In Khan Younis, a displaced woman from Beit Lahia was killed by the occupation's fire in the Hamad city north of the city.

Medical sources indicated that about 99 citizens were killed yesterday, Wednesday, as a result of the continuous bombardment and aggression of the occupation on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in widespread destruction and significant human losses among the displaced.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered on Thursday that Israel's treatment of the Gaza Strip as a commercial property is an official acknowledgment of plans for extermination and displacement.

This came in a statement in response to remarks made by the far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said that "the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip will turn into a profitable investment, after we have already carried out the demolition phase."

Smotrich added: "The plan is now on the table of President (Donald) Trump, and negotiations have begun with the Americans on how to share the proportions on the ground, because we have spent a lot of money on this war."

Last July, the government media office in Gaza announced that the extent of the destruction in the strip due to the Israeli extermination war exceeded 88 percent of its area of about 360 square kilometers.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated: "We view with great seriousness the inciting Israeli calls that treat the Gaza Strip as a property for sale, division, or privatization."

Security sources added that the occupation forces raided the town of Sa'ir northeast of Hebron and arrested Nayef Hijazi Jaradat, Nabil Hijazi Jaradat, and his son Muhammad, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.

In the town of Idna to the west, the occupation forces stormed several homes of the Al-Jiawi family, searched them, and destroyed their contents, with no arrests reported.

Satellite images of areas such as the Tayba Tower and the "Al-Ru'ya" and "Al-Karama 5" buildings, among others in western Gaza, show a heavy movement of displaced people after the bombing, as makeshift and organized camps disbanded, and tens of thousands of families moved southward.

Israeli sources estimate that about 400,000 Palestinians have been displaced southward, but the government media office in Gaza confirmed yesterday that the number reached only 190,000, indicating that about one million Palestinians remain in Gaza City and its north, refusing forced displacement.

The office added that the "Mawasi" area in Khan Younis and Rafah – which the occupation promotes as a "safe" area – currently hosts more than 800,000 people, but it has been subjected to more than 109 airstrikes resulting in over two thousand martyrs.

The Hebrew media revealed on Wednesday that the leadership of the occupying army decided to cancel all military service exemptions that were issued over the ten years preceding October 7, 2023.

This unprecedented measure comes in response to a severe and critical shortage of human resources, coinciding with the expansion of the occupying army's ground operations in the Gaza Strip, which are expected to continue until 2026.

The newspaper reported that the army has nearly doubled the number of call-up orders for service, reaching 27,000 notifications, with expectations of this number rising in the coming days.

So far, 18,000 soldiers have responded to the return orders and have been distributed to various units.

It noted that about 40% of those summoned have filed appeals against their return orders for personal, health, or family reasons, but the army leadership rejected all these appeals and issued orders to forcibly include them in the ranks of service.

The mobilization decisions include all soldiers under the age of 40.

The occupying leadership justified the decision by the "extreme necessity" to cover the shortage, especially in critical and specialized fields such as doctors and heavy equipment operators working in combat zones.

This development comes as the occupation began, on Tuesday, the main phase of its ground operation to control the city of Gaza, which has seen intense aerial and naval bombardment and the use of explosive drones before two army divisions advanced on land into the city.

The government statistics center, affiliated with the occupying state, revealed the number of Israelis who left the occupied Palestinian territories during the past year, in light of the ongoing war in Gaza, the brief confrontation with Iran, and developments in the region.

The center stated in a report on Wednesday, on the occasion of the upcoming Hebrew New Year next Monday, that 79,000 Israelis left in 2024, at a time when the occupying state is experiencing unprecedented conditions amid its aggression against the occupied Palestinian territories and regional countries.

The office said: "With the arrival of the Hebrew New Year, the population of Israel is estimated to be around 10 million and 148 thousand people." It added: "Among them are about 7 million and 758 thousand Jews (78.5 percent), approximately 2 million and 130 thousand Arabs (21.5 percent), and about 260 thousand foreigners."

This census includes about 400 thousand Palestinians in East Jerusalem, which Israel occupied in 1967 and annexed in 1980, a move not recognized by the United Nations.

The report indicated that "since the last Hebrew New Year, the population of Israel has increased by about 101 thousand people, with a population growth rate of 1.0 percent."

It continued: "During the past year (2024), about 179 thousand children were born in Israel, and around 50 thousand people died."

Meanwhile, "approximately 25 thousand new immigrants arrived in Israel and about 5 thousand immigrants under a family reunification program," according to the statement.

The statistics office added: "In addition, about 21 thousand Israelis who had emigrated abroad returned to Israel, while around 79 thousand Israelis left."

In 2023, about 55 thousand and 300 Israelis emigrated from the country, while 27 thousand chose to return or immigrate to it, according to the statistics office in September 2024.

Year after year, the occupying state is noticeably transforming into a population-expelling environment, as the number of those leaving exceeds those immigrating to it.

The occupying state is experiencing suffocating economic conditions and deep political divisions, amid the repercussions of the genocide war it is waging with American support against the Gaza Strip, in addition to its aggression in the West Bank.

It also launched a war on Iran last June and is conducting airstrikes on Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, in addition to a failed airstrike aimed at assassinating leaders of the "Hamas" movement in Qatar last week.

U.S. President Donald Trump refrained from expressing his opinion on the Israeli attack on the city of Gaza, stating that he does not have much information about the ground invasion.

Trump clarified on Tuesday, when asked about the operation to control the urban area in the besieged Palestinian territory: "I need to see. I don't know much about it."

Trump claimed that "Hamas is using the old human shield trick. If they do that, they will be in big trouble."
