Canada is investing CAD 970 million to build its first small scale modular reactor

OTTAWA (Xinhua) -- The Canadian federal government's Policy Bank said Tuesday that it has allocated 970 million Canadian dollars (776 million U.S. dollars) to build the country's first small-scale modular reactor.

The Infrastructure Bank of Canada said it had closed an agreement with Ontario Generating Corporation to develop and build a 300-megawatt small modular reactor next to the Darlington Nuclear Power Plant located in Clarington, Ontario.

The bank stated that the first phase funded by it will cover all preparations required before nuclear construction, including project design, site preparation, utility connections, etc., adding that this is its largest investment in clean energy so far.

The bank said the project will also support Canada's efforts to become a global hub for small modular reactor technology in a market valued at about 150 billion Canadian dollars (120 billion U.S. dollars) annually by 2040.

Once fully constructed by the end of this decade, the reactor will avoid approximately 740,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually, which is equivalent to the emissions of nearly 160,000 fuel-powered cars.

Small modular reactors are a new class of nuclear reactors with a capacity of about 300 megawatts or less, and have a smaller footprint and shorter construction timeline, compared to conventional nuclear reactors.

Energy experts said there is no path to zero carbon emissions in the world by 2050 without nuclear power.

The failure of the Kosovo-Serbia negotiations, mediated by Europe

Brussels - (AFP) - "Crisis management" talks between Kosovo and Serbia , mediated by the European Union, failed Thursday to calm the escalating tension between the two Balkan neighbors, but new talks are expected at a later time, EU Foreign Minister Josep announced. Burrell.

"Unfortunately, we did not reach an agreement today (...) but that does not mean the end of the story," Borrell said at the end of the talks hosted by Brussels.

"The talks will resume in the coming days (...) I am not giving up," he added.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic took part in talks chaired by Borrell aimed at defusing the hostility that has led to violence in northern Kosovo in recent weeks.

Petr Petkovic, an aide to Vucic, told reporters in Brussels that the Serbian president will return Friday to Belgrade to deliver "what will be one of his most important speeches" on the relationship with Kosovo.

And the Serbian official media pointed out that Vucic will hold Sunday "an emergency meeting" in Belgrade with the leaders of the Serb minority in Kosovo.

Petkovic did not specify what position Vucic would take, but noted that the Serbian president will spend Thursday evening in Brussels "in the hope of reaching a settlement."

Borrell did not explain the obstacles to the talks, but stressed that the talks "were not a normal meeting," expressing concern about "the escalation of tension in northern Kosovo."

"It was a crisis management meeting. The meeting aimed to calm the situation on the ground," he said.

Issues arousing tension between Serbia and Kosovo include the imposition of license plates by Pristina for vehicles also owned by members of the Serb minority in the north, as well as the requirement to present documents upon entry or exit at the border between the two countries.

Borrell warned that "the international community does not want to see renewed tensions in the coming period, and the parties will be fully responsible for any escalation on the ground."

Belgrade never recognized the independence declared by Kosovo in 2008, after a decade of bloody war that left 13,000 people dead, most of them Kosovo Albanians. Since then, the region has been witnessing unrest from time to time. The Kosovo Serbs, numbering about 120 thousand, a third of whom live in the north, do not recognize the authority of Pristina and remain loyal to Belgrade.

And new violence erupted at the end of July in northern Kosovo, prompting NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg to say on Wednesday that the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo (the International Security Force in Kosovo) is "ready to intervene if stability is threatened," With the aim of securing "freedom of movement for all residents" in the former Serbian province.

He made his statement after separate meetings with Vucic and Corti at NATO headquarters in Brussels.

Vucic and Corte also met US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar in Brussels on Wednesday night. Escobar, who works on US policy in the Western Balkans, had traveled to Brussels to attend the previous round of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo.

The rise in homicides is a social catastrophe that must be fully addressed

Jerusalem Hadith
We are a society that suffers from many different political and social pressures. Perhaps the biggest witness to it is what was announced by the police spokesman, Colonel Louay Irzeqat, that 53 citizens have been victims of murder in the West Bank since the beginning of this year, that is, within about ten months, which means that one or more victims fall every week.

And murders do not mean the victims only, but they strongly affect the entire society, as the dead person has family, relatives, clan and friends, and thus the circle expands to include all of these against the killer with all his family, relatives and friends as well, which means that there is a wide and painful rift in society in general, its direct and indirect repercussions and effects extend far and wide. Widespread and painful for many and eventually the whole society.

We know that many murders are reconciled and gifts are taken, then reconciliations and closing the file, but these measures, despite their positiveness in containing the impasse, remain much less than what is required.

What is required relates to clerics, tribal sheikhs, directors of schools, education and others who are considered influential and effective in society. Efforts should be focused on awareness, education, and the cultivation of a spirit of brotherhood and tolerance, not the logic of the clan, the stronger party, the one with influence, the one in control, and all similar influences that largely control the mentality of generations, so that each individual or each clan is considered to be the strongest, or to be the son of the strongest clan.

Concepts of religion filled with tolerance, cooperation, love and brotherhood must play a major role in raising awareness. This is one of the first responsibilities of clerics in their sermons, lectures and closed meetings, and in the extremely important educational and school role.

Murder crimes are increasing, and if 53 people have been killed so far this year, then in the past year 34 people were killed, meaning that there is a large difference in the number of victims between last year and the current year, which has not yet ended. We hoped this wouldn't happen.

Education is the basis of treatment, and clerics, tribal sheikhs, school directors, and community institutions are all required to work and coordinate with each other to address the increasing crime phenomenon in our society. We mainly suffer from the crimes of the occupation, its arrogance, and its disregard for our rights. him, but he certainly won't.

The introduction and the end comes to the national authority with all its educational and other institutions to stand strong and with all capabilities to confront this phenomenon that shakes society from its roots, especially as we are facing the occupation with all its arrogance and expansionist ambitions.

We are an educated and cultured people, and this situation must be integrated so that it is devoid of societal imbalance, killings and violence.

Azerbaijan refuses to move forward with peace talks with Armenia if Macron is present

Baku - (AFP) - Azerbaijan announced on Friday that it had canceled a session of peace talks with Armenia that was scheduled to take place in Brussels because Yerevan insists on the participation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been poisoned for more than 30 years due to regional conflicts that led to two wars and heavy humanitarian losses, with tens of thousands of lives. Baku accuses Paris of being biased towards Armenia.

