This came during the President's inspection tour of the headquarters of the General Passports Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, to see the progress of work on issuing the Palestinian "biometric" passport according to the latest internationally approved specifications.
The President said, This is good news for the Palestinian citizen, and it is a source of pride for all of us that the new Palestinian passport works in accordance with the highest international standards approved by the most prestigious countries in the world.
