistic work.

The shocking documentary film revolves around the last hours in the life of the child Hind, who was found dead along with five family members and two paramedics after 12 days of losing contact with her.

The film relies entirely on the painful real audio recording of Hind's distress call to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, while Palestinian actors portray the paramedics who tried to save her.

Director Kaouther Ben Hania said: "When you hear her voice, you feel helpless... I felt as if she was asking me to save her. I asked myself: What can I do? And I know only one thing: to tell stories."

The power of the story drove director Ben Hania to suspend her other projects and work at an accelerated pace to complete the film.

After obtaining the approval of Hind's mother, Wissam Hamada, the director kept the camera confined within the Red Crescent operations center, avoiding the display of horrific images of the incident, and instead focusing on the power of sound and its impact.

Ben Hania explains: "I wasn't interested in showing images of horror, because we see them everywhere. I felt that the best way to tell the story was from this perspective. It was as if the voice of this child was placed in my hands as something sacred."

The film received remarkable global support after its completion, with major Hollywood stars, including Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, and Alfonso Cuarón, joining as executive producers.

The film was also selected to officially represent Tunisia in the Oscars race for Best International Feature Film.

The story of Hind Rajab casts a shadow over the festival, which witnessed widespread protests and questions about the genocide war waged by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip for the past 22 months, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 63,000 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Norwegian Refugee Council sounds the alarm: "We will continue to see people dying of hunger and disease in Gaza."

In a stark warning that reflects the scale of the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, the spokesperson for the Norwegian Refugee Council confirmed that the tragic situation will continue, and that the world will keep watching people die from hunger and disease.

In statements to Al Jazeera, the spokesperson urged the international community to take immediate action to stop the policies of the Israeli occupation and to enable humanitarian organizations to deliver vital aid.

The spokesperson expressed her deep pessimism regarding the near future in Gaza, saying regretfully: "Unfortunately, we will continue to see people in Gaza dying from hunger and disease."

This statement reflects the failure of international efforts to secure a safe and sustainable humanitarian corridor, and indicates that the health and food crisis in the region has reached critical levels that threaten the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.

The spokesperson issued a direct and strong call to the countries of the world, demanding that they take serious action to confront the policies of occupation. She emphasized, saying: "Countries must confront Israel's policies and prevent it from occupying the city of Gaza."

This call comes amid growing fears of the occupation's intentions to launch large-scale military operations that could lead to the reoccupation of parts of the region, which would exacerbate the humanitarian disaster and eliminate any hope for stability.

The spokesperson highlighted the obstacles facing relief work, stressing the need to allow humanitarian organizations unconditional access throughout the region.

She said: "We must be empowered to bring in and distribute aid to the people of Gaza."

This demand reflects the scale of the challenges faced by relief teams on the ground, from restrictions at crossings to security risks that hinder the distribution of aid to those in dire need.

Settlement expert: Israel seeks to turn Palestinian areas in the West Bank into prisons under its control.

The settlement expert Khalil Tafakji stated that the Israeli occupation is politically and economically pressuring the Palestinian National Authority to retract its demand for recognition of the Palestinian state.

He pointed out that the occupation seeks to turn the Palestinian areas in the fully occupied West Bank into prisons under its control. Tafakji's remarks came in the context of his comments on Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's statements, in which he said that 'Israel will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state regardless of the challenges.'

Smotrich also threatened to 'exterminate' the Palestinian Authority 'if it dares to raise its head and harm us.' The expert on Israeli affairs added that Smotrich's statements today are a threat to the Palestinian side to retract its measures aimed at recognizing the Palestinian state.

He noted that the occupation is accustomed to such threats, as it did in the case of the separation wall and in the matter of Judge Richard Goldstone's report on the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

He said that the Israeli occupation talks about 82% of the land, meaning it is not talking about Palestinian residents, but about empty land, and that all the built-up Palestinian areas in the West Bank amount to 6%, which means it wants to turn them into prisons under Israeli control.

Smotrich stated in his remarks: 'We do not want to manage the lives of our enemies; sovereignty will be applied to 82% of the land' in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli occupation aims to implement a decision dating back to 2005 proposed by an Israeli orientalist, which stipulates that within Palestinian cities there should be a state of clans or tribes or emirates that have friendly relations with the Israeli side and hostile relations with Palestinian tribes and clans.

He revealed that the Israeli vision is now being proposed in the Hebron area, to form a special emirate that recognizes Israel and implements its orders, but its relationship would be hostile with the rest of the Palestinian cities.

The Israeli Knesset had approved on July 23 of last year a proposal calling for the imposition of 'Israeli sovereignty' over the occupied West Bank - including the Jordan Valley - by a majority of 71 votes to only 13 opposed, a move that was condemned by the Palestinian presidency and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) as invalid and illegitimate, undermining the chances for peace and a two-state solution.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli threats to the Palestinian side come after many European and Western countries, most notably France, Britain, Canada, and Australia, decided that they would recognize a Palestinian state during the General Assembly meetings to be held from September 9 to 23 this year.

The West Bank.. Israeli settlers seize a Palestinian home in Hebron.

The municipality of Hebron in the occupied West Bank stated on Wednesday that Israeli settlers seized a Palestinian home in the Old Town on Tuesday evening and held a provocative party.

The municipality added in a statement: "We condemn the actions of groups of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, seizing the house adjacent to the old municipality building in the heart of the Old Town of Hebron and holding a provocative party in the municipality square."

