American forces enter advanced armored vehicles and weapons into their bases in northeastern Syria
The American forces brought in dozens of military vehicles and containers coming from northern Iraq to their bases in the Syrian al-Jazeera region in the north-east of the country, which includes the governorates of Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah, according to the Syrian official media.
Today (Sunday), the Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted local sources from Al-Yarubiyah countryside in Al-Hasakah as saying, "A convoy of the American occupation consists of 60 vehicles, including trucks loaded with containers of weapons, ammunition, and advanced military armored vehicles, in addition to 40 oil-stealing tanks, accompanied by Three military vehicles entered the Syrian territory through the illegal Al-Walid crossing.
The sources indicated that "the convoy headed to the town of Al-Yarubiyah coming from the bases of the occupation in Iraq, and from there to its bases that it established in the Syrian Jazira, where these supplies are sorted to support the militia (Qasd) associated with it on the one hand, and to arm the terrorist groups affiliated with it near its bases in the Jazira." And the al-Tanf area in the eastern countryside of Homs, on the other hand, which it uses to carry out attacks on residential gatherings, the state’s infrastructure, and the sites of the Syrian Arab Army.”
Syria accuses the United States of stealing Syrian oil and wheat from its territory and transporting it outside Syrian territory towards Iraq.
And last August, the Syrian Ministry of Oil said in a statement that the American forces steal 80 percent of the Syrian oil production.
In its statement, the ministry said that the US forces and their mercenaries steal an average of 66,000 barrels of oil per day in Syria, as the country's average daily oil production is estimated at 80,000 barrels in the first half of 2022.
The illegal smuggling of Syrian oil caused direct and indirect losses of about $107.1 billion to the oil and gas sectors in Syria, according to the Ministry of Oil.
The Syrian government considers the presence of US forces on its territory illegal, and demands their departure.
