Skaik achieves a bronze medal in the World Physical Strength Championship, 3 thousand dollars for the director of "Al-Mamoura Min Haniyeh"


Gaza - Ahmed Al-Masharawi - The Palestinian champion, Abdul-Jabbar Skaik, player of the Islamic University team, achieved a great achievement for Palestine in the World Physical Strength Championship for Universities, which is taking place in Turkey. Skaik won the bronze medal in the "chest press" category, achieving an unprecedented achievement for Palestine in the championship, in which players from dozens of countries around the world participated.


The achievement is also the first for the Arabs in the world championship, especially since the Islamic University is the only Arab university to participate in the championship. In his turn, Moamen Al-Azazi congratulated the State of Palestine and the Arabs on this unique achievement, indicating that the champion Skaik made tremendous efforts to win the bronze medal. Al-Azzazi stressed that the Islamic University did not fail with Skaik in order to reach the podiums in terms of preparation and training, noting that the International and Asian Federations of Physical Strength praised his abilities during the championship competitions. He pointed out that the Palestinian champion has become the talk of the followers of the competition, especially that he suffered a lot to confirm his participation in the tournament.


It is noteworthy that Skaik had previously ranked sixth in the World Junior Physical Strength Championship, which also took place in Turkey last August.


$3,000 for the target stadium

Abdel Salam Haniyeh, Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, provided $3,000 as part of the compensation for the young Mohammed Ghannam for the severe damage caused to the "Al-Mamoura" stadium, after it was subjected to barbaric bombing by Israeli planes two days ago in Al-Maghazi camp. Ghannam, 35, appealed for his help to re-work the playground he relied on as a source of income and to prepare for marriage. He rents a place and receives sports teams in a small grassy field near the entrance to Maghazi camp. Sports circles expressed their appreciation for Haniyeh's position and his quick response to Ghannam's appeal. Everyone emphasized the importance of Haniyeh's role in supporting Palestinian sports, especially since the stadium serves a large group of youth and clubs in Maghazi refugee camp.


Enterprise Championship

The five-a-side championship matches for ministries and government institutions will start next Sunday at the Rafik Al-Salmi Hall in Al-Shati camp, which is organized by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in the Sports Unit of the Sports for All Department. Ten teams representing the ministries will participate in the tournament. During the tournament draw, the participating teams were divided into two groups. The first group includes: the Ministry of Interior, the General Personnel Office, government media, prisoners, and education. The second group: The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Agriculture, Council of Ministers, Labor, Endowments and Religious Affairs.


Buds Championship schedule

The Competitions Committee of the Football Association announced the schedule of matches for the first week of the Al-Baraem Championship for 5-a-side footballers born in 2009, which will start next Friday with the participation of 30 clubs from all governorates of the Gaza Strip. On Friday, Jabalia Youth, Jabalia Services, Namaa and Beit Hanoun Al-Ahly will meet at Ahli Beit Hanoun Stadium, Champions Academy, Al-Hilal and Gaza. The Palestinian Sports Club and Al-Ahly at the Al-Salmi team stadium, Al-Shams, Al-Mashtal, Al-Sadaqa and Palestine at the YMCA stadium, the Professional Academy and Al-Tuffah at Al-Radwan Stadium, Khadamat Al-Nusrat and Ahly Al-Bureij, Al-Rabat and Al-Aqsa at King Sport Stadium, and Khadamat Al-Bureij, Shabab Al-Zawaida, Ahl Al-Nuseirat and Ahl Al-Nuseirat and Khadamat Al-Maghazi at Ittihad Deir Al-Balah Stadium. A tribute to Azzouni's achievement


The Palestinian Equestrian Federation praised the achievement of the Palestinian rider, Faris Azzouni, by achieving first place in the youth category of show jumping by running on horseback 130 cm (young riders) at the opening of the international season in the United Arab Emirates, and winning the Al Ain International Championship in the two-star category. The Palestinian Equestrian Federation expressed its pride and appreciation for the national rider, Ezzoni, for what he achieved in this international championship, which includes elite riders from the world, and wished him and all riders who represent Palestine in international forums further progress and success. Azzouni had qualified for the 2022 Youth Equestrian Games, which will be held in Aachen, Germany, after finishing fourth in the Asian group competitions, and thus the Palestinian equestrian will be present for the first time in its history in the Youth Olympic Equestrian Final with the participation of 29 male and female riders from all over the world. He also ran a camp She trained in Germany in preparation for these participations, while the Palestinian jockey Diana Al-Shaer wrote her name in golden letters in the World Equestrian Championship (Dressage - Dressage) after qualifying to participate in the final of the tournament hosted by France this year. Diana's achievement is the first event of its kind in history, with the arrival of an Arab country represented by Palestine to the final of the official World Championship for Dressage Equestrian.


The knight, Ali Al-Jamla, left the country to participate in the aforementioned tournament in the UAE, to participate in a tournament within the preparations of the knight personally to participate in the final of the Arab League in Sharjah next year. The federation wished him success and a performance that reflects the level of Palestine in the sport of jumping.


This, and in good news for the Palestinian equestrian clubs, the federation is organizing, under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation, the FEI JUMPING WORLD CHALLENGE in Palestine. The first and second tournaments will be in Hashem Gaza on October 18-19, 2022, and the third and fourth in the West Bank on December 16 and December 30, 2022, and the federation stated that the tournament will depend on the points of the participants and in the future it will qualify for the final of the International Challenge Championship in the year 2024.