Peace talks began several months ago between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who were supposed to meet on December 7 in Brussels.

On Friday, Aliyev said during an international conference in Baku that Pashinyan "agreed to this meeting, provided that French President Macron is present."

Moscow, which considers the Caucasus as its sphere of influence, does not view with satisfaction the European mediation between Baku and Yerevan, and suspects that the West intends to compete with it in this region while it is preoccupied with invading Ukraine.

When asked Friday by journalists about Aliyev's cancellation of the scheduled meeting in Brussels, the Kremlin confirmed Russia's readiness to host the talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Armenia, an ally of Russia and Azerbaijan, backed by Turkey, has fought two wars over the past three decades to control Nagorno-Karabakh.

The war in 2020 killed more than 6,500 soldiers and ended with a ceasefire sponsored by Russia. Armenia ceded territories it had controlled for decades, and Moscow deployed about 2,000 Russian soldiers to monitor this fragile truce.

And in September, at least 286 people were killed in clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in the worst confrontations between the two neighboring countries located in the Caucasus since the 2020 war.

The Peace Alliance organizes a youth meeting that discusses the challenges of the Palestinian national project

Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Palestinian Peace Alliance held in Ramallah a youth meeting on the challenges facing the Palestinian national project in the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem, as well as on the regional and international arenas.

Dozens of university students from different regions and a number of activists and young leaders participated in the conference.

The conference, which was moderated by the journalist Rami Mahdawi, was addressed by: President of the Palestinian Prisoners Club, Qaddoura Fares, Mrs. Hind Khoury, a former minister and ambassador, in addition to the Director General of the Palestinian Peace Coalition, Mr. Nidal Fuqaha.

In his intervention, Qaddoura Fares stressed that the most important challenge facing the Palestinian national project at the present time is to end the division and complete internal reconciliation, which affects our present and future, stressing the importance of national unity as a main requirement in confronting the occupation policies that target the Palestinian land.

He added, "The Palestinian issue is the difficult figure in the equation of the region and the region, and any transgression of the Palestinian cause is absurd, but the Palestinian movement and the state of division made overcoming this issue easy, as happened recently at the Negev summit."

He continued, "What happened recently at the Jeddah summit in Saudi Arabia, in terms of the absence of the Palestinians, was caused by the Palestinian internal situation, and indicated that the Palestinians need elections that break the current state of impasse, and open the door wide for youth and their participation in public life."

In his intervention on the status of the Palestinian cause regionally and internationally, the Director General of the Palestinian Peace Coalition, Nidal Fuqaha, said, "The decline witnessed by the Palestinian cause on the regional and international arenas is mainly due to the weakness and absence of institutions resulting primarily from the state of division and internal fragmentation."

He pointed out that the Palestinian issue witnessed a clear decline in international priorities during the last decade, but the most serious setback was the dissolution of some Arab countries from the condition of withdrawal from all occupied Arab lands in 1967 before normalizing relations with Israel as stipulated in the Arab Peace Initiative, as happened with the agreements Normalization signed by four Arab countries. These agreements opened the door wide for Israel to strengthen its relations in the region and change the map of alliances.

He added, "The Palestinians paid a heavy price for their position on these agreements, politically and financially. At the same time, the Israeli presence in the Arab region increased, and the pace of security cooperation in the region with Israel accelerated in the face of the Iranian threat."

Jurists said that the Palestinian cause is no longer a priority internationally, with all these developments and the ongoing war in Ukraine. "For the American administration, reaching a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is no longer a goal, and this explains the low level of intervention in mediating between the two sides. In the past, this matter attracted the attention and intervention of the president or the foreign minister, as was the case during previous administrations, but today The file is entrusted to an employee of the US State Department. He explained that Israel took advantage of what was happening in the international arena to change the facts on the ground, by building more settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Hind Khoury said that Jerusalem is the central issue of the Palestinian people, so the Israeli government is working to Judaize Jerusalem and abuse Jerusalemites.

Khoury explained, "Israel is working to impose the Israeli curriculum in schools in Jerusalem, with the aim of distorting the Palestinian identity, and has turned the political conflict into a religious conflict."

She added, "The recent developments in the region confirmed that we need to pay attention to these changes. There is a third world war and a new world order. We, as Palestinians, must resolve internal disputes and end the continuous division since 2016. The Palestinian people are an educated and cultured people, so there is solidarity among peoples with the cause." Palestinian.

Video || The New York Times documents testimonies of a field execution carried out by the occupation during the Nablus massacre

Translation by "Al-Quds" dot com - The New York Times, the American international newspaper, documented testimonies confirming the use of lethal force by the Israeli occupation forces against unarmed Palestinian citizens, during its military operation in Nablus on the twenty-second of last February, which claimed the lives of 11 martyrs and more than 100. infection.

According to the newspaper in its report - as mentioned in the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz issued on Thursday - the 4 of the martyrs, at least, were not in a position of threat to the Israeli forces, and despite that, they were subjected to direct fire.

According to the American newspaper, it obtained video clips from several areas in Nablus, in addition to others from social networks published at the time of the Israeli military operation, where soldiers were seen entering on foot into a crowded market and taking up positions for themselves in rooftop houses. 3 activists from the Lions' Den, who were the target of the operation, were in a nearby house, and when they refused to surrender, an exchange of fire began that lasted for several hours.

It all started shortly before 10 am - says Sahar Zalloum (63 years old), who noticed a person who arrived at the market area in the old town of Nablus, and noticed him looking for something, and asked him if he needed something, especially since his features were strange from the area-, but he pulled immediately pulled a gun and told her to go home.

style="height: 1536px;">

At around 10:15 am, many forces stormed the city of Nablus, and the angry residents began to gather, and at a crossroads, about 400 meters away from the house where the wanted persons were, a group of Palestinians threw stones and what they found in front of them, then suddenly one of the military vehicles deviated and advanced Towards the gathering of citizens, and in this regard, Amid al-Masri, a well-known local activist, says: "They did this without thinking of a scenario in which citizens could be harmed."

A video clip taken from a nearby area, recording what was happening, shows that none of the Palestinians were armed among those gathered, but the Israeli army spokesman justified this by the fact that the driver apparently lost control of the military vehicle due to throwing stones.

In one of the video clips, the gunman appears (according to the American newspaper), Musab Owais, who was pointing his weapon at a military vehicle, before he was shot and fell to the ground. Several people rushed to help him, and one of them took his weapon, and when they tried to take him for treatment, they were fired again.

