Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Minister of National Economy Khaled Al-Osaily and Director of the Latin America, Asia and Africa Department at the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrews Bragio, discussed economic and trade relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.

During the meeting that took place at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah today, Monday, the two sides discussed the preparations for organizing the EXPOTECH conference to be held next December in Palestine , in addition to the possibility of cooperation in the fields of information technology and the green economy, including recycling in industry.

The meeting dealt with the possibility of organizing trade missions between the two countries to view investment opportunities in the sectors of food industries, technology and energy, and the two sides confirmed that three visits of Lithuanian businessmen to Palestine will be organized during the month of November.

Al-Osaili stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation relations, which guarantees an increase in the volume of trade exchange, in a way that benefits the economies of the two countries.

In turn, Bragio expressed his country's readiness to transfer Lithuanian expertise in many fields, especially in the field of recycling in industry, financial services and technology, and economic digitization in Palestine.