It pointed out that "this crime is part of a systematic policy to Judaize the Old Town and impose a new reality on the ground by attacking citizens' properties and closing main streets in the Zahida and Shalala areas and others, which constitutes a blatant violation of international laws and norms."

The municipality emphasized that it is proceeding with its legal measures to protect the cultural and historical heritage of the city.

Videos showed settlers holding a provocative party and dancing around the house, while Israeli flags were raised on its walls.

The Old Town of Hebron is under complete Israeli control, inhabited by about 400 settlers, guarded by approximately 1,500 Israeli soldiers.

The city was divided according to the Hebron Agreement on January 17, 1997, between the Palestine Liberation Organization and the occupying state, into areas H1 and H2, granting the occupying state full control over the Old Town and its outskirts.

This comes amidst discussions by the occupying state about annexing the West Bank to its sovereignty and establishing an emirate in Hebron, separating it from the Palestinian Authority.

On Wednesday, far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced Tel Aviv's intention to annex 82 percent of the area of the occupied West Bank, emphasizing the need to "prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state."

On Friday, the channel "Israel 24" reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would discuss plans to separate the city of Hebron from the influence of the Palestinian National Authority and establish a separate "emirate" ruled by clans, in response to the intention of several Western countries to recognize the State of Palestine.

In preparation for the annexation, the occupying state has intensified its crimes in the West Bank since the beginning of its genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip, including demolishing homes, displacing Palestinian citizens, confiscating their lands, and expanding and accelerating settlement construction.

Many Western countries, including France, Britain, and Belgium, have announced their intention to recognize the Palestinian state during the United Nations General Assembly meetings in September.

Alongside the genocidal war on Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,017 Palestinians and injuries to about 7,000 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 18,500.

With U.S. support, the occupying state has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 63,746 deaths and 161,245 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has killed 367 Palestinians, including 131 children.

For decades, the occupying state has occupied Palestine and lands in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the borders prior to the 1967 war.

I don't know how I will die.. Israeli journalist: A message from my friend in Gaza

Yasri Al-Ghoul, a writer from the Gaza Strip who still lives in Gaza City surrounded by death on all sides, states that he will not leave his city, where he lives next to the ruins of his home, even if it costs him his life and that of his family, because he has no place to escape to, and no way to do so.

The newspaper Haaretz published a translation of a letter he wrote to journalist Ilana Hammerman, with whom he formed a friendship via email, saying, "I don’t know how many days I have left, death surrounds me on all sides just as it surrounds this city that bleeds relentlessly."

The writer began his letter, "I don’t know how I will die, whether from a bomb dropped by a small drone flying in a smoke-filled sky, or from shrapnel of a howitzer shell fired randomly, or from a warship directing its fire towards our area near the sea, or perhaps I will be killed by a treacherous missile from a reconnaissance plane or an F-16 fighter jet."

The only thing I know - Al-Ghoul says - is that I no longer think about how I will die, but where my body will settle, will I fall among the ruins near my home while fleeing from the shells with my children, or will my remains be scattered along the dirt road filled with tents, or perhaps I will be buried without saying goodbye to my wife and the rest of my family.

I imagine it now in my mind, "We run towards the Beach refugee camp. The sky rains fire. Missiles explode around us. I fall to the ground and see my little son bleeding and moaning. I reach out to him, crying and trying to crawl towards him, but I discover that I have turned into scattered remains, and wild dogs approach to devour what is left of my flesh."

"And there, between the moment of death and the moment of awareness, my memory and vision return today vividly, I return to the days when I dreamed of a bright future for my children. I saw them as doctors healing people's hearts, and engineers building a new life from among the ruins, but the occupiers decided otherwise, for in the eyes of the young soldiers, the children of Palestine do not deserve a tomorrow, and their dreams are nothing but a threat that must be erased."

"I will die in silence while the world watches my worthless body, content to sit in front of television screens and follow the scenes as if they were a long horror movie. Sometimes it applauds with cold tears and sometimes it yawns, but it does not scream."

The writer mentioned that his story and that of his family resemble the stories of tens of thousands who have been killed by young soldiers who do not like butterflies, as if they are superfluous beings in an absurd story whose only hero is blood. He added, "I will die while my fellow writers are asleep, and I will soar above the clouds, planes, moons, stars, and galaxies, and ascend to God, accompanied by a million children with steel wings."

Egypt and Palestine affirm the necessity of pressuring Israel to accept the Gaza proposal.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty and Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh emphasized the necessity of pressuring the occupation to accept the proposed agreement currently on the table to end its war on the Gaza Strip.

This came during their meeting on Tuesday evening in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, where Sheikh arrived the same day on an unannounced visit.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement on Wednesday that the meeting witnessed a convergence of the two sides' positions regarding the need to intensify regional and international pressures on the occupation to stop the brutal war on the Gaza Strip.

They also stressed the necessity of accepting the proposed ceasefire put forth by Egypt and Qatar, which is based on the proposal of the U.S. special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Wittekov.

About two weeks ago, Hamas announced its acceptance of a proposed agreement presented by mediators for a prisoner exchange and a ceasefire for 60 days, but the occupation refrains from announcing its position on it.

Moreover, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed on August 20 to expedite the implementation of the plan to occupy the city of Gaza, amid international warnings of catastrophic repercussions.

Abdel Aty condemned, according to the statement, the starvation policy pursued by the occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and its use of famine as a weapon.

