Ben Gvir decides to arm an additional 100,000 settlers in the West Bank.

The Minister of National Security in the occupying government, the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir, on Monday approved the expansion of his controversial policy aimed at arming settlers, allowing about 100,000 additional settlers to obtain private gun licenses, a move that observers see as adding fuel to the fire of "settler terrorism" raging in the occupied West Bank.

A statement from Ben Gvir's office indicated that new settlements and towns have been added to the list of areas eligible for gun licenses, opening the door for tens of thousands of settlers to carry weapons legally.

Ben Gvir launched an intensive policy of arming settlers at the end of 2023, coinciding with the start of the genocide war waged by the occupying army on the Gaza Strip. According to figures from his office, about 230,000 new licenses for carrying firearms have been issued since then, a huge number that reflects the premeditated intention to place weapons in the hands of as many settlers as possible.

This policy comes under full political and legal cover from the occupying government, which encourages and supports settler attacks as a tool to implement plans for forced displacement and the seizure of Palestinian land.

Ben Gvir's new decision is directly linked to the alarming increase in the pace of terrorist attacks by settlers, in which firearms are used almost daily against unarmed Palestinian citizens in the cities and villages of the West Bank.

According to documented data, the month of July alone witnessed 466 terrorist attacks by settlers, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 citizens. These attacks also caused the forced displacement of 50 Palestinian families (267 individuals) from the Arab al-Malih and Deir Alla communities.

The crimes of the settlers did not stop there, as 232 acts of vandalism and theft of citizens' property were recorded during the same month, including the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 2,844 trees, of which 2,647 were olive trees, representing an open war on the livelihoods of Palestinians and their existence on their land.

Netanyahu talks about a military operation in Syria.. and threatens Iran and "Hamas"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed his aggressive rhetoric towards Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip today, Sunday, asserting that his government strikes Hezbollah every time it tries to raise its head.

In a video clip broadcast on his official account on the X platform, Netanyahu stated that the Israeli army carried out a military operation in Syria a few days ago, without revealing details, merely saying that operations would continue until the Iranian axis and Hamas are eliminated, and all hostages are recovered.

Netanyahu's statements come at a time when the northern front is experiencing ongoing tension, despite reaching a fragile ceasefire agreement in November 2024, mediated internationally.

The Israeli occupation continues to carry out airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, claiming they target weapons depots and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah. The Israeli occupation forces still control five border hills that they occupied during recent confrontations, in clear violation of the terms of the agreement.

In contrast, the Lebanese government announced on August 5 of this year that it has tasked the army with preparing a plan to disarm Hezbollah by the end of the year, as part of efforts to impose state sovereignty over all its territories.

Hezbollah categorically rejected this proposal, stipulating that for discussions on its weapons to take place, the Israeli occupation must stop its airstrikes and withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon.

In a different context, Netanyahu considered that all attempts by the internal opposition to overthrow his government will fail, referring to the ongoing protests in Tel Aviv and several Israeli cities, which demand early elections, accusing him of failing to manage the war on Gaza and regional issues.

Analysts confirm that Netanyahu's repeated statements against Hezbollah and Iran come as part of an attempt to regain political and military initiative, following the sharp criticisms his government faced due to the prolonged war in Gaza and the failure to achieve its declared objectives since October 2023.

Three Israeli officials had previously stated that Israel is considering annexing the occupied West Bank, in a potential response to France and other countries recognizing a Palestinian state, and another Israeli official mentioned that the idea will receive greater discussion.

A member of the security cabinet stated that Israel's assertion of sovereignty over the West Bank, meaning the actual annexation of the territories it seized in the 1967 war, is on the agenda of the meeting.

President of the European Council: Shocked by the Gaza disaster.. and we call for an immediate ceasefire and a rejection of settlement.

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, expressed his deep shock at the scale of the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip and the immense suffering endured by civilians, especially children, reiterating the unified European call for an immediate and sustainable ceasefire.

In a series of statements reflecting the official position of the Council, which represents the leaders of the 27 member states of the European Union, Michel emphasized the necessity of the immediate application of international humanitarian law and rejected any attempt to use starvation as a weapon of war.

He affirmed that "international humanitarian law applies to all parties and prohibits the use of starvation as a weapon of war," in a clear reference to the restrictions imposed on the entry of life-saving aid into the region.

American pressures behind Netanyahu's insistence on occupying the city of Gaza.. Trump: "Get the job done quickly."

The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet ministers for security and political affairs (the Cabinet) that U.S. President Donald Trump supports the military operation in the Gaza Strip, provided it is carried out quickly.

According to Israeli Channel "12," on Sunday, direct pressure from Trump is behind Netanyahu's insistence on proceeding with the option of occupying the city of Gaza, despite disagreements within the Israeli military and security institutions regarding the feasibility of this step.

The Cabinet held a meeting on Sunday evening to discuss the latest developments in the sector. Tel Aviv estimates that there are 49 Israeli captives in Gaza, including 20 who are alive, while more than 10,800 Palestinian prisoners are held in Israeli jails, subjected to systematic torture and medical neglect, with many having died in recent years, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights reports.

Informed Israeli sources confirmed to the channel that Trump's pressure on Netanyahu has increased in recent weeks, and that the U.S. president emphasized the necessity of "defeating Hamas" in Gaza.

The sources reported that Trump felt disappointed after Qatar expressed optimism about nearing a ceasefire agreement, but Israeli obstinacy and the campaign of starvation in the sector led Hamas to harden its negotiating position.

According to the channel, "Trump has lost his patience," and expressed surprise at the Israeli occupation's inability to achieve a quick victory over the Palestinian resistance despite the enormous military and political support provided to it.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a war described by international human rights organizations as genocide, resulting in more than 63,000 martyrs and 160,000 injured, the majority of whom are children and women, along with over 9,000 missing persons, while hundreds of thousands suffer from forced displacement and famine that has claimed the lives of 339 Palestinians, including 124 children.

Despite the scale of the massacres, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirm daily the execution of qualitative operations targeting Israeli soldiers and destroying military vehicles, in a scene that reflects the continued ability of the resistance to exhaust the Israeli army.

Hamas had agreed in mid-August to a partial proposal presented by mediators regarding a prisoner exchange, but the Israeli occupation has not announced a clear position on it, even though it nearly matches what it had previously agreed to.

The Israeli opposition and families of the prisoners accuse Netanyahu of evading a comprehensive deal that would lead to the end of the war, considering that he prefers partial agreements that allow for prolonging the battle to maintain his political survival.

Observers believe that Netanyahu fears the collapse of his government if he accepts a comprehensive agreement, especially in light of threats from his far-right partners to withdraw from the coalition if the war is stopped.

Netanyahu faces internal trials on corruption charges that could lead to his imprisonment, and the International Criminal Court is seeking his arrest on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians.

In this context, the channel noted that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff estimated that the military operation aimed at occupying the city of Gaza could conclude by the end of December, but Israeli security institutions fear that Trump may withdraw his support if images of the massacres escalate and become pressing on the U.S. administration.