At the same time, at a distance of approximately 800 metres, Israeli army vehicles fanned out along the southern border of the Old City, one of which crashed into a civilian car, driving it into a nearby wall, and at the intersection just below the street, another military vehicle passed garbage containers that had been positioned to serve as obstacle, and almost hits a man standing nearby, before crashing into a building.

After 20 minutes, Muhammad Anbousi (24 years old) approached the same intersection, and when he was hiding behind a car, he fired fireworks at a parked military vehicle, and in a video recording what was happening, a soldier was seen who was in an armored vehicle about 80 meters away from Anbousi And he shot him, and when Muhammad was crying for help to save him, Jasser Qaneer arrived to help him, and after a minute while he was carrying a grapevine and trying to get away from it to a safe place, the two were shot in the back, and while they were lying on the ground motionless, the military vehicle was seen moving away from the scene of the accident According to residents who removed the two bodies, Quneir was shot in the head, and Anbousi apparently was shot in the chest.

The Israeli army spokesman claims that the incident is being investigated.

While Omar Shaker, the regional director of Human Rights Watch, said: "It is difficult to see through the footage how Muhammad Anbousi and Jasser Qaneer posed any threat, less a threat to life that justifies lethal force according to international law, at the moment when Israeli forces shot and killed them.. This Another example of the Israeli forces using excessive force.

At approximately 12:30, the Israeli forces began withdrawing from Nablus, and videos from the city show that even as the Israeli army withdrew from it, two passers-by were shot dead.

The shooting took place in an area where many citizens gathered between a clinic and a mosque. A man, whose identity the New York Times could not verify, fired at a military vehicle as it passed on a nearby road. In response, the soldiers, who were riding in two armored vehicles, opened fire. The crowd randomly attacked the crowd in front of the mosque, and Abd al-Hadi al-Ashkar (62 years) was leaving the mosque, and Muhammad Shaaban (16 years) were killed in the incident. "The soldiers responded with live fire," the Israeli army spokesman said.

“If you look at this objectively, it is clear that Israeli forces broke human rights law by shooting indiscriminately at bystanders, killing people who did not pose a threat,” said Sarah Harrison, a former Pentagon attorney who is now with the International Crisis Group. By law, US officials must evaluate the footage and ensure that Israeli military units are eligible for US security support.

In response to the investigation, the Israeli army spokesman said, "This is an operational incident in which armed men opened heavy fire at the soldiers, who returned fire. During the violent riots, stones, Molotov cocktails and explosives were thrown at the soldiers."

In one of the videos, a 72-year-old man is seen lying on the ground, showing signs of violence on his hands, neck, and body. "This is a sign of the recklessness with which they carried out this raid, and no one thought about collateral damage," said al-Masry, a local activist.

Israeli figures about the aggression on the Gaza Strip

Translation by "Al-Quds" dot-com - The Hebrew website Ynet published, on Monday morning, figures about the Israeli military operation against the Gaza Strip , which began last Friday afternoon with the assassination of Tayseer Al-Ja'bari, a prominent leader in the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement.

According to the site, the operation lasted 55 hours, the first since Operation "Guardian of the Walls/Saif al-Quds" last May.

According to the site, 1,100 rockets were launched, of which more than 200 fell inside the Gaza Strip, while the Iron Dome intercepted 380 rockets, according to the interception policy, by addressing missiles directed at populated areas, with a rate of 96%, and that it did not result in the killing of Israelis or investigations. No casualties, which is the same thing that happened in the "Black Belt" operation against the Islamic Jihad as well, which began with the assassination of Bahaa Abu al-Ata, and Hamas remained, as in this operation, sidelined.

The site indicated that 47 Israelis were taken to hospitals, 3 of whom were injured by shrapnel, 31 were injured when they fell to the ground while trying to reach the protected areas, and 13 were injured by panic.

According to the data, the Israeli army attacked about 170 Islamic Jihad targets, including one attack tunnel, military sites, missile launch pits, weapons and missile depots, and others for their production, but the greatest achievement is the assassination of al-Jabari and Khaled Mansour.

He pointed out that in the "Black Belt" operation, Islamic Jihad launched 450 missiles in an operation that lasted 49 hours.

The Israeli "breakwater" and the Palestinian "tsunami"!!

Written by: Dr. Asaad Abdul Rahman

A qualitative development is taking place in the resistance in the occupied West Bank, where we notice a significant increase in the actions of the Palestinian resistance in all its forms. One of the most prominent features of the current resistance operations in the West Bank is the merging of the fighters of the Palestinian movements and factions into unified armed groups that began with the "Jenin Battalion" in the Jenin camp, the "Lions' Den" group in Nablus, the "Hawks' Den" in Tulkarem, and the "Usud al-Haq" group. in Hebron.

These groups constituted a new development in the political scene in the West Bank, forcing the Israeli occupation forces to intensify their military activities, reintroducing the policy of assassinating activists, while continuing the policy of collective punishment, in an attempt to eliminate the escalation of resistance activity there, which the occupation was forced to admit in many recent reports. By the fire of the Palestinian resistance, through these armed groups. According to security sources for the Hebrew "Wala" website, "the state of the Palestinian popular embrace of these groups is a source of great concern for the occupation." And in this lies the basis of success.

