Israeli estimates: The Hague Court will order a cessation of the war
Estimates in Israel indicate that the International Court of Justice in The Hague will issue orders tomorrow to stop the war in Gaza.
An Israeli official told the "Israel Hayom" newspaper this morning (Thursday) that there is a high probability that the court that will meet tomorrow will decide on South Africa's request against Israel and announce the issuance of orders.
The two possible scenarios: orders to stop the operation in Rafah, or orders to stop the war in Gaza in general. Last time, at the request of the plaintiff, the court issued orders to increase humanitarian aid, but this time Israel believes that it will not be satisfied with that, but will order a halt to the war in Gaza.
The orders to stop the war are the most dangerous scenario that Israel has feared since the first hearing in The Hague last January, and it may make it difficult for Israel to continue its mission in Gaza, even though Israel repeatedly confirms that it is not committed to the decision to stop the war.