According to estimates from the Israeli security establishment, they do not believe that Hamas's surrender after the army enters Gaza is likely, and they see that the chances of the movement accepting a comprehensive deal under the Cabinet's conditions are extremely low.

Netanyahu recently announced five conditions for reaching an agreement, the most prominent of which are the disarmament of Hamas, stripping the sector of any military force, imposing complete Israeli security control over it, along with establishing a civilian administration that does not include Hamas or the Palestinian Authority.

These conditions practically mean imposing a long-term Israeli mandate over the sector, opening the door to an endless war of attrition, at a time when international pressure to stop the massacres is increasing, amid the occupation's failure to achieve its military and political objectives.

Israeli soldiers: Hamas fighters are attacking us from tunnels in Gaza that they have repaired.

Channel 12 reported that Israeli military officials stated, "Hamas elements are repairing combat tunnels in areas where the 'army' operates, and they will use them again to launch operations."

They added: "Hamas fighters have restored between 15% and 20% of the combat tunnels in the Gaza Strip," and the military acknowledged that they had been subjected to about 10 attacks from tunnels that the occupation army had previously dealt with.

Field leaders in the Israeli army revealed that Hamas fighters are still emerging from tunnels in areas where Israeli soldiers are operating, as Hamas fighters quickly repair these combat tunnels, taking advantage of the surrounding destruction, allowing them to attack Israeli forces and reach the front lines without being detected.

For its part, the Mako Hebrew website published statements from Israeli officers saying that "Hamas elements are repairing combat tunnels, not fortified strategic tunnels, which makes it easier for them to rebuild without being detected," noting that repairing a combat tunnel takes one to two months, which includes creating detours or digging new openings, confirming that they have been subjected to several attacks in recent months.

Senior officials in the Israeli army told the Mako Hebrew website, "They had to place explosive devices and cameras at tunnel openings to avoid attacks, and according to several officers working in the Gaza Brigade, the 162nd Division and the 36th Division, several attacks were recorded in the past two months where Hamas fighters surprised Israeli forces after emerging from tunnels that the Israeli army was aware of and had previously dealt with, while they acknowledged that only a few of those attacks were announced, such as the infiltration of several Qassam fighters into the defenses of the Kfir Brigade, where they managed to withdraw alive."

The same applies to the incident that occurred in late July, where about ten Hamas fighters emerged from a tunnel that the "Israeli army" was addressing, and they all managed to return alive after the "Golani Brigade fighters" failed to close the gap and open fire.

According to assessments from some leaders quoted by the Mako website, in an operation that took place on August 15, Hamas fighters managed to penetrate the defenses of the Israeli army and attach an explosive device to a tank and a mortar shell, using a new column from a tunnel that the army was aware of and was supposed to have destroyed.

Officers also revealed that even in areas controlled by the Israel Defense Forces, the destroyed tunnels have been re-dug, stating: "In every area we left due to the end of a mission or a ceasefire, the first action Hamas took was to rebuild the destroyed tunnels, those that were important to them, which they believed they had the capability to rebuild."

The Mako Hebrew website report adds that maneuver division officers are unaware of the exact number of tunnels that Hamas has managed to rebuild in Gaza, primarily due to their lack of access to any research or intelligence information on this subject.

One Israeli officer, based on his experience in combat in Gaza, stated that Hamas succeeded in digging dozens of meters within weeks, adding: "They see rebuilding as an important step in their ability to advance to the front lines without being detected."

According to the report from the Hebrew website, "The capabilities of the Israeli army to fight inside tunnels are failing, despite the existence of units described as highly professional and elite, which apparently do not exist at all, contradicting the statements of army leaders and exposing the inability to effectively deal with the vast number of tunnels and underground infrastructure.

Minority Against Genocide.. 131 Israeli Journalists Call for an End to Targeting Gaza Journalists

On Monday, 131 Israeli journalists called for an immediate halt to the targeting of Palestinian journalists in Gaza, and for an independent investigation into the operations that killed them, as part of a genocide supported by most of Israeli society.

On Sunday, the Gaza government media office announced that the death toll of journalists since October 7, 2023, had risen to 247, following the killing of journalist Islam Abed by an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City.

131 Israeli journalists signed a petition, which I reviewed, titled "Journalists Call for an End to the War." With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.

This genocide has resulted in 63,557 dead and 160,660 injured Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has killed 348 Palestinians, including 127 children.

The journalists stated: "We are drafting this statement in light of the ongoing catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, particularly against the residents of the strip and the captives (Israeli prisoners)."

They added: "In the face of the horrific crisis affecting journalism across the country, which is created by Israel... We are appalled by the ongoing killing of female and male journalists in Gaza."

"According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (international), 168 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza. In 2024, Israel earned the disgraceful title of being the country responsible for the highest number of journalist deaths that year," according to the statement.

They continued: "As for those journalists who have managed to survive, they continue to cover daily under impossible conditions."

They explained: "They often work under bombardment, without homes to shelter them, without internet connection or continuous electricity supply, and often without food for themselves and their families."

The Israeli journalists went on to say: "We express our full solidarity with our colleagues in Gaza, and we demand our government to immediately stop targeting them and to open an independent investigation into the cases of journalists' deaths."

They added that "at the same time that Israel continues to kill journalists in Gaza and publicly questions the credibility of all journalistic reports coming from the strip, it prevents foreign media from entering to cover what is happening there freely and independently and without dependency."

They continued: "We join the demand of the Foreign Press Association in Israel, which repeatedly approaches the Supreme Court demanding that journalists be allowed to enter Gaza freely, but these demands have so far been met with rejection."

Critically supporting the war, the journalists said: "We feel disappointed by the betrayal of many newsrooms in Israel to their role."

They added: "The humanitarian cost of the war on Gaza is obscured in the media, and the Israeli public does not receive the tools and knowledge it needs to analyze the reality."

"This packaged media approach, stemming from a mistaken perception of what is called 'the public interest,' obscures fundamental truths about military operations in Gaza and the West Bank and their repercussions on Palestinians, the captives (prisoners), soldiers, and society as a whole," according to the statement.

They affirmed that "military censorship is tightening its grip these days and causing severe damage to journalistic freedom, but the bigger problem facing journalism in Israel is self-censorship."

They continued: "Some media outlets provide a platform for explicit calls to commit war crimes, and even to commit genocide, alongside ongoing racial incitement."

The journalists said: "We believe that our basic humanitarian duty is to scream and demand an immediate end to this war, to reach a deal that guarantees the release of all captives, and to start rebuilding Gaza and rebuilding our lives."

They added: "Alongside engaging in negotiations and long-term solutions based on peace, equality, security, and freedom for all the inhabitants of this land."

They stated that their position comes "in the face of the ongoing massacre that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of civilians in Gaza, and the systematic starvation policy that has led to famine for hundreds of thousands and malnutrition for tens of thousands of children."

Also "in the face of the systematic destruction of the means of life in Gaza, the ongoing abandonment of the captives, and in front of a war that we fully recognize is a crime in itself and does not contribute in any way to our security," according to the statement.

