Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces suddenly and without prior warning demolished a ground construction base located in the Al-Gharasat area, southeast of the town of Faroun, south of Tulkarm.
Local sources reported that the base was built in 1990, and its owners had received a demolition notice more than 10 years ago, along with several other facilities and homes in the area. He pointed out that the case was legally pursued by lawyers from the 1948 territories in an attempt to stop the implementation of the decision, but the owners of the facility were surprised this morning by two bulldozers belonging to the occupation, guarded by its vehicles, carrying out the demolition operation, despite the lack of any prior notice.
He explained that the facility belongs to citizen Abdul Hamid Mustafa Shalabi from the city of Tulkarm, and is about 200 meters away from the racist separation and expansion wall built on the town’s lands, noting that the demolition operations come within the framework of the occupation’s ongoing policy to tighten the noose on citizens and impose a new reality in the areas close to the wall.
