He holds his heart in his hands, wrapped in white, drenched in blood. Sometimes he kisses it, sometimes he scatters the flies from his face, as he continues walking towards the cemetery, the cemetery that is crowded with corpses, and has become a home for the displaced, after the earth, despite its vastness, became too narrow for them from the endless wandering that seemed to have no end, when the pursuers in the blazing fire pitched their tents on the seashore.

Her handkerchief stained with blood, her face covered in dust, a mother who is not yet forty kisses her baby girl, trying in vain to wake her from her last slumber, stroking her cheeks and entering into a syndrome of crying that breaks the heart, screaming, ululating from the intensity of the pain that almost tears the chests apart, and rips out the hearts filled with the pain of loss, for which there is no cure except by having the patience of the prophets.

Did I write? I don’t know what I did. Or I think I bled to the sound of the hoarse, wounding ululations that never left my ears, haunting me like a ghost that follows me in my quiet and my uproar…

May God help the mothers in Gaza...the pain of loss...the bleeding sighs...and moving under the bombardment in front of the aid traps...!!

Trump and Netanyahu agree to end the war in Gaza, and the latter will visit Washington soon.

US President Donald Trump is seeking to move forward with what he has described as a "grand bargain," including ending the war in Gaza, releasing Israeli hostages held in the Strip, and "progress" toward normalization with additional Arab countries, according to multiple Israeli reports Thursday evening.

This was reported by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan 11), the Walla website, the Israel Hayom newspaper website, and Yedioth Ahronoth via its Ynet website.

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation quoted sources in Washington and Tel Aviv as saying that Netanyahu is in talks to visit the United States and meet with Trump soon.

"The victory opens an opportunity for a significant expansion of the peace agreements, along with the release of our hostages," Netanyahu said in a video clip released Thursday evening. "There is a golden opportunity that must not be missed, and not a single day must be wasted."

Israel's Channel 13 quoted senior Israeli officials as saying, "Talks are underway for dramatic moves in the Middle East, and the Prime Minister will visit Washington soon."

Linking the ceasefire in Gaza to normalization agreements

US officials said that "significant efforts are being made to achieve a breakthrough in the hostage deal talks. Significant momentum has been generated following the attack on Iran, and we can speak of progress," according to what Yedioth Ahronoth reported on its website, Ynet.

"The Qataris are very controlling, and their message is that agreements with Hamas can be reached," officials said.

According to Israeli officials involved in the talks, the report stated, "Israel will not send a delegation to Cairo or Doha because Netanyahu wants to conclude the talks at the highest possible levels, and this time, the agreement is comprehensive."

He added, "It won't be like any ordinary agreement, with a delegation sent and talks held with Hamas. Rather, it will come from the top with the approval and joint decision of Netanyahu, Trump, Witkoff, and Dermer."

The sources added, "The deal they are discussing is broader in scope, and includes a ceasefire, the return of the fifty (Israeli) hostages, and expanding the scope of the Abraham Accords. This is what matters to Trump."

The Israeli army reinforces its forces in Gaza, and families of hostages seek to meet with Trump.

According to Israeli Channel 12, the families of the Israeli hostages received messages over the past 24 hours from high-ranking US officials stating that they "are seeking to push for a broader move, including a comprehensive agreement, to end the war in Gaza."

The channel noted that this coincides with Netanyahu's statement on Thursday that there is an attempt to link a comprehensive agreement for the release of the hostages to an attempt to expand the scope of the "peace agreements."

According to the channel, the Israeli army is reinforcing its forces in the Gaza Strip to pressure Hamas to agree to a comprehensive agreement.

Quadrilateral conversation; basic principles agreed upon

Israel Hayom reported that a four-way phone call took place immediately after the US attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, noting that it included the US president, his Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, the Israeli prime minister, and Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer.

Israel Hayom quoted a source familiar with the conversation as saying that the four were extremely enthusiastic about the results of the B-2 bomber operation and were, in the words of the source, "extremely euphoric." However, the four's "complete satisfaction" stemmed not only from the operational aspects, "but also from the steps they are planning for the future."

According to the report, Trump and Netanyahu aim to "accelerate the conclusion of new peace agreements with Arab states, as part of expanding the scope of the Abraham Accords."

According to the Israel Hayom report, the following principles were agreed upon:

  • The war in Gaza is set to end within two weeks. The terms of its termination include four Arab countries, including Egypt and the UAE, taking over the governance of the Gaza Strip in place of Hamas. The remaining Hamas leadership will be deported to other countries, and the Israeli hostages will be released.
  • Several countries around the world will receive a large number of Gaza residents wishing to emigrate from them.
  • The Abraham Accords will be expanded, and Syria, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab and Islamic countries will recognize Israel and establish formal relations with it.
  • Israel will express its readiness for a future solution to the conflict with the Palestinians, within the framework of the "two-state solution," conditional on "reforms" within the Palestinian Authority.
  • The United States will recognize "specified" Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank.

The report stated that this vision was discussed in a conversation between the four officials on Monday night and Tuesday, and that "this vision aims to be quickly implemented, and the first step is to end the war in Gaza."

Israel Hayom, citing two unnamed political sources, reported that there was significant pressure from the US president on Netanyahu to end the war on Gaza. The sources noted that this pressure began even before the Israeli operation against Iran and resumed immediately after it ended. However, another source said that "the nature of this pressure is unknown."

The report stated that American fears of the collapse of the ambitious plan were one of the reasons for President Trump's intense anger at the Israeli attacks after he announced a ceasefire with Iran, in a conversation in which Trump demanded that Netanyahu "ground the aircraft."

The report stated that Trump told Netanyahu that he "did not understand how, after they had agreed on a strategic peace plan, Netanyahu could derail it over a minor tactical incident involving an Iranian missile."

An expected visit to Washington and its possible date

The Walla news website quoted four senior Israeli officials as saying that Netanyahu is interested in visiting the White House and meeting with the US president "within the coming weeks."

While the report stated that Trump and Netanyahu consider "the war with Iran a major achievement and a fundamental part of their legacy; this meeting will allow them to attempt to formulate a historical narrative of events and discuss a joint strategy for the future," an Israeli official was quoted as saying, "There is no doubt that both sides have a shared interest in holding a 'victory celebration' after the war with Iran."

Two Israeli officials said that preliminary talks have already taken place between Netanyahu's advisors and White House officials regarding a possible visit, "but no date has yet been set."

According to the report, "One of the options on the table is for the visit to take place in the second week of July."

Trump's remarks on Netanyahu were part of a "broader movement."

According to Kan 11, the US President's statements regarding the trial of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu "were not published in vain, but rather came within the framework of a broad effort aimed at ending the war in Gaza, releasing all hostages, ending Netanyahu's trial, and an important regional step."