Israel usually denies intentionally targeting journalists or claims that

Israeli writer: The Gaza war is the worst in our history and Hamas has not been defeated.

The Israeli writer Ben Caspit described the ongoing war that Israel has been waging against the Gaza Strip for 23 months as "the worst in Israel's history."

In an article, the writer stated that the results of this war so far "show a catastrophic failure despite nearly two years since its outbreak."

Caspit cited "the death of more than 900 Israeli soldiers during the war, without Israel being able to achieve the promised 'decisive victory' against the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas), which the writer considers to be the 'weakest' among Israel's enemies."

The writer held Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "fully responsible for the ongoing deadlock that Israel is experiencing."

Caspit believes that "Israel has been engaged in an unprecedented war in the Gaza Strip for nearly two years, during which it has mobilized a massive arsenal of military power against Hamas, which has established an army for itself."

He stated that Hamas "does not have an air force, does not possess heavy weapons, does not have armored equipment, does not have anti-aircraft missiles, does not have a naval fleet, does not have radars, and does not have interceptive weapons, and is confined to an isolated strip that is besieged from the ground, flat and free of ground obstacles."

He commented on this by saying, "If the Israeli army, in all its might, is unable to defeat a besieged movement in a narrow strip without air defense or advanced weapons or a regular army, then this is a strategic disaster."

He added, "What has happened so far can only be described as defeat, as Hamas is much weaker than the Lebanese Hezbollah, and cannot be compared to Iran or even Syria, yet Israel has not succeeded in fully subjugating it."

He also referred to the Israeli soldier Ariel Lublin, who was recently killed, saying, "He has become the 900th casualty from the army in this war, embodying the magnitude of the heavy price that Israel has paid in vain."

Caspit considered that these numbers reveal "a futile war" managed by Netanyahu and his government.

He confirmed that the Israeli army "has already dismantled the military structures of Hamas and killed thousands of its fighters and leaders, but the absence of a political vision and responsible leadership has made victory unattainable on the ground."

Ben Caspit continues in his article, saying, "The problem is not in the army's capabilities or in the size of the sacrifices, but in the dysfunctional political leadership."

Netanyahu still insists on promoting the idea that "the decisive victory has not yet been achieved," merely to prolong his stay in power and avoid his ongoing trial on corruption charges.

Caspit harshly criticizes Netanyahu's recent argument that Israel "now enjoys international legitimacy to occupy Gaza," considering this statement "completely inverted, as Israel has become a pariah state on the international stage, and its status is at an all-time low."

He adds, "They spit on us and condemn us in every corner of the world, including America, our greatest friend, including areas where one could until now feel free as an Israeli and a Jew, while the process of recognizing a Palestinian state accelerates.

The world has grown tired of us."

The writer believes that "any new military operation will exacerbate Israel's isolation, while part of the lost international sympathy could have been restored through entering into a partial exchange deal that saves the lives of dozens held by Hamas."

The article touched on the Israeli prisoners still in Hamas's grip, considering that Netanyahu "is manipulating their fate and making them hostages to his political interests, just as he is a hostage" to the blackmail of his right-wing partners Ben Gvir and Smotrich.

The writer concluded his article by saying, "We are hostages to Netanyahu, and our captives are with Hamas, and this equation is like the Bermuda Triangle of the horrific reality into which Israel has slipped in the summer of 2025."

Students from 70 schools in Israel demand the government to reach an agreement with Hamas.

Israel witnessed widespread student protests today, Monday, with the start of the new school year, as student bodies in 70 high schools demanded that the Israeli government finalize a prisoner exchange deal with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that students closed the entrances of 17 schools in central Israel, expressing their rejection of the government's continued procrastination on the prisoner issue.

The newspaper noted that the student bodies announced a one-day strike that included dozens of schools across the country, as a protest message against the government's disregard for the demands of the families of prisoners held in Gaza.

A demonstration was also organized in front of the home of Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs and head of the negotiating team, Ron Dermer, where protesters demanded the swift conclusion of the deal.

In the same context, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that high school students organized simultaneous protests, affirming in their statement: "We cannot accept the reality of returning to normal life while 48 are held captive in Gaza."

The new school year has begun, and according to Yedioth Ahronoth, it started with the participation of 2,587,000 students after the summer vacation, but the atmosphere of returning to school was overshadowed by the anger of students and the families of prisoners.

These developments come alongside ongoing demonstrations by the families of prisoners in various Israeli cities, pressuring the government to finalize a prisoner exchange deal, even if the price is to stop the war on Gaza.

Hamas had agreed to the mediators' proposal, which includes a 60-day ceasefire during which negotiations would take place for a comprehensive halt to the war, alongside a prisoner exchange, the introduction of humanitarian aid, and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from some locations in the sector.

However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza – rejected the offer, insisting on a plan to expand military operations to occupy the city of Gaza, amid increasing warnings of a humanitarian disaster.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip with absolute American support, resulting by Sunday evening in the martyrdom of 63,459 Palestinians and the injury of 160,256 others, most of whom are children and women, alongside more than 9,000 missing and famine that has killed 339 Palestinians, including 124 children.

Ghazans against the current.. A return movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip despite the occupation's threats.

Most residents of Gaza City did not respond to the threats and orders of the occupation that are trying to push them to flee south, despite the horrific massacres and the extensive bombing and shelling of homes and residential neighborhoods in the south, north, and east of the besieged city.

Official statements indicated that more than a million Palestinians remain in Gaza City, "refusing to succumb to the policy of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing, affirming their legendary steadfastness in the face of the criminal Israeli war machine."

While only a very few managed to flee south out of fear of the bombing extending and intensifying in the western areas of Gaza City, where the displaced are piling up, some carried their belongings and decided to go against the current, returning to the city despite the dangers and threats surrounding it, due to the difficult conditions of displacement in the southern areas.

In a conversation with "Arabi21," Suleiman Hijazi said he fled three days ago to the city of Deir al-Balah, searching for an empty place to pitch the stakes of his dilapidated tent, but he was shocked by the reality on the ground there, as severe congestion and overcrowding dominate the scene.

Hijazi pointed out that what remains of empty land in the western areas of Deir al-Balah is either unsuitable for habitation, already reserved, or offered for rent at exorbitant amounts that most residents of Gaza cannot afford after being financially drained over 23 months of brutal war, affirming at the same time that he decided to return to his destroyed home in Gaza to pitch his tent again on its ruins, saying: "We have entrusted our matter to God and are waiting for His fate and kindness."

For his part, Mohammed Al-Hissi said he decided to return to his displacement area west of Gaza City, near the coastal strip, after he became fed up with trying to find a tent or a place to take refuge in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the southern sector.

Al-Hissi noted in a special conversation with "Arabi21" that he fled last week from the town of Jabalia with his family amid the heavy bombing carried out by the occupation forces in the town, where he managed to settle in an area located west of the Al-Karama neighborhood in Gaza, before deciding to go to the areas that the occupation is pushing people to flee to in the southern sector.

