Blowing up myths will not be of any use in resurrecting the "Greater Netanyahu Kingdom."

Days ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed that he feels he is on a "historical and spiritual mission," and that he is "very" committed to the vision of Greater Israel, which includes Palestinian territories, "and perhaps also areas of Jordan and Egypt," according to the Times of Israel. This came during an interview he had with journalist Sharon Gal from the Israeli i24 channel, who was briefly a right-wing member of the Knesset. After Netanyahu gifted a necklace bearing the map of "Greater Israel" to his wife, he was asked about his connection to "this vision" of Greater Israel, to which Netanyahu replied, "Certainly." It is worth noting that this "Greater Israel" also emerged publicly after the Six-Day War in June 1967 to refer to Israel and the territories it occupied at that time, which include East Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Syrian Golan Heights.

The geographical definition of what is called "Greater Israel" has remained a subject of dispute in the Talmud and Talmudic literature. The academic and chemistry professor, and one of the survivors of the Nazi Holocaust, Israel Shahak (1933 – 2001), a human rights activist known for his sharp criticisms of Israeli governments and Israeli society, especially regarding policies towards Palestinians, highlighted this in his book "Jewish Religion: Its Influence on Non-Jews," which was first translated by Sina Publishing House in Cairo in 1994, as follows: According to maximalist advocates, Greater Israel includes, in addition to Palestine, the Sinai Peninsula, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and vast areas of Turkish land. The occupying army used this in training its officers. As for the minimalists, they are content to draw the northern borders along the line extending at Homs between Syria and Lebanon, which received the support of David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the State of Israel. In all Talmudic interpretations, the land of Israel also includes the island of Cyprus.

In his aforementioned interview, Netanyahu left the situation ambiguous between the maximalist and minimalistic limits; he is not Ben-Gurion, who modestly settled for the line at Homs in the borders of the Kingdom of David in the north, because in the atmosphere of the brutal war on Gaza and the war of settlement, judaization, and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, he does not wish to enter into disputes over borders with Smotrich, Ben Gvir, Amichai Eliyahu, and Orit Strock, or with a public opinion that is rapidly shifting towards aggressive and expansionist fascism in Israel. What need does he have for that as long as the message has been received and that he is on a historical and spiritual mission that provides him with opportunities to gain more supporters for his party and his sick, wild imagination to remain in power until the completion of a mission he knows better than anyone else is an impossible one.

Reactions to the delusions and dreams of this sick man, haunted by lies about the historical and spiritual mission, were widespread and furious, starting with all components of the Palestinian people, political, partisan, and spiritual, passing through Jordan and Egypt, two countries with which the State of Israel signed "peace agreements," and ending with many leaders of the countries of this world, who were shocked by Netanyahu's statements, which reminded some of them of a not-so-distant past of Adolf Hitler and his sick dreams about the "Third Reich," including Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. How can the Turkish president not be angry when maximalist advocates of the Kingdom of David eye vast areas of Turkish land in the south?

The Kingdom of David, which Netanyahu dreams of, is a state on paper; it is a state of legends, just as the legend of David is. The Kingdom of Benjamin Netanyahu goes far back in history, to over three thousand five hundred years ago as he claims, and the same is true for Bezalel Smotrich and other neo-Nazis in Israel. It is a return of the spirit to that kingdom, which was referred to in the declaration of independence of this state in 1948. It is the kingdom of Saul, David, and Solomon, which Netanyahu wants to resurrect. So what is the story of that kingdom?

David, before he became, according to legends, a king leading a gang of six hundred bandits, was pursued by King Saul and often sought refuge with the Palestinians, who granted him that according to the Books of Kings. When he became king after Saul's tragic fate, David was also a fugitive across Jordan from his son Absalom, who usurped power from his father. The beginning of his reign did not suggest stability that would allow him to build a kingdom capable of waging wars and expanding victories over neighboring kingdoms and establishing an empire. What is mentioned in the narrative of the Book of Samuel and the First Book of Kings regarding that empire,

Colonizers assault a citizen and his son in East Hebron.

A Palestinian citizen and his son were assaulted by a group of Zionist settlers while inspecting their agricultural land east of Hebron. The incident occurred in the Jalas area near the 'Kiryat Arba' settlement, where the father, Shakir Hamid Al-Zaru, and his son Faraj sustained injuries to their heads, limbs, and chest.

Al-Zaru stated that the assault occurred while they were on their land, which is planted with olive and grape trees, and has been abandoned for two years due to ongoing threats from the settlers. He confirmed that access to this land has become impossible due to repeated assaults.

Al-Zaru added that the settlers attack Palestinian landowners under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, which exacerbates the suffering of Palestinian families in the area. These assaults are not isolated incidents but reflect a noticeable escalation in violence against Palestinians.

The Jalas area and other regions in Hebron, especially Masafer Yatta, are witnessing an increase in settler assaults on Palestinian families and farmers, raising concerns about the security and humanitarian situation in these areas.

These incidents are part of the ongoing occupation policy aimed at displacing Palestinians and asserting control over their lands, necessitating international action to stop these violations and protect Palestinian rights.

Ben Gvir to the Supreme Court: No visits from the Red Cross to Hamas prisoners before visiting our detainees.

In controversial statements, the Minister of National Security of the occupation, Itamar Ben Gvir, described the demands of the judges in the Supreme Court to allow the Red Cross to visit Hamas prisoners as "very dangerous." He emphasized that these statements endanger the security of the state and harm deterrence, reflecting his hardline stance on the issue of prisoners.

Ben Gvir, who holds a sensitive position in the occupation government, pointed out that allowing the Red Cross to visit Hamas prisoners while international organizations are not permitted to visit detainees of the occupation is a significant contradiction. He considered that these visits could negatively impact national security.

Ben Gvir also added that the detainees whom he described as "imprisoned and hungry" should not receive any visits from any foreign entity until Palestinian detainees are allowed to receive visits. These statements reflect the current government's policy towards Palestinian prisoners.

