Israeli troops accused of force entering Al-Aqsa Mosque 19 times in April
Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs stated that settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque 19 times, and the occupation prevented the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque 61 times, during the month of April.
The ministry said in its monthly report, “The Israeli occupation committed a serious and unprecedented violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the past month, by cutting the wires of the speakers of the minarets of Al-Aqsa Mosque to prevent the sound of the call to prayer from reaching outside it in a provocative manner, and by storming the Bab Al-Rahma Mosque and cutting the electrical wires inside it.” And desecration of it by entering it with shoes, in a plan to close it and prevent prayer in it, and this is a major and dangerous violation of the exclusive right of Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all its mosques, prayer rooms, and squares.”
The Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Hatem Al-Bakri, affirmed that the occupation authorities are continuing their daily violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Ibrahimi Mosque, and Islamic and Christian places and sanctities during the observed month, especially in the blessed month of Ramadan, in an attempt to disturb the atmosphere of prayers, and harm the religious feelings of Muslims in this holy month.
He said: "The occupation is working to pass its plans through these violations, which are moving at an escalating and systematic pace to implement its vision of temporal and spatial division inside Al-Aqsa Mosque with its mosques, squares and facilities."
In its report, the ministry noted that the occupation forces intensified their repressive measures against the worshipers who came to perform prayers and seclusion in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan, and also forced the worshipers and those in seclusion to leave it by force, in preparation for the settlers’ incursions. Easter in preparation for its implementation in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
She pointed out that extremist settler groups called on their supporters to carry out the largest storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Passover holiday, coinciding with what the occupation army announced to impose a closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and to close all checkpoints during the holiday period.
The report indicated that dozens of worshipers and those in retreat were suffocated during the repeated incursions of the occupation forces into the Al-Qibli prayer hall in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
And it reported that a quarter of a million worshipers performed the fourth Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the Israeli occupation’s restrictions on worshipers, and its attempt to impede their access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the occupation forces continued their violations against the Palestinian people, as they arrested hundreds of citizens from its squares, and from different regions.
And she continued: The occupation police stormed the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. To remove the Palestinian flag from the tribal scales of the Dome of the Rock chapel on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan.
The occupation police also stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Al-Qibli prayer hall several times during the last third of Ramadan, coinciding with the Jewish "Passover" holiday. Thousands of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the days of the holiday.

With regard to Islamic and Christian sanctities and religious places, the report monitored the notification of the Israeli occupation authorities to demolish seven graves in the village of Al-Burj, southwest of Hebron, under the pretext of building in the area called "C", noting that the cemetery is built on lands belonging to the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
While settlers stormed the Solomon Tourist Pools in the city of Bethlehem, and performed Talmudic rituals for two consecutive days, and settlers who sponsored a guard north of Salfit under the protection of the occupation forces stormed and attacked Islamic shrines, desecrated them, performed Talmudic rituals in the town, and chanted anti-Arab slogans and phrases under the pretext of Jewish holidays.
The occupation forces also stormed and desecrated a mosque in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, in search of the perpetrator of a shooting attack. The occupation forces also stormed the town of Al-Zawiya in Salfit, and handed the citizens a notice to stop work and construction in a mosque.
The report also monitored a number of violations against Christian religious sites and their Christian visitors, and the occupation forces imposed strict restrictions to limit the access of Christians to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in occupied Jerusalem, and reduced the number of those celebrating the Holy Saturday in the holy month of Ramadan, which precedes Easter, and prevented Christians from Only a few people could enter, and the settlers insulted and spat at the nuns in front of a church in occupied Jerusalem.