Since March 2, the occupation has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid, which has plunged the strip into famine, despite relief trucks piling up at its borders.

However, it allowed a very limited amount of aid to enter a month ago, which does not meet the minimum needs of the starving, and famine continues, as most trucks are subjected to looting by gangs that the Gaza government claims are protected by the occupation.

Abdel Aty reiterated Egypt's firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their lands and the expansion of military operations by the occupation in Gaza, as well as the continuation of genocide against the Palestinian people.

With U.S. support, the occupation has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 63,746 martyrs and 161,245 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has killed 367, including 131 children.

Abdel Aty expressed astonishment at the illegal occupation practices in the occupied West Bank, particularly the illegal settlement plans.

He emphasized the complete rejection of land confiscation and the intimidation campaigns carried out by Zionist settlers against the Palestinian people.

On Wednesday, far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced Tel Aviv's intention to annex 82 percent of the area of the occupied West Bank, stressing the need to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In preparation for the annexation, the occupation has intensified its crimes in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of its genocide war on Gaza, including the demolition of homes, the displacement of Palestinian citizens, land confiscation, and the expansion and acceleration of settlement construction.

The annexation of the occupied West Bank by the occupation would eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, in implementation of the two-state solution principle (Palestinian and Israeli), as stipulated in resolutions issued by the United Nations.

Alongside the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers have killed at least 1,017 Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 18,500, according to Palestinian data.

For decades, the occupation has been occupying Palestine and lands in Syria and Lebanon, refusing to withdraw from them and establish an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the borders of pre-1967 war.

The two sides also discussed, according to the statement, Egyptian-Palestinian coordination regarding mobilizing international support for the expansion of recognition of the Palestinian state.

Abdel Aty praised the intention of several countries to recognize the Palestinian state.

Countries, including France, Britain, Australia, Canada, and Belgium, have announced their intention to recognize the State of Palestine during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which opens its proceedings on September 9.

Of the 193 member states of the international organization, at least 149 countries recognize the Palestinian state declared by the Palestinian leadership in exile in 1988.

Abdel Aty reiterated Egypt's commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian people's struggle to establish their inalienable rights, foremost among them their right to self-d

More than 40 dead, including a fetus that was born from its mother’s womb, in the ongoing massacre in Gaza

More than 40 Palestinians have been killed, including a pregnant woman and her fetus, since dawn on Wednesday, due to shelling targeting the Gaza Strip, as part of the genocide being committed against the Palestinians.

Medical sources and eyewitnesses reported that the army's attacks targeted homes and tents sheltering displaced persons, as well as gatherings of civilians and aid seekers.

In the latest attacks, the army killed 3 Palestinians and injured more than 50 in gunfire aimed at aid seekers in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Prior to that, dozens were killed in various parts of the strip; in the west of Gaza City, the army killed 5 Palestinians, including a pregnant woman and her fetus, while several others were injured in shelling carried out by a helicopter on an apartment in the vicinity of the fishermen's port.

Additionally, 3 other Palestinians were killed when a helicopter targeted a house belonging to the 'Swaferi' family near Al-Fawakhir Street in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in the center of Gaza City.

Several Palestinians were injured, some in critical condition, due to shelling that targeted tents sheltering displaced persons near 'Al-Rantisi Hospital' in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in western Gaza.

In the same neighborhood, warplanes targeted an apartment, resulting in the death and injury of several Palestinians, with no reports on the nature of the injuries.

The army continued to demolish houses by detonating explosive robots, destroying residential buildings and homes of Palestinians in the northeastern Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northwestern Gaza City.

Israeli drones of the 'Quadcopter' type also dropped incendiary bombs targeting tents of displaced persons in Sheikh Radwan Market, causing fires that affected the tents and the property of citizens.

In the same context, artillery shelling targeted several areas in the Al-Zeitoun and Al-Sabra neighborhoods in southern Gaza City.

The Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez strongly criticized the European Union's stance on the Israeli genocide in Gaza, describing its response as "failed" and considering it undermines the credibility and global standing of the West due to the double standards between Gaza and Ukraine.

Sánchez stated in an interview with the British Guardian newspaper that "the Israeli attack on Palestinian territories represents one of the darkest chapters in international relations in the twenty-first century," emphasizing that European countries are divided on how to pressure Israel, which he deemed "unacceptable."

He clarified that his country was a pioneer in recognizing a Palestinian state, expressing his welcome for other European countries to join this path, but he stressed that the overall European stance on the war is "weak and insufficient."

He added: "We have called within the European Union to suspend the strategic partnership with Israel."

Sánchez accused the United States, under President Donald Trump, of attempting to dismantle the global order established after World War II.

He stated that Washington's withdrawal from international institutions like the World Health Organization weakens this system, but it may simultaneously open the door for Europe and the United Kingdom to enhance their global leadership role.

The Spanish Prime Minister concluded, "The most shocking truth is that the main architect of the global order after World War II – namely the United States – is today working to weaken it, which is negative for American society and the entire world, especially for Western countries."

Gaza War: Netanyahu's Last Shield to Stay in Power

Benjamin Netanyahu is ruling today under unprecedented pressures, facing increasing protests, dwindling international support, legal scrutiny, and a government coalition that could collapse at any moment. Against this backdrop, the war in Gaza has become the cornerstone of his political survival.

Public discontent is now evident in the streets every week, as demonstrations involving hundreds of thousands of Israelis sweep through major cities. Families of the captives lead many of these marches, accusing the government of negligence and failure.

