It added that its fighters blew up two Zionist Merkva tanks with explosive devices southeast of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Brigades said that they detonated a thunderbolt anti-personnel device against a Zionist foot force southeast of the Zaytoun neighborhood.
In addition, two Zionist Merkva tanks were targeted with Al-Yassin 105 shells, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
New scenes on Al Jazeera showed battles between the Qassam Brigades and the Israeli army in the Zaytoun neighborhood, targeting tanks, damaging them, and setting up ambushes by Israeli forces.
In a related context, Abu Hamza, spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that the resistance had killed all members of a Zionist force in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood a few days ago.
Pointing out that the resistance has carried out many diverse combat missions against the occupation forces over the past days.