According to the same source, this is part of a "comprehensive political effort, in which other international actors also participate."

Kan also quoted a source close to Netanyahu as saying that President Trump's advisors "participated in the tweet, and that it did not come out of nowhere."

According to the source, the idea is to "prepare public opinion in Israel for a pardon for Netanyahu."

"Secret talks" regarding Netanyahu's trial

In a related development, Israel's Channel 12 reported that Netanyahu's lawyer, Amit Hadad, "recently held secret talks with retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Aharon Barak to end Netanyahu's trial," after Hadad asked Barak to meet with him.

The report stated that shortly before the prime minister's interrogation began last month, a secret meeting was held at the home of retired judge Barak in Tel Aviv. The meeting was attended by attorney Haddad, attorney Jack Hen, attorney Shaul Elovitch, Professor Barak Medina, a leading opponent of the "legal reform," and former Supreme Court President Barak.

At the meeting, the former Supreme Court chief justice made two comments, urging the lawyers to accept Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara's agreement to act as a mediator between the two parties.

According to the report, "Baharav-Miara has so far rejected all requests from judges to initiate such mediation."

Netanyahu: We fought Iran with determination and achieved a great victory.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that "besides freeing the hostages and defeating Hamas, there are opportunities that we must not miss, even for a single day."

"We fought Iran with determination and achieved a great victory. This victory paves the way for a significant expansion of the peace agreements," he said in a video distributed by his office.

In a related development, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said in a press briefing that US President Donald Trump is "prepared for a visit by Netanyahu."

The American news website Axios reported on Thursday, citing three Israeli officials, that Netanyahu wants to meet Trump at the White House in the coming weeks to celebrate the joint bombing of Iran's nuclear program.

Two officials said that preliminary discussions have already taken place between Netanyahu's advisors and White House officials regarding a possible visit, but no date has yet been set.

"There is a shared interest on both sides in holding a victory celebration after the war with Iran," one official said, while another said the visit could take place in the second week of July.

Meanwhile, sources told Axios that Trump, following the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, is currently focusing on ending the war in the Gaza Strip and promoting peace agreements between Israel and its neighbors.

"Trump wants to reach a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in Gaza as soon as possible," an informed source said.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns the continued crimes of the Israeli occupation against our people.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the escalation of aggression and organized terrorism perpetrated by extremist settler groups and the Israeli occupation forces, and the systematic destruction of infrastructure in refugee camps in the West Bank.

In a statement issued Thursday, the organization called for the need to achieve justice by holding the Israeli occupation accountable for all crimes it commits throughout the Palestinian territories.

She warned of the seriousness of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing crimes of genocide, starvation, blockade, and systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure perpetrated by the occupation, which constitute crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and international humanitarian law.

The organization affirmed its rejection of a mechanism for distributing humanitarian aid that exposes civilians to direct targeting and killing while waiting to receive aid. It reiterated its call on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibilities by imposing an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, opening all crossings, allowing sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to enter all parts of the Gaza Strip, and providing international protection for the Palestinian people.

WHO delivers its first medical shipment to Gaza since early March

The World Health Organization delivered its first medical shipment to Gaza since March 2, its director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced Thursday. However, he added that the nine trucks represent "a drop in the ocean," according to Agence France-Presse.

Tedros said in a post on the X platform that the supplies will be distributed to priority hospitals within days.

Israel imposed a comprehensive blockade on the Gaza Strip on March 2. After more than two months, it began allowing some food supplies into the Strip, but has not yet allowed any other aid into the Strip.

Tedros explained that "nine trucks loaded with essential medical supplies, including 2,000 units of blood and 1,500 units of plasma," crossed into the Palestinian enclave through the Kerem Shalom crossing "without any looting, despite the dangerous conditions along the way." He added that "these supplies will be distributed to priority hospitals in the coming days."

The UN official noted that "blood and plasma were delivered to the cold storage facility at Nasser Medical Complex for distribution to hospitals facing severe shortages amid a growing influx of casualties, many of which are linked to incidents at food distribution sites."

Last week, the World Health Organization said that 17 of Gaza's 36 hospitals were operating at a minimal or only partially, while the rest were unable to function at all.

More on the way

Tedros noted that four WHO trucks remain at the Kerem Shalom crossing, with more on their way to Gaza.

"These medical supplies are just a drop in the ocean. Large-scale aid is essential to save lives," he added.

He continued: "The World Health Organization calls for the immediate, unhindered, and sustainable delivery of health aid to Gaza through all possible means."

Israel began gradually allowing supplies into Gaza at the end of May, after a comprehensive blockade that lasted more than two months, but distribution has been marred by chaotic scenes and near-daily reports of Israeli forces shooting at Palestinians waiting for food rations.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, supported by the United States and Israel, has been distributing food in Gaza since May 26.

However, the United Nations and major aid organizations refused to cooperate with the organization, whose funding sources were opaque, due to concerns that it was established to serve Israeli military objectives.

Israel is intensifying its bombardment of the Gaza Strip, in a military offensive it says aims to defeat Hamas, whose unprecedented attack on the south of the Jewish state in October 2023 led to the outbreak of war.

Ratcliffe: US strikes inflicted 'significant damage' on Iran's nuclear program

CIA Director John Ratcliffe said Wednesday that US airstrikes last Saturday "inflicted significant damage" on Iran's nuclear program, while the Trump administration insisted that the initial report, issued by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), was based on preliminary and outdated assessments.

Classified intelligence on damage to Iran's nuclear program from US strikes was at the center of a political storm on Wednesday, with intelligence chiefs pushing for new assessments and President Trump continuing to defend his assertion that Iran's key facilities had been "destroyed."

While other US spy agencies are assessing the damage, none of these agencies have supported Mr. Trump's description of the level of destruction caused by the US attack, although they all confirmed that the damage was extensive.

The Defense Intelligence Agency report was based on information obtained just over 24 hours after the US attacks on three Iranian nuclear sites.

The report described the level of damage as moderate to severe, according to people familiar with or familiar with its contents.

One of these people said that if the Defense Intelligence Agency's assumption that Fordow, the deepest underground site, had sustained moderate damage was correct, the facility would be rendered inoperable and Iran would not attempt to rebuild its enrichment capabilities there. The report added that if this assumption proves incorrect, Iran could quickly build a nuclear weapon within months.

The report estimated that the nuclear program had generally been delayed by months, according to leaked information. However, the report's conclusion indicated "low confidence" in this finding, reflecting the preliminary nature of the assessment and the variables and uncertainty that intelligence agencies have long struggled with in predicting Iran's nuclear progress.