Although Netanyahu has dismissed the protests as detrimental to negotiations, the rising numbers indicate that public anger has reached a level not seen since the outbreak of the war in October 2023.

The diplomatic efforts add another layer of complexity. Hamas recently announced its acceptance of a proposal for a 60-day ceasefire, mediated by Egypt and Qatar and supported by the United States. The plan includes a partial release of captives, a prisoner exchange, a limited withdrawal of Israeli forces, and the entry of more aid into Gaza.

So far, Israel has shown caution, neither rejecting nor accepting the deal, but for Netanyahu, any move towards a ceasefire risks undermining his image as a hardliner and could lead to the internal collapse of his coalition.

The far-right partners in the government, led by Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, have already drawn their red lines; they reject any settlement that does not achieve the complete defeat of Hamas and threaten to topple the coalition if Netanyahu makes concessions.

Since Benny Gantz's resignation in June 2024, the government has shifted further to the right, making Netanyahu more dependent on these partners and their demands.

Meanwhile, humanitarian calls and international accountability are suffering; Gaza is experiencing devastating human losses, with the health ministry in the enclave reporting over 62,000 deaths since October 2023.

International agencies warn of famine, with alarming levels of child malnutrition. While Israel questions some of the figures, images of victims and famine dominate global media coverage, fueling accusations that Israel is committing genocide.

The International Court of Justice has yet to rule on the genocide charge itself, but it has issued binding orders demanding that Israel prevent acts of genocide and allow humanitarian aid access, which enhances international scrutiny on the government.

Legal pressures extend further, as the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, accusing them of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

These warrants limit Netanyahu's freedom of movement abroad and intensify his reliance on internal control.

Political survival calculations Without a clear "victory" declaration, the end of the war will expose Netanyahu to increasing demands for accountability and possibly to elections.

At the same time, signs of fatigue are beginning to show from Israel's most important ally, the United States. American public opinion has sharply shifted, with support for the war dropping to historic lows, and Netanyahu's personal popularity in American polls is also negative.

For Israel, which heavily relies on American military and diplomatic support, this erosion of sympathy raises the cost of continuing the war.

Domestically, another crisis is unfolding; the Israeli Supreme Court has annulled the blanket exemptions from military service for the ultra-Orthodox community (Haredim).

Netanyahu needs the support of Haredi parties to remain politically viable, just as he relies on his far-right allies who demand the continuation of the war until Hamas is destroyed.

Any decisive ceasefire could spark conflicts on both fronts: disputes over conscription, budget priorities, and the unresolved question of Gaza's future, and by keeping the war "open," Netanyahu postpones these confrontations.

Within this framework, his survival relies on several pillars: First, the war suspends accountability: it becomes easier to delay investigations into the failures of October 7 or corruption allegations as long as fighting dominates the agenda.

Second, the war secures his coalition: Ben Gvir and Smotrich have tied their political fate to the demand for the destruction of Hamas, and Netanyahu cannot exclude them without risking the collapse of his government.

Third, the war distorts the legal narrative: as long as fighting continues, arrest warrants and international judicial orders can be portrayed as external attacks on Israel's sovereignty.

In peacetime, they would appear as personal responsibilities.

Fourth, the war divides the opposition: while some Israelis demand an immediate deal to return the captives, others insist on continuing the fight, and this division weakens efforts to unite against Netanyahu.

Fifth, the war marginalizes internal challenges: issues like rising living costs, the conscription crisis, and government disputes

"Destruction of Schools".. A map reveals Israel's systematic destruction of the educational infrastructure in Gaza.

A new survey map has shown that the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has left not a single educational facility unscathed, as hundreds of schools and universities have been completely or partially destroyed across various governorates of the Strip.

The map relied on a precise analysis of data from the United Nations Satellite Center, in addition to our team's analysis of recent satellite images up to August 25.

The analysis revealed shocking figures that reflect the scale of the educational disaster in the Gaza Strip, showing that 204 educational institutions were completely destroyed, including 190 schools and 14 universities.

19 dead due to famine in Gaza within 48 hours

A health official in Gaza stated that the number of famine victims in the last two days is the highest since the start of the Israeli starvation policy, reporting the death of 19 Palestinians, including 4 children, due to famine in the past 48 hours.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, the death of six Palestinians, including one child, due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, adding to the 13 dead reported yesterday, Tuesday, including 3 children, marking the largest number recorded in a single day since the beginning of the Israeli genocide and starvation war.

While the ministry confirmed that the number of famine victims has risen to 367, including 131 children, Palestinian and international organizations say that there has been little change in addressing the conditions in the besieged sector since the United Nations declared a famine, and that people are still starving due to a lack of supplies.

Starvation is intensifying as the Israeli army begins to implement the initial phases of its plan to invade and occupy the city of Gaza, having destroyed entire residential blocks in the neighborhoods of Shuja'iyya, Zaitoun, and Sabra, as well as in Jabalia in the northern sector, and started displacing thousands of residents.

Many countries and human rights and humanitarian organizations have condemned the actions of the Israeli army, warning of a new bloody escalation and widespread displacement of the residents of Gaza City, which has a population of nearly one million.

Since October 2023, Israel - with U.S. support - has been waging a genocide against the residents of the sector, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls to stop the war and orders from the International Court of Justice in this regard.

The genocide has resulted in more than 63,000 dead and 160,000 injured.

A dead in Nablus as the occupation demolishes homes and confiscates land in the West Bank.

