The United States: strategic policy biased towards Israel..
After US President Joe Biden announced yesterday evening that he would step down from running in the presidential elections and focus on what remains of his current term, it is important to shed light on the American positions on the Palestinian issue, and to emphasize that presidents are merely tools for implementing the established and completely biased American policy in favor of Israel, the ally. And the strategic partner of the United States, and therefore the next president, whoever he is, and from any party, will not change the approach, strategy, and policy of the United States, especially in the Palestinian issue file, which is considered one of the most important files in the world, as the United States was the first country to recognize Israel as an independent state on the fourteenth. From May 1948, during the era of President Harry Truman, Israel became and remains the most important partner of the United States in the Middle East, and in parallel with this recognition that encourages the occupation and colonization of Palestine, by the largest colonial mentality in the world, the United States refused to recognize the Palestine Liberation Organization as the legitimate representative. And the only one for the Palestinian people, and before the October 1973 war, the American administration considered that the Liberation Organization, led by the immortal leader Yasser Arafat, was a terrorist organization, and ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not to conduct contacts with Palestinian officials..
Even during the period in which diplomatic trends and solutions matured, and the Palestinians accepted the two-state solution and recognized the State of Israel, the United States did not recognize the State of Palestine, and there were no diplomatic relations with it, after the closure of the Palestinian mission headquarters in the year 2018, as Palestine no longer had any diplomatic representation. In the United States, American relations with the Palestine Liberation Organization ended.
There are many American positions that are biased in favor of Israel, and there is no doubt that the most prominent of them is former President Donald Trump’s transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem, in a dangerous trend that reveals the truth about the actions emanating from American policy, which emerged for what they are and in their most prominent manifestations through the current President Joe Biden giving Israel’s hand to wage war. The most violent aggression in history against the Palestinian people, providing it with military equipment and ammunition, most notably bombs and missiles of all kinds, all directed at the chests of the Palestinians who fell on the altar of freedom and independence.
American diplomacy towards the Palestinian issue is still characterized by ambiguity and double standards, and although the American administration is at the forefront of the conversation about international legitimacy and international consensus, it is the first to violate that, by using its veto power against United Nations resolutions, to preserve Israel’s transgressions and violations of treaties and laws. International, in addition to the fact that the American policy towards the Palestinian issue is contradictory, as it is the first to acknowledge the political rights of the Palestinian people, but it is the first to reject their most basic rights, foremost of which is the right to self-determination, which the United States rejects.
American support for Israel has not and will not change whether Biden leaves or Trump comes, and the United States will remain Israel’s largest partner, not only at the security and military levels and its support, but also in other commercial, economic, cultural and investment fields.
One president comes and another leaves, and they are all the same... from Biden to Trump to Obama to Bush to Reagan to Bill Clinton and other early presidents, whom history does not remember have a consistent, firm and principled position in favor of the Palestinians, who are not concerned at all by the changes taking place in the United States, because they It will come from the same fixed and unified policy that is reinforced and influenced by the huge Jewish lobby, to be compatible with Israel’s colonial policies, while the Palestinian people are always outside of any political equation in which they obtain their rights, and from here what is happening in the United States cannot be monitored by the Palestinians with a look of hope for a desired change. Because it is very far from reality and will come with the same mentality as presidents who will implement American policy, which is biased towards Israel at the expense of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
