The occupation claims: a technical defect prevented the Rohovot missile from being intercepted

On Friday morning, the Israeli army claimed that the Iron Dome fired an interceptor missile at the missile that hit Rohovot, east of Tel Aviv, yesterday evening, but it did not hit the missile fired from the Gaza Strip.

A military spokesman stated in a press briefing that the Dome system did not respond to the missile due to a technical malfunction, indicating that the investigation into the incident is still underway.

He pointed out that the missile is one of the conventional missiles, with a range of 70 km, and carries an explosive warhead of up to 20 kg.

The missile fell on a building, killing an Israeli woman and injuring 8 of varying degrees.

In a related context, the Israeli military spokesman said that 866 rockets were launched until 6:00 am today, 672 of them crossed the fence, while 163 landed inside Gaza, according to his claim.

He pointed out that 260 missiles were intercepted by Iron Dome, according to the interception policy.

He indicated that 215 Islamic Jihad targets were attacked in Gaza, including the assassination of its leaders.