In light of the Israeli “breakwater” operations, the occupation forces suffered the failure of what they called a “lightning and geographically limited campaign to eliminate these Palestinian groups” and thus increased the brutality of their actions, especially in light of the success of the commando operations and the elements that carried them out in embarrassing the occupation army, as was evident in Operation "Settlement" / "Ma'aleh Adumim" settlement east of Jerusalem, in which Uday Al-Tamimi ascended, while the occupation was besieging the Shuafat refugee camp and searching for him there. Hebrew media considered the execution of the martyr Uday al-Tamimi a new operation, "at a time when the entire Israeli security system was looking for him as a catastrophic failure for the Israeli intelligence service "Shabak" and all Israeli security services, and "requires sharp and quick conclusions." "Israel Today" newspaper said. For 11 days, intensive searches were conducted for Tamimi, his relatives were arrested and interrogated, and people suspected of helping him were arrested and interrogated, but he nevertheless somehow managed to escape from the hands of the experienced Shin Bet coordinators and arrived in the Ma’ale Adumim settlement area armed, which constitutes a failure for the security apparatus. General Security and other security agencies that participated in the search for him.
An Israeli report issued by the "Institute for National Security Research" at Tel Aviv University finds that "the pattern of current Israeli practices against the escalation of Palestinian operations in the West Bank constitutes a fertile ground for the growth of the spirit of Palestinian resistance" and may even lead to an explosion of widespread violence, which constitutes the real strategic challenge facing Israel. . Despite the large number of detainees and the large increase in the number of (dead) and wounded Palestinians, the spirit of Palestinian resistance has been strengthened and spread in the West Bank.” An expanding awareness of struggle, nourished by the high level of violent friction with the Israeli army, and by a sense of success, especially by the authoritarian vacuum of the Palestinian Authority.
These Palestinian groups are new trees growing in the shadows of the expanding forest of armed resistance, and their youth is a mellow chapter in the spirit of the Palestinian resistance, which is taking shape in the spirit of youth who threw away the differences and divisions of their factions and movements, and instead took up arms, which unites and does not divide. However, the matter should not be limited to commando action alone, and it is required that this military resistance succeed in efforts to expand and ensure the popular incubator, and transfer this revolutionary situation to the level of mass uprising and comprehensive civil disobedience. And if this is achieved, it will be like the Palestinian "tsunami" that - alone - will break the Israeli "breakwater", which constitutes a qualitative step on the road to ending the occupation.

Gantz: Security coordination is important, and I do not rule out meeting Abu Mazen

Translation by "Jerusalem" dot com - Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that security coordination between his forces and the Palestinian Authority is important for the security of Israelis, and that he does not rule out holding a new meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas if necessary.

During an interview with the Hebrew website Ynet, Gantz renewed his condemnation of President Abbas's statements about the "Holocaust" and described them as "outrageous, dangerous, misleading, and false," stressing that he had asked through his office to clarify his statements and apologize for them.

He denied that there was coordination between him and Lapid regarding asking Abu Mazen to retract his statements, and said, "The issue of the West Bank is a distinct political security issue, and my relationship with the Palestinians continues, and there is coordination between my office and Abu Mazen's office."

He said, "We live in the Middle East, I have to send soldiers into battle and do my best to prevent any battle, to maintain security stability, to be careful for it.. I'm not doing this with Teresa, I'm doing it with anyone on the ground, That is the nature of things."

He added, "We are here, and the Palestinians are also here. We need to maintain relations with them.. I had meetings with Abu Mazen, and this is not out of personal friendship."

In response to a question about whether he would meet with Abu Mazen again, especially in Rosh Haayin, Gantz said: "There are no plans in this regard in the near future, and there is no need for him to come to Rosh Haayin every time, and as much as is necessary, I can meet with him to ensure the interest of the people." Israel, and I will do what is appropriate for that .. I am here not responsible for a tweet, I am responsible for a reality and I need to achieve stability and for that we need to continue on a kind of horizon to continue dialogue of one kind or another with the Palestinians, and in the end this is in the interest of both sides."

He stressed that he finds it difficult to reach a permanent and long-term agreement with the Palestinians, and said: "I think we need to continue working to reduce the conflict, and perhaps we can reach a permanent settlement in the future."

In response to a question about his partner Gadi Eisenkot's theory of separation from the Palestinians and whether that means evacuating the settlements, Gantz said: "No, the goal is to maintain the strategic dialogue... I ask: What is the alternative? A more extreme reorganization than Abu Mazen, and more." Extremism from Hamas..Is Islamic Jihad better than Abu Mazen? He is the leader of the Palestinians, not Hamas or Jihad. The other danger is the idea of one state and being a Jewish minority. Is this what we want? We must strive to move forward.

In response to a question, is the solution "two states for two peoples?", Gantz said: "No.. this is just an illusion. The only way is to reduce conflict, maintain security, develop the economy, strengthen the State of Israel, and work to strengthen the Palestinian Authority."

Regarding what is happening in Joseph's tomb, the Israeli army minister said: "According to the arrangements and agreements, we are entering Joseph's tomb. There was shooting at the cars of the convoy that entered and left. The Israeli army forces moved, and unfortunately it also ended with Palestinian deaths."

Will the Arab conscience wake up at the Arab summit in Algeria...?

Written by: Dr. Hani Akkad

While the Zionist occupation denies any political rights for the Palestinians, the most important of which are the rights of self-determination, the occupation escalates its frenzied attack in order to quell the Palestinian revolution against the occupation and its Judaization schemes, storming cities, demolishing homes, destroying streets, killing, arresting, unleashing settler gangs to sabotage the fields and steal the olive crop, reveling And they attack the Palestinian citizens who are adjacent to their settlements. The Palestinians' night almost rebels against its darkness due to the harshness of the scene. Street warfare, bullets... blood and martyrs. On the other hand, their discussion continues with Arab politicians in some Arab capitals to achieve better normalization and an alleged Arab-Israeli peace. In front of all this, the world remains silent as it watches the crimes that are committed daily in Palestine. The United Nations did not move a finger and sometimes hides behind timid demands to investigate this crime or incident without daring to issue UN resolutions for an independent international investigation into any of the field execution crimes, which has become the heartbreaking news for all Families in Palestine. Hardly a day passes without a martyr here or a martyr there rising up in Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah or Hebron. All Palestinian cities are now under the Zionist fire.

An Arab silence hides behind some policies that do not fatten or satisfy hunger towards the Palestinian cause. From time to time, some condemnations and warnings come out of undermining the two-state solution. Here, the League of Arab States is not absent from the scene. Al-Aqsa Mosque and the blowing of the trumpet at its gates, as happened recently in what is called the three holidays of the Hebrew entity, the Jewish New Year, the Day of Forgiveness and the Sukkot Day. Almost any statement of the League of Arab States is devoid of a demand for the Zionist occupation to stop its escalatory measures against the Palestinians in the West Bank, and to stop targeting and desecrating Arab and Islamic sanctities in Arab Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, some parts of which extremist settlers turned into a discotheque for holding concerts without any measures or projects at least that threaten The interests of the occupying state with some Arab countries, or stop the decline in the outrageous normalization agreements.

