Today, Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh received, in his office in Ramallah, the head of Canada's representative office to the State of Palestine , Ambassador David da Silva, and briefed him on the latest developments and violations of the occupation. They also discussed with him the promotion of joint cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister stressed that Israel, by violating the sanctity of the holy places and worship and the attacks we witnessed against the worshipers and seclusion in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, flouts all international norms and covenants and international and humanitarian law in Palestine.

Shtayyeh called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to stop all its measures and violations against our people, and to oblige it to all the agreements signed with it.

The Prime Minister discussed with the Canadian representative strengthening joint cooperation between the two countries, and recognizing the State of Palestine on the 1967 borders to protect and preserve the two-state solution, pointing to the importance of enhancing trade exchange and networking the private sector between the two countries.