He added: "I went alone to the Mawasi area of Khan Younis searching for a place to take refuge, intending to bring my family later, but I was surprised that the area was very crowded, with no place to pitch tents, and there are no services there (...), the area is a sad forest of crowded tents, with people burdened by worries and weighed down by wounds and suffering, and so I decided to return again to Gaza and stay there with my family despite all the dangers surrounding us."

In a related context, media sources told "Arabi21" that a large number of citizens returned on Monday to the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City, despite the bombing and the extensive destruction that struck the neighborhood due to the operations of the occupation forces there.

The sources pointed out that the occupation forces targeted the returnees, as they bombed a group of citizens in the vicinity of the Shujaiya police station, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several of them, in an attempt to prevent people from returning to areas that had previously witnessed operations like Shujaiya, Zeitoun, and other areas in Gaza.

For its part, the government media office, in previous statements received by "Arabi21," stated that the occupation army promotes lies and false claims and disseminates misleading maps to forcibly displace the residents of Gaza and the north towards the south.

The office emphasized that the claims promoted by the occupation army regarding the existence of "vast empty spaces" in southern Gaza are false claims that contradict the field realities and represent an attempt to mislead international public opinion and cover up the crime of "widespread forced displacement," and that these allegations come as part of a propaganda campaign aimed at breaking the steadfastness of our Palestinian people in Gaza and the north.

It mentioned that the southern and central governorates of the Gaza Strip are completely overcrowded with more than one and a quarter million forcibly displaced individuals who fled from the continuous bombing, living in makeshift tents lacking the most basic facilities and without the minimum requirements for life.

It confirmed that the areas referred to by the occupation, whether in the "Mawasi" in Khan Younis or the "central camps," are limited lands not equipped to accommodate this huge number of people, most of which are farms or private lands, and some are

Global Newspapers: Netanyahu's Strategy and Efforts for Media Control Failed in Gaza

Global newspapers addressed various aspects of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, focusing on the failure of the Israeli military strategy, the policy of preventing media coverage, and the escalating humanitarian crisis.

In its assessment of the military situation, the Israeli newspaper Maariv described the notion that defeating the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) requires seizing the city of Gaza as "misleading propaganda" promoted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court.

The newspaper clarified that occupying the Strip does not carry any clear strategic goal for Israel, noting that the security incidents faced by soldiers show that the Israeli army is sinking into what resembles quicksand, and that the army leadership is well aware of this reality.

This perspective aligns with what Haaretz presented in an article about what it called the "August lesson" that Netanyahu did not learn from.

The newspaper recalled the incident of retrieving the bodies of 6 prisoners from inside a tunnel in Rafah, an area that many security leaders warned against entering, while Netanyahu insisted on proceeding with this endeavor, which led to the deaths of hostages.

The newspaper points out that Netanyahu is now repeating the same mistake and pushing Israeli forces to the location where the remaining hostages are.

On the media front, The New York Times highlighted the abysmal failure of Netanyahu's strategy to control the Israeli narrative globally.

It noted that Netanyahu and his government partners believed that preventing foreign journalists from entering Gaza would enhance the Israeli narrative.

While this policy internally helped provide some Israelis with an excuse to dismiss coverage of the crisis as Palestinian propaganda, it failed miserably on the global stage.

The newspaper addressed the effective role of "brave" Palestinian journalists and social media in enabling the world to witness the mass killings and the manifestations of hunger and widespread destruction in Gaza, which sparked widespread condemnation against Israel.

The British newspaper The Guardian deepened this analysis by highlighting the danger threatening the lives of journalists and their families in Gaza.

It explained that Israel's desire to prevent the world from seeing the violations being committed has imposed a heavy price on Palestinian journalists.

Instead of stopping international condemnation of its behavior by ending the war, Israel is working hard to prevent the world from knowing any news about what is happening inside Gaza and is determined to promote its narrative.

In the humanitarian context, The Washington Post discussed what it described as the largest initiative so far to lift the siege on Gaza and the fourth attempt within a year to deliver aid to the Palestinians in the Strip by sea.

The newspaper pointed to the "Fleet of Resilience" that set sail from Barcelona heading towards the shores of Gaza at a time when Israel threatens to reduce the amounts of aid it allows to enter, even though it does not meet a significant percentage of basic needs according to expert estimates.

Division in the "Cabinet".. Netanyahu rejects the hostage deal and insists on occupying Gaza

A stormy meeting of the small ministerial council (the cabinet) of the occupying government revealed a deep rift between the political level led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the entire security establishment regarding the future of the war and the handling of the prisoner issue in Gaza.

While Netanyahu strongly pushed for the rejection of any "partial" prisoner exchange deal, preferring to proceed with a large-scale military operation to occupy the city of Gaza, all security leaders unanimously warned that this step would be a "heavy price" and would turn Gaza into a "Vietnam for the occupation."

Report: The occupying army demolishes about 300 housing units daily in Gaza using explosive-laden vehicles.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor documented that the Israeli army is daily destroying approximately 300 residential units, either completely or partially, in the city of Gaza and the town of Jabalia using about 15 explosive-laden vehicles carrying nearly 100 tons of explosives, in a campaign aimed at erasing the city and displacing its residents.

The monitor confirmed, in a report today, that these explosions are occurring at an unprecedented rate, targeting entire neighborhoods in the areas of Jabalia town and Al-Nazla, as well as the neighborhoods of Al-Zeitoun, Al-Sabra, Al-Shuja'iyya, and Al-Tuffah in the south and east of the city, reaching the areas of Al-Saftawi and Abu Iskandar in the northwest of Gaza.

The monitor explained that each explosive-laden vehicle is capable of destroying about 20 residential units, which means the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians under lethal conditions, depriving them of any means of survival.

It added that these vehicles, often old troop carriers, are loaded with explosives and remotely operated in civilian neighborhoods to detonate them carefully, which amplifies their destructive impact and turns the operation into a systematic tool of psychological terror.

The monitor pointed out that the sound of the explosions reaches distances exceeding 40 km, reflecting the extent of the destruction caused by these vehicles, emphasizing that the international community is failing to hold Israel accountable, which has enabled it to continue committing these crimes openly and without legal justifications.

The monitor affirmed that the use of explosive-laden vehicles in residential areas constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law and is classified as a war crime and a crime against humanity, and is included among acts that may amount to genocide.

The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor called on the United Nations General Assembly to take immediate action under the "Uniting for Peace" resolution of 1950, to take collective measures to protect civilians, ensure access to humanitarian aid, end the blockade, and facilitate reconstruction.

The monitor clarified that more than one million Palestinians in the city of Gaza are facing an immediate existential threat due to the ongoing destruction, starvation policies, and decisions of forced displacement.

Sa'ar informs Rubio of Israel's intention to annex the West Bank, and the Washington ambassador visits the Efrat settlement.

Israeli and American sources revealed that the issue of imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank has returned strongly to the forefront of political discussions between Tel Aviv and Washington, amid Israeli warnings to announce the step in the coming months, at a time when international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state are escalating.

The Israeli website "Walla" reported from special sources that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar informed his American counterpart Marco Rubio during their recent meeting in Washington that Israel is quietly moving towards imposing its sovereignty over the West Bank.

