The statement noted that 25 suspects of incitement were arrested, and 9 indictments were filed in this regard.


The team, which was formed at the end of February of this year, consists of the Israeli police, the Shin Bet, the army, and public prosecutors, and works to monitor “inflammatory content,” examine publications, remove any content, and open investigations into any serious cases.


The Israeli Ministry of National Security claims that the aim of this team’s formation and work is to combat “unbridled and absolute incitement to terrorism through social media networks, which has increased the series of attacks in the last two years.”
