Today, Monday, the Captive Club said, "100 cases of arrest were recorded in Jericho governorate since the beginning of this year, and they concentrated in Aqabat Jaber camp , which is witnessing an escalating confrontation with the Israeli occupation , and among the detainees were 10 children."

In a brief statement, the club confirmed that (32) of them are still under arrest, and part of them are under investigation to date, and that a group of them have been issued orders banning them from meeting with a lawyer.

Among the detainees were first-degree relatives of the martyrs, including the administrative detainee Wael Awadat (51 years old), who is the father of the two martyrs, Raafat and Ibrahim, and the father of the prisoner, Abdel Hafez Awadat.

The club added, "The occupation authorities transferred 15 of them to administrative detention, including Wael Awadat."

He stated that the majority of those arrested were subjected to abuse, threats, and torture, which affected their families, in addition to the repeated storming of citizens' homes, and the use of all kinds of weapons.

The club confirmed that, through testimonies and follow-up, the policy of (collective punishment) was the most prominent policy that the occupation authorities deliberately used against citizens in Jericho, specifically in Aqabat Jaber camp, which has been subjected to more than one aggression since the beginning of this year.
