The conclusion of the "Al-Yasser" festival for the beauty of purebred Arabian horses on the 18th anniversary of the death of President Abi Ammar


Gaza - by Al-Quds Sports Correspondent and Ahmed Al-Masharawi - The Palestinian Equestrian Federation and the Committee for Purebred Arabian Horses Affairs in the federation organized the Al-Yasser Festival for the beauty of purebred Arabian horses, which took place on the grounds of the Al-Jawad Equestrian Club, in the presence of the Governor of Gaza, Ibrahim Abu Al-Naga, representing President Abbas, and Ramzi Abdel-Al, Vice President Al-Ittihad, Khaled Al-Saadi, member of the Federation, treasurer, many national, sports and legal personalities, representatives of organizations and bodies, and a large crowd with the distinguished participation of horses, ponies, mares, camels and saddlers.


The grand celebration was decorated with pictures of the late President Arafat, chants and scouts played songs praising President Abu Ammar and his struggle. The master of the ceremony welcomed the attendees, pointing out that the festival comes in fulfillment of the sacrifices made by Abu Ammar and to raise the Palestinian flag and perpetuate the memory of the late Abu Ammar, who was the reason for conveying the voice of the Palestinian people and the cause Palestinian to the whole world, praising everyone who contributed to bring the festival to light.


President's speech

Abu al-Naga delivered a speech representing the president, during which he recalled the great sacrifices made by the leader, leader Arafat, on the 18th anniversary of his passing away. The Palestinian Ministry of Defense, and praised the participants in this great and distinguished festival with the participation of the finest purebred Arabian horses and the most prominent riders in driving horses and camels, stressing that the festival affirms the survival of the struggles of our people.

In the Union’s speech, Ramzi Abdel-Al, Vice President of the Union, confirmed that the festival is a radiance of loyalty to President Abu Ammar, who sacrificed the precious and precious for the sake of his people. The late President Abu Ammar, especially since horses represent a symbol full of connotations related to our history, and this festival, the first of its kind, is an advanced step to say that we have in Palestine the wealth of our purebred Arab horses.


He explained that the federation succeeded in organizing four championships last year and announcing its champions in various levels and categories, and despite our circumstances and capabilities, we were able to dig in rocks for the advancement of equestrian sport in the sector, both at the local level, as well as in international participation. The festival was distinguished by its establishment in categories and the distribution of cups and prizes to the participants, amid shouts of encouragement and applause on this special day, which includes the elite of the knights.


Al-Daalis congratulates the achievement of the basketball team

Issam Al-Dulais, Head of Government Action Follow-up, congratulated the great achievement of the Palestinian champions after they were crowned with the title of the International Wheelchair Basketball Championship, which was held in India under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross.


Al-Dulais, in a telephone conversation with the mission’s presidency, expressed his appreciation and congratulations to the players, the technical staff, the administrative staff, the coaches, and each of Dr. Ahmed Musa and Hani Matar, and stressed that the heroes made the achievement despite the great challenges they faced, and said that disability did not prevent the will of the Palestinian heroes, as they were up to the responsibility, carrying the message of the homeland and determined to be crowned, despite the siege and aggression.


Al-Dulais indicated that directives were issued to receive and honor the heroes upon their return today, in appreciation of their honorable achievement. The mission management expressed its thanks to Al-Daulais and appreciation for the role of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Assistant Secretary-General Abdul Salam Haniyeh for their efforts to support sports for people with disabilities, granting facilities and making facilities available for training.


An emergency beach session

The Business Facilitation Council of the Beach Services Club held an emergency session to discuss the repercussions of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports not accepting the club’s request to add two members, Dean Awad and Hussam Harb, to the board of directors because it was not in line with laws and regulations, especially since the club’s board is business facilitation and not elected, explaining that the council comes to prepare for the upcoming elections after the end of the year. current sports season.


The Council called on the members of the General Assembly to pay the subscription fees in order to complete the preparation of the financial and administrative file in preparation for the elections. It is mentioned that dr. Awad previously assumed the chairmanship of the board of directors, in addition to Harb holding the position of vice president. Many material and moral matters were also discussed to serve the club and work to develop it in all sports and social fields.

The Business Facilitation Council congratulated the football team on its victory over Al-Jalaa team in the first-class competitions, wishing the team more victories in the upcoming matches in order to return to the Premier League.


On the other hand, Nader El-Hajjar, coach of the football team at Rabat Club, announced his resignation from coaching the team, after the end of the first leg of the second division league for the Central and South branches. Al-Hajjar informed the club’s board of directors of his resignation, pending a response to it with or without approval, indicating that if the new board wishes to continue his duties, he will hold a session with him to discuss all his requirements. It is noteworthy that Rabat ranks seventh in the General League, with only 7 points, and is looking forward to being in the warm region.