CNN and other news agencies have reported that the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has found that Iran's nuclear program has been delayed by only a few months.

The CIA offered a different assessment on Wednesday, with Ratcliffe saying it had gathered new information about the state of Iran's nuclear program and the sites struck by US bombers.

“This includes new intelligence from a reliable and historically accurate source/method that many of Iran’s key nuclear facilities have been destroyed and will need to be rebuilt over the course of years,” Ratcliffe said in a statement.

The National Security Agency, which focuses on intercepting phone and internet communications, is studying what the Iranians are saying about the strikes and the fate of their uranium stockpiles. Officials said the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, which studies satellite imagery, was monitoring movements around nuclear sites in the days leading up to the US strikes.

Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, posted new intelligence on social media showing that it would take years if Iran chose to rebuild the three sites hit by the US attack.

The officials added that her comment was also based on new US intelligence gathered since the Defense Intelligence Agency's report was written on Sunday. The new intelligence relates to existing facilities targeted by US strikes, not whether Iran could use other covert facilities to further its nuclear weapons work. Battles over intelligence agencies' conclusions have been at the heart of US foreign policy debate for more than two decades, from warnings about al-Qaeda before the September 11, 2001, attacks, to intelligence about Iraqi weapons programs used by the George W. Bush administration to justify the 2003 invasion of Iraq, which was later disproved, to blaming the Chinese government for the spread of the coronavirus.

For his part, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth argued that bombing Iran's nuclear sites likely caused "significant damage," just days after reports emerged that the military's intelligence arm had assessed Tehran's program as only a few months behind schedule.

In a tense press conference on Thursday, Hegseth did not deny the report's findings, but argued that its assessments were "preliminary" and "low confidence."

"This was a historically successful attack," Hegseth said.

The Senate was also scheduled to hear from intelligence officials on Thursday, but the administration decided that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also the interim national security adviser, and Defense Secretary Hegseth would deliver the briefing. Administration officials agreed to Ratcliffe's attendance after senators expressed concern about the absence of intelligence officials from the briefing, according to a person familiar with the briefing plans. At a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Wednesday, Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the panel's top Democrat, expressed hope that government officials could address the discrepancies between Mr. Trump's claims and the fact that "the intelligence may not be as rosy."

"This repeated pattern of manipulating or distorting intelligence to support a political narrative is deeply troubling," Warner said. "We've seen where this road leads."

Trump's angry responses to the news reports, delivered during a press conference at the NATO summit in the Netherlands, focused on the extent of the damage caused by the attacks on two nuclear sites, at Natanz and Fordow, buried under a mountain and secured by hundreds of feet of concrete, as well as a separate cruise missile attack on a site in Isfahan.

The DIA report became a flashpoint in public debate.

Much of the controversy stemmed from Trump's choice of words within hours of the strikes, as B-2 bomber pilots were still returning to their base in Missouri. He said that the Iranian nuclear sites struck by the United States had been "totally destroyed"—an assessment not directly echoed by any intelligence official.

However, the damage to the three sites is only one part of a larger question about the extent to which all aspects of Iran's nuclear program were crippled by the US attack and the nearly two-week Israeli war. Israel killed Iranian nuclear scientists, eliminated military officials, and bombed enrichment facilities before the US military sent in its bombers.

Various intelligence agencies in the United States, Israel, and Europe are now racing to determine exactly how much damage has been done to the Iranian program, how much remains, and what Iran will now choose to do—abandon the program or become even more determined to get the bomb, something Mr. Trump has expressed confidence it will not do.

Iran has other nuclear sites, and officials said other information, including comments from the International Atomic Energy Agency, indicates the Iranians have moved a significant portion of their enriched uranium stockpile. If Iran decides to move quickly to build a bomb, it is unlikely to use the facilities targeted in the US strike, but it likely has plenty of raw materials and the expertise to continue, experts say.

The occupation continues its aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps for the 151st day.

Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 151st consecutive day, and on the Nour Shams camp for the 138th day, amid ongoing escalation and military reinforcements, accompanied by the demolition of homes.

According to local sources, over the past few days and weeks, the occupation forces have carried out demolition and bulldozing operations against residential buildings in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, using heavy bulldozers. These operations resulted in extensive destruction to these homes, which collapsed completely, turning neighborhoods into empty spaces covered in dust and ruin. Wide streets were created in their place, separating the neighborhoods from each other.

She added that the occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the two camps and their surroundings, with infantry units, military vehicles, and heavy bulldozers deployed in alleys and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes or checking on their property, amid direct gunfire targeting anyone approaching the area.

This ongoing daily escalation comes as part of a plan announced by the occupation authorities last May to demolish 106 buildings in both camps, including 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp alone, comprising more than 250 housing units and dozens of commercial establishments, in addition to 48 buildings in Nour Shams camp, under the pretext of opening roads and changing geographical features.

The escalation has led to the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens, and the complete destruction of more than 500 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others. Meanwhile, the entrances to the camps remain blocked with barriers, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.

In a related context, the occupation forces today sent military reinforcements of vehicles and infantry units to the city and its suburbs, at a time when the occupation forces are witnessing intensive movements of occupation vehicles around the clock, as they deliberately obstruct the movement of citizens and vehicles, especially in the middle of the market, and pursue them, while sounding their horns in a provocative manner, and driving against the traffic, endangering the lives of citizens.

Today, the occupation forces stormed the Dhenaba suburb east of the city, and tore up pictures of the martyr Ali Abu Khazna near the old Dhenaba mosque.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to transform Nablus Street into a military barracks, continuing their seizure of a number of residential buildings there, as well as parts of the city's northern neighborhood, specifically those facing Tulkarm refugee camp. The occupation forces forcibly evacuated residents of these neighborhoods, some of which have been under occupation control for more than four months, and have deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers in the vicinity.

This street, which serves as a link between the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, has also suffered significant damage due to earth mounds placed by the occupation forces several months ago. The occupation forces are also heavily present, setting up flying and surprise checkpoints, obstructing vehicle movement and exacerbating the suffering of civilians.

The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of people have been injured and arrested, and widespread destruction has been caused to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.

Netanyahu requests postponement of his trial due to "regional and international developments"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu submitted a formal request to the Jerusalem District Court on Thursday to cancel his scheduled testimony in his corruption trial over the next two weeks, "due to extremely important regional, international, and security developments."

The request, submitted by Netanyahu's lawyer, Amit Hadad, stated that in the wake of the war on Iran, as well as "additional regional and international developments, the prime minister is required to devote all of his time and energy to addressing first-order political, national, and security issues, including managing the war on Gaza and handling the prisoners' file."

The request added, "Under these exceptional circumstances, the honorable court is requested to cancel the sessions in which the prime minister was scheduled to testify over the next two weeks." Defense attorneys indicated that they will attempt to summon additional defense witnesses during this period "as much as possible."

