The United Nations said on Friday that "forced displacement forced thousands of Palestinians to leave the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and reside in temporary shelters among the rubble and on the beach."
The United Nations added, in a post on its account on the “X” platform, “Once again, forced displacement forces the residents of Gaza to search for safety.”
She explained, "Thousands of Palestinians left Khan Yunis and set up temporary shelters among the rubble and on the beach."
The United Nations also attached pictures showing Palestinian families transporting their belongings during the exodus, and others setting up tents on the seashore.
