The picture with all the pain!

I wished, as I was grieving and crying, until my tears soaked my bag, that I could hold her hand and pull her out of the screen, while her beautiful innocent face approached to zero distance, and entered the camera frame in all its splendor, terror and trembling, from the columns of fire and smoke and the whizzing of bullets surrounding her.

A little girl, no more than five years old, seemed to be wandering alone, her steps faltering, sometimes stumbling and sometimes getting up, to continue running without knowing her direction, so she entered the eye of the camera that loved her, and followed her, and examined her features and the movements of her hands, as she shook her hair strands that fell in a moment of terror on her face.

The wandering child runs with the runners, carrying a bundle of wool in her right hand, and in her heart she carries her fear, panic and confusion, searching for a safe place after she left the house and the warmth of the bed before it turned into rubble, while the scene opens up to the hordes of frightened people running, taking refuge in nowhere, and above them the crows fly over the wasteland that is being prepared to build settlements on the ruins of the brick houses and tin camps that have turned into graves for their residents.

Oh God, how painful are the scenes of children in Gaza, as we see them dying before our eyes, wrapped in white as they go to their final slumber, leaving behind pain, regret and sorrow in the hearts of their fathers and mothers who are suffering from pains that make the mountains groan under its burdens.

Oh God, to you, O Lord, we complain of our weakness, our helplessness, our lack of resources, and our insignificance among people.

Stop the genocide now..!
