Sick prisoners in "Ramle" decide to go on hunger strike

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported, on Tuesday evening, that the sick prisoners in the “Ramla” prison clinic decided to go on an open hunger strike in protest of their health conditions in light of the deliberate medical negligence and the policies of the Prisons Administration against them in all aspects.

The Commission indicated that the prisoners gave the occupation prison administration several times to provide them with health care in the "Ramla Prison" clinic, but it still flouted their humanitarian health demands, indicating that they had begun to implement an upward struggle program.

The commission continued that the prison administration does not conduct a medical examination for prisoners in prisons throughout their time in detention, and that the prison administration does not provide the necessary treatment for sick prisoners and does not allow the entry of medical staff to treat them, and refuses to hand over their medical files to be presented to doctors outside the prisons, which poses a real threat to their lives. .
