UNRWA: The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is at its worst level since October 2023.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Monday that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached its worst level since October 2023, 50 days after Israel prevented any supplies from entering the Strip.

UNRWA added in a post on the X platform: "It has been 50 days since the Israeli authorities prevented any supplies from entering the Strip. Food, water, medical care, and shelter are increasingly scarce, while aid is piling up at the crossings."

UNRWA confirmed that 500,000 Palestinians were displaced again last month, following the resumption of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

UNRWA announced on Friday that it currently operates 115 shelters across Gaza, housing more than 90,000 displaced people.
