The Hebrew website Ynet revealed, on Sunday, that French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire ignored his Israeli counterpart Bezalel Smotrich's attempts to hold a meeting between them, on the grounds of their participation in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development conference to be held in Paris next month.
According to the Hebrew site, a group of French figures, whether from the Ministry of Finance or Foreign Affairs, and even the Paris municipality, ignored the request of Smotrich's office to coordinate meetings between them and him.
The website pointed out that Smotrich's office appears to have also tried to hold meetings with other officials from the countries participating in the conference, but no coordination has taken place so far.