The sources indicated that the official discussions that took place between the two ministers last Wednesday openly addressed the files of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, while the issue of sovereignty over the West Bank was discussed behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post confirmed that American officials made it clear to their Israeli counterparts that the sovereignty decision is "an internal Israeli matter," and that Tel Aviv must clarify its position before entering into negotiations with Washington.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee made a "social" visit to the Efrat settlement in southern Bethlehem and participated in Saturday prayers at a local synagogue.

The head of the settlement council, Dovi Sheffler, noted that the visit represents "moral support that strengthens settlement," as he put it.

Huckabee used the term "Judea and Samaria" instead of the West Bank, in clear alignment with official Israeli terminology, and considered that European actions against Israel "are pushing increasing sectors within Israel to seriously consider annexing parts of the area."

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the security cabinet discussed the issue of annexing the West Bank in its last meeting, and that it will hold another session dedicated next Sunday to discuss the possibility of imposing sovereignty as a "direct response" to the wave of recognition of the Palestinian state expected from several countries during this month.

In turn, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich intensified pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - who is wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of war crimes - demanding a swift and decisive decision.

During a speech in the settlement of Ofra in the West Bank, he stated that "sovereignty is not decided in Washington or the United Nations, but here in Israel," calling for its imposition over the entire West Bank, not just specific parts of it.

These developments coincide with preparations for the United Nations General Assembly meeting in September, where a group of countries - including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, and San Marino - intends to push for official recognition of the Palestinian state.

Other European countries, such as Britain, France, Malta, and Norway, have preceded them in announcing similar positions.

In contrast, Israel continues its bloody aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with absolute American support, resulting in the martyrdom of 63,459 Palestinians and the injury of 160,256 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing, and famine that has killed 339 Palestinians, including 124 children.

In the West Bank, the ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 1,016 Palestinians, the injury of about 7,000 others, and the arrest of more than 18,500 Palestinians, according to Palestinian statistics.

The first of its kind: 200 media outlets turn off their front pages and radio programs in protest against the targeting of journalists in the Gaza Strip.

In an unprecedented global move, nearly 200 media outlets from 50 countries will simultaneously disable their front pages, main websites, and even radio programs today, Monday, to demand an end to the targeting of journalists in Gaza and to call for enabling international journalism to access the besieged sector.

This "exceptional" action is organized by the organization "Reporters Without Borders" in collaboration with the global campaigning movement "Avaaz" and the International Federation of Journalists, and printed newspapers are set to release black front pages carrying a unified message.

This move comes at a time when international organizations have described the situation in Gaza as "the deadliest massacre against journalists in modern times," with the number of martyrs among them rising to more than 240 journalists since October 7, 2023.

The occupying authorities have prevented foreign media from entering Gaza for nearly two years, leaving Palestinian journalists exposed to gunfire.

The Director-General of Reporters Without Borders, Christophe Deloire, stated: "At the rate journalists are being killed in Gaza by the Israeli army, the entire world will soon lose the ability to keep up with the latest developments."

He added: "This is not just a war on Gaza; it is a war on journalism itself. Journalists are being killed, targeted, and their reputations are being tarnished. Without them, who will speak about famine, who will expose war crimes, and who will condemn genocide?"

After ten years of the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopting its resolution 2222, we are witnessing, before the eyes of the entire world, the erosion of international law guarantees to protect journalists.

The solidarity of media and journalists around the world is essential. They must be thanked: the brotherhood of journalists is what will save freedom.

Andrew Leigon, Campaign Director at Avaaz, said: "It is very clear that Gaza has turned into a graveyard for journalists for a good reason. The far-right government in Israel is trying to finish the job in secrecy, away from the eyes of the press."

If the last witnesses are silenced, the killing will not stop; it will pass unnoticed. That is why we unite with newsrooms around the world today to say: "We cannot, and we will not allow this to happen!"

Anthony Bellanger, Secretary-General of the International Federation of Journalists, stated: "Every journalist killed in Gaza was a colleague, a friend, or a family member. They risked everything to convey the truth to the world, and they paid for it with their lives."

The public's right to know has been severely harmed as a result of this war. We demand justice and a United Nations international convention on the safety and independence of journalists.

The General Supervisor of Official Media, Minister Ahmed Assaf, welcomed the honorable move of international media regarding the deliberate targeting of journalists in the Gaza Strip.

Minister Assaf praised the initiative of the International Federation of Journalists and Reporters Without Borders, in a step he considered extremely important to expose the crimes of the occupation and to unveil them before the world.

He confirmed that the Palestinian media narrative has achieved a real victory during the ongoing aggression of the occupation against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, despite seventy years of the occupation's attempts to obscure the truth and distort reality.

He pointed out that the crimes committed by the occupying state against Palestinian journalists, including killing, arresting, and direct targeting of media crews, come within a systematic policy to obscure the image and hide the truth from the world.

He emphasized that the Palestinian official media has not been immune from the deliberate killing machine, as more than 240 Palestinian journalists have been martyred in an attempt to silence the voice and kill the image.

He affirmed that these sacrifices have not weakened the determination of Palestinian journalists; rather, they have increased their resolve to continue their national and humanitarian mission in defense of Palestinian rights and in rejection of the policies of displacement and killing pursued by the occupying government.

He added that the unity of the Palestinian and Arab media stance, and the solidarity of free peoples around the world, has significantly contributed to restoring the Palestinian cause in international media, despite the occupation's repeated attempts to obscure the facts and distort the image of the Palestinian people.

In turn, the head of the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate, Nasser Abu Baker, commented: This is the largest international solidarity operation, which has come as a result of a significant movement we are undertaking in support and advocacy campaigns for Palestinian journalists, in collaboration with media institutions, journalists, and unions at all levels.

He noted that the campaign is the beginning

More than 500 dead and wounded in Gaza due to the ongoing massacres and genocide.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen due to the ongoing genocide and horrific massacres against unarmed civilians.

The ministry confirmed in a statement that the toll has reached 63,557 dead since the onset of the aggression, while the number of injuries has risen to 160,660 since the beginning of the aggression, with several martyrs still trapped under the rubble, and rescue teams unable to reach them.

It was noted that 98 martyrs and 404 injured individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, while the total number of dead and injuries since March 18, following the violation of the ceasefire agreement by the occupation, has reached 11,426 dead and 48,619 injured.

It clarified that the toll of those who reached hospitals from the aid dead during the past 24 hours was 46 dead and 239 injuries, bringing the total number of dead from the struggle for livelihood who reached hospitals to 2,294, and the injuries to 16,839.

Gaza is dying of hunger.. Only 534 aid trucks entered in 5 days.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that only 534 aid trucks entered the strip over 5 days out of an expected 3,000 trucks, and that they "were subjected to looting and theft."

During the past five days (from Tuesday to Saturday), only 534 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip, out of the expected 3,000 trucks.

They were subjected to looting and theft amid deliberate security chaos created by the Israeli occupation as part of a policy of engineering starvation and chaos, aimed at undermining the resilience of our Palestinian people.