These statements come at a sensitive time, as international pressure on the occupation to improve the conditions of Palestinian prisoners is increasing. Ben Gvir's remarks have sparked mixed reactions among supporters and opponents, with some seeing them as reflective of a repressive policy.

On the other hand, the Egyptian Foreign Minister confirmed that the ball is now in the court of the occupation to agree to a prisoner exchange deal, complicating the current situation further. These statements indicate that there are diplomatic moves that may affect the future of the prisoners.

Under these circumstances, the fate of Palestinian prisoners remains suspended between international pressures and the internal policies of the occupation, complicating the humanitarian situation in prisons.

The Palestinian Committee for the Implementation of Security Council Resolutions adds a new batch of settlers and their entities to the national terrorism list.

The Palestinian Committee for Implementing Security Council Resolutions announced today, Tuesday, the inclusion of 15 new names of settlers and their entities on the national terrorism list. This inclusion consists of 11 terrorists and 4 terrorist entities, amid the alarming escalation of their terrorism and ongoing assaults on Palestinian villages and cities.

This decision came in response to the increasing systematic crimes committed by the settlers, including repeated assaults on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and criminal practices against Palestinian villages and camps. These actions reflect the organized state terrorism practiced by the occupying authorities.

The occupying authorities exploit their continuous aggression against the Gaza Strip to bolster their illegal colonial project, further intensifying tensions in the region. In this context, the committee affirmed that these assaults represent an extension of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing under international law.

The committee emphasized that it will circulate the names listed to other countries, calling for their inclusion in terrorism lists in line with international efforts to combat terrorism and its financing. This measure comes as part of enhancing international cooperation to confront terrorist threats.

It is worth noting that the Palestinian Committee for Implementing Security Council Resolutions was established under Law No. (39/2022) regarding the combating of money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The committee operates under the leadership of the Attorney General and includes representatives from relevant official and security bodies.

The inclusion of settlers and their entities on the national terrorism list is an important step in confronting the terrorism faced by the Palestinian people, reflecting Palestine's commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.

Egyptian Foreign Minister: The ball is now in the occupier's court to agree to the exchange deal.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister stated that the ball is now in the occupier's court, emphasizing the need for international pressure on them to agree to the exchange deal. These statements come after Hamas made progress in the negotiations, as they agreed to the proposal put forth by the American envoy.

The Egyptian Prime Minister also confirmed that there has been significant progress in the negotiations, reflecting Egypt's ongoing efforts in mediating between the concerned parties. This progress comes at a sensitive time as everyone seeks to achieve a de-escalation in the tense situation in the Gaza Strip.

In contrast, the office of the occupier's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement confirming that the occupier's policy regarding proposals related to a ceasefire has not changed. This statement reflects the challenges facing Egyptian mediation efforts.

Hamas and other Palestinian factions have expressed their agreement to the proposal presented to them by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators, reflecting their desire to reach an agreement that alleviates the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

International pressure is increasing on the occupier to accept the exchange deal, as the international community considers this step to be a potential beginning for a broader solution to the humanitarian crisis in the region.

Why does the occupying entity "Israel" not have a written constitution... and why has it not set borders for its entity?

Palestine is considered a unique case among most countries in the world, as the occupying entity does not have a single, official written constitution. This absence is not a coincidence, but rather a result of deep ideological conflicts that date back to its founding moment, and it is closely linked to another issue that is no less complex: the lack of officially and legally defined borders.

Upon the establishment of the occupying entity in 1948, a fundamental disagreement arose among its leaders regarding the nature and identity of the state, which prevented the writing of a unified constitution. The debate was divided between two main currents: the religious current, which viewed the Torah and Jewish law as the supreme constitution, and the secular current, which sought a modern democratic constitution.

To reach a compromise, the Knesset adopted in 1950 a settlement known as the "Harari Compromise," which stipulated that a unified constitution would not be written at that time, but rather the constitution would be prepared "chapter by chapter" through the enactment of a series of "basic laws." To this day, these laws have not been compiled, making them function as an unofficial constitution.

As for the borders of the occupying entity, the question of the state's borders as stipulated in the constitution cannot be answered, simply because there is no constitution to delineate these borders. The absence is not only a result but also a deliberate policy pursued by the leaders of the Zionist movement from the beginning.

David Ben-Gurion, one of the founders of the occupying entity, refused to define the state's borders at the time of its declaration, allowing for future expansion. This policy, known as "strategic ambiguity," enabled the occupying entity to expand and occupy new lands without a legal commitment to specific borders.

Historically, there have been several conceptions of borders, such as the borders of the 1947 partition plan, but none have been adopted as final borders. The "Green Line," which represents the 1967 borders, is considered by the international community as the basis for a two-state solution, but the occupying entity refuses to recognize it as final international borders.

The issue of borders is further complicated by the influence of the "Greater Israel" doctrine, which sees "the historical land of Israel" extending from the Nile to the Euphrates, making it impossible to recognize final borders. This expansionist ideology reflects the internal conflicts between the religious and secular identity of the state.

The absence of a constitution and the lack of defined borders reflect the foundational conflicts that remain unresolved within the occupying entity, serving the policy of imposing facts on the ground and allowing for the continued expansion of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Cabinet demands binding international measures to stop the war on Gaza and the colonial plans in Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Cabinet, in its weekly session, called for binding international measures to stop the aggression of the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip and the colonial plans in occupied Jerusalem. The Cabinet emphasized the necessity for the international community to act to halt these violations that threaten the rights of Palestinians.

The Cabinet warned of the repercussions of implementing the colonial plan known as (E1) east of Jerusalem, which extends over an area of more than 12,000 dunams, aimed at displacing Palestinian population centers and separating northern West Bank from southern West Bank. It confirmed that this plan contradicts international laws.

Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa reviewed the results of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, where he discussed preparations for holding the international conference for reconstruction. He pointed to the importance of the technical meetings that will precede the conference, which aim to establish effective plans for rebuilding what has been destroyed by the aggression.

The Prime Minister also informed the Cabinet of the latest updates regarding the executive relief plans, including Egypt's efforts and the mediators to reach a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire. He emphasized the priorities related to immediate relief and the restoration of essential services.

In another context, the Cabinet condemned the occupation's decision to withdraw the visas of the Australian diplomats accredited to the State of Palestine, describing it as a violation of diplomatic norms. It affirmed that this step reflects the arrogance of the occupation.

In light of the escalating attacks by the occupation and settlers on farmers, the Cabinet directed to secure more financial resources to enhance the resilience of citizens in targeted areas, especially in the agricultural sector. Efforts were also intensified politically and media-wise to expose the crimes of the occupation.

The Cabinet also discussed the efforts made to combat dumping and implement a program to replace imports with national goods, to support local production. It tasked the relevant authorities to provide specific recommendations within a month.

The Cabinet approved the final reading of the judicial notifications system via electronic means, which will contribute to speeding up litigation procedures. It also amended the Cabinet's decision regarding the regulation of purchasing periods of leave and unpaid leave for retirement purposes.

The number of killed journalist in the Gaza Strip rises to 239.

The number of Palestinian journalist martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 239 since the beginning of the genocide war waged by the occupying state since October 7, 2023. This came after the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist Islam Al-Koumi, who was martyred in an Israeli bombing in the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City.

The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that Al-Koumi was working as an editor and content creator with several media platforms. The office strongly condemned the systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation, calling on the international community to take a firm stance against these crimes.

The office also called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn the systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media personnel in the Gaza Strip. These calls come at a time when the targeting of journalists by the occupation is escalating.

The office held the Israeli occupation, the U.S. administration, and the countries participating in the genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing these heinous crimes. The occupation continues to target journalists despite international warnings.

The occupying state deliberately targets journalists inside Gaza, as it bombs them, arrests them, or threatens them, which observers consider attempts to silence their voices that reveal the details of the genocide perpetrated by Tel Aviv in the sector.

On August 11, two correspondents from Al Jazeera in Gaza City, Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qareqea, along with three accompanying photographers from the channel's crew, were martyred due to an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent for journalists near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

The martyrdom of Al-Sharif and his colleagues reflects, according to observers, the occupation's intention to kill the journalists present in Gaza City before proceeding to occupy the city, as part of a gradual plan approved by the Israeli government to fully occupy the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with U.S. support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, resulting in 62,064 martyrs and 156,573 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, leading to a famine that has claimed the lives of 263 people, including 112 children.

"Israeli" writer: A complete occupation of Gaza is a decision that Hamas does not fear and will increase our isolation.

The Israeli writer and journalist Ben Dror Yemini stated that there is no need for illusions about the impact of Israeli threats on Hamas's position, noting that these threats will not lead to any real change. He explained that the threat of seizing Gaza does not represent anything real, questioning the nature of the threats: are they the destruction of buildings or the displacement of populations?

In an article, Ben Dror pointed out that Hamas agreed to a prisoner exchange proposal, warning that Israel would fall into a trap if it rejected this deal. He emphasized that the rejection would have dire consequences for Israel, leading to a greater collapse in its international standing.

The writer also noted that the mere threat of occupying Gaza has already led to increasing calls for sanctions against Israel. He highlighted that a military entry into Gaza would cause a much greater collapse, resulting in further academic and cultural boycotts.

Ben Dror spoke about the leaked audio recordings of former intelligence chief Aharon Haliva, who said that having 50,000 dead in Gaza is necessary for future generations. He affirmed that this kind of thinking reflects a profound misunderstanding of the fundamental logic of the Hamas movement.

The writer pointed out that Hamas does not tremble from threats, and its strategy is to defeat Israel politically rather than militarily. He considered that the Israeli political situation has never been worse, and there is no other way out of this crisis.

Ben Dror questioned how much Israel relies on the misconception, indicating that Israel should have adopted a wiser strategy, such as declaring a unilateral ceasefire while demanding the release of hostages and disarming the sector.

In conclusion, he affirmed that this initiative could grant Israel some legitimacy and help avoid political collapse, rather than continuing with an aggressive policy that will only exacerbate the situation.

European researcher: The racist mentality behind the West's inability to act to stop the genocide in Gaza.

In her article in The Guardian, researcher Shada Islam points out that one word summarizes Europe's inability to act to stop the aggression against Gaza: "racism." She explains that this inability is manifested in the silence of European governments and their disregard for what is happening in Gaza, where the city is subjected to intense bombing and airstrikes.

Islam discusses the increasing criticisms faced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and her team due to the controversial tariff agreement between the EU and the United States. She emphasizes that there is a greater need to hold the EU accountable for its complicity in the genocide being perpetrated by the occupation in Gaza.

Islam anxiously follows how European governments continue to downplay what is happening in Gaza, despite the many sanctions and tools that could be used against the occupation, yet they refuse to activate them. She points out that the EU is the largest trading partner of the occupation, complicating the situation further.

The writer notes that the occupation's exports to the EU increased at the beginning of 2024, while Germany merely announced a halt to the export of military equipment that could be used in Gaza, despite German arms licenses amounting to 485 million euros in the 19 months following the attack on October 7.

Islam asserts that the real dilemma lies in Europe's political and moral paralysis, which is closely linked to structural racism and the violence practiced against minorities. She considers that the colonial mentality rooted in European policies towards migrants and refugees is reflected in the abandonment of Palestinians.

Islam addresses European bias by comparing the EU's treatment of Ukraine versus Gaza, where unprecedented sanctions were imposed on Russia and financial and political support was granted to Kyiv, while the suffering of Palestinians was portrayed as a humanitarian crisis devoid of political context.

