4 Martyrs in New Israeli Raids on Gaza and Continuous Violation of Ceasefire Agreement

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in effect in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025, launching a series of airstrikes that resulted in the martyrdom of four individuals and the injury of others. Field sources reported that a drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Strip, leading to the martyrdom of one citizen and varying injuries among those present.

In the southern Strip, two Palestinians were martyred following artillery and aerial bombardment that targeted the courtyard of a house in the Batn Al-Samin area, west of Khan Younis city. These aggressions come as part of a series of systematic attacks targeting populated residential areas, exacerbating the suffering of citizens who tried to return to their normal lives amidst the fragile calm.

Gaza City was not spared from this escalation, as one citizen was martyred and three others sustained various injuries due to a raid targeting a civilian vehicle in the Rimal neighborhood. Ambulance and civil defense crews rushed to the bombing site to transport the victims to nearby hospitals, amid a state of panic that spread among passersby in the neighborhood, which is a vital center in the city.

According to the latest data issued by the Ministry of Health, the toll of victims from Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement has alarmingly risen to 1092 martyrs and 3507 injured as of Wednesday. These figures reflect the Israeli side's non-compliance with the terms of the calm, and its continued execution of targeted assassinations and bombings affecting civilians and infrastructure.

In a related context, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics revealed shocking statistics about the victims of the ongoing aggression from October 2023 until the end of June 2026. The bureau documented the martyrdom of 73,090 Palestinians, including more than 20,000 children and 12,000 women, highlighting the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe that has befallen the Strip over more than two years of war.

Large crowds in Gaza City mourned the body of martyr Mohammed Al-Waheidi, a member of the Egyptian Committee in the Strip, who was martyred in a raid targeting his car earlier this week. Al-Waheidi was overseeing an initiative to install large display screens in displacement camps and destroyed areas to enable residents to watch World Cup football matches, in an attempt to alleviate the burden of the siege and destruction.

Medical sources confirmed that the raid that targeted Al-Waheidi in the Sabra neighborhood also led to the martyrdom of three other people who were in the vicinity. Among the victims were two siblings, children aged 8 and 10, who happened to be passing by at the moment of the bombing, raising renewed questions about the occupation's targeting of crowded areas without regard for the presence of children and civilians.

Fawaz Al-Waheidi, the son of the martyr, expressed his pride in the humanitarian role his father played, noting that he worked hard to bring moments of joy to the displaced in their tents. He added that his father believed that sports were a means to strengthen people's resilience, especially since the Egyptian national team had performed remarkably in the global tournament before its exit, creating a rare outlet for the residents of the afflicted Strip.

My father worked very hard to bring a kind of entertainment to the displaced and all those suffering in Gaza by bringing them the World Cup matches.
