Iran threatens to target American interests if its nuclear facilities are touched

American military operations against targets deep inside Iran entered their eleventh day, amidst a sharp escalation in the language of threat between Tehran and Washington, which portends an expansion of the direct confrontation in the region.

Official Iranian sources quoted the Supreme Joint Military Command as issuing a strong warning, in which it affirmed that any American attempt to strike nuclear facilities would be met with a decisive response targeting American interests and the interests of Washington's allied countries directly.
