An Israeli political official said, on Sunday, that the pictures of his government's police storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque in recent days and attacking the Palestinians inside caused great harm at the international level .

The Hebrew Channel 12 quoted the Israeli official as saying that these images helped the Palestinians tell them that Al-Aqsa is in danger.

The Israeli official described the activity of his police forces as somewhat excessive, stressing the need for an investigation.