A Palestinian was shot dead today, Wednesday, in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, while Israeli occupation forces demolished homes and confiscated more land in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of young man Muhammad Madani (25 years old) by the bullets of the occupation forces during their incursion into the Balata camp. The Palestinian news agency reported that the young man was hit by live ammunition and was transferred to the hospital where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries.

The agency stated that special Israeli forces infiltrated the Balata camp in a vehicle with Palestinian license plates and surrounded one of the houses, noting that other forces spread in the camp's alleys and fired bullets and tear gas canisters.

The occupation forces had sent military reinforcements towards the camp from the Awarta checkpoint south of Nablus coinciding with the entry of the special forces into the camp.

Palestinian sources reported that the invading forces arrested the wanted young man Mujahid Khadish after storming his house in the Balata camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces demolished two houses in the Abu Sud area in the town of Al-Khadr south of Bethlehem and notified the owners of dozens of houses in the same area of impending demolition.

Simultaneously, sources reported that occupation forces, accompanied by demolition vehicles, stormed the entrance of the town of Dura south of Hebron and began demolishing the minaret of a mosque under construction in the village of Al-Hijri east of the city.

The sources indicated that the occupation forces sent reinforcements to the area and forced vehicle drivers to leave the site before starting the demolition operations.

In the meantime, sources reported that settlers seized a Palestinian house in the old town of Hebron in the southern West Bank and raised Israeli flags on it after storming it under the protection and security of the occupation forces.

The same sources pointed out that the occupation confiscated several other properties in Hebron, including the old municipality building and a school.

They added that Benjamin Netanyahu's government has reinstated the so-called Absentee Property Law, which allows for the seizure of homes belonging to Palestinians who were forcibly displaced during the Nakba.

In the northern West Bank, the occupation decided to confiscate more than 450,000 square meters of land from villages in the Nablus and Qalqilya governorates for the purpose of settlement expansion.

In this context, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission stated that the occupation authorities carried out 57 demolition operations and attempted to seize 45 dunams of Palestinian land during the past month.

The commission added that the Israeli occupation army and settlers carried out 1,613 attacks on Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank last month.

Since the start of the war on Gaza, the West Bank has witnessed unprecedented escalation by the occupation army and settlers, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 1,017 Palestinians, the injury of 7,000, and the arrest of 18,500, according to official Palestinian data.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry responds to Smotrich: "His statements incite genocide and displacement."

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates described the statements made by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich as "a direct incitement" against the Palestinian National Authority and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in their homeland.

The ministry affirmed that these dangerous statements are part of a systematic Israeli campaign to commit further crimes.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the hostile statements made by Smotrich, considering them a clear and direct call to undermine the Palestinian Authority and violate the rights of the Palestinian people.

The ministry warned that such rhetoric fuels violence and constitutes a blatant violation of international law, aiming to legitimize Israeli repression policies.

The ministry confirmed in its statement that Smotrich's remarks are not an isolated incident, but rather an extension of an incitement approach practiced by more than one Israeli official.

According to the Foreign Ministry, this rhetoric aims to create an atmosphere for committing more interconnected crimes, primarily: the expansion of illegal settlements, the annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank, genocidal crimes against Palestinians, and the forced displacement of populations from their lands.

The ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate action to put an end to these incitements and hold the Israeli officials accountable for them.

Smotrich escalates: "We will strike the Palestinian Authority if it raises its head".. and vows to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In a series of fiery statements reflecting a hardening of the Israeli occupation's stance, the Minister of Finance in the occupation, Bezalel Smotrich, threatened to "exterminate the Palestinian Authority if it dares to raise its head," affirming that "Israel" will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state "no matter the challenges."

These statements came to emphasize the current Israeli occupation government's strategy towards the Palestinian conflict. A firm rejection of the Palestinian state with American support.

Smotrich unequivocally announced that his government would work towards the complete eradication of the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, indicating that this position enjoys support from the American administration.

He stressed that the goal is to prevent the occupied Israeli cities from turning into something resembling "Gaza envelope areas," referring to the security concerns used by the government to justify its policies.

Smotrich linked the prevention of the Palestinian state to plans for the complete imposition of Israeli occupation sovereignty over the West Bank, considering this step "realistic and necessary" to confront what he described as a "political attack on Israel."

The Israeli occupation minister's statements were not limited to the political aspect, but also carried a direct and clear threat to the Palestinian Authority, as he said: "We will exterminate the Palestinian Authority if it dares to raise its head in front of us and harm us."

"Haaretz": A group of settlers destroys homes in Gaza

Sources have revealed that a unit operating under the supervision of the occupying army, called "Uriah," includes settlers from the occupied West Bank and is active in destroying Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip.

For a year now, this irregular unit has been operating in Gaza, endangering the lives of unarmed Palestinians and sending soldiers into tunnels and buildings that may contain explosives and armed individuals, using Palestinians as human shields.

The "Uriah Force" is considered one of the Gaza destruction units and is linked to Betzalel Zini, the brother of the appointed head of the (Shabak) David Zini, as they are seen throughout Gaza operating heavy engineering tools for one purpose: destruction.

Bin Salman discusses the latest developments in Palestine with Macron and calls for an end to the war in Gaza.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories with French President Emmanuel Macron and reiterated the call for an immediate halt to Israel's war on the Gaza Strip.

This came during a phone call received by bin Salman from Macron on Tuesday evening, during which they discussed the existing areas of cooperation between the Kingdom and France in several fields and opportunities to enhance them.

