Israeli occupation arrests 15 citizens from the West Bank, including a journalist
Since yesterday evening until Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 15 citizens from the West Bank, including journalist Asid Amarneh, in addition to former detainees.
The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club explained that the arrests were distributed across the governorates of Jericho, Qalqilya, Ramallah, Tubas, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem.
In addition, the occupation forces carried out field investigations in the city of Halhul/Hebron with young men who were later released.
The occupation forces continue to carry out extensive raids and abuse during arrest and field investigation campaigns, accompanied by attacks and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent fixed policies, which has escalated in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination.