Earlier today, Netanyahu shared a post by US President Donald Trump calling for his trial to be canceled. Netanyahu wrote, "Thank you, President Trump, for your moving support for me and for your tremendous support for Israel and the Jewish people." He added, "We will continue to work together to defeat our common enemies, free our captives, and quickly expand the circle of peace."

Trump called on Israel to "immediately cancel" Netanyahu's corruption trial, describing the case against the "warrior" as a "witch hunt." In a lengthy message posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote, "Such a persecution of a man who has done so much is unbelievable to me."

The US President considered that Netanyahu "deserves much better, and so does the State of Israel. Bibi Netanyahu's trial must be immediately dropped or a great hero pardoned." He posted, "I just learned that Bibi will be summoned to court on Monday."

"Bibi and I have just been through hell, fighting Israel's long-time archenemy, Iran, and Bibi could not have been better, more intense, or more passionate about the amazing Holy Land," he added. Netanyahu's trial has been postponed several times since it began in May 2020, with his lawyers requesting it be postponed due to the war on Gaza and later the war on Lebanon.

In the first case, Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, are accused of accepting luxury gifts, such as cigars, jewelry, and champagne, worth more than $260,000, from wealthy individuals in exchange for political favors. In two other cases, he is accused of seeking more favorable media coverage in Israeli media outlets.

In his post, Trump recalled the military support his country provided to Israel during the war on Iran, saying, "The United States saved Israel, and now the United States will be the one saving Bibi Netanyahu."

The occupation has turned its prisons and camps into arenas for torturing detainees.

Prisoners' institutions (the Commission of Prisoners' Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, and the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association) said that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to escalate the use of systematic torture crimes against prisoners and detainees in prisons and camps, which have been transformed into torture arenas.

The institutions added in a joint statement, issued Thursday, on the occasion of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, that the post-genocide period represented a turning point in assessing the scale of crimes committed by the occupation authorities and their various agencies, and the serious repercussions resulting from the widespread use of this crime, which led to the martyrdom of dozens of detainees and prisoners, making this the bloodiest period in the history of the prisoner movement.

The organizations noted that since the beginning of the war of extermination, the relevant institutions have obtained dozens of testimonies and reports that reflect the escalation of torture crimes, beginning with the moment of arrest, through the investigation phase, which is the most prominent stage in the commission of these crimes, and ending with the prisons where these practices continue through various policies and tools.

She explained that the policy of torture is no longer limited to the investigation phase for the purpose of extracting confessions, but rather the occupation has sought to "innovate" methods and tools that have contributed to entrenching this crime in the details of prisoners' daily lives, and this has become more prominent in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the genocide.

With the escalation of arrest campaigns and field investigations, which have targeted thousands of citizens, including women and children, torture has escalated in an unprecedented manner in terms of scale and intensity. The testimonies of detainees and released prisoners provide vivid evidence of these crimes, along with the psychological effects these policies have had on them.

Detainees' testimonies revealed multiple methods of psychological and physical torture, beginning with the brutal moment of arrest and continuing with systematic intimidation, severe beatings, and painful restraints, which led to serious complications, including amputation of limbs for some detainees, particularly those from Gaza. These methods also include: stress positions, crucifixion, electrocution, dousing with scalding water, the use of corrosive chemicals, nail removal, prolonged interrogation accompanied by deprivation of sleep, food, water, and toilet facilities, the use of loud noises (such as disco music), the "diaper" policy, and soldiers urinating on food, water, and even on detainees themselves.

The humiliating and degrading conditions of detention also contributed to the entrenchment of torture crimes, including the escalation of sexual crimes after the genocide, and rape crimes, which resulted in serious injuries, including fractures, and denial of medical treatment. Institutions have documented dozens of cases, particularly since the beginning of the genocide. Prisons witnessed brutal repression in which the occupation forces used batons, electric shock devices, and police dogs, forcing prisoners to undress and assaulting them for hours in the prison yards.

The organizations addressed the photos and videos published by the occupation army since the beginning of the war of extermination, which document the torture of naked detainees, and show acts of physical and psychological humiliation and degradation. These include clips used by the fascist Minister Ben Gvir to boast about his crimes, and other leaked videos documenting the rape of a Gaza detainee in the Sde Teiman camp.

The testimonies of Gaza detainees, in particular, have been particularly notable for the atrocities they contain, particularly in the occupation army camps, which detainees described as "hell," "slaughterhouses," and "one of the gates of hell." Prominent among these sites is the Sde Teiman camp, where dozens were martyred, and where amputations without anesthesia and rape crimes were documented. Other prisons include the Negev, Megiddo, Gilboa, Ofer, and Ofer camp, as well as detention centers and field camps in Gaza, which witnessed torture, field executions, and the use of detainees as human shields.

The organizations also documented the extent of psychological terror in places such as the "Rakefet" section of Ramleh Prison, where legal visits revealed the state of extreme fear and terror experienced by detainees, constituting a form of psychological torture.

The organizations noted that diseases and epidemics have become a systematic tool of torture, with detainees left without treatment. One example is scabies, which detainees suffer from around the clock, leading to severe pain and an inability to meet their needs.

The occupation also turned lawyer visits into a means of humiliation, assaulting prisoners during transfers and in areas without cameras.

In this context, the institutions emphasized that after the genocide, it is no longer possible to list all the torture methods that go beyond what is stipulated in international laws and conventions, as the methods are repeated and varied in each case, which necessitates reconsidering the definition of torture itself and confronting it as an ongoing crime. The institutions emphasize that these methods are not exceptional, but rather an extension of a long history of systematic crimes.

The prisoners' institutions renewed their call for the international human rights system to restore its role, which has declined in the face of the ongoing genocide, and which has lost its ability to protect the humanitarian principles established by international conventions and agreements. Despite some UN reports documenting the occupation's crimes, the lack of practical impact renders them worthless unless real steps are taken, including holding the occupation's leaders accountable before international courts. The institutions affirm the importance of the International Court of Justice's advisory opinion on the "illegality" of the Israeli occupation and call for building on it, particularly with regard to the issue of prisoners and detainees.

The number of prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons exceeds 10,400, including 47 female prisoners, more than 440 children, 3,562 administrative detainees, and 2,214 detainees from Gaza, whom the occupation classifies as "illegal combatants." These figures do not include detainees in Israeli military camps, whose number is estimated in the hundreds.

Since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, 72 detainees have been martyred in occupation prisons and camps, and their identities have been announced. Meanwhile, dozens of detainees in Gaza remain subject to the crime of enforced disappearance.

