West Bank: 18 Palestinians killed as Israeli occupation targets café in Tulkarm camp
18 citizens were killed and others were injured, Thursday evening, in a raid launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on a popular café in Tulkarm camp, north of the West Bank.
The Ministry of Health reported that the number of victims rose to 18.
According to local sources, the occupation aircraft bombed a popular café in the Al-Hamam neighborhood in Tulkarm camp with at least one missile while a number of citizens were present, which led to the death of 18 citizens and the injury of others with varying injuries, according to the Ministry of Health.
The sources indicated that civil defense and ambulance vehicles rushed to the scene, where the victims and wounded were transferred to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews transferred the bodies of fivedead, in addition to one injured person, to the hospital.
Since the beginning of the war of extermination and the comprehensive aggression of the occupation against our people in October of last year, the city of Tulkarm and its two camps: Tulkarm and Nour Shams, have been subjected to several invasions by the occupation’s vehicles and bulldozers, and bombing by aircraft, which resulted in the death of a number of citizens, the injury of others, and widespread destruction of the infrastructure.
The number of killed in the governorate before this massacre reached 152, including 21 children and 4 women, according to data issued by the Ministry of Health.
