Jordan condemns the occupation forces' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and considers it a flagrant violation
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation police's storming of Al -Aqsa Mosque and assaulting it and its residents, calling on Israel to immediately remove the police and special forces from the Holy Mosque.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Ambassador Sinan Al-Majali, said in a statement, at dawn today, Wednesday, that the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Qudsi Al-Sharif and attacking it and the worshipers is a flagrant violation, and an act that is condemned and rejected, calling on Israel, as the occupying power, to stop its violations of international humanitarian law and desist. For all measures aimed at changing the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its sanctities.
The official spokesman for the Jordanian Foreign Ministry warned of the consequences of this dangerous escalation, and held Israel responsible for the safety of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Qudsi Al-Sharif and the worshipers.
He stressed that Israel bears responsibility for the dangerous consequences of this escalation, which undermines efforts to achieve calm and prevent the escalation of violence that threatens peace and security.