Ben-Gvir: Halting aid to Gaza brings us closer to victory, and I will raise the issue again with the government.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said that halting the flow of aid to the Gaza Strip "will quickly bring Israel closer to victory," arguing that the continued flow of aid gives Hamas a strong boost and helps it survive.

Ben-Gvir added that he will demand that the aid issue be brought up for a vote again during the next cabinet session, in an attempt to reconsider the decision to allow its entry.

In a separate context, he noted that Israel is a sovereign state, but supported US President Donald Trump's statement, arguing that "the time has come to cancel the trial orchestrated by the deep state," referring to the criticism facing Israeli law enforcement institutions.

Israeli reserve officers: stuck in the Gaza quagmire

Reserve officers in the Israeli army warned that the Israeli army is stuck in the "Gaza quagmire," endangering its forces. They considered that continuing this approach "plays against the army," demanding a "swift military resolution" or "the termination of their mission."

This came, according to what the Israeli Walla news website reported on Wednesday evening, following the killing of seven soldiers in a Palestinian resistance operation in Khan Yunis on Tuesday. Reserve officers noted that the incident revealed the Israeli army's long-standing stumbling block in Gaza.

According to the report, these officers expected the army's General Staff to "carry out a broad operation against Hamas, including rapid control of areas and the cleansing of them" of resistance elements with "great force."

The report indicated that the end of this operation, according to the officers' perception, should lead to a decisive confrontation with Hamas, paving the way either for negotiations on a prisoner exchange deal, or for a political step leading to the release of the prisoners following military pressure.

However, on the ground, according to the report, the pace of combat operations has slowed, and some of the forces operating in Gaza have been redeployed to other fronts. The report noted that continuing this approach "plays against the army" and leads to losses among its forces.

In connection with the investigation into the Khan Yunis ambush: A resistance fighter climbed onto an armored vehicle and threw an explosive device, killing 7 soldiers.

The report quoted reserve officers as telling senior commanders in the General Staff who had conducted field tours of the area: "Reserve brigades were called up for four or five tours, and we told them: 'Either you decide, or you release us.' The slow pace of fighting in Gaza is putting soldiers at risk."

According to the report's assessments, Israel's political leadership will soon be forced to make a decision: either launch a large-scale ground incursion, despite the heavy price, to resolve the confrontation with Hamas, or pursue a prisoner release deal.

Yesterday evening, Wednesday, Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said that the Israeli government is deceiving its public and throwing its soldiers into the "Gaza quagmire" to serve illusory political goals.

Abu Obeida said, "The enemy government is deceiving its people and ignoring the fact that it is throwing its soldiers into the Gaza quagmire for illusory political purposes." He emphasized that "the funerals and corpses of enemy soldiers will become a regular occurrence as long as the occupation's aggression and criminal war against our people continues."

This comes after seven Israeli soldiers were killed in an ambush carried out by the Qassam Brigades on Tuesday in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The army acknowledged the killing, saying the soldiers belonged to the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion, and acknowledged that two other soldiers were injured, one of them critically.

On Wednesday, the Qassam Brigades broadcast footage documenting the ambush targeting two Israeli armored personnel carriers in Khan Yunis. The Brigades stated that "the operation was carried out near the Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Ma'an area, south of Khan Yunis." It added that it was part of a series of "Stones of David" operations.

The video clip, published by Al-Qassam, began with footage of Israeli vehicles moving around the area. Armored personnel carriers, tanks, and bulldozers were clearly visible, along with scenes of Israeli soldiers mounted on them in exposed positions.

Later footage shows the moment the ambush was carried out, which focused on targeting two of these vehicles. One of the Qassam Brigades fighters moved toward the rear vehicle, while another fighter, carrying a camera, advanced toward the front vehicle.

The video documented the moment an explosive device was thrown into the first tanker from its upper hatch, before the perpetrator withdrew from the scene. Seconds later, a loud explosion was heard targeting the front tanker, immediately followed by a second explosion targeting the rear tanker.

Al-Qassam Brigades said the two explosions were caused by the detonation of two explosive devices, "Shawaz" and "Fedayeen," which set the two tankers on fire and killed seven soldiers, including an officer, according to the Israeli military.

Witkoff points to "significant announcements" coming regarding more countries joining the Abraham Accords.

US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff told CNBC on Wednesday that more countries are expected to join the Abraham Accords normalization agreement with Israel. Witkoff also noted ongoing discussions with Iran regarding its nuclear program.

"We believe we have significant announcements regarding countries joining the Abraham Accords," Witkoff said, without specifying which countries might be participating.

Regarding Iran, Witkoff expressed hope for a comprehensive peace agreement, noting a "strong sense of Iran's readiness" to move toward peace. He added that current talks with Iranian officials are focused on establishing a civilian nuclear program. However, he emphasized a key condition: "It cannot be enriched."

"Iran's attempt to enrich uranium again is a red line," Witkoff added.

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that American and Iranian officials would hold talks next week, raising cautious hopes for a long-term peace deal a day after a fragile ceasefire held despite Tehran's insistence that it will not abandon its nuclear program.

Trump, who negotiated the ceasefire that took effect Tuesday on the 12th day of Israel's war on Iran, confirmed at the NATO summit in The Hague that he was not particularly interested in resuming negotiations with Iran, insisting that US strikes had destroyed its nuclear program.

"We might make a deal, I don't know. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think it's that necessary," Trump said. "From my perspective, they fought, and the war is over."

A number of US media outlets questioned the results of the strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

These outlets published a leaked preliminary intelligence assessment stating that the US airstrikes did not destroy Iran's nuclear capability but merely delayed its development by a few months.

"The intelligence...is not entirely conclusive," the US president told reporters during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

He added: "Intelligence says we don't know. It may have been very serious. That's what the intelligence indicates, but I think we can accept the phrase 'we don't know.' The damage was very serious. It was complete destruction."

Iran insists it will not abandon its nuclear program, and its parliament has approved a motion that would effectively halt the country's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Iran has also not confirmed any talks next week, and an Iranian official questioned whether the United States could be trusted after its weekend attack on Iranian nuclear sites.

Trump attacks Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic candidate for New York mayor.

US President Donald Trump launched a broad attack on Democrats after Indian-origin candidate Zahran Mamdani won the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City.

After Mamdani's victory was announced, Trump sharply attacked Mamdani, describing him as a "100% crazy communist," as he put it.

In his posts on his Truth Social platform, Trump went beyond harsh political criticism to personal criticism, claiming that Mamdani "sounds terrible," has a "raspy voice," and is "not very smart."

The president also noted the support of groups like "the Cortez Squad and all the idiots" for Mamdani, adding that Senator Chuck Schumer is "fawning over him."

