At dawn on Monday, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a young man in the Nabi Yaqoub area of occupied Jerusalem .
The Israeli police said in a statement that the young man set fire to a settler’s vehicle in the same neighborhood, and also damaged 10 others.
She claimed that her forces arrived at the place and asked him to take off his coat, but he did not respond, and a policeman fired one bullet at him, injuring him, and he was taken for treatment after his arrest, noting that his condition is serious.
She indicated that the young man is a resident of East Jerusalem and in his twenties, and that suspicions indicate that he did so on a national background.
