A 4-stage road map... revealing the details of an “Arab paper” to establish a Palestinian state
A responsible Palestinian source revealed to Sky News Arabia satellite channel, this evening, Wednesday, the details of the Arab paper to establish a Palestinian state.
He said, “The Arab paper drafted by the Arab Six-Party includes a road map of 4 stages, leading to the establishment of the Palestinian state.”
He explained, “The first phase includes restoring the Palestinian Authority’s rule in Gaza, granting the Palestinian government the ability to work, imposing law and order, and reconstructing the Strip.”
He pointed out that “the second phase includes merging areas (A), which are controlled by the Authority, with areas (B), which are subject to the Authority administratively and to Israel security-wise.”
He pointed out that “the second phase also includes developing a plan to reform the Palestinian Authority’s agencies, including restructuring the security services.”
He stated that “the third stage includes launching negotiations on final status issues such as Jerusalem, borders, refugees, and water,” saying that “the fourth and final stage is in which the independence of Palestine is declared, followed by normalization between Israel and the Arab countries.”
He stated that “Saudi Arabia asked US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in the capital, Riyadh, for real guarantees for the establishment of a Palestinian state,” noting that “Blinken did not give an answer to the Arab paper, and expressed objection to unilateral recognition of the Palestinian state.”
He stated, “What is proposed is to reach an agreement that gives the Palestinians more than the Oslo Accords and less than a Palestinian state, before reaching the final stage.”