The total number of trucks that entered over the course of 35 days was only 3,188 aid trucks out of the expected quantity of 21,000 trucks, meaning that only about 15% of the actual needs have been met.

The office confirmed that these quantities were subjected to looting and theft, as the occupation prevents the entry of aid trucks in sufficient quantities.

The occupation continues to prevent securing what enters in terms of aid trucks, and continues to close the crossings and undermine the work of humanitarian institutions.

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings leading to Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid, which has plunged the strip into famine despite the accumulation of relief trucks at its borders.

About a month ago, it allowed limited quantities of aid to enter that do not meet the minimum needs of the starving, and famine continues.

The Israeli occupation continues its siege on the Gaza Strip by completely closing the crossings for more than six consecutive months, preventing the entry of 430 types of basic food items.

In addition to depriving civilians of hundreds of other items, the occupation prohibits the entry of a list of vital food materials.

The Gaza Strip needs more than 600 different aid trucks daily to meet the minimum needs of 2.4 million people.

The occupation and its allies bear full responsibility for the humanitarian disaster, and called on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community to take serious action to open the crossings.

Senior security officials in the cabinet supported a partial deal and warned that the occupation of Gaza City would not lead to the subjugation of Hamas.

Senior security officials in the cabinet supported a partial deal and warned that occupying the city of Gaza would not lead to subduing Hamas.

Amos Harel, military analyst for Haaretz

The Security Cabinet met yesterday (Sunday) to discuss strategy more than tactics. Although the initial leaks from the meeting addressed, as expected, provocations from the right-wing messianic ministers towards the army, it seems that something significant occurred. All representatives of the security agencies presented a firm stance in favor of a partial prisoner exchange deal. They also warned of the consequences of military control over the city of Gaza, considering that it would likely come at a high cost to Israel without subduing Hamas. It is unusual that some Likud ministers also expressed doubts about the success of the operation.

Behind these developments are two important elements: Hamas's positive response to the partial prisoner exchange plan, which was reported two weeks ago, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's insistence on ignoring it and sending army forces soon to Gaza. Security officials were surprised that some ministers, including Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Science and Technology Minister Gila Gamliel, Regional Cooperation Minister David Amsalem, and even Justice Minister Yariv Levin, raised difficult questions. Amsalem warned that the sector could turn into "Vietnam for Israel." Sa'ar described the deterioration in Israel's international standing amid the ongoing war and questioned why Israel's position (essentially Netanyahu's position) had changed from initially supporting the deal to opposing it now after Hamas's approval.

Netanyahu clarified the support of U.S. President Donald Trump for the Israeli military operation, emphasizing that Trump would support Israel if it acted quickly. The Prime Minister described the dilemma as a historic test for Israel, pointing out that Israeli deterrence is at stake, and that any satisfaction with a partial deal without subduing Hamas would mean that Hamas "brought Israel to its knees" by kidnapping its citizens. Netanyahu appeared to fully align with the rhetoric of the right-wing ministers.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for a vote against the partial deal, while Netanyahu avoided responding directly. Gamliel warned Ben Gvir of the possibility of losing the vote. Settlement Minister Orit Strock attacked Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, indicating that if he feared the consequences of the war, it would be better for him to resign. Zamir, who seemed less affected than Strock and her colleagues wanted us to believe, clarified that he is not someone who shows blind obedience to the cabinet.

It seems that the cabinet has never executed an operation this extreme, contrary to the position of senior security officials, although they announced that they would carry out orders when issued. According to estimates from all security agencies, a large-scale military operation in Gaza would not lead to a quick subjugation of Hamas as Netanyahu claims, nor would it force the organization to accept his terms for a complete deal.

On the contrary, it is expected to exacerbate Israel's international situation amid increasing international initiatives to recognize the Palestinian state and the risk of rising tensions in the West Bank.

Zamir warned the cabinet that the new operation in Gaza could last a full year, and that there are currently no humanitarian conditions to accommodate the Palestinian populations that will be pushed south from the city. He also noted that the final outcome of the operation would be the establishment of military rule, which the state is not prepared for in any form.

Netanyahu continues to show his determination to act despite widespread opposition in professional circles and the public, and to some extent within the cabinet itself. The reasons are largely clear: he does not want a deal that ends the war and opens the political agenda to discuss his performance since the massacre of October 7 and the demands for the establishment of a national inquiry committee, especially with an election year approaching.

What does Trump want from the sector?

The Washington Post published two days ago an ambitious plan discussed by the U.S. administration regarding the "day after" the war. According to the plan, the United States will administer the sector as a mandate for at least ten years, during which "Palestinian populations will be voluntarily relocated" or confined to small areas within it, while the Americans transform the region into a tourist resort. After a decade, the populations will be able to return to "smart cities powered by artificial intelligence."

The chances of success for this "Riviera," according to Trump, seem similar to the chances of the American-Israeli Gaza humanitarian association providing food aid to two million Gazans, while

The mayor told Al-Jazeera Net: Deir al-Balah is groaning under the burden of displacement

The mayor of Deir al-Balah, Nizar Ayash, stated that the center of the Gaza Strip is completely overcrowded, and there are no available spaces to set up new tents. He added that the infrastructure is completely dilapidated, and the desalination plant needs large quantities of fuel to provide limited amounts of water.

Ayash pointed out that what is happening in Deir al-Balah applies to other areas of the central governorate. He continued that "the coastal area is overcrowded with displaced people, while the eastern area is subjected to ongoing military operations, making it unsafe."

Ayash warned of a humanitarian and environmental disaster due to the continued military pressure and displacement, which threatens a complete collapse of all life components, calling for urgent international action to protect civilians and infrastructure and to stop the aggression immediately.

The situation in Deir al-Balah is catastrophic by all measures, as the city is completely overcrowded with residents, and there is no longer any space to set up new tents or accommodate more displaced people.

The streets and public facilities have turned into temporary living spaces, and people are sleeping on the ground without any means for life. With the return of waves of displacement, Deir al-Balah has become a suffocated area under the weight of the increasing number of families, and with it, the humanitarian suffering is worsening day by day.

The challenges are multiple and intertwined, the most prominent of which are the lack of privacy and the absence of adequate shelter, in addition to the acute shortage of potable water, the lack of public hygiene, and the accumulation of waste, which threatens the spread of diseases and epidemics.

Families are also suffering from a lack of food and medicine, and the exacerbation of psychological problems, especially among children and women due to the continuous pressure and living in inhumane conditions.

The infrastructure in Deir al-Balah is largely dilapidated, as the destruction has affected water, electricity, sewage networks, and roads, especially in the eastern and southern areas that were invaded and completely destroyed by the Israeli army.

We need large quantities of fuel (diesel) to operate the sewage treatment plant, remove waste, and operate water wells. Additionally, citizens' encroachments on the main water network have hindered our ability to deliver it as needed.

With the availability of diesel and the resumption of operation of the central seawater desalination plant south of Deir al-Balah via the Israeli 24 line, the deficit has decreased from 70% to 30%, allowing for the provision of 10,000 cups of potable water daily in Deir al-Balah, but this is insufficient due to the increasing number of displaced people.

