Saudi Championship: Ronaldo scores as Al-Nasr returns to the winning streak

Al-Nasr regained its winning tone after three matches, after its great victory over its guest, Al-Raed, 4-0, on Friday, at the Park Stadium in Riyadh, at the end of the twenty-fourth round of the Saudi Football League.

The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo (4), Abdul Rahman Gharib (55), Muhammad Maran (90), and Abdul Majeed Al-Salihim (90 + 4) took turns recording the victory quartet.

Al-Nasr raised its score to 56 points in second place, while Al-Raed remained on its previous score of 26 points in eleventh place.
Only three minutes had passed since the start of the first half until victory took precedence, when Ronaldo followed a cross with his head to the left of Romanian goalkeeper Silvio Long (4).

And from a coordinated attack in the second half, Al-Nasr strengthened its lead with a second goal when Gharib received a ball inside the penalty area, after which he passed the defender and played it strong inside the goal (55).

Al-Nasr added a third goal when the substitute, Maran, received a cross, which he played powerfully into the goal (90). And in the calculated time instead of the lost, the victory deepened the difference when Al-Salihim kicked off a ball from the depths and played it “Take and Haat” with the Uzbek Masharipov before sending it powerfully into the left scissors of goalkeeper Long (90 + 4).

On the other hand, Al-Khaleej scored 3 valuable points in the journey to escape from relegation, by defeating its host Al-Fayhaa 3-0.

Al-Khaleej advanced with Albanian Sokol Tsekaleshi's goal from a penalty kick (23), and Portuguese Fabio Martinez added the second goal with a shot (54), and Gabonese Andre Boko third with a header (67).

The Gulf increased its score to 20 points in the penultimate fifteenth place, while Al-Fayhaa remained at 25 points in the twelfth place.

Al-Ettifaq defeated its guest Damak with two clean goals scored by Nigerian striker Youssef Nyakati in the two minutes (89 and 90 + 1).
With this victory, Al-Ettifaq raised its balance to 30 points in eighth place, while Dhamak's balance froze at 29 points in ninth place.
On the other hand, Al-Wehda snatched a valuable point after imposing a 1-1 draw on its host Al-Fateh.

Al-Fateh advanced in the first half by Spain's Christian Tello (13), and Al-Wahda equalized in the second half through Moroccan Faisal Fajr (63 from a penalty kick).

With this tie, Al-Fateh raised its score to 39 points in fifth place, while Al-Wehda raised its score to 23 points in thirteenth place.