She notes that Palestinian-American academic Rashid Khalidi described the conflict as "the last colonial war of the modern era," reflecting the depth of the crisis. She emphasizes the need for Europe to review its past and present in the context of its commitment to international law.

Islam warns that European decision-making circles consider discussions about racism to be divisive, deepening the credibility crisis. She points out that the European anti-racism plan of 2020 lost momentum after the first coordinator for combating racism in the EU was marginalized.

She stresses that any serious accountability for the EU's inaction towards Gaza will remain incomplete unless it confronts its structural racism. She asserts that Gaza has exposed all the excuses, and European decision-makers must face these truths.

Islam concludes by stating that working to dismantle these truths, no matter how harsh, is the only way to achieve justice for the Palestinians.

Qurtulmuş: Palestine is our national cause, and we will defend it until the end.

The President of the Turkish Parliament, Numan Kurtulmuş, affirmed that the issue of Palestine represents a national cause for Turkey, emphasizing the importance of defending it until the end. This came during a promotional event for a documentary film about Jerusalem in the capital, Ankara.

Kurtulmuş pointed out that Jerusalem is considered one of the most important centers of Islamic civilization, and that the Palestinian territories were a place where our ancestors taught the world the meaning of humanity and conscience. He stressed that Jerusalem was a 'House of Peace' when Muslims were sovereign there.

Kurtulmuş described dedicating one's life to the establishment of a free Palestine with its capital in free Jerusalem as a shared responsibility, noting the great suffering experienced by the Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, as a result of Israeli repressive practices.

Kurtulmuş spoke about the Israeli genocide in Gaza, clarifying that it did not begin on October 7, but is a continuation of chapters that started in 1917 with the withdrawal of the Ottoman state, and continued with the American occupation of Iraq, leading to the current genocide.

He described the settlement in the Palestinian territories as a 'malignant tumor' driven by hidden agendas of imperialists, noting that the struggle in Palestine is a fight for justice.

Kurtulmuş confirmed that a sovereign Palestinian state will be established on its land with Jerusalem as its capital, emphasizing that Turkey will continue to support the Palestinian people in all forums.

He noted that some Western countries thank Turkey behind the scenes for its supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, despite not speaking out in international meetings.

He discussed the genocide committed by Israel since October 7, which resulted in the deaths of more than 62,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 156,000, most of whom are children and women, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons.

"The Foreign Ministry" demands binding international measures to stop the invaders' violation of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today demanded binding international measures to stop the settlers' violations in the West Bank, pointing out that the violations and assaults faced by our people occur in the absence of any law protecting them.

The ministry clarified in its statement that the settlers persist in violating Palestinian land, attempting to impose their control over it by force of arms, and with protection from the occupation army, which exacerbates the suffering of Palestinian citizens.

The ministry also condemned the occupation's bulldozers for opening colonial roads in the town of Deir Debwan and neighboring towns, representing a daily targeting of citizens and their lands, aiming to deepen and expand colonial settlement in those areas.

The ministry affirmed that all unilateral measures taken by the occupation are considered illegal and do not grant the occupation any legitimacy or right to Palestinian lands, in accordance with international law and United Nations resolutions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates renewed its demand for the international community to take decisive action to protect the rights of Palestinians and to stop the crimes of genocide, displacement, starvation, and annexation, in order to preserve the opportunity for the implementation of the two-state solution.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced this evening that the death toll has risen to 62,064, with most of them being children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources reported that the number of injured has increased to 156,573, while there are still a number of victims trapped under the rubble, reflecting the catastrophic situation in the region, where rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

In the past 24 hours, 60 martyrs have been recorded arriving at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including two martyrs whose bodies were recovered, in addition to 343 injured, adding new burdens to the collapsed health system.

Qatar: Hamas's response is positive and reflects a nearly identical picture to what Tel Aviv agreed upon.

The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid Al-Ansari, confirmed that Hamas's response to the proposed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was very positive and reflects a nearly identical stance to what Tel Aviv had previously agreed to. This was stated during a press conference held today, Tuesday.

Al-Ansari pointed out that the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs participated in ceasefire talks in Al-Alamein, where Hamas's response to the proposal submitted by Qatar and Egypt was received. He explained that the proposal includes a pathway for a permanent ceasefire.

Al-Ansari also added that there is no specific timeframe for the Israeli response, but he indicated that there is information suggesting that the occupying state is considering the matter, expressing hope for a quick and positive response.

In a related context, Hamas Political Bureau member Ezzat Al-Rishq confirmed that the proposal approved by the movement focuses on a partial deal and opens the door to reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves a complete cessation of the war.

Al-Rishq emphasized that the movement's response came after extensive consultations with Palestinian factions, expressing a sense of national responsibility that represents everyone. He confirmed that Hamas and the Palestinian factions dealt positively and flexibly to stop the aggression against the Palestinian people.

Al-Rishq also expressed hope that this response would pave the way for reaching an agreement, warning of the obstacles that Netanyahu might place in the way of achieving this agreement.

It is noteworthy that Tel Aviv estimates the presence of 50 Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip, while more than 10,800 Palestinians are imprisoned in the occupation's jails, suffering from harsh conditions.

On the other hand, Hamas confirmed its readiness to release Israeli prisoners in exchange for ending the aggression, the withdrawal of the occupying army from Gaza, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

Israeli disappointment over Ben Gvir's raid on Barghouti's cell due to the resulting implications.

The Israeli political and media landscape witnessed angry reactions following the incursion of the Minister of National Security of the occupying state, Itamar Ben Gvir, into the cell of Palestinian prisoner Marwan Barghouti. This incursion was not just a fleeting incident; it reflected a new failure added to the record of the occupation, as many considered it an uncalculated step.