We have 22 water wells, and two out of four tanks with a capacity of 4,000 cups, all of which are operational and need 2,000 liters of diesel daily to produce 15,000 cups of water daily, and to deliver water to homes twice a week.

The reflection is very serious; citizens receive limited quantities that are not enough for drinking or daily uses. Many families resort to buying water from unverified sources, which threatens the spread of diseases.

Repeated waves of displacement have caused suffocating health and environmental crises, the most prominent of which is the accumulation of waste in the streets, and the blockage of sewage networks or their breakdown.

Yes, we have observed an increase in cases of diarrhea and intestinal poisoning among children, in addition to skin diseases such as scabies due to overcrowding.

The municipality's capabilities are almost nonexistent; the cleaning teams work with very limited tools, but the volume of waste exceeds our capacity.

Today, the city has become overcrowded in an unprecedented manner due to waves of displacement, and with the lack of services and the collapse of infrastructure, suffering is escalating.

The military operations make the entire area unsafe; many families have been forced to flee repeatedly due to shelling and clashes.

If the situation continues, we are facing a complete collapse and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, as the city is no longer able to accommodate more displaced people.

17 dead in Gaza as the occupation bombards Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital again.

Medical sources reported that 17 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. A number of injuries also occurred when the occupation targeted the outpatient clinic building of the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the center of the strip.

A correspondent mentioned that the occupation army carried out demolition operations on houses east of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, northern Gaza. Earlier, sources in Gaza hospitals stated that 78 Palestinians were martyred by the occupation's fire yesterday, Sunday, including 32 waiting for aid.

A source at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah stated that several Palestinians were injured in the Israeli shelling of the outpatient clinic building. The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned the "ongoing Israeli aggression" on the hospital for the fourteenth consecutive time since the war on the strip began, noting that the shelling is a continuation of the systematic crime against the health system in the strip.

It also considered the shelling of hospitals in the strip a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian charters. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated in a statement that the shelling of the outpatient clinic building at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital is a "war crime aimed at destroying what remains of the medical sector."

On another note, a correspondent reported that continuous Israeli shelling is targeting the northeastern neighborhoods of Gaza City and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northern city. A source in the ambulance and emergency services reported that 8 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli airstrikes on two houses in the Tunnel area and the Beach Camp in the city.

A source at the Baptist Hospital reported that several people, including children, were injured due to the targeting of Israeli warplanes on a residential block in the Sabra neighborhood in the southern city. Special photos showed the extent of the widespread destruction caused by the shelling.

Several Palestinians, including children and women, were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation aircraft targeting homes in the Shanti area, in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the northwest of the city. A number of Palestinians were also injured in Israeli shelling on tents housing displaced persons in the Beach Camp in western Gaza.

In the central strip, a source at Al-Awda Hospital reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli shelling on a house in the Al-Bureij Camp. Palestinian media outlets also reported that occupation aircraft launched an airstrike on the Talbani neighborhood east of Deir al-Balah city.

Media sources reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Younis in the southern strip. Regarding resistance operations, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced in a statement early today that they destroyed an armored personnel carrier with a powerful explosive device in the Nazlah area west of Jabalia, causing it to catch fire.

They added that they monitored the landing of helicopter aircraft to evacuate the injured. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying state, with American support, has been waging a genocidal war in Gaza, resulting in more than 203,000 Palestinian killed and injured, most of whom are children and women, over 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and famine that has claimed many lives.

The occupation's aggression against Jenin and its camp enters its seventh month, resulting in heavy losses and the displacement of 22,000 people.

The Israeli occupation's aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp has entered its seventh month, amidst widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, and the displacement of thousands of citizens from their homes.

Bashir Matahin, the Director of Public Relations at the Jenin Municipality, stated that the occupation has completely destroyed more than 600 homes since the beginning of the camp's invasion, and partially demolished nearly 1,000 housing units, leading to the displacement of about 22,000 of its residents.

He added that the occupying army, which is permanently present in the Jenin camp, prevents anyone from entering or leaving, complicating the municipality's efforts and its teams in accurately assessing the damages.

He continued, saying: From our close observations of the camp, we realize that the occupation has completely changed the map of the camp, as several landmarks have been removed, in addition to the construction of many roads and streets within it.

He confirmed that the continuation of the aggression exacerbates the crisis of the displaced, in addition to the increasing challenge of accommodating students from the Jenin camp in nearby schools.

He said: We will witness overcrowding in the classrooms of several schools close to the locations of the displaced, especially since the occupation has closed 8 schools in the camp and its surroundings.

The Jenin Municipality estimates its direct losses at about 400 million dollars, while indirect losses are escalating and increasing daily due to the ongoing economic crisis in the city.

According to Matahin, a deep recession has hit the city's markets due to the closure of the Jalameh crossing and the daily presence of the occupying army.

He confirmed that the Jenin Municipality has started, three months ago, a rehabilitation process for the streets of Jenin city with full support from the Palestinian government.

Since the onset of the aggression against the city and the camp on January 21, 2023, 40 martyrs have fallen, along with dozens of injuries and cases of arrest.

To protect its independence and existence.. the United Nations should move its annual meeting to Geneva.

Dr. Hani Al-Aqad

Dr. Hani Al-Aqad

The decision by the U.S. State Department to revoke visas for several Palestinian officials, including President Mahmoud Abbas, was shocking, as it prevents them from attending the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly to explain their people's suffering to the free world. This annual meeting is an international legal demonstration against countries and groups that violate the rights of others and insist on killing people, destroying their civil structures, and barbarically violating all their human rights. It is a diplomatic demonstration that embodies the most important principles, regulations, and provisions of international law and the United Nations.

In a first-of-its-kind move on the historical stage of the United Nations, Secretary of State (Mark Rubio) decided not to grant President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian diplomats visas to enter the United States to attend the annual UN meeting and deliver a speech on behalf of the Palestinian people, voicing their concerns to the world from the highest international platform, which is the United Nations. This is the dome under which all countries of the world gather to call out in unison for justice, freedom, and equality for peoples, protecting their basic rights from violation, and safeguarding the lives of humanity regardless of their religions, languages, and nationalities. It is the platform where world leaders stand to call for the end of conflicts, cessation of wars, and protection of humanity, advocating for a just and comprehensive peace that is a divine right for all humans. The three heavenly religions have guaranteed them life and peace and prohibited the violation of their souls and properties. It is the legitimate platform for demanding rights, freedom, and justice for all oppressed peoples of the earth, foremost among them the Palestinian people, who are still, in the twenty-first century, witnessing the extermination of their children, the colonization of their lands, the destruction of their cities, the bombardment of their children's schools with heavy missiles, the filling of wells from which their children drink, the burning of their crops, and the theft of their livestock before the world by an Israeli occupation that does not respect or care for the laws and treaties of the United Nations, international humanitarian law, or the Geneva Conventions, and does not even respect the principles and teachings of all religions.

