Five martyrs, including a child, in a series of Israeli raids and demolition operations in the Gaza Strip

The Civil Defense and a hospital in the Gaza Strip announced today, Sunday, the martyrdom of five Palestinians, including a child, and the injury of others in raids carried out by an Israeli drone and gunfire, at a time when Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement reached last October continue.

Medics reported that Israeli fire targeted a camp in the eastern part of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, leading to the martyrdom of Palestinian child Tala Abu Matar (9 years old).

In another raid, Israel targeted a workshop in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 Palestinians. Eyewitnesses said that 3 Israeli missiles hit the site.

Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said: "4 martyrs and a number of injuries due to shelling from an Israeli drone that targeted a blacksmith workshop in Al-Rayes neighborhood in Al-Sabra, south of Gaza City."

Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza confirmed "the arrival of 4 martyrs due to the Israeli shelling that targeted Al-Rayes neighborhood in Al-Sabra, south of Gaza City."

In a related context, a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital stated that Palestinian Mahmoud Muhammad Musleh was martyred due to his injuries, on Friday, from gunfire by the Israeli army east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip.

Also, a medical source at Nasser Medical Complex reported the martyrdom of Palestinian Muhammad Majed Abu Sneida, due to injuries he sustained yesterday, Saturday, in a raid by an Israeli drone in the vicinity of Bani Suhaila roundabout east of Khan Yunis in the southern Strip.

Earlier on Sunday morning, the Israeli army blew up homes and facilities belonging to Palestinians within the areas it controls south of Khan Yunis city and east of Gaza City.

The Israeli army also carried out at least 5 demolition operations south of Khan Yunis city, while it carried out a sixth demolition operation east of Gaza City.

Israeli violations since last October until Saturday have resulted in the martyrdom of 1098 Palestinians and the injury of 3535 others, according to data from the Ministry of Health in the Strip.

This escalation comes at a time when leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" are visiting Cairo for a new round of discussions regarding the implementation of the second phase of US President Donald Trump's plan for Gaza.

Currently, about two million Palestinians live in the Gaza Strip, most of them in temporary tents or damaged buildings due to the war, while the displaced, many of whom have been displaced several times, constitute the vast majority of the population.
