The manufacturing activities also recorded a decrease of 2.89% during September 2022 compared to the previous month, the relative importance of which constitutes 87.89% of the total industry activities.

As for the sub-activities; Which has a significant relative impact on the overall index, as some manufacturing activities recorded a decrease during September 2022 compared to August 2022, the most important of which is the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products (concrete, stone, marble, and asphalt), and the manufacture of shaped metal products except for machinery and equipment (aluminum). Furniture industry, printing and reproduction activities of recorded media, paper and paper products industry, clothing industry, wood and wood products industry, tobacco products industry, chemicals and chemical products industry, leather industry and related products.

The statistics indicated that the industrial production index recorded an increase in some manufacturing activities, the most important of which are the food products industry, the textile industry, and the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and their preparations.

Mining and quarrying activities recorded an increase of 3.88%, the relative importance of which is 2.89% of the total industry activities.

While the activities of supplying electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning increased by 1%, the relative importance of which is 7.38% of the total industry activities.