The continuation of the course of shame and disgrace for the normalization of Arab countries with the occupation in light of the current occupation scene. They normalized and did not preserve the dignity of their people, but rather opened the gates of their peoples so that the Mossad would implement the dirtiest plans and introduce a dirty thought of normalization of the Arab society in the name of the cross-pollination of cultures and the overlapping of civilizations, and some leaders became racing others to satisfy the leaders of the sons of Zion He asked to visit them and show loyalty and obedience to the Arab and moral downfall under the feet of their rabbis. Some of the Arab countries did not only open their markets to Zionist goods, but they also owned the Zionist security and military establishment hundreds of hectares of strategic land to establish joint military bases under the pretext of developing the Arab defense force in the face of challenges. Hundreds of tons of weapons and Zionist military technology, and they installed it at the gates of their thrones, which will only be protected by pride, dignity, and the people of the country and those who are jealous of its reputation and dignity.

Who wonders where the Arab conscience is in all of this...? We tell him that the Arab conscience is in a long coma, no one can predict when he will wake up and return to feel the suffering of the Arab peoples and defend their causes, the first of which is the Palestinian cause, which would not have reached this stage except with some Arabs abandoning it and defending the rights of the Palestinian people truly and not with words, phrases or denunciations Not statements, but real measures that force the occupier to leave and sit at the negotiating table submissively, giving the Palestinians their rights without diminishing. Who wonders about the Arab conscience..? I say to him he is gone and he is no longer in a temporary coma. He may wake up before it is too late and the Arab nation will be lost and fragmented and its lands will be occupied under the name of the new Abrahamic peace. It is a peaceful occupation that is more dangerous than the classic military occupation. As you have the right, gentlemen, to ask about the Arab conscience today, I have the right to inquire from Everyone, will the Arab conscience wake up at the Arab summit in Algeria today..? Yes, the Arab Summit comes at a very sensitive time in which the Arab nation is going through divisions and differences towards true partnership and the absence of a single Arab goal, allowing the Zionist-American to draw the region's policies, growth and prosperity, while it is a real tampering with the region's security, plundering its wealth and seizing its oil, not only that, but turning it into a nation unable to feed itself from the wealth of its land.

Algeria still has a living Arab conscience. Its leaders did not sell themselves to the illusion that is called (Israel) because they are revolutionaries who built their state with gunpowder and blood, and they still preserve it with their teeth despite the enemy’s arrival at its borders and the threat to its security and stability to subject it to normalization agreements similar to what is happening in the vicinity of its borders. Algeria works day and night And on more than one axis so that the next Arab summit succeeds, the first of which is ending the Palestinian division, which worried everyone and was a reason for the occupying state to reformulate its colonial projects in Palestine and the Arab region, and based on this axis that Algeria has been working on for a while, it hopes to embody Arab unity on Arab issues and close The doors are open to interlopers from the West to use them for the benefit of their colonial projects in the region. If the Arab conscience is restored at the Arab summit in Algeria, their prestige will return and they will unite and they will be able to solve their crises in Yemen and the Gulf, which threatens its Arab identity, Libya and Lebanon, which is turning into a second Somalia, Syria, which has been exhausted by wars, and Iraq, which has become twenty Iraqs. I hope that Algeria will succeed in the current Arab summit by unifying the ranks of the Arabs, ending their tensions, unifying their goals, their word, and their fateful orientations, because there are major issues that reached the Arabs as much as the sword from the sweat of the neck and affected the future of stability, future Arab-Arab relations, common security, and partnership in protecting the land and identity.

Officially.. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his wife, model Jerry Hall, have divorced

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - The 91-year-old media mogul Rupert Murdoch has officially divorced his fourth wife, American model Jerry Hall, after six years together, Hall's lawyer told AFP Thursday.

Lawyer Judy Bowler confirmed that Murdoch and Hall "remain good friends and wish each other the best for the future."
Murdoch, whose fortune is estimated by Forbes magazine at $17 billion, and Hall, were married in March 2016 in London.

The New York Times, which revealed the news of the divorce last June, citing two well-informed sources whose identities were not disclosed, stated that this step had no consequences for his international media empire, News Corp, given that Murdoch and Hall signed a prenuptial contract.

Murdoch, through his News Corp group, owns hundreds of media outlets, especially in the United States, where his companies control the conservative “Fox News” station, the “Wall Street Journal” economic newspaper, and the “New York Post” newspaper affiliated with the American right. He is also the owner of the newspapers "The Sun" and "The Times" of London and a number of newspapers in Australia.

Keith Rupert Murdoch's first marriage to Australian air hostess Patricia Booker lasted from 1956 to 1967, then he remained married for more than 30 years, until 1999, to British journalist Anna Mann, who, according to the press at the time, earned more than a billion dollars after their divorce.

Then, a few days later, the billionaire married a Chinese businesswoman, Wendy Deng, who graduated from Yale University, and stayed with her until their divorce in New York in 2013.

Murdoch has six children from his marriages, and his fourth wife, Jerry Hall, who is also an actress, is the mother of four children she gave birth to from the leader of the "Rolling Stones" Mick Jagger.

Nunez apologizes to Liverpool fans for the incident

Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, Liverpool striker, apologized to the Reds fans for his expulsion during the Crystal Palace match, in the second round of the English Premier League.

Nunez published, on his account on the “Instagram” network, a picture of his exit from the match, after obtaining a red card, and wrote on it: “I apologize to all of Liverpool … I will be back later.”

Nunez assaulted Andersen, the Crystal Palace defender, without a ball, prompting the match referee to show the red card directly in his face.

This was Nunez's first match at Anfield, in a Liverpool shirt, after his move to the Reds this summer, from Benfica.

Nunez is the second player in Liverpool's history to be dismissed from his first Premier League match at Anfield, after England's Joe Cole against Arsenal in 2010.

