A Palestinian teen was killed and a young man was injured by Israeli forces’ bullets in Shuafat camp

A child was killed and a young man was injured, on Wednesday evening, by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in the Shuafat camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that a special unit of the occupation army stormed the camp to carry out an arrest campaign, and fired live bullets at citizens after their plot was exposed, which led to the death of the child Hani Majdi Al-Kari (16 years old) as a result of his critical injury from a bullet to the chest, and the injury of a young man.

The sources added that the occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the camp, which led to the outbreak of clashes, during which the occupation soldiers fired bullets, sound bombs and toxic tear gas.

The sources indicated that the occupation forces arrested five young men from the camp, including journalist Suhaib Masalma.

With the death of child, the death toll in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 707, including 160 children, 10 women, and 9 elderly people.
