A 34-year-old man was killed this afternoon, Friday, after he was shot in the town of Ein Mahel, in the occupied interior, bringing the death toll of murder victims in the Arab community to 63 since the beginning of this year.
Local sources said that the victim was Muhannad Shalabi, a resident of Ein Mahel, who was shot at the entrance to the town, leaving him in critical condition, after which he was transferred to the Italian Hospital in Nazareth.
Arab society is witnessing a continuous escalation in murders and violent incidents, at a time when the Israeli police are failing to play their role in combating crime, amid indications confirming the complicity of the Israeli security services with criminal gangs.