Trump called Mamdani's victory "a huge moment in the history of our country," referring to what he sees as a radical shift toward the far left.

The victory of Zohran Mamdani, a self-described "democratic socialist," has sparked widespread controversy in American politics. His campaign focused on important issues facing New Yorkers, such as housing affordability through rent freezes, free bus service, and universal childcare.

This victory is seen as embodying the ongoing struggle between the traditional Democratic Party and its growing progressive base.

Trump did not stop there, but continued to stir controversy in another post in which he addressed the upcoming elections.

In a seemingly sarcastic suggestion, Trump suggested that Democrats should nominate "a low-IQ candidate, like Representative Jasmine Crockett, for president." He also suggested that the "AOC+3," a group led by left-wing Representative Ocasio-Cortez, should hold senior positions in the future administration, such as the vice presidency and three high-ranking Cabinet members.

Trump concluded his post by saying that America would be "really destroyed" under this scenario, referring to the future he envisions under the leadership of these individuals, coinciding with the victory of "the future communist mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani."

It's worth noting that Representative Jasmine Crockett, a congresswoman representing Dallas, has not announced a bid for president or vice president in 2024. News about her focuses on her current role as a rising political figure in the Democratic Party, having recently sought a leadership position on the House Oversight Committee before withdrawing her candidacy.

Crockett is known for her harsh criticism of the Trump administration and her strong social media presence.

Who protects prisoners in times of war? What happened at Megiddo Prison?

Essam Abu Bakr

Essam Abu Bakr

Opinion Writer

In Megiddo Prison, which was formerly a British army camp during the years of its mandate over Palestine and is located near Marj Ibn Amer, approximately 950 prisoners and detainees are held. The prison includes 10 sections where the prisoners live, like in other prisons, under extremely harsh detention conditions, with continuous daily repression and abuse, and the spread of epidemics and skin diseases. The vast majority of them do not receive the necessary medical treatment. Their conditions worsened after October 7, 2023, to a more deteriorating and dangerous extent that was reflected in the overall conditions in the prison. Life in detention has become extremely harsh, with the simplest rules of human behavior and the minimum requirements of international law and international treaties that guarantee the treatment of prisoners and their rights, including the provision of medical treatment, food, and clothing, all of which are guaranteed by international laws.

Human rights reports indicated that dozens of prisoners were injured by interceptor missiles launched while trying to confront Iranian missiles. Limited reports indicated that there were critical injuries among prisoners in prison after the occupying state launched its attack on Iran. There is no room to address the consequences of this war and its objectives, despite the frank talk repeatedly made by the occupation Prime Minister Netanyahu about changing the “face of the Middle East” with all the meanings and connotations that this phrase carries at the level of the map of the region. Perhaps the main topic in these lines is to shed light on the issue of prisoners during wartime, considering it a (forgotten) issue that does not receive the required attention, with the preoccupation with the course of events and developments imposed by a fierce, raging war whose fires may spread to the entire region. At the same time, we must not forget the 20 months of open genocide that did not stop in the Gaza Strip and its impact on the occupied Palestinian territories and Jerusalem in general.

Anyway, back to the topic and the questions it raises that go beyond expressing "deep concern" about what happened due to the media blackout, the suspension of lawyer visits, and the withdrawal of television channels, such that after October 2023, prisoners became completely isolated from the world. The International Red Cross and human rights organizations also do not succeed in visiting all prisons and detention centers except on rare and rare occasions. Here, a series of questions must be raised about the feelings that overwhelm families after hearing about shrapnel falling on their children's rooms in prison? Can anyone imagine the scene without any news at all and no means of communication revealing what happened? Which sections were damaged? How many prisoners? Who are they? And perhaps most importantly, what are the types of injuries? Some reports have mentioned serious injuries. Perhaps the most pressing question is the lack of treatment or transfer of prisoners to hospitals for medical treatment? This directly means that there are wounded prisoners inside the prison who have not been transferred for treatment. This leads to some recently leaked clips about the attacks that the prisoners were subjected to during the past few days and the abuse they were subjected to by prison administrations because of what they called the expression of "joy" in one of the missile batches that Iran launched on the areas of northern occupied Palestine. The short clip shows prisoners who were abused and their rooms were stormed by heavily armed forces of occupation soldiers and a number of prisoners were thrown to the ground after automatic rifles loaded with live bullets were aimed at them. This is not a passing incident but rather a real depiction of what is happening around the clock inside Israeli prisons and detention centers, which summarizes to a large extent the suffering and reflects a small part of what the prisoner endures moment by moment.

The texts of international law and the Geneva Conventions of 1949 clearly and explicitly stipulate the rights of prisoners in times of war and consider the transfer of prisoners from their place of residence to the territory of the occupying state to be a war crime, and guarantee their humane treatment, free from torture, humiliation and degrading treatment. All of this, over the years of occupation, is being flagrantly violated daily, with sworn testimonies from prisoners, both male and female, who were released from captivity, in which they recount horrifying stories of ill-treatment, beatings, starvation and enforced disappearance, in addition to a systematic policy of deliberate medical neglect and a long series of brutal campaigns that prisons have never witnessed before.

What happened to the prisoners since October 7, 2023 is not isolated from a complete context of schools that feed extremist tendencies and the most criminal over the years of conflict. It should not be overlooked. It is not ordinary news reported by some news agencies that is folded into April. What is required today, officially and popularly, and especially on the legal and media levels, is an official, tangible and immediate action that rises to the level of suffering of female and male prisoners, to pressure with all available tools and reveal the truth of what happened in Megiddo, and transfer prisoners to receive treatment for shrapnel wounds, as well as patients who are victims of "Scapius" that is destroying their bodies and other skin diseases, and insist on providing protection for prisoners, and working to stop all forms of aggression and systematic campaigns of revenge against them. We must all work, each in his position and responsibility, out of moral and national duty, to create a clear international legal framework that places its weight firmly under the umbrella of the United Nations and its bodies in order to compel the occupying state to implement international laws and open its prisons and detention centers to international investigation committees. What happened is dangerous and rings an alarm bell. A real danger threatens the lives of prisoners more than ever before after what has been practiced over the past months, and the "Sedeh Teiman" prison near the Gaza Strip is the best witness to the magnitude of the tragedy that the prisoners, both male and female, are experiencing, and more details of which will one day be revealed about the horrific atrocities committed by the occupying state with premeditation and defiance of all international conventions and laws. As for the prisoners, both male and female, despite the suffering, they have the same will that is difficult to break no matter what happens, and they are icons of giving that will not be extinguished no matter how much they try to extinguish their burning vigour.

Netanyahu is on his way out of history and geography

The clock struck seven and the war between Iran and Israel stopped. Trump claimed to be the peacemaker, and Iran claimed victory. Only Netanyahu made no statement, as the sound of the Beersheba rocket drowned out the conversation.

