Messages of steadfastness from Gaza and the West Bank

On the anniversary of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, amidst the bombing, destruction, killing and displacement, and despite the stories of displacement and asylum, the resistance succeeded in passing important messages, within the framework of its tactical behavior to preserve the constants and achievements after a full year of aggression, through the ability to launch rockets at the settlements of the envelope and Tel Aviv and the speech of the military commander Abu Obeida, who emphasized the resistance’s continuation of the war of attrition, despite the losses and injuries, and the return of communication between the head of the Hamas political bureau, Yahya Sinwar, and the outside world, after Israel believed for a period of time that it had succeeded in assassinating him, during one of the bombings of one of the tunnels.

The Palestinian resistance wore the robe of pride and Gaza remained resistant to aggression. Despite the pain and wounds, it will inevitably be washed with the water of pride, presenting pictures of sacrifice, giving and sacrifices that are unprecedented in history, to make another cry, but it is the cry of a wounded lion, against whom circumstances have conspired. Despite everything that has happened, these messages are vital at this time to respond to the Israeli rumors regarding everything related to the course of the war.

The West Bank, which Israel has placed at the forefront of targets for bombing, assassinations and raids, was yesterday on a date with a major Israeli escalation. Since the early morning hours, the raids were renewed in Jenin, Tulkarm, Qalqilya and Nablus in the north, passing through Ramallah and the northern neighborhoods of Jerusalem, Qalandia camp and Kafr Aqab, where the child martyr Hatem Ghaith was killed, and to Bethlehem, where the raids took place, and Hebron, specifically Dura, where the arrests took place, which led to the martyrdom of the elderly man Ziad Abu Halil, the owner of the famous saying (Bahmash) in one of his confrontations with the Israeli army.

Israel, through its intelligence agencies, primarily the Shin Bet and the army command, deliberately spread false news and rumors that activists in Gaza and the West Bank were preparing to carry out raids similar to what happened on October 7 of last year. This propaganda was exploited to increase the pace of bombing and killing civilians in the Gaza Strip, where the number of martyrs rose to more than fifty in 24 hours, while the army declared a state of alert in the West Bank, closed checkpoints and crossings, and claimed that a Palestinian cell was planning to booby-trap a vehicle in the Qalandia camp to target its forces. It launched a large-scale military campaign, confiscated dozens of cars, arrested a large number of young men, and targeted citizens with bullets after raiding and searching their homes.

The bottom line is that the occupation and its measures, hunger and deprivation, will not dissipate the determination of our people who stand in the way of all attempts to undermine their cause. This people, after long suffering and repressive measures, deserves a homeland, independence and freedom.
