Eight members of the Israeli Knesset called on the Israeli Minister of Defense, Yisrael Katz, today, Thursday, to destroy all sources of water, food and energy in the Gaza Strip.

The letter addressed to Katz was signed by members of the so-called Foreign Affairs and Security Committee in the Knesset, claiming that the operations of the occupation army "do not allow the achievement of the war goals set by the political level."

Despite the ongoing crimes of the occupation army in various parts of the Gaza Strip, especially in the north, the Knesset members who signed the letter considered the plan implemented by the occupation army to displace the residents of the north of the Gaza Strip to the south "not being implemented in an appropriate manner."

In their letter, they demanded that Katz reconsider the war plans, and that after besieging the north of the Strip and displacing its residents to the south, the army must destroy the sources of energy, food and water in the area, and kill anyone who moves in this area and does not come out raising a white flag.

They added, "This should be done not only in the northern Gaza Strip, but in any other area."