Israel and the Authority... and the Lions' Den

Written by: Nabil Amr

While I was contemplating the choice of the subject of my article, I listened to the first news broadcast on the Israeli radio, which was formulated and read in the manner that we have now come the following...
“A joint force from all the Israeli security services managed to arrest one of the prominent activists in the new Palestinian formation... the lions' den.”
Since the start of the violent events that took place initially in the Jenin camp and spread to Nablus and the north, and expanded to include the center and the south, the term “the lions’ den” was widely circulated, to the extent that it overshadowed, by what was said about it, the reunion dialogues that took place in Algeria; What made this new formation the most important talk at the level of public opinion, even if it was said as a joke that it referred the PLO factions to retirement.
One of the characteristics deduced from this new formation is that it is a primary organizational embodiment of what Israel used to call the unruly wolves, who were carrying out impressive military operations but on their own, as they are not an extension of an organized traditional formation, and they are not united by belonging to a specific faction, which put the Israeli security services with all their arms in a perplexed As there are no specific references to be contacted or talked with to address and contain the phenomenon. What added to the Israeli bewilderment, and the inability of its octopus apparatus to herald a decisive achievement in this regard, is that what were called runaway wolves have evolved into an organized formation founded on an idea. The security and political vacuum in the West Bank and Jerusalem constituted a favorable incubator that provided him with popularity unavailable to any traditional faction.
An incubator like this scares Israel; As it is an active catalyst for the development of formation and multiply its effectiveness, even through imitation and simulation.
The vacuum produced an intermittent state of war of varying intensity between the Palestinians and the Israelis. The Israeli invasions continue and produce a horrific abuse in the lives of the Palestinians. Major cities like Nablus are under siege, and a large camp like Shuafat is inside a tight cordon that makes entry and exit a torment from which no one escapes. And the place that is not besieged and whose entrances and exits are not closed throughout the West Bank; Day and night raids are capable of turning life there into a continuous hell.
Such a situation produces a reaction that makes the Israeli endeavor to eradicate it a kind of running after a mirage, and this is what many of Israel's generals, intellectuals, and public opinion makers have acknowledged, who do not stop reminding the political leadership that continuing to rule another people will not result in anything other than this.
The Israeli inability to end or contain the phenomenon is justified by an excuse worse than guilt. The government, which is subject to harsh criticism for failure and negligence, blames the Palestinian Authority, which does not carry out its “duty” in the context of security coordination, and does not stop saying that it is an authority that has lost control, even though the loss of authority is the simplest justification. Its existence is of the making of Israel itself, which left no way to humiliate the authority and make it lose its prestige in front of its citizens without doing it, and the last thing released in this matter was that the Israeli government sent a strongly worded letter of rebuke to the Palestinian Authority just for the visit of its Prime Minister, Muhammad Shtayyeh, to a funeral home in which there were “terrorists.” !
Israel does not deny its impotence, and the factions profess its neutrality in the current war. Some of them are satisfied with blessing the operations without adopting them. The Authority is caught between the two parts of the millstone, as it is not ready to develop its security performance in a way that satisfies Israel, and in return it multiplies the discontent of its people, nor is it immune from paying the material and moral prices resulting from the Israeli abuse of it and its people.
A situation like this, Israel recognizes what results from it, and what was called the runaway wolves yesterday has become today called the lions' den, and instead of Israel absorbing the decades-old lesson, which is the age of the Palestinian rejection of the occupation and all the approved formulas to perpetuate it, including naive bribes, it continues to pour oil On fire to increase its ignition or to condense its latent embers under the ashes.
The secret word in the Israeli impotence is revealed by a phrase whose adherents in Israel are increasing every day... How long will we continue to rule another people?!

Comey stressed the need to place the needs of people with disabilities on the priority list of civil organizations, governmental and private institutions, and to integrate them in all sectors through an integrated and comprehensive plan.

As for the third session of the symposium, the participating women presented a set of challenges they face in their work, represented by the problems of opening accounts for associations, institutions and cooperatives, the imposition of exorbitant fees and financial requirements for the establishment of cooperatives, as well as the absence of actual inclusion of persons with disabilities.

In arid regions, grazing is beneficial in colder climates and harmful in hotter locations

Paris (AFP) - In arid regions , grazing can be "beneficial in relatively cold climates locally rich in biodiversity" but "largely detrimental in hotter regions with poor biodiversity", according to a study conducted on five continents. calling for local solutions.

One of the most important aspects of this study, which was jointly conducted by the National Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research, the French Center for Scientific Research and the University of Alicante in Spain, is that it provides a global view of the impact of pet grazing in arid regions, where more than a billion people depend directly on raising livestock for their livelihood.

The findings of the study, published in the journal Science, could contribute to "the development of more sustainable grazing management" aimed at "mitigating the effects of climate change and desertification," as stated in a statement by the National Institute for Agricultural Research and the Environment.

This work provides a picture of the impact of grazing in arid regions (where there is little rain) in 26 countries.

"We selected about 100 sites divided into three or four plots, which led to the identification of 326 areas in total, where grazing pressure was different (from low to high)," Nicola Gross, one of the study participants from the National Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Research, told AFP. .

"We have developed standardized protocols to assess the effects of grazing pressure on soil fertility, carbon storage, erosion protection and forage production," he added.

The results of the study showed that grazing is "generally beneficial in arid regions with relatively cool climates, such as the steppes of Mongolia or Patagonia, and in ecosystems that show high animal and plant biodiversity, such as the African savannah and the Mediterranean thicket," according to the statement.

The diversity of plants and herbivorous mammals in these areas enhances the provision of basic tasks such as the production of fodder for livestock or the storage of carbon and soil fertility, while limiting soil erosion.

Otherwise, the institute pointed out, "the effects of grazing become detrimental to a large extent in the more arid, hot and biodiversity-poor regions, as is the case in some semi-desert regions near the coast, such as Namibia, Australia or Mexico."

"In these hot, arid regions, where there is less vegetation, the fertilization effect of grazing (associated with herd droppings) is less because it evaporates faster. It does not enhance biodiversity and may exacerbate erosion," Gross explained.

"The way we manage ecosystems locally will help make them more or less resilient to climate change," the researcher explained.

It is therefore necessary to favor "local solutions that take into account the entire ecosystem, agricultural practice, soil nature, warming and biodiversity".

Kenya is one of the economic engines of East Africa, despite the pandemic and drought

Nairobi (AFP) - Kenya, rich in wildlife, beaches and agricultural lands, is an economic engine for the East African region, despite the pandemic and unprecedented drought in forty years.

Here are five points about this country located between the Great Lakes region and the Indian Ocean.

Kenya gained its independence in 1963 after eight years of rebellion against British colonial rule. Jomo Kenyatta became the country's first president and was replaced after his death in 1978 by Daniel arap Moi.

In 2002, after 11 years of abandoning the one-party system, and in the first democratic transfer of power, the opposition Mwai Kibaki won the presidential elections.

But in 2007, announcing his re-election in a disputed ballot led to unprecedented ethnic political violence that left more than 1,100 people dead. In 2008, a national unity government was formed headed by Raila Odinga, the current presidential candidate.

Odinga was defeated in the 2013 presidential election by Jomo Kenyatta's son, Uhuru, who has been indicted by the International Criminal Court for his alleged role in the 2007-2008 post-election violence.

In 2017, the Supreme Court annulled the presidential elections due to "irregularities," a precedent in Africa. Uhuru Kenyatta was elected in a new ballot, which was boycotted by his opponent.

