Jerusalem - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Federation of Bodybuilding and Physical Fitness announced that it had obtained professional cards for Palestinian players, in an achievement that is considered the first of its kind in the history of the Federation.

Professional cards are considered a key towards facilitating the participation of Palestinian players in international forums, and ensuring their classification by the International Federation.

The Federation stated, in a statement, that this achievement came as a result of the efforts and correspondence of the Palestinian Federation with the International Federation, which is headed by Rafael Santoja.

The President of the Federation of Bodybuilding, Bashir Salama, confirmed that the presidency of the International Federation did not hesitate to provide unlimited support for this sport in Palestine, referring to what the President of the International Federation, Santoja, confirmed his pride in the efforts of the Palestinian Federation during the past two years in developing the management of the Federation.

Salameh pointed out that Santoja expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Technical Committee of the Palestinian Federation, which is headed by Ghaleb Tartir, for its tireless efforts in developing the game.

He also pointed out that the President of the Arab, African and Egyptian Federation, Vice President of the International Federation, Adel Fahim, praised the achievements of the Palestinian Federation, which represent a positive distinction during the recent times, and that he stressed that Palestine is his second country and will not hesitate to provide support and assistance to advance this sport in Palestine.

For his part, Al-Tartir confirmed that the technical staff of the Federation of referees and technicians have a high responsibility and a professional level that enables them to reach advanced stages in this sport, as the Technical Committee had participated in a refresher arbitration course in Jordan under the supervision of the International Federation, in which the Palestinian Federation referees proved their professionalism and high readiness.

Al-Tartir indicated that the technical committee's achievements were one of the pillars for obtaining international professional cards.
