Footage broadcast by Al Jazeera showed scenes documenting the killing of an elderly Palestinian by Israeli army soldiers during their storming of a house west of Gaza City.

The video, which Al Jazeera said was taken last November, shows Israeli soldiers exchanging congratulations on the killing of the defenseless elderly Palestinian.

One of the soldiers also laughed after his colleague said that he had killed the elderly man with four bullets, despite the defenseless elderly man raising signs asking them not to kill him.

The video shows the Israeli army soldiers admitting that there was only one person in the semi-destroyed house, yet they continued to fire bullets at him.

One of the soldiers said that it was unfortunate that they did not have shells, otherwise they would have destroyed the entire upper floor where the elderly man was.