Gadi Ezra, the former director of the National Information Center, pointed out that the incursion reflects a breakdown in the Israeli propaganda campaign, as Barghouti is not just a prisoner but a pivotal figure in Palestinian politics. Results from the Palestinian Center for Political Research indicate that 60% of Palestinians would vote for him if elections were held, reflecting his significant popularity.

When participants in the survey were asked whom they would vote for, half of them expressed their support for Barghouti as a potential president, while Khaled Mashal received only 35% and Abu Mazen 11%. This reflects a decline in trust in the current leadership and strengthens Barghouti's position as a potential alternative.

Moreover, the survey results showed that Barghouti's absence from the elections would lead to a reduction in Palestinian participation by about 20%. This explains the wave of Palestinian sympathy for him following the incursion, as many viewed him as a symbol of resistance.

The incursion not only enhanced Barghouti's image but also contributed to strengthening Hamas's position. Data indicates that this event could harm the interests of the occupation, as Barghouti was portrayed as a victim before the world, reinforcing Hamas's narrative about the oppressed Palestinian.

The incursion also sparked a wave of criticism in international media, which tends to support the Palestinian cause. The timing of the incursion was inappropriate, occurring at a time when international recognition of the Palestinian state is increasing, further isolating the occupation.

On August 15, Ben Gvir stormed Barghouti's cell, threatening him with phrases that reflect excessive force. Barghouti, who has been serving five life sentences since 2004, is one of the prominent names that Hamas demands be released in any prisoner exchange deal.

The incursion could lead to serious political repercussions, as we may witness pro-Palestinian demonstrations carrying images of Barghouti as a captive leader. This event could cause significant damage to the occupation and reflects a failure in its political strategy.

What does Abbas's formation of a committee to draft the Constitution of the State of Palestine mean?

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced the formation of a committee to draft a temporary constitution, a step aimed at strengthening Palestinian identity and thwarting attempts by the occupation to impose its sovereignty over the occupied West Bank. This move comes as part of preparations for holding general elections and getting ready for the international peace conference scheduled for September.

The committee consists of 17 members, chaired by Palestinian legal advisor Mohammad Al-Haj Qassem, and will serve as a legal reference for drafting the temporary constitution in line with the Declaration of Independence and principles of international law. This constitution will form the legal basis for the State of Palestine and define its identity and borders.

According to political expert Suleiman Basharat, the Palestinian Authority currently relies on the Palestinian Basic Law, which serves as the legal reference for the State of Palestine. The state was supposed to be declared five years after the Oslo Accords, but the occupation evaded this obligation.

With the increasing international recognition of the State of Palestine, it has become essential to create the political and legal conditions for state-building, including the establishment of a constitution. This constitution will define the Palestinian relationship with neighboring countries and the world, and strengthen the position of Palestinians on the international stage.

This step comes at a time when Gaza is facing ongoing Israeli aggression, which has resulted in thousands of martyrs and injured. The formation of the committee is seen as a response to the occupation's attempts to impose its sovereignty over Palestinian lands, reflecting the Palestinians' determination to build their independent state.

The committee aims to prepare a draft constitution that establishes the constitutional foundations for a democratic system based on the rule of law, ensuring respect for rights and public freedoms. An electronic platform will also be created to receive suggestions from all segments of Palestinian society.

This step embodies the efforts of Palestinians to build their state institutions amid the significant challenges they face. Palestinians hope that this constitution will contribute to strengthening their position in international forums and affirm their right to self-determination.

Jordanian Palestinian Export Company: Ongoing efforts to export agricultural products from Qalqilya abroad.

The General Manager of the Jordanian-Palestinian Export Company, Qais Al-Qatamin, stated that the Jordanian company discussed with the Palestinian side the mechanisms for exporting Palestinian agricultural products abroad, following directives from Jordanian King Abdullah II. This came during Al-Qatamin's visit along with his accompanying delegation to the Qalqilya Governorate headquarters.

Al-Qatamin explained that the company held a meeting with Palestinian partners and is fully prepared to commence export operations and work on developing additional partnerships in coordination with the relevant Palestinian authorities. These steps reflect the company's commitment to supporting Palestinian farmers.

Tarik Abu Khayzaran, a representative of the Jordanian-Palestinian Agricultural Marketing Company, confirmed that contracts with farmers are ongoing, in addition to those previously established. He noted that the volume of exports is expected to double this year compared to last year, which saw a significant decline due to the obstacles posed by the Israeli occupation.

Abu Khayzaran added that the occupation's measures have led to disruptions in exports and the destruction of large quantities of crops, resulting in heavy losses for farmers. Nevertheless, the joint efforts between the Palestinian and Jordanian sides are moving towards ensuring the products reach Jordan.

For his part, the Acting Governor of Qalqilya, Muhammad Khadr, briefed the visiting delegation on the reality of the governorate and its difficult conditions due to the occupation's measures. He emphasized the importance of supporting farmers and the agricultural sector in Qalqilya, considering it primarily an agricultural city.

Khadr appreciated the Jordanian efforts made to support farmers and open avenues for marketing their products, stressing that these steps reflect the depth of the Jordanian-Palestinian partnership.

Officially.. Hamas announces its approval of the ceasefire proposal in Gaza.

The Hamas movement, in an official statement, announced that it and the Palestinian factions have communicated their acceptance of the ceasefire proposal presented to them by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators. This announcement comes at a sensitive time, as the international community seeks to calm the situation in the besieged Gaza Strip.

This step is considered significant in the context of efforts to end the military escalation in the region, which has resulted in numerous martyrs and injuries among the Palestinians. Hamas has expressed its readiness to adhere to the ceasefire if the agreed-upon conditions are implemented.

The Egyptian and Qatari mediators have played a pivotal role in facilitating discussions between the concerned parties, as both seek to achieve stability in the region. This ceasefire could represent an opportunity for de-escalation and rebuilding trust between the Palestinian factions and the occupying state.