The two sides reviewed the developments in the region, including the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the efforts being made to end the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

With U.S. support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The genocide has resulted in 63,633 deaths and 160,914 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals.

Bin Salman reiterated the Kingdom's position calling for an immediate cessation of the war in Gaza and the necessity of achieving a just, secure, and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, in addition to condemning any actions that undermine the two-state solution.

Since the beginning of its genocidal war on Gaza, Israel has intensified its crimes in the occupied West Bank, including the demolition of homes, the displacement of Palestinian citizens, and the confiscation of their lands.

The annexation of the occupied West Bank by Israel will eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, in implementation of the two-state solution principle stipulated in United Nations resolutions.

The leaked "Gaza Riviera" plan, a "crazy" attempt to cover up ethnic cleansing.

Experts consider the circulating White House plan to develop a "Gaza Riviera" as a series of high-tech mega-cities to be a "mad" attempt to cover up the widespread ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population.

The Washington Post published a leaked memo of the plan on Sunday, which includes the forced displacement of Gaza's two million residents and placing the territory under American trusteeship for at least a decade.

This plan, dubbed the "Gaza Reconstruction and Economic Acceleration and Transformation Fund" - or the "Great Fund" - was reportedly devised by some Israelis themselves who established and launched the U.S. and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), with financial planning from the Boston Consulting Group and the Trump administration, which provided the foundation with $30 million. The most controversial aspect is that the 38-page plan proposes what it calls the "temporary relocation of all residents of Gaza, numbering over two million," a proposal that would amount to ethnic cleansing, and possibly genocide.

According to the plan, Palestinians will be encouraged to leave "voluntarily" to another country or to designated safe zones during the reconstruction. The trust fund will provide a "digital token" to landowners in exchange for redevelopment rights to their properties, to be used to finance a new life elsewhere.

The remaining residents will be housed in properties of just 323 square feet - a minuscule space even by the standards of many non-refugee homes in Gaza.

It is unclear whether the plan reflects U.S. policy. However, the offering memorandum seems to reflect Donald Trump's previously stated ambition to "cleanse" and redevelop Gaza. Among the critics of the leaked memo is Philip Grant, executive director of "Trail International," a Switzerland-based human rights organization, who described the plan as a "scheme for mass deportation, marketed as development."

Grant stated, "This is a scheme for mass deportation, marketed as development. The result? A typical case of international crimes on an unimaginable scale: forced population transfer, demographic engineering, and collective punishment."

It is noted that "Trail International" is one of fifteen organizations that have previously warned that private contractors operating in Gaza in cooperation with the Israeli government risk "aiding and abetting or complicity in crimes under international law, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide," and that they could be held accountable under multiple jurisdictions.

Grant added, "Those involved in planning and executing such a plan - including corporate actors - may face legal liability for decades to come." Even in Israeli media, the proposal has raised eyebrows, with an article in the left-leaning Haaretz describing it as a "Trumpian scheme for quick wealth based on war crimes, artificial intelligence, and tourism."

The offering memorandum appears to be a flight of fancy, crafted by individuals with no practical knowledge of Gaza or Middle Eastern politics or the potential challenges of attempting to rebuild the sector as a multi-billion-dollar tourism and technology hub that would inevitably compete with Israel.

The plan, which does not require any American funding and is intended to be financed by investors up to $100 billion, envisions a bustling coastal city divided by a waterway and bordered by up to eight giant high-tech cities planned with artificial intelligence, similar to the stalled Saudi Neom project.

The plan also envisions the creation of an industrial zone in the style of "Elon Musk's" fantasies located on the ruins of the Erez industrial area, which was built with Israeli investments to exploit cheap labor in the Palestinian territories, then closed and destroyed by Israeli forces.

Examining the map suggests that the plan will also involve the confiscation of a large portion of Gaza's agricultural land, which often lies in the outskirts of Gaza near the border with Israel, for the benefit of an Israeli security buffer zone.

However, the fine print is highly condemnatory, as it does not distinguish in terms of sovereignty between Gaza and Israel and Egypt, indicating a disregard for the Palestinians' right to self-determination. Under the plan, Israel will retain "comprehensive rights" vaguely defined over Gaza "to meet its security needs." There will be no Palestinian state, but rather a "Palestinian political system" joining the Abraham Accords brokered by Trump. The language used in the offering memo, and the description of many features, seems aimed at exploiting the egos of Trump, Musk, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, after whom the security ring surrounding Gaza is named.

Demonstrations demand a deal to bring back prisoners from Gaza and set fire around Netanyahu's house.

This morning, Wednesday, Israeli protests renewed, demanding a deal to return the prisoners and stop the war in the Gaza Strip. Families of Israeli prisoners launched demonstrations in West Jerusalem to demand an agreement that would bring back the prisoners from Gaza.

Channel 12 reported that protesters "are blocking the entrance to the Knesset with their cars, demanding an agreement to return the prisoners and stop the war." The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that demonstrators demanding an end to the war and the return of prisoners are on the roof of the "National Library" near the Knesset.

Families of Israeli prisoners accused the government and its head, Benjamin Netanyahu, of avoiding discussions on the mediators' proposal and continuing a "political war without goals or justifications." Protesters set fire to garbage containers near Netanyahu's home in West Jerusalem as part of protests demanding an agreement to return the prisoners from Gaza.