And in 2018, the two men forged a surprising alliance at the expense of vice president and presidential candidate William Ruto.

The country has about fifty parks and nature reserves that attracted 1.5 million visitors in 2021, including more than 30,000 giraffes, lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes and leopards.

Environmental activist Wangari Maathai is considered one of the most famous ambassadors of this biodiversity, and in 2004 she won the Nobel Peace Prize for her work on tree planting in particular.

Kenya has also been called the "cradle of humanity".

Also, the Rift Valley, which stretches from Tanzania through Ethiopia to Kenya, has been an arena for major fossil discoveries. In the Turkana region, human remains dating back about six million years were also found.

Kenya is one of the most vibrant economies in East Africa and is keen to take care of its image as a regional hub.

Her image is atypical in Africa. Although its natural resources are relatively few, it is considered an economic engine and enjoys a rich service sector.

Agriculture is also one of its pillars (more than 22% of GDP) and the main source of exports (tea, flowers and coffee).

And after it fell, affected by the pandemic, by 0.3% in 2020, the Kenyan economy began to recover in 2021. However, fuel and food prices rose sharply, especially the prices of corn flour, which is a basic material in the country, which sparked frustration in this country that suffers from rampant corruption. In 2021, Kenya ranked 128th out of 180 countries and territories in Transparency International's Corruption Index.

Inequality is evident in Kenya, where golf courses and slums side by side and where the minimum monthly wage is Sh15,120 (€124). According to the non-governmental organization Oxfam, the wealth of the two richest men in Kenya is greater than the income of 30 percent of the population, or about 16.5 million people.

According to official figures, most of the population of about 50 million are young and Christian.

Of the more than 40 ethnic groups living in the country, the Kikuyu are the largest in numbers, ahead of the Luhya, Kalenjin, and Liu.

Kenya is one of the countries that produces champions in the middle and long distances, such as Eliud Kipchoge and Faith Kipyegon.

Sprinter Ferdinand Umagnela has also made a name for himself in the world. Umanyala has the third best time this year in the 100m race, with 9.85 seconds, which he set last May.

Omanyala holds the African record of 9.77 seconds since last September, and is the eighth fastest runner in history, behind four Americans and three Jamaicans.

Omaniyala became the first runner from Kenya, which is distinguished by long-distance and marathon runners, to reach the semi-finals of the 100-meter race at the Olympic Games, specifically in the Tokyo 2021 edition.

But the country, known to have a large number of its athletes doping, was about to be excluded from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics before it passed an anti-doping law to avoid that.

On August 7, 1998, an attack targeting the US Embassy in Nairobi killed 213 people and injured five thousand others. Al Qaeda has adopted it.

After the Kenyan army entered Somalia in 2011 to fight the extremist Islamist movement Al-Shabaab, attacks multiplied, including an attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi in 2013 and then on Garissa University in 2015, killing 67 and 148 people, respectively.

In 2019, 21 people were killed in an attack on the Dusit hotel complex in Nairobi.

Since then, the attacks have become more sporadic and concentrated in the east of the country.

Immunity to viruses of politics and violence.

Written by: Vida Masha'ar - Editor-in-Chief of "Al-Sanara" newspaper - Nazareth.
We are facing many pests and viruses that we had to strengthen immunity to deal with..
At the head of these stubborn viruses is the family of viruses of various wars that the world is witnessing or threatening today, and the most terrifying of them is the nuclear war from which there is no victor... but its viruses are trying to spread.. so how can global leaders gain immunity against the threat of using these destructive weapons?!
Washington knows very well that there are four giants in the world, because in addition to America and Russia, there are China and India. It is required to find a vaccine to enhance immunity in order to stop the festival of nuclear weapons.
In our society there is still a dangerous old-new war, a war of violent crimes. To find a solution to strengthen immunity and to eliminate this dangerous scourge? There is no fairness or justice, especially with regard to women, as they are weak, despite their steadfastness!
In addition, here it is necessary to recognize the responsibility of the citizen who does not recognize any responsibility... and believes that he has no party to what is happening... If we do not rise up as individuals and groups against violence, then we will not have a rise or any reason for anyone to pity us...
It is also required to strengthen immunity against the pandemic of false promises, as the elections approach, so is there a quick and strong immunity serum against the confusion that may afflict us from the severity of false promises?
O scientists of the world, hurry up to discover a vaccine to raise immunity against what is happening and to give doses to those responsible to escape from the destruction...

Why do we sympathize with the people of Ukraine?

Written by: Hamada Pharaoh

We sympathize with the people of Ukraine. We do not accept occupation, nor a military solution to settle differences or conflicts or achieve interests between countries.

We sympathize with the people of Ukraine not only because of the Russian invasion and what it left of effects, destruction, devastation, and heavy losses for the Ukrainian and Russian sides, and its reflection on the global economy, the energy and food components, and the costly costs for the peoples.

We sympathize with the people of Ukraine against their president and government and the control of the American Zionist current in the management of the Ukrainian state, and the use of their influence to harm the Russian-Ukrainian nationalism as part of the people of Ukraine, the practice of discrimination against them, and the involvement of Russia in the Ukrainian internal problems, and this is what happened and was achieved.

Russia aims, through its invasion of Ukraine, to achieve two goals, one of which is local and the other is international:

First: Its sympathy with the Russian-Ukrainian nationalists who have been subjected to discrimination and harassment, and an agreement was previously reached in September 2015 in the city of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, Ukraine’s neighbor, under Russian auspices, which guarantees the achievement of autonomy for the regions of eastern Ukraine, which have a Russian majority, and the preservation of their language, nationality and self-rule Within the framework of a unified Ukrainian state, similar to Kurdistan in Iraq, and many European countries, Canada and others, but Washington instigated against the agreement after it succeeded in making a Ukrainian political coup, until President Vladimir Bliznsky assumed power, and thus they presented the argument and Moscow’s rush towards its decision to invade Ukraine from In order to end the injustice, discrimination and racist behavior of Ukrainian Russians.

Second: Russia is working to cancel the results of the Cold War, the defeat of the Soviet Union in 1990, and the US unipolar domination of the international political scene.

