Israeli artillery shelling targets Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation artillery renewed its targeting of residential areas in the Gaza Strip today, with the latest shelling focusing on Al-Bureij camp in the central region. Field sources reported that shells fell in the vicinity of populated areas, causing panic among citizens and displaced persons seeking refuge in the camp.

These attacks come as part of an ongoing military escalation targeting vital camps that are already suffering from significant overcrowding due to repeated waves of displacement. Sources confirmed that artillery shelling has become a daily routine threatening the lives of civilians throughout the central sector, coinciding with continuous ground and air military operations.

It is worth noting that Al-Bureij camp is one of the areas most affected by the recent military operations, as it has been repeatedly targeted by artillery shells and airstrikes, leading to widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes, amidst harsh humanitarian conditions experienced by the residents of the Strip for months.

Artillery strikes renew targeting of vital and overcrowded camps with residents and displaced persons in the Strip.