It is worth noting that the situation in the Gaza Strip has witnessed a notable escalation recently, exacerbating the humanitarian conditions. This approval is part of ongoing efforts to end the suffering experienced by the residents of the strip.

The Palestinians hope that this ceasefire will lead to improved living conditions in the Gaza Strip and alleviate the blockade imposed on them, allowing them to access basic necessities and return to their normal lives.

The head of the Egyptian General Authority for Information: The ball is now in "Israel's" court regarding the proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The head of the Egyptian General Authority for Information confirmed in statements that Egypt is making intensive efforts to reach a ceasefire in the besieged Gaza Strip. He pointed out that the Egyptian and Qatari mediators have presented a new proposal based on the Witekoff proposal, reflecting their commitment to seeking solutions to the crisis.

He explained that the Palestinian factions responded to the proposal without any reservations, reflecting their readiness to cooperate to achieve peace. The proposal has been sent to the occupying state, which means that the ball is now in its court to make the appropriate decision.

The head of the General Authority for Information added that he hopes the occupying state will find in this proposal an exit to face the internal pressures it is experiencing to stop the aggression. He considered that the opportunity is available for it to avoid unrealistic goals in light of the crises it faces.

He noted that this proposal represents an opportunity for Netanyahu's government, and if the occupying state agrees to it, it could be a precursor to a comprehensive solution to the crisis. He emphasized the importance of American pressure on the occupation to accept the proposal as a preliminary step towards a comprehensive solution.

He stressed that Hamas's approval has placed the Israeli side in a crisis and an opportunity at the same time, affirming that the Gaza Strip needs urgent rescue, and the situation cannot afford to wait.

Under these circumstances, hope remains pinned on the ability of the Egyptian and Qatari mediators to achieve tangible progress towards stopping the aggression and achieving peace in the region.

This is what we know about the latest proposal for the deal in Gaza.. it has the approval of "Hamas".

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has received a new proposal from Egyptian and Qatari mediators regarding a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, with the movement informing the mediators of its acceptance of this proposal. A Hamas official confirmed that the movement communicated its approval to the mediators without going into further details.

The new proposal is based on what was presented by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff, which includes a ceasefire lasting sixty days, in addition to a prisoner exchange deal involving the release of 10 Israeli prisoners and 18 bodies in two phases. This proposal aims to initiate indirect negotiations between the Israeli occupation and Hamas.

During the sixty-day period, comprehensive negotiations will begin to end the war in Gaza, where discussions will focus on a deal for the remaining prisoners in the Gaza Strip, which includes 10 additional prisoners along with Israeli bodies. These negotiations will be sponsored by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators.

The proposal also includes the introduction of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, but without a clear framework, raising questions about the occupation's commitment to the terms of the agreement. It also stipulates the withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip after the prisoners are handed over.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa announced the imminent formation of a temporary committee to manage the sector, reflecting efforts to secure effective governance of the sector during the ceasefire period. The proposal also includes long-term security arrangements in the Gaza Strip.

On the first day of the ceasefire, negotiations will begin under the auspices of Arab mediators to implement the agreement and ensure a permanent ceasefire. These negotiations will address the conditions for the release of the remaining prisoners and the redeployment of the occupation army.

Writer and political analyst Ibrahim Al-Madhoun pointed out that Hamas has already received a new proposal from the Egyptian side, which is an extension of the previous proposal, reflecting Cairo's desire to resume negotiations.

Al-Madhoun confirmed that Hamas's priority is to stop the genocide and halt the policy of starvation, which may lead the movement to accept the proposal, provided it includes a comprehensive ceasefire.

However, the question remains about the extent of the Israeli occupation's responsiveness to this proposal, as the Israeli stance does not seem to indicate a genuine acceptance of the proposal.

The greatest fear lies in the possibility of the occupation invading and occupying the city of Gaza, which would mean the continuation of the policies of genocide and displacement. Therefore, everyone is striving for an urgent calm, while the occupation remains the only party that is stalling.

Israel demolishes structures in the West Bank, and settlers prevent Palestinians from returning to their land.

In a new escalation by the occupation, occupation bulldozers demolished commercial structures in Hebron Governorate on Monday, claiming they were built without permits in areas classified as Area C. These areas are under full occupation control, making it difficult for Palestinians to obtain building permits.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation army fired tear gas canisters at citizens present in the area, resulting in several cases of suffocation that were treated on-site. This action reflects the repressive policy of the occupation towards Palestinians.

It is worth noting that the Oslo II Agreement, signed in 1995, divided the West Bank into three areas, with Area C being under full occupation control, hindering any Palestinian attempts to build or expand.

In a related context, settlers, protected by the occupation army, prevented the residents of the Bedouin area of Jorat al-Khail from returning to their lands, despite an Israeli court ruling allowing them to do so. The mayor of Sa'ir, Musa al-Froukh, confirmed that settlers assaulted Palestinian families and prevented them from returning.

Al-Froukh added that instead of implementing the court's decision, the occupation army declared the area a closed military zone and prevented residents from accessing it. This behavior reflects the complicity of the occupation with settlers against Palestinians.

In November 2024, the occupation forcibly displaced citizens from their homes due to settler assaults, but they obtained a ruling from the Israeli Supreme Court allowing their return. However, the occupation did not implement this ruling.

Figures indicate that the occupation army and settlers killed at least 1,015 Palestinians in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to arresting more than 18,500 Palestinians.

A report by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission showed that settlers carried out 466 assaults against Palestinians and their properties last July, resulting in the death of 4 Palestinians and the forcible displacement of Bedouin families.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation state has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving thousands of martyrs and injured, raising concerns in the international community that ignores these crimes.

The Israeli genocide in Gaza has resulted in the death of 62,004 Palestinians and the injury of 156,230 others, reflecting the scale of suffering faced by the Palestinian people under occupation.

Calls in Britain to end the Gaza war and French anger over the closure of its consulate in Jerusalem.