So the battle in Ukraine has international dimensions and results that are not limited to Ukraine’s borders, which explains the volume of British and European aid provided to it, and that is why Moscow took the initiative, before its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with China on February 14, 2022, i.e. ten years ago. Days of the invasion, which appears to have been carried out with prior agreement with China, and Russia’s attempt to obtain previously unqualified Iranian planes is nothing but to make its battle in Ukraine an international dimension and a multiple partnership, due to its prior realization that Ukraine’s motives and programmed provocations, and the cancellation of the Minsk agreement that included giving the regions Eastern self-rule, this was done with planned American motives and incitement.

The United States, which has encroached on many peoples of the earth, and its forces have previously occupied 58 countries in the world from all continents, and fully adopts the Israeli expansionist colonial project politically, militarily, in intelligence and economically, despite the colony’s occupation of the lands of three Arab countries: Palestine, Syria and Lebanon, and pleads sympathy for the people of Ukraine provides its outrageous Zionist government, which supports the Israeli colony and is hostile to the Palestinian people, provides it with the most powerful and modern advanced weapons, and the flow of its billions to Kiev and provides it with reasons for strength and steadfastness to prevent an honorable agreement with Moscow.

Therefore, we sympathize with the people of Ukraine, with the same value that we sympathized with the suffering of the Jews in Europe during the days of German Nazism, Italian fascism, and Russian tsarism, even though they practice today, through their Israeli project and colony, persecution, oppression, and crimes against the Palestinian people, as the Nazis, fascists, and Caesars did to them and against them.

What do the recent election results say?

Written by: Ali Habibullah

Let us first emphasize that what is called the right and the extreme right versus the left in Israel is a differentiation that takes place within Zionism and not outside it, and Zionism with its colonial structure is the antithesis of our existence as Arabs, under which our citizenship can only be completed by confronting it. This must remain settled, at least for the national movement movement at home.

However, this Israeli partisan national consensus on the Zionism and Judaism of the state should not negate the need for our attention to the form of political transformations within or under the Zionist-Israeli map, and we mean in terms of the spread of the fascism of the religious right in it. The results of the recent elections show us the extent to which Israeli society has gradually accepted the "populist" and fascist ideology that Ben Gvir and Smotrich hold, for example, when they won 14 seats.

Populism has always been a phenomenon related to democratic systems, and while Israel is in its essence Zionist and has a democratic character, the populism of Ben Gvir and Smotrich is a matter pertaining to the Zionist political map itself, because the state is democratic for its Jews first, so the populism of the religious right does not concern the Arabs as much as it does the Jews. As for the fascism of the religious right, it is related to the Palestinian Arab citizens in the country in terms of the escalation of the fascist Zionist tone towards them.

The results of the recent elections are not a victory for the right, but rather a resolution of a form of the right within the right itself. The right, with all its components, has been disobedient to Netanyahu in recent years, which prevented the latter from forming a stable government, which led to five elections in less than four years. Today, he has become a majority in favor of Netanyahu, which will enable him to form a government without having to subjugate the entire right in it.

Otherwise, the high voter turnout in the Israeli-Jewish community in the recent elections in an unprecedented way in recent decades, which raised the percentage of votes required by the decision-making ratio this time, revealed the form of state Zionism that has become more compatible with its right. The results, with a high vote rate, did not only bring Ben Gvir and Smotrich and the spread of their fascism, but also dropped the Meretz party from the map of parliamentary political representation in the Knesset, as well as the decline of the Labor Party, which was barely able to pass the electoral threshold by four seats. Meretz and Labor are the two parties that are considered the last strongholds of the "left" within the Zionist political map in the country.

The most important thing these results say are two things, the first: The language of Zionism, represented by the fascist right, has become more clear and reconciled with its structure that built the Jewish state historically. The second: These results tell Mansour Abbas and his party's approach quite simply: You can change and become mentally authoritarian and nothing more. Actually, that is not possible in such a form of the right-wing of the upcoming executive power.

What about Arab parties?

The elections ended, while the National Democratic Gathering was outside the Knesset, for the first time since the birth of the party and its representation in the Knesset in 1996. The assembly, led by Sami Abu Shehadeh, received more than 139,000 votes, a result that did not allow the party to cross the threshold, but it was prevented Defeat the assembly and attempt to overthrow it and remove it from the political arena. As the assembly, which was forced to run in the elections alone, surprised everyone with its ability to achieve this popular rally around it with a limited period of time and modest organizational and financial resources.

However, the results of the Arab elections were closed to the National Democratic Assembly alone, after each of the United List - the Southern Islamic Movement - led by Mansour Abbas managed to win 5 seats by obtaining more than 190,000 votes. Likewise, the Front / Tibi coalition list won nearly 179,000 votes, giving it 5 seats as well, leaving the National Assembly alone outside the circle of parliamentary representation.

The strength of the United List - the Southern Islamic Movement - increased by an additional seat despite its problematic participation in the previous government coalition for the first time, and despite all the political and security practices of the Bennett-Lapid government towards our people in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem. The front has also relatively maintained its strength in alliance with Tibi, despite our Arab society's dissatisfaction with it and its leaders, who stand at the top of its electoral list.

That the Unified List was able to increase the strength of its representation, as well as the Front, which increased its representation this time in the Knesset with an additional seat also in rotation with Tibi, indicates the stability of the voting blocs of both the Unified List and the Front. Indeed, the strength of the voting bloc of the Unified List has increased this time. Al-Muwahhidah was able to unexpectedly get almost double the votes it got in the 24 elections in the Negev, which indicates that Al-Muwahhidah, as well as the Front, have fixed voting blocs linked to groups that have distinct social features.

Al-Muwahidha has become the line that represents the Bedouin Arab segment in the south and north of the country (Bedouins of the Negev and Bedouins of the North), while the front is still the closest to certain circles in the Galilee and “mixed” cities, which explains to us the stability of voting blocs with identity-social surveys, regardless of About the political form presented by both lists, and this is not available to the National Democratic Assembly, despite the mass rally around it in the recent elections. This is due to the structure of the Tagammu’ Party and its political identity since its establishment as a national movement representing all components of society, regardless of their social and cultural diversity.

The most important thing that the results of the recent elections refer to, whether in the Jewish-Israeli society or our Arab society, is that we live in a stage in which the “political” crisis is expressed with social concerns, as the principles (principles) of the party are no longer sufficient to form its followers, but rather become The strength of the party requires the formation of a common social structure for all who represent it. As for the National Democratic Assembly, the party was able to prevent its defeat, but its winning the battle does not end with the results of the last elections, by obtaining 139,000 votes. This is the assembly exam in the next stage. About "Arab 48"