In the most heinous American action that violates the UN Charter, all laws, agreements, and treaties, and breaches the commitments of the United Nations General Assembly, the U.S. State Department took a scandalous action of fake diplomacy, exposing the claims of protecting and defending humanity by preventing representatives of the Palestinian people from entering the United States to voice their concerns and the voice of the Palestinian people to the world, under the pretext that this voice disturbs them and worries their diplomacy, affecting the relationship between America and its ally Israel, due to the Palestinians' diplomatic struggle for international and European recognition of their legitimate state and their right to self-determination, which the United Nations itself has recognized in several resolutions. Resolution 3234 of 1974 affirms the inalienable right to self-determination, independence, and national sovereignty of the Palestinian people, as well as several subsequent resolutions such as Resolution 67/19 of 2012, which granted Palestine observer state status at the UN, and Resolution 2017, which affirmed the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, and Resolution 174 of 2024, which recognized that Palestine is eligible for full UN membership.

Secretary of State (Rubio) justified his decision by stating that under U.S. law, the minister has the right to revoke the visa of any member of an organization, authority, or state, and considered that the (PLO) no longer fulfills its obligations and continuously works to undermine peace. He accused the Palestinian leadership of not renouncing terrorism and continuing to incite violence, and of launching international legal campaigns against Israel through the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.

In a separate statement on the American platform X, (Tommy Bigot), Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, wrote: "Before we take them seriously as partners in peace, the Palestinian Authority and (PLO) must unequivocally reject terrorism and stop the unproductive pursuit of unilateral recognition of a fictional state." This illustrates the extent of American arrogance and blatant bias towards the occupying state without shame or embarrassment from a world that knows that President Abu Mazen has condemned terrorism in all its forms from the United Nations platform throughout many years, including organized Israeli terrorism targeting Palestinians, their land, their children, their history, and their holy places, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Moreover, Mr. Riyad Mansour, the representative of the State of Palestine at the United Nations, has consistently affirmed on every occasion and in every meeting the condemnation of the State of Palestine and its unequivocal rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including cases where states are involved, whether directly or indirectly. What happened in the White House.. Is Blair being appointed as the sector governor?

Dr. Sinan Shuqayh: A mating situation between Trump's "Gaza Riviera" vision and Kushner's real estate perspective "Investing in Gaza's Beaches" and the Blair Institute project

Major General Muhammad Al-Samadi: Washington and Tel Aviv are trying to formulate options for an international or American administration for Gaza to fill the security vacuum

Dr. Ahmed Younis: The Trump administration seeks to reshape the scene in the sector after the war through a vision that places it under international-American supervision

Dr. Thaer Abu Ras: Kushner and Blair's positions are completely contradictory regarding the Gaza file, and bringing them together indicates that the Trump administration is still confused

Dr. Hani Al-Jamal: The goal is to reach the "next day" in Gaza without "Hamas" or the authority, especially since we are facing a newly reshaped Middle East

At a time when the occupation government is escalating its genocide against innocent civilians and has begun implementing its plans to attack Gaza's civilian population with the aim of occupying it, a meeting was revealed that brought together U.S. President Donald Trump with his son-in-law Jared Kushner and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair last Wednesday to discuss the future of the Gaza Strip. Despite the White House not publishing any details about what transpired in the meeting, the names of the participants raise suspicions about the meeting's objectives, which came at the height of Israeli military escalation and coincided with the presence of Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar in Washington for meetings with senior leaders of the Trump administration.

According to analysts and writers who spoke to "Y," this meeting opens the door to a series of questions about the relationship of these closed consultations to the field, and whether we are facing a roadmap being drawn in Washington and London for what is known as the "next day for Gaza"?

They pointed out that the scenarios discussed are closer to a mating situation between Trump's vision of a "Gaza Riviera" and Kushner's real estate perspective of "Investing in Gaza's Beaches" and the Tony Blair Institute project,

warning that the exclusion of both the Palestinian and Arab sides from the meeting clearly indicates that the Palestinian and Arab visions for the "next day" are not on the negotiation table.

Joint American-Israeli control with Blair as the governor of Gaza

Dr. Sinan Shuqayh, a member of the American Palestinian organizations network, stated: "There is no need to wait for leaks or the meeting minutes to know what transpired in the meeting held at the White House last Wednesday regarding the plan for the next day after the guns fall silent in Gaza."

He added that the states of "absence and presence" and the positions and plans announced before the meeting reveal the ideas that were presented during it without the need for in-depth analysis.

Dr. Shuqayh confirmed that "the exclusion of the Palestinian side and the Arab side behind it clearly means that the Palestinian and Arab visions for the 'next day' are not on the conference table." He continued: "As for the attendees, they are: U.S. President Trump, his envoy to the Middle East, Yitzhak, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, this attendance reveals the scenarios that were discussed, which are closer to a mating situation between Trump's vision of a 'Gaza Riviera' and Kushner's real estate perspective of 'Investing in Gaza's Beaches' and the Tony Blair Institute project, all of which are published in the media.

Dr. Shuqayh sees that the mating of the three proposals at the conference indicates that the discussions of the 'next day' and the pre-existing positions of the participants combine American and Israeli visions along with some proposals from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change aimed at ending the war before the end of 2025 through a permanent ceasefire leading to a settlement with American guarantees, followed by a list of a joint American-Israeli administration replacing Hamas's administration.

He believes that the announced pre-existing positions of the attendees propose increasing the distribution sites for aid from 3 to 16 sites through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation with partial American funding of $30 million, matched by Israel allocating $473 million for humanitarian aid.

WP: Trump's plan for Gaza revolves around displacement and a ten-year American mandate.

The American newspaper "Washington Post" reported that the post-war Gaza plan envisions the voluntary displacement of all Gaza residents, and that President Donald Trump's administration is discussing with what they call international partners complete control over Gaza and rebuilding it as the "Riviera of the Middle East," while providing funds for Palestinians to leave.

The report, prepared by Karen DeYoung and Kate Brown, states that a post-war plan is circulating within the Trump administration regarding Gaza, inspired by President Donald Trump's pledge to "seize" the territory and place it under American guardianship for at least ten years, until it is transformed into a tourist resort and a center for advanced manufacturing and technology.

The report, consisting of 38 pages, which the "Washington Post" has reviewed, includes a temporary relocation for all Gaza residents, who number over two million, either through what it calls "voluntary migration" to another country or to restricted and safe areas within the territory during the reconstruction.

Hebrew media: The Foreign Minister informed his American counterpart of the readiness to announce the annexation of the West Bank soon.

The newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that the Israeli Foreign Minister Gidon Sa'ar informed his American counterpart Marco Rubio that Tel Aviv is ready to announce the annexation of the West Bank soon.

Hebrew sources revealed that Netanyahu is considering options that include imposing sovereignty over the entire West Bank, or partially annexing specific settlements, or imposing sanctions on the Palestinian Authority.

While the occupation government is looking for steps in the West Bank, it continues to advance its military plans in the Gaza Strip despite increasing calls to adopt a path that ends the ongoing aggression of the occupation against Gaza.