Has Iran's nuclear capability been destroyed? Half by half? A quarter or three-quarters? Where has the heavy water disappeared, and what will happen to Iran's membership in the IAEA? What will happen to the surveillance cameras and monitoring personnel?

After 12 days of bombing, explosions, and assassination, the fate of the heavy water remains unknown. There are no cameras or monitors.

Netanyahu is trying to resort to deception and cunning, perhaps to create an image of victory. He tries to continue the killing for another week, but he doesn't succeed. Two days... one day... and his boss tells him: Not a minute... Tell the pilots to go back where they came from.

Netanyahu bids farewell to his sister, crying, saying, "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you."

Hundreds of thousands of Israelis are sleeping rough in the streets of Sharm el-Sheikh after hotels filled up. Apartments in Cyprus are filling up with migrants. Boats and ships are docking on Greek shores, greeted by citizens with slogans such as "Freedom for Palestine" and "You are not welcome in our country."

The fronts have been exhausted: Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran. Can I open a fifth front? Perhaps Egypt or Pakistan.

Just hours after the Beersheba rocket, three soldiers were killed and 15 others wounded in the Khan Yunis ambush, which has been under bombardment for 627 days.

Fatigue, exhaustion, and the voices of bored soldiers, the sound of demonstrations around the world. Images of famine and the screams of children in the Gaza Strip pierce the walls. Images of prisoners in the hands of their families in front of the government headquarters. Ben-Gvir and Smotrich shout at him: Continue...continue! Netanyahu confirms that he has reached the end, that he has lost his job and the job of Israel. Does he await trial or the fate of Rabin?

Netanyahu is thinking about the moment he is led in handcuffs to court. It doesn't matter which court—it could be an Israeli court or a Belgian one.

The choices are difficult, and in any case, Netanyahu will not remain in power, and he will be erased from history, as well as from geography.

Aid... from a human right to a tool of blackmail

Amin Al-Hajj

Amin Al-Hajj

Opinion Writer

International aid to the Palestinians has never been a purely technical measure or a neutral humanitarian response. Rather, it has been tied to political balances or power struggles. Even if it appears to be economic or service-based support, it often conceals conditions that undermine the very essence of Palestinian decision-making independence. With the continuation of the occupation, the deepening division, the erosion of the political horizon, and the raging war on Gaza, aid has transformed from a means of support to a tool of control and subjugation, and even a weapon brandished against the Palestinians.

Palestinians, who for decades had been blessed with freedom, return, and a state, joined the revolution, sacrificing their lives and years for the sake of their dream. They later discovered that what was presented to them as a "national project" was merely a facade to enable projects and investments by individuals who bore the label of "nationalists." These projects were later rebranded as a "national project," while the true essence of liberation and popular representation was lost.

The fundamental shift actually began after Oslo, when aid to the nascent Palestinian Authority was linked to its commitment to the negotiating process, even if it was for the purpose of perpetuating "negotiations for the sake of negotiation," or consolidating the status of "no solution," and conferring de facto legitimacy on the continuation of the occupation.

After the Palestinian Authority was formally granted the status of an entity with political and administrative jurisdiction, it was forced - or so it was promoted - to coordinate with the occupation in the most minute details of Palestinians' lives, within an equation that did not end the occupation, but rather established it as a security official responsible for their lives, and an administrative partner in its daily details. This was the beginning of emptying the Authority of its sovereign dimension, and aid of its legal dimension, in order to reshape the political structure according to the logic of control, not liberation. Development disappeared, and in its place came a fragile economic model based on dependency, not production, that could not withstand any shock, even a passing one, and was completely dependent, without the intrinsic ability to disengage or stand alone. This made the Palestinians pay the price of the connection, as well as the attempts at disengagement. Consequently, the support was not aimed at empowerment, but rather as an anesthetic needle, or an attempt to beautify the occupation's face, making it acceptable, controlling the Palestinians so that they would "voluntarily" line up within the system of control, without direct cost to the occupation.

The parties involved in the aid system are diverse, each with its own private and public agenda. The United States, previously the largest "donor," has suspended its aid more than once as political retribution. Despite adopting a more "balanced" discourse, the Europeans' funding is tied to technical conditions that have political applications, such as curricula or expenditure oversight mechanisms. Conversely, Arab contributions have gradually declined amid regional shifts, leaving the Palestinians defenseless against pressure from Western donors.

The irony is that aid designed to support the Palestinians' steadfastness and help them realize their national rights has become a tool for controlling collective behavior, directing political decisions, and perpetuating geographic and institutional divisions. It is subject to Israeli security conditions, making it a funding tool to ensure the PA remains within a defined political framework.

Politicization has not been limited to political decisions, but has also affected the very fabric of society. Large sectors have become dependent on external jobs or projects, deepening the fragility of the economy and making any threat to halt funding an effective tool for pressure. This has strengthened the influence of donor bureaucracies and NGOs at the expense of official and civil society institutions.

Politicization reached its peak in Gaza during the aggression, when aid was transformed from a lifeline into a mass death trap, claiming the lives of hundreds as they tried to access it. It was completely emptied of its humanitarian dimension, and was presented as bait or an optical illusion, rather than as an international moral response. In other words, it became a symbol of the collapse of the global humanitarian system and its complicity through silence or impotence in the face of the crimes of starvation and genocide.

In this context, a fateful question arises: Are Palestinians able to redefine their relationship with international aid and free it from the shackles of political dependency? Or is the alternative scenario one of continued occupation, division, and aggression, rendering "humanitarian blackmail" a permanent reality, forcing them to choose between hunger and submission?

The problem goes back to its root

Hamada Faraana

Hamada Faraana

The problem goes back to its root and origin: Palestine versus the colony.

Throughout the colony's war on Iran, starting on June 13, 2025, and the American bombing on June 22, 2025, the Israeli bombing and killing in the Gaza Strip did not stop. Even though the Iran war stole the spotlight, priorities and interests, and overshadowed the sins, crimes, siege, starvation and thirst of the people of the Gaza Strip, Gaza is back in the center of attention and action after reaching an American-Iranian-Israeli decision to cease fire starting Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Palestine and its cause are returning to confrontation due to two factors that will not cease as long as the occupation continues:

1- Palestinian losses and sacrifices due to the occupation, bombing, hunger, thirst and disease imposed on the people of Gaza and its extension to the camps, villages, cities and neighbourhoods of the Palestinian West Bank.

2- The continuation of resistance against the occupation and the deaths of Israeli soldiers and officers as a result of general and selective combat operations.