Politicians from Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales called on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer today, Monday, to impose sanctions on the occupying state, amid escalating aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. The British politicians emphasized the need for immediate action to end the war, stressing the importance of halting arms sales to the occupying state and pressuring it to stop its violations.

In a related context, France threatened that its relationship with the occupying state would be harmed following the latter's decision to close its consulate in occupied Jerusalem. The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs confirmed that this decision would damage bilateral relations, noting that it had not received official notification from the occupying state regarding the closure of the consulate.

The newspaper Israel Hayom reported that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar was the one who decided to close the French consulate, in response to Paris's recognition of the State of Palestine. The Israeli Foreign Ministry indicated that the French consulate was acting defiantly, and that France was leading the anti-occupying state agenda.

Amid increasing European criticism, the Norwegian Finance Minister announced his country's decision to sell investments from the Norwegian sovereign fund in six Israeli companies related to the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This decision comes amid rising European calls to stop arms sales to the occupying state.

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares also called, in mid-last month, for a halt to arms sales to the occupying state due to its violations in Gaza. In a similar move, Slovenia imposed a ban on the export, import, and transit of arms to the occupying state.

Last May, the Irish Cabinet approved a bill aimed at preventing the import of goods and services from Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, making it the first country in the European Union to take legislative steps to ban trade with Israeli companies operating in the occupied Palestinian territories.

These developments come amid the Israeli genocide supported by the United States, which has left more than 207,000 Palestinians dead or injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 10,000 missing and hundreds of thousands of displaced persons suffering from famine.

With Hamas delivering its response.. Ben Gvir to Netanyahu: You do not have a mandate to stop the war without defeating Hamas.

The Minister of National Security for the occupation, Itamar Ben Gvir, issued a stern warning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that he does not have the mandate to stop the war against Hamas without achieving a complete defeat of the group. This came at a sensitive time as Hamas received its response to the mediators' proposals for a ceasefire.

Ben Gvir pointed out that any decision by Netanyahu to halt the war would be tantamount to wasting a historic opportunity, warning of dire consequences. He stressed the need to exploit the current situation to achieve a decisive victory over Hamas.

In his remarks, Ben Gvir mentioned that Netanyahu had squandered a previous opportunity when he ignored a warning from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who demanded the release of hostages in Gaza, warning that this would open the gates of hell.

Ben Gvir added in his direct message to Netanyahu: "We now have the opportunity to defeat Hamas, and I tell the Prime Minister that you do not have the mandate to go for a partial deal without defeating them." These statements reflect the internal tensions within the occupation government regarding how to handle the ongoing conflict.

The war continues in the besieged Gaza Strip, where calls from various parties for a clear military victory over Hamas are escalating, reflecting the significant challenges facing the occupation government in making strategic decisions.

Ben Gvir's statements show how the internal conflict among the leaders of the occupation can influence the course of the war, as each seeks to assert their strength and influence under the current circumstances.

Trump: Accelerating the destruction of Hamas will increase the chances of successfully retrieving the hostages.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the return of the remaining hostages can only be achieved by confronting and destroying Hamas. He emphasized that accelerating this confrontation would increase the chances of success in bringing back the hostages.

In his remarks, Trump claimed that he was the one who negotiated and freed hundreds of hostages in the past, noting that he contributed to their release to Tel Aviv and the United States. These statements reflect his view on the importance of military power in achieving political goals.

Trump did not hesitate to highlight his military achievements, stating: 'I ended 6 wars in just 6 months and destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities.' These statements reflect his pride in his past accomplishments and his emphasis on his strategy for dealing with crises.

Trump's remarks come at a sensitive time, as international pressure to cease fire in the region is increasing. Both President Sisi and the Prime Minister of Qatar have stressed the need for a ceasefire and rejected the displacement of Palestinians, highlighting the disparity between international and local positions.

These statements are part of Trump's strategy that focuses on using force as a means to achieve goals, which raises widespread debate about the effectiveness of this approach in achieving peace and stability in the region.

Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) Reported a Net Loss of USD 1.23 million in the First Half of 2025

August 14, 2025 – Ramallah, Palestine

Arab Palestinian Investment Company (APIC) disclosed its financial results for the first half of 2025. APIC Chairman and CEO Tarek Aggad announced that the company recorded total revenues of USD 599.6 million, reflecting an 16% growth compared to the same period last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached around USD 27 million, and the company achieved an operating profit of USD 20.2 million. However, APIC reported a net loss of USD 1.23 million in the first half of 2025, compared to a net profit of USD 1.6 million for the same period of 2024.

Total assets amounted to USD 959.8 million, marking a 13.6% increase to 2024’s year-end. Shareholders’ equity stood at USD 226.8 million, a 20.2% increase to 2024’s year-end.

Aggad outlined the key factors behind the drop in the company’s net profit in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year. He emphasized that the ongoing devastating war on Gaza, the escalation of Israeli attacks in the West Bank, and the deep economic recession resulting from Israel’s withholding of Palestinian Authority funds—which has led to the PA’s inability to fully pay its employees or meet its financial obligations to the private sector—have significantly impacted the performance of APIC’s subsidiaries. Aggad added that the Palestinian Authority's direct and indirect debt to APIC subsidiaries reached around USD 136 million by the end of the first half of 2025.

Aggad went on to add that the continued classification of Turkey as a hyperinflationary country led to ongoing non-cash losses amounting to USD 3 million in the first half of 2025 due to the application of International Accounting Standard No. 29. He also noted that inflation negatively impacted the operational performance of Polonez, Siniora’s subsidiary in Turkey.

Aggad also highlighted several positive milestones achieved by APIC in the first half of the year. The company’s secondary public offering to shareholders exceeded all expectations, with subscriptions reaching 180%, surpassing the targeted capital of USD 30 million to reach USD 54.3 Million. This remarkable turnout underscores shareholders’ strong confidence in APIC and its ability to remain resilient in times of crisis.

