Netanyahu accuses protesters against his government of joining forces with Palestinian Authority and Iran
At dawn on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the demonstrators participating in protest demonstrations against his government’s steps regarding what is known as “judicial legislation” of “cooperating with Israel’s enemies, such as Iran and the Palestine Liberation Organization.”
Netanyahu's statements came as he left Lod Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, heading to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly meetings, where his visit will take place for several days amid heavy security due to demonstrations that will be organized by American Jews against him.
He considered that organizing demonstrations inside and outside Israel was aimed at destroying its reputation, considering that it was not a normal matter to organize such demonstrations in front of the United Nations headquarters, and that he did not do that when he was in the opposition. like he said.
He said: "All of this will not prevent me from representing Israel brilliantly and in the best way for all its citizens."
He indicated that during his stay in New York, he will meet with many world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, and will discuss with him issues related to expanding normalization and what he described as “Iranian aggression” in the region.
He will also meet in California with Elon Musk to discuss the issue of artificial intelligence with him and bring investments in it to Israel.
Netanyahu's statements about the demonstrators angered the Israeli opposition as well as those organizing the demonstrations, and they described him as a "dictator" and that his statements deserved all condemnation.