Mothers of prisoners and Israeli soldiers also demonstrated at the entrance to Jerusalem, calling for an end to the war and the return of all hostages. They brought with them a model of a coffin wrapped in an Israeli flag, indicating that the continuation of the war would cost the Israeli army more lives.

Protesters also hung banners bearing Netanyahu's image, who has been accused of negligence that led to the October 7 attack and the killing of prisoners, according to them. For his part, Israeli Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben Gvir stated that "the terrorist fires near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's house are happening with the support of the legal advisor who wants to burn the state."

Israel estimates that Hamas has 48 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, including 20 alive, compared to more than 10,800 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, many of whom suffer from torture and medical neglect according to human rights and media reports.

Hamas had agreed on August 18 to a mediators' proposal for a partial ceasefire and prisoner exchange, but Israel has not officially responded despite it matching a previous proposal that Tel Aviv had accepted.

Instead, Netanyahu is pushing for the option of occupying Gaza under the pretext of releasing the prisoners and defeating the movement, amid skepticism from opponents, former officials, and even the army, which considered the operation a danger to the lives of the prisoners.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that the anticipated Israeli military operation to occupy the city of Gaza could cost between 20 and 25 billion shekels ($5.9-7.3 billion). The authority added that the National Security Council and the Ministry of Finance have discussed in recent days the necessity of increasing the defense budget in light of the operation, amid expectations that the government will approve amendments that include cutting budgets for other ministries in favor of the Ministry of Defense.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza with American support, which has so far resulted in 63,633 martyrs and 160,914 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed the lives of 361 Palestinians, including 130 children.

Displacement is the goal of the second Gideon vehicle operation.

Nabhan Khreisha

Nabhan Khreisha

Opinion Writer

The complex ambush against Israeli forces in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, which inflicted significant losses on them, confirms the validity of the concerns expressed by the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Occupation Army, Eyal Zamir, that the second Gideon Vehicles operation to occupy Gaza City will come at a high cost in terms of Israeli soldier casualties. This warning did not receive a receptive ear from Netanyahu and the security cabinet, which decided to proceed with the operation regardless of the losses the army would incur, as the primary goal of the operation, as defined by Netanyahu, is to push Gazans into forced displacement under the pressure of military operations in preparation for their expulsion outside the enclave. Additionally, the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip would provide him with the "victory image" he seeks to achieve, which would personally save him and prevent the fall of his government.

From the early hours of the war, Israel has been keen to promote a political and media narrative that its ultimate goal is the occupation of the Gaza Strip to eliminate Hamas and free Israeli prisoners. However, when subjected to analysis, this narrative appears to be more of a propaganda cover than a reflection of real, achievable objectives. The field data and admissions from Israeli military officials make it clear that what is announced does not necessarily reflect what is being planned.

The demographic alarm bell rang in Israel when 2014 statistics from the Palestinian and Israeli statistical offices showed that the number of Palestinians in historic Palestine (from the sea to the river) reached approximately 6.08 million, compared to 6.10 million Jews, a slight difference that will soon dissipate in the coming years, with the balance tipping in favor of Palestinians due to their higher birth rates compared to Jews. This demographic reality has become a concern for Israel, which was founded on the idea of a "Jewish state," as the conflict is no longer merely a security issue or a confrontation with resistance movements, but a struggle for identity. From here, it can be understood that the military operation in Gaza does not only target Hamas as marketed in the media, but carries a broader project aimed at pushing Palestinians into "involuntary" mass migration under the pressure of bombardment and starvation.

In 2013, Israel established a strategic military unit called the "Population Movement Organization," led by Brigadier General "Oudi Baramouha." The theory of population movement was developed by a multidisciplinary team as part of operational plans for a future invasion of the Gaza Strip. During Operation "Protective Edge" in 2014, the developed methods of this unit were tested for the first time, and it became a method of combat in the "Guardian of the Walls" operation in 2021. In the context of the "population movement" theory, the Gaza Strip was divided into blocks, with sectoral boundaries based on the existing layout in Gaza, not on an externally imposed logic, so that the boundaries of the block correspond to the villages, cities, streets, neighborhoods, and alleys in the enclave.

It is true that the elimination of Hamas is one of the publicly stated objectives of the Gideon Vehicles (2) operation to occupy Gaza City and the camps in the central region. However, Hamas's presence is not limited to Gaza City, so it cannot be said that controlling the city means eliminating it, as it has extended arms in the north, south, and center, making the notion of eliminating it through military action within the city seem overly simplistic to the point of naivety. In other words, what is happening now and what will happen later is more of a random bombardment of civilian areas than a war against military targets. This, in itself, reveals the falsehood of the official narrative; if there are no longer any military targets, what justifies the continued bombardment and invasion of residential neighborhoods and the systematic killing of civilians?!!

As for the other publicly stated goal of the second Gideon Vehicles operation, which is to free Israeli prisoners from Hamas's grip, often raised as a justification for the continuation of the war, the liberation of these prisoners cannot be resolved through a ground invasion of Gaza City. The network of tunnels dug by Hamas extends throughout the sector, making it impossible to assume that the release of the prisoners will be achieved through a concentrated military operation. On the contrary, any large-scale military invasion puts the lives of the prisoners at greater risk, according to statements from senior Israeli military leaders, if the release of the prisoners is even on the agenda of the Israeli government!!

So, if the elimination of Hamas is not possible through the occupation of Gaza, and if there are no longer any significant military targets, and if the liberation of the prisoners is impossible by force, what is the real goal of Operation Gideon 2?

