Away from despair and frustration... an awakening in American society
Despite the harshness of the scene in the US Congress, where deception, fraud, falsification and hypocrisy are in their ugliest forms and shapes, it is not wise to measure American public opinion and its trends through the standard of Congress and the White House.
Mostly, Jewish money, big corporations and interest groups decide who is a member of Congress and who is not, by supporting their election campaigns worth millions of dollars, and America thus establishes the most corrupt electoral system in history.
American society is a hybrid of several ethnicities, races, religions and nationalities that differ in their tendencies, convictions, interests and priorities. The United States is a federal union that represents fifty states, each with its own ruler and laws. Recently, we have begun to hear rising voices within these states calling for secession and independence from the federal union.
The truth revealed by American research centers and public opinion polls confirms that American society is changing, especially among the youth, including Jewish youth, and this change is hostile to Zionism and to Israel as an occupying force.
A large part of the American elite, especially in cultural circles, have come to realize the danger of the Zionist lobby’s influence and control over their country’s resources, and they express this clearly and openly, something that did not exist in the past, despite the dangers of the laws that shackle them and make them persecuted, especially the so-called anti-Semitism laws, where the ugliest forms of violence and intellectual, moral and material terrorism are practiced against them.
There are many churches in the United States with different doctrinal backgrounds, a significant portion of these churches do not adopt the Israeli narrative, and they have declared positions on this.
The American media, Hollywood and other politicized cultural institutions are no longer able to hide the truth from people in light of the knowledge explosion and the flood of information provided by technology and promoted by various social media sites, despite the harsh fight against Palestinian content and everything that opposes and criticizes Israel and Zionism.
We should not forget the courage of American university students and their inspiring stances against the war of extermination that Israel is committing against our people, nor the stances of many senior officials working in the White House and the US State Department who courageously expressed their rejection of their country’s policies biased towards Israel, and some of whom submitted their resignations as a result.
It is unfortunate to say that one of our well-known disappointments is the presence of dozens of ambassadors from Arab and Islamic countries in Washington who do not play any effective role in serving the issues of their nation, in addition to the weakness and fragility of Arab and Islamic institutions in America compared to the Jewish ones.
Most importantly, we are required to change for the better in order to be convincing to others and gain their respect, and then be able to influence our surroundings and those around us.
The battle with Zionism is long, difficult and complex. It requires awareness, intelligence, courage, patience and working strategies with a unified collective effort.
Finally, I recall what was previously said by a member of the US Congress known for his support of Arab issues, Paul Findley, when a journalist asked him about his opinion on the reason for the absolute majority in Congress supporting Israel. He replied: “When a member of Congress adopts a position supporting Palestine and Arab issues, he does not receive a single message of support or encouragement from the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims, while he receives hundreds of thousands of messages of condemnation, denunciation and threats from the Zionist lobby and its followers, and vice versa.”