The Palestinian cause, the occupation of Palestine, and the liberation of Palestine are the cause of the Palestinian people, their struggle and sacrifices, and they are the ones who will pay the price, not any other party, even if Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt are truly and practically affected by what is happening in Palestine, even if the results and repercussions vary from one party to another. Jordan remains the most partnered, integrated, concerned, and biased in favor of Palestine, and the most rejecting of the occupation, firstly out of concern for its national security, because it has priorities in confronting the policies of settlement, expulsion, and displacement of Palestinians by the colony. This is in the interest of Palestine. A secure, stable, cohesive, and satiated Jordan is a supportive lever for Palestine, and a tired Jordan is a burden on itself and on Palestine. Secondly, we have a national, religious, and humanitarian duty to stand with Palestine and the steadfastness of its people on their land, and their aspirations, freedom, and independence, and to remain against the unjust, tyrannical, colonial, expansionist occupation that encroaches on all our Islamic and Christian sanctities, our heritage, our values, and our dignity.

The priority ends with what is happening on the Iranian-Israeli-American confrontation front, because Iran’s priority is its national security and strategic interests, whether we agree with it or not. However, this is the natural situation and the right choice, because Iran and anyone other than Iran will not sacrifice their interests and change their priorities for the sake of Palestine, especially since the colony is so strong and superior that it can harm and injure others, as it did in the attack and bombing of Iran with the help of the United States. And because it does not want a powerful party in our Arab region, it is the national, religious, humanitarian enemy of the Arabs, Muslims, and Christians, no matter how much they differ among themselves.

Palestine continues to suffer and its people need support and assistance, and Netanyahu's insane, extremist war on the Gaza Strip must stop. Despite the killing, assassinations, and destruction, he has been unable to achieve his goals:

1- He was unable to locate the Israeli prisoners and release them without a prisoner exchange, despite his occupation of the entire Gaza Strip.

2- He was unable to end the Palestinian resistance, despite the numerous and intensive assassinations of its military, security and political leaders.

The Palestinian-Israeli confrontation continues and will not stop as long as injustice, occupation, and colonization persist on the land of Palestine. Even if it stops for a period, for a truce, or an agreement, its manifestations will remain temporary on the path to a long-term, long-lasting confrontation.

Netanyahu and Katz instruct the army to prepare a new plan to prevent Hamas from seizing aid.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz instructed the military on Thursday morning to prepare a new plan within 48 hours to prevent Hamas from seizing control of humanitarian aid.

"We have received new intelligence that Hamas is controlling aid in northern Gaza," Netanyahu and Katz said in a joint statement.

Aid trucks entered yesterday afternoon through the Zikim crossing, secured by the clans in the Gaza Strip.

In the same context, the Higher Committee for Tribal Affairs in the Gaza Strip responded to the occupation's allegations, stating, "We confirm that all aid is fully secured and under our care, and is distributed exclusively through international organizations."

The Commission noted that the occupation aims, by publishing these allegations, to distort the truth and spread chaos in the Gaza Strip.

She called on the UN Security Council to send an immediate and urgent delegation to inspect the aid distribution process on the ground and verify its smooth and transparent operation.

Trump clone!

Ibrahim Melhem

Ibrahim Melhem

After his amazing success in ending the 12-day war with a handball, and scoring his goals from outside the stadium illuminated by an arc of fire stretching from Tel Aviv to Tehran, Israelis are now hoping to obtain a copy of the man fascinated by his muscles and his burning, penetrating breath, to extract them from the deep hole into which Netanyahu and his acolytes have plunged them in Gaza, and which he continues to deepen by killing and starving people, cutting off all means of life from them, and endangering the lives of those who remain among the detainees, in addition to the soldiers being exposed to the well-planned ambushes into which the resistance has set them, as happened the day before yesterday, which the Israelis consider the most brutal day for them.

Just as Iran's deadly missiles have strained Israel's nerves, prompting Tel Aviv to beg Trump to intervene to halt a war unlike any they've seen in their past, the ambush, in which many soldiers were killed, wounded, and lost their lives, seven of whom were burned inside an armored vehicle that was towed after rescue teams were unable to extinguish the flames, represents a major turning point in the course of genocide, one that will be revealed in the coming hours and days, in light of the growing opposition to the continuation of the war on Gaza.

High costs are the secret behind Tel Aviv's seemingly rational and wise acceptance of a ceasefire in all its wars. It will not cease its aggression if it finds external support that bolsters it and applauds its crimes, or if a defeat flashes in the eyes of its prey, tempting it to continue the pursuit until the dead of night, as is the case in Lebanon, where aircraft roam wildly, violating the airspace in a non-stop hunting expedition, day and night.

It seems that artificial intelligence would be shocked by the request to clone the owner of the inflated self, and if the experiment is successful, it is not unlikely that Trump will clash with his updated version, like a lion clashes with its image when it sees it in a lake. The king of the jungle does not like to see a doppelganger of himself in the universe.

Red Crescent crews deal with eight cases of suffocation after settlers set fire to a house in Jericho.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported Wednesday evening that its medical teams treated eight people suffering from smoke inhalation after settlers set fire to a home in the Abu Fazaa Bedouin community east of Ramallah.

The Red Crescent noted that the injured received first aid in the field, with no serious cases reported so far. This comes at a time when the West Bank is witnessing a continued escalation in settler attacks under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

For his part, Palestinian Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh held the Israeli occupation government responsible for what he described as "settler violence and arrogance," asserting that these practices are carried out under the direct auspices of the occupation army, describing them as "a political decision implemented by the Israeli government through the hands of the settlers."

In the same context, the Israeli occupation army said in a brief statement that it "worked to break up a clash between settlers and Palestinians in the village of Kafr Malik."

The number of dead in Kafr Malik town rises to 3

Three citizens were killed and seven others were injured by live bullets during a settler attack on the town of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah.

The Ministry of Health said that three citizens were killed and seven others were injured by settler fire and Israeli occupation forces in a settler attack on the town of Kafr Malik.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated five injured people from the town of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah, after they were shot by settlers. The society described their injuries as serious.

Local sources reported that dozens of settlers attacked the town of Kafr Malik, burning vehicles and homes of local residents, while residents of the town and neighboring villages attempted to confront them.

It added that the occupation forces provided protection for the settlers, fired live ammunition at civilians, and prevented ambulances from reaching and transporting the injured.

Two days ago, the occupation forces killed the 13-year-old Ammar Mutaz Hamayel, a player on our national junior Muay Thai team, by shooting him directly in the town.

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governor Laila Ghanem said that this heinous crime, perpetrated by colonialist gangs under the direct protection of the occupation army, represents a clear extension of the criminal policy pursued by this regime in the West Bank, and is the latest in a series of ongoing massacres and genocide against our people in Gaza.