The answer to this question becomes clear when reading the old-new Israeli strategic plans: the displacement of Gaza's residents. The narrative broadcast in Western and Israeli media

For the third year without education.. "Educational genocide" by Israel against Gaza students

Most countries around the world are witnessing the beginning of the new school year these days, while the ongoing Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023, is depriving students in the Gaza Strip of education for the third consecutive year.

Schools in Gaza have become devoid of desks and classrooms, turning into shelters for forcibly displaced individuals or piles of rubble, resulting in approximately 785,000 students being deprived of education.

The 9-year-old girl, Jouri Mahna, from Gaza City, keeps a box of colored pencils in her small bag, even though she hasn't used them for over two years. Jouri flips through the pages of an old notebook and draws her dreams of life returning to school desks.

While sitting next to her mother, she said, 'I miss my school and my friends... I want to write on the board again.' Her mother is trying to compensate for this interruption by enrolling her daughter in an electronic education system launched by the Ministry of Education in Gaza.

However, she faces a harsh reality characterized by repeated forced displacement, power outages, and weak internet, under the pressure of ongoing Israeli bombardment as part of the genocide.

On August 13, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that one million children in Gaza are deprived of education and suffering from deep psychological trauma.

With American support, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

The genocide has resulted in 63,633 deaths and 160,914 injuries among Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.

The deprivation of education is not limited to children only but extends to all students in their primary, secondary, and university stages.

Mahmoud Abu Daf (18 years old) was about to complete his secondary education and enroll in university, but the Israeli war completely destroyed his educational life.

The Director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabteh, said that 'the Israeli occupation is depriving approximately 785,000 students from studying for the third consecutive year.'

He added: 'It is also depriving 25,000 teachers of their basic right to education, in a systematic crime that amounts to cultural and educational genocide.'

Al-Thawabteh attributed the current situation to the widespread destruction of educational infrastructure due to the ongoing aggression.

He added that the material damages have affected more than 95 percent of schools in the Gaza Strip, while more than 90 percent of school buildings need complete reconstruction or rehabilitation.

He reported that Israel has directly targeted 662 school buildings, which is about 80 percent of the total schools.

Meanwhile, 116 other schools were classified as damaged, which has led to approximately 140,000 additional students being deprived of attending school.

He further stated that the Israeli war has completely destroyed 163 schools, universities, and educational institutions, and partially damaged 388 other institutions.

He confirmed that these practices represent 'a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guarantees the right to education and protection in times of conflict.'

Al-Thawabteh emphasized that what is happening in Gaza is not just collateral damage of war, but 'a deliberate destruction of the fundamental pillars of civil life.'

President of the Palestinian Prisoners' Club: Dangers threaten the prisoners and there is a threat to eliminate their leaders.

The President of the Palestinian Prisoners Club, Abdullah Al-Zaghari, anticipated an increase in the number of martyr prisoners inside Israeli occupation prisons, due to the hostile policies against them, including starvation and torture, and the widespread prevalence of diseases, especially skin diseases resulting from medical neglect and deprivation of treatment and personal hygiene.

Al-Zaghari stated that the number of prisoners has risen to more than 10,800 since the outbreak of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, during which 77 prisoners were martyred due to the tragic conditions inside the prisons, which have worsened significantly over the past two years.

He pointed out that the prisoners from Gaza are suffering from harsher conditions, citing Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, the director of the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, who has developed skin diseases and suffers from starvation and medical neglect, having lost two-thirds of his weight.

In the following dialogue, Al-Zaghari discusses in detail the reality of the prisoners in the occupation's prisons, and the retaliatory policy that has even targeted leaders of the prisoners' movement, the latest being the raid by the extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir on the cell of the leader prisoner Marwan Barghouti, threatening him, which warns of his physical liquidation.

Considering the intensification of arrest campaigns since October 7, 2023, the number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation reached about 10,800 by the beginning of last August, noting that this figure does not include detainees in the camps run by the occupation army, and this number is the highest since the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000.

The number of female prisoners is 49, including two from Gaza, while the number of child prisoners (under 18 years) exceeds 450, while the number of administrative detainees (without charges or trial) reached 3,613 by the beginning of last July.

The number of detainees classified as unlawful combatants is 2,378, and this number does not include all detainees from Gaza held in camps run by the occupation army, noting that this classification also includes Arab detainees from Lebanon and Syria.

The conditions are tragic and have reached their peak during the genocide war on Gaza after "October 7" 2023, affecting all aspects of life in the prisons.

Although these tragic conditions affected all prisoners, the detainees from Gaza, who were arrested since "October 7" and during the ground invasion of the sector, faced worse and harsher conditions than other Palestinian prisoners, especially in the detention camps run by the occupation army.

Violence, torture, and mistreatment: daily assaults on prisoners by special repression units, use of police dogs and humiliating strip searches, physical and psychological torture inside interrogation rooms and during the transfer of prisoners, and deprivation of treatment and healthcare, including for those with chronic illnesses.

Escalation of administrative detention campaigns: an increase in the number of administratively detained individuals, expanding the use of this type of detention arbitrarily, and repeated extensions without any clear legal justification.

Mass arrest campaigns in the West Bank launched by Israel after "October 7," targeting 9,000 prisoners, including political activists, students, and released prisoners.

Punitive laws and legislation: pushing for more extreme legislation, such as a bill to execute prisoners convicted of killing Israelis, enacting
