Yesterday, Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched a sharp attack on the United Nations, in response to the inclusion of Tel Aviv on the “blacklist” that commits violations against children in conflict areas.
Netanyahu claimed in a post on X that the United Nations, with its decision, “placed itself on the blacklist of history today when it joined the supporters of Hamas’ killers.”
He also claimed that "the Israeli army is the most moral army in the world, and no imaginary resolution by the United Nations will change that."
In turn, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, attacked the Secretary-General of the international organization, Antonio Guterres, claiming that the one who entered the blacklist "is the Secretary-General who encourages terrorism and his decisions motivated by hatred for Israel."
He added, claiming, according to a statement by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs: “Shame on him! The Secretary-General’s decisions only give terrorists hope to survive, and encourage them to use children in terrorism and prolong the war.”