In addition, APIC issued USD 120 million in bonds, attracting nine leading financial institutions, including the Arab Bank, Cairo Amman Bank, Quds Bank, Bank of Palestine, Bank of Jordan, Jordan Ahli Bank, the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, the Palestine Deposit Insurance Company and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The value of subscriptions surpassed the nominal USD 110 million, reaching USD 126.144 million, accordingly, an increase in the option to USD 120 million was implemented. Aggad stressed that such overwhelming demand for APIC bonds is a clear testament of investors’ trust in APIC Group and affirms its robust operational performance particularly amidst the current challenges in Palestine and the region, most notably the severe and ongoing humanitarian and economic crisis in Palestine, which has weighed heavily on the performance of Palestinian companies.

APIC also distributed 5 million shares as stock dividends to its shareholders, that represents approximately 3.22% of APIC’s paid-in capital, which amounted to USD 155 million then. Following this distribution, APIC’s paid-in capital became equal to its authorized capital of USD 160 million.

Hebrew media: The Chief of Staff of the occupation approves the detailed plan for the occupation of Gaza City.

Channel 12 reported that the Chief of Staff of the occupation army, Eyal Zamir, in collaboration with the commander of the southern region, has presented a detailed plan for the occupation of Gaza City. This plan comes as part of the military escalation in the region, aiming to enhance control over the city.

The plan includes a large-scale ground phase targeting an incursion into the heart of Gaza City, raising concerns about its political, military, and humanitarian costs. The approval of the Air Force commander for the plan has been announced, paving the way for its presentation to senior government officials.

The plan is expected to be presented to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of War Yoav Gallant, Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir for approval. This presentation will take place in the coming days before the security and political cabinet (the cabinet).

Internal warnings indicate that implementing this plan could lead to a significant escalation in the situation, likely resulting in serious humanitarian repercussions for the residents of Gaza. This has raised widespread concern among political and military circles.

These developments come amid ongoing escalation between the occupation army and Hamas, as the occupation seeks to regain control and enhance security in the border areas. However, the question remains about how these plans will affect the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Egypt reaffirms to Palestine its efforts to end the Gaza war and its commitment to rejecting displacement.

The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed during his meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Mohammed Mustafa in New Alamein City, the efforts of his country to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and its firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians. This meeting came as part of discussions on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Madbouly reiterated Egypt's steadfast position on the Palestinian issue, pointing to the solidarity of the Egyptian leadership and people with their Palestinian brothers in their plight, and their keenness to provide the necessary support to end the war on the Gaza Strip.

He also emphasized the complete rejection of any attempts aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land, stressing the need to halt the policies of home demolitions and settlement expansion in the Palestinian territories.

Madbouly stressed the continuation of intensive Egyptian efforts in international forums, and within the framework of mediation with Qatar and the United States, with the aim of returning to ceasefire negotiations and ensuring sustainable humanitarian aid delivery.

For his part, the Palestinian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of coordination between Palestine, Egypt, Arab countries, and international friends to stop the occupation's aggression against the Palestinian people and to open crossings for the entry of aid.

Mustafa also indicated the readiness of the State of Palestine to assume its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, under one political system and one law, with the necessity of unifying efforts with the West Bank.

This meeting comes after a series of meetings held by Hamas and Palestinian factions in Cairo to discuss reaching an agreement for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Seven Palestinian factions confirmed their responsiveness to initiatives to stop the aggression and called on Egypt to sponsor an urgent national meeting that includes all Palestinian forces to reach a unified strategy to confront the occupation's plans.

Mustafa is expected to head to the Rafah border crossing to inspect the crossing area and the warehouses designated for storing humanitarian aid, marking the first visit by a senior Palestinian official to the crossing since the onset of the aggression.

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has worsened since the occupation took control of the crossing, leading to the prevention of aid entry and the halt of patients leaving for treatment, amid a significant deterioration in health services.

Israel continues to commit grave violations against Palestinians, with the genocide resulting in more than 61,000 martyrs and 155,000 injured, necessitating urgent international action to stop these crimes.

The Chief of Staff of the Occupation Army tours Gaza announcing the next plan.

The Chief of Staff of the occupying army, Eyal Zamir, announced today, Sunday, that the aggression plan will move to the next phase of the "Gideon's Chariots" operation in the besieged Gaza Strip. These statements come at a time when the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, is sticking to his conditions for ending the war on the strip, which has violated all international laws and treaties related to human rights.

Zamir confirmed that the current battle is unlimited and is part of a long-term plan, emphasizing that the army has a "moral duty" to return the prisoners held in Gaza. This came during his tour of the destroyed areas of the strip, where he indicated that the "Gideon's Chariots" operation has achieved its objectives.

Zamir added that "Hamas no longer possesses the capabilities it had before this operation, and we have inflicted severe damage on it." He clarified that the current battle is not a localized event but part of a long-term plan targeting all components of the axis, led by Iran.

At the same time, Netanyahu renewed his conditions for ending the war, which include security control over the strip and disarming the Palestinian factions. These conditions come amid ongoing military escalation by the occupying army.

For its part, Hamas considered Zamir's statements regarding the occupation of Gaza as an announcement of a new wave of genocide and mass displacement, pointing out that these plans represent a major war crime.

The Islamic Jihad Movement also added that imposing the displacement of the population amid ongoing suffering represents a continuous crime against humanity, affirming that this behavior is inseparable from the daily crimes committed by the occupation in the occupied West Bank.

In a related context, the Civil Defense in Gaza reported that the occupying forces have destroyed more than 400 homes and residential buildings in the Zaitoun neighborhood over the past few days, exacerbating the suffering of the residents.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have continued to carry out genocide in the Gaza Strip, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls. This genocide has resulted in 61,944 martyrs and 155,886 injured, most of whom are children and women.
