The movement of industrial production quantities at the level of the main economic activities

Manufacturing activities recorded a sharp increase of 13.09% during June 2022 compared to the previous month, the relative importance of which constitutes 87.89% of the total industry activities.

As for the sub-activities, which have a significant relative impact on the overall index, some manufacturing activities recorded an increase during the month of June 2022 compared to May 2022, the most important of which is the manufacture of shaped metal products except for machinery and equipment “aluminum”, and the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products “concrete, stone, marble, and asphalt”, the manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and their preparations, the manufacture of food products, the clothing industry, the furniture industry, the activities of printing and reproduction of recorded media, and the manufacture of tobacco products.

On the other hand, according to the statistics, the industrial production index recorded a decline in some manufacturing activities, the most important of which are the beverage industry, the textile industry, and the chemical and chemical products industry.

Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply activities also recorded an increase of 4.58%, the relative importance of which is 7.38% of the total industry activities.

While the activities of water supply, sanitation, waste management and treatment recorded a sharp decline of 12.98%, whose relative importance is 1.84% of the total industry activities.

Mining and quarrying activities recorded a decrease of 3.38%, the relative importance of which is 2.89% of the total industry activities.
