Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday.
In Ramallah, occupation forces arrested a number of residents of the town of Kobar during a raid that lasted several hours. Dozens of young men were detained and interrogated, after the home of freed Palestinian activist Nael Barghouti was turned into a field interrogation center.
In Silwad, occupation forces arrested citizens Raslan Ahmed Raslan Al-Tawil and Baraa Jamil Marai Hamed after raiding their homes and ransacking their contents.
The occupation forces also arrested Hamza Limon after raiding and searching his family's home in the village of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya, east of Ramallah.
In Bethlehem, occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Khader and took up positions in several areas, most notably: the Old City, Al-Balou', the Great Mosque, Al-Bawaba, Abu Sura neighborhood, and Jabal Abu Ramdan. They raided and searched citizens' homes and arrested a number of children and young men after interrogating them on the spot.
The occupation forces also arrested the freed prisoner Saleh Mahmoud Shakarneh, after raiding and searching his father's home in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
In Nablus, occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik at dawn, raided the home of freed prisoner Bashar Fares Nasasra, and arrested his son Laith (24 years old).
These forces also arrested the young man, Fouad Ziad Nasasra (18 years old), after raiding and searching his family’s home and ransacking its contents.
The occupation forces tightened their military measures at checkpoints around Nablus and conducted vehicle searches.
In occupied Jerusalem, occupation forces arrested young man Reda Obeid after raiding his home in the town of Issawiya.
